He partially woke up once but decided that since Kaleb was still out that he could just go back to sleep. Rufus would call him if he needed him n the office so he hadn't made plans to get up and go to work.

At one point Kaleb sneezed a little in his sleep, but aside from that he didn't move or anything. It probably seemed unnatural, but it had to be for the little healer to actually sleep so soundly during the day.

He was perfectly happy to sleep the whole day away curled up in bed with his pillowmage. That was a perfectly good way for him to spend a day in his mind.

It was at least six hours before Kaleb finally started to shrug off the side effects of that medication. He stirred weakly and tried to roll over, but didn't get much farther than just wiggling onto his back.

He grumbled slightly as Kaleb moved but left his muzzle on his partners neck. It wasn't time to get up since they'd been asleep all day anyway.

Kaleb's mind still felt all fuzzy, but he tried to wiggle around a bit more just so Riley wouldn't get too clingy. "That was mean," he muttered in a drowsy voice, the moment he woke up enough to put the words together.

Kaleb had to stop wiggling and think about that for a second. "Yes," he said, waking up a bit more and glaring at his partner. "My head is better, but you drugged me."

He grumbled slightly. "I did not .... least not bad." He technically had drugged Kaleb but he'd done it so that his partner would feel better later.

Kaleb turned his glare in the clock's direction, and then flailed a bit as he tried to squirm away. "Riley, it's so late! I have to get up!"

Kaleb shook his head, that made no sense at all to him. "If I don't get up, I won't sleep well tonight," he exclaimed, once again trying to squirm out of his partner's grasp.

Kaleb squirmed until he could pull the pillow out from under his partner's head and smack him with it. "I'm not taking anything! And I don't want to sleep worse!" Taking painkillers as a sleep aid would just mess him up worse.
