Chloe followed along behind the group, having to recall Entreri for the time being. She knew that the Weavile would leap into the battle without a care.

She couldn't help but wince at Israfel's state.



Israfel's Lucario crumpled, growling as it struggled to remain standing. He cast another worried glance to Israfel, who was clutching his chest tightly. He was glaring balefully at the group.

"Return..." he managed to get out, recalling the Lucario, who let out a surprised cry of denial. However, the Pokeball drew the reluctant fighter back into his Pokeball.

Israfel looked up, smirking faintly, "You guys certainly... don't pull any punches, do you," he chuckled. He was thankful that he could at least remain upright for the moment.

He paused for a moment, before raising his hands in surrender. He knew he was beat. He could probably cause a distraction with his Pokemon, however he wasn't even sure he had the strength to lift a Pokeball at this point. Not to mention he was more than a little outnumbered.

"Sheesh, whatever, you win..." he muttered weakly.

Julian (Becoming Arbok hybridized. Has developed Fangs and Arbok markings on his chest as well as his skin feeling like scales. Purple hair.)

Julian stepped forward so that he was right beside Isfarel and sniffed him cautiously. Ookami growled at Julian getting so close to the enemy but he held out his hand to calm her down. "It's alright Ookami. He isn't in any condition to be hurting anyone right now."

Julian looked down at isfarel and smiled a bit as he grabbed the pokeball that held Ricardo's pokemon. "You're pretty lucky. It smells like You got me off of you in just enough time to get a non-lethal dose of poison, though I could easily change that." He shrugged. "Doesn't matter that much though, you did get enough in you to shut down most of your bodies functions for quite a while."

Israfel sneered at the group, "You think you can intimidate me?" he laughed. The laugh turned into a cough a moment later, but that did little to falter him.

"You honestly think that anything you could do to me would scare me," he chuckled.

"Yes, I report to Notaro," he smirked, "As to his involvement in this matter, I personally don't find it any of your business," he spat, before looking to Brayden, observing the boy, "Although it might be your business after all," he smirked slightly, not elaborating in the least.

"Here," he spat, tossing Gigi, Keaton and Shojo's Pokeballs to the mine floor. There really was no reason for him to be holding onto it now.

Israfel reached forward suddenly, grabbing Kaya's collar with his hand forcefully as he pulled a knife from its hidden sheath to the prince's throat.

"Nothing you say or do could hinder the plans in play," he stated, a cold gleam in his eyes that wasn't present prior.

"My pawns are many," Israfel's voice continued, although by now it was apparent that he wasn't the one talking. Notaro had controlled Israfel only a handful of times before, but it came in handy when he needed to.

"And as to what we're doing here," another voice spoke up from elsewhere. A small old woman emerged from the shadows, glaring. She wouldn't look all that menacing, except for the fact that she was one of the Elite Four.



"You have no business here, you have no concern here, and yet you fools continue to pursue deeper into trouble, don't you?" Agatha glowered, raising a hand from her cane in signal. A violet mist seeped from the cavern walls.

Julian could feel his insticnts taking over as the Arbok hissed at them. He struggled with himself as his eyes changed repeatedly from feral to human. He grunted with exertion as he regained complete control of himself. Julian sighed as he sent forth nezumi who was already out of her pokeball. "Agatha..."

Everyone knew the infamous elite, for better or worse. Julian pointed his finger at the Arbok. "Nezumi hit it with a thunderbolt but be careful to stay out of it's way. Use your speed to your advantage." He told the small mouse pokemon as it agiley leapt at the snake and turned at the last second to jump ontop of a boulder and launch lightening at the pokemon.

Ricardo ran up to Jullian and grabbed his pokemon from his hand. "Thanks" he said quickly before he noticed the Arbok. He returned all his pokemon to their pokeballs when they came running up, just to be safe. When he turned around he finally noticed the Arbok. He gulped and stared at it. "What's with that pokemon...?" he examined it, trying to figure out. It seemed strong, stronger than his pokemon can handle. "Better exploit type weaknesses. I just hope he'll listen..."

Ricardo then threw out Mewtwo. "Mewtwo! Use Future sight!" he yelled out, pointing over at the Arbok. The Mewtwo simply looked back at him and scoffed, it gave him that "Like I'm going to listen to you." look. "Come on Mewtwo! Now isn't the time for you to be having a superiority complex!"

The mists around the Arbok shifted, favoring a pattern that boosted the snake's speed. This would allow the sinister serpent to strike twice this turn.

"Arbok!" Agatha called, "Use a Dark Pulse, aim for that white one!"

"Chaaaaaaaa!" the Arbok hissed, bearing its fangs at Kaya. A moment later a blast of dark energy flared from the mists around the snake, firing at the prince.

Kaya stumbled back a step when the dark energy struck him, but he recovered quickly. "You can't stop us that easily, you old hag!" he cried as he ran forward. Hana Nagamaki materializing in his hand as he approached the Arbok. He slashed wildly at the Pokemon, appearing as if he were performing some strange dance. Jumping back, he found that the Pokemon was mostly unharmed until strange, flower covered vines sprouted, following each of the slash marks, which were now glowing green, and took root in it's form, sapping it's energy for a few moments. The Dancing Blade had been effective. His blade vanished in the blink of an eye.
