Lov...EH?! Warning flares went off like the fourth in his head. Maybe I am eternally damned...

"Tag your it..." He mumbled softly as he looked at Tijae and not Tellus. Then he shook his head to clear it. Again Hono had been the, amazingly enough, voice of reason.

"You're right, Vahn, lets...just keep going."

He started to walk forward, even as the demon girl also turned to start moving. Before she could get too far, though he grasped her upper arm, hard, keeping a hold on her and moving in time with her steps.

"Start anything, and I'll kill you myself, Tijae..." The girl only batted long eyelashes at him, feigning innocence.

"I have no idea what you're talking about,Sun..." The smile was bright, and fake. Sun started thinking dark...VERY dark thoughts at this point.

May all the gods in heaven ******** me over for being twice unlucky...damnit!!

He said nothing, even as he continued moving forward.

Yellowed eyes narrowed, an intensity unlike anything ever seen before from him...

We had only just arrived... and yet... we were already more divided than all of Victor's forces combined.

The massive doors that suddenly loomed up in front of them caused Vahn to slowly come to a halt.

The doors depicted a strange mural; what appeared to be the world, with a massive serpent intertwined around it.

Who disturbs my slumber this time...

The sudden voice caused Vahn to startle from his thoughts, staring around for the source of said voice.

However, he wasn't looking ahead.

The doors themselves twisted and shifted, forming the visage of a featureless face, a face which stretched out to peer at the group before it.

"...!"

Tellus continued smiling up at Sunstrike. "Besides, if you kill me, you kill your precious Leviathan's child." A small sardonic grin was back before she shook her head, the silvered eyes fading to green.

"Sun...?" the girl whimpered. "You're hurting my arm." She jerked her arm free, wondering what in the hell was going on that Sun felt the need to hurt her like that. She began to walk after Vahn again only to almost collide with his back due to paying more attention to rubbing her now sore arm.

"Ommph.." She looked up and saw the mural and a low whistle escaped her lips. "Is that a picture of Jormungand?" Wait, maybe I'm getting my mythos screwed up again, maybe this will teach you to hang out with deities and gods, Tell girl.

She then cheekily whispered up to Vahn. "I think you should probably answer, Kasuga."

Lucind Varhetel

Not far away from the dome construction laid the Half-Siren's chambers, her private area were she had been brooding most time over her current situation. Almost a week had passed since she was brought here and long since moving into her temporary new home the woman had given up sneaking around - she almost saw nobody but a hint from Victor had made her clear she couldn't move around unnoticed.

And speaking of Victor, Lucind hadn't met him again after their conversation in the garden. She sighed and ran a wash-rag over shoulder and arm, lolling in her jacuzzi bath, while at the same time four figures wandered through the desert, not knowing they were going to be attacked in a few minutes.
Lucind closed her eyes and listened to the silence around, only occasionally disturbed by dribbling water.

Lady Sierra
*Deep within the heart of the garden pulsed a strong beat of energy. Each pulse of power was like the note to a song as an enchanting voice sang in a foreign tongue... a tongue of ancients and of earthen poetry.*

Suddenly she felt something nudging her mind and she glanced sidewards, a trace of amber squinting through slits. Lucind thought she'd heard something...or felt...but wasn't sure.
With another sigh the woman got out of the bath and even made the effort to use one of the large towels instead of her water repelling ability.
She strolled over to the dresser to pick on of the many lotions.

Finally, the Half-Siren started dressing: a beige longsleeve cotton dress over her undies, which left her shoulders bare and reached down to mid-thigh; a silken, bordeaux coloured kimono-like garment on top reaching down to her calves.
After putting on those soft leather boots she also took a cloak, which rather resembled a noble, hooded dressing gown: made of brocade and velvet, it showed shades of darkest blue and green which changed depending on the light falling upon the fabric. There were rich embroideries along the seams and on the belt, in blue and silver.

The cloak almost hid the boot's heels and silently slid over steps when Lucind made her way out of the rooms, her face bathed in the cowl's shadow.

Lady Sierra
*She danced and sang in a trance like state... the power about her being swelling with every word and gesture...

It had been some time since Victor had secured Ra'kar's position as the dominant soul within the elf maiden's body. And now... they had guests arriving... guests whom they had been awaiting with eager anticipation. And now that they were here... She was going to deliver a powerful performance...*

Again Lucind's ears twitched when she came closer to one of the garden's entries and when she quietly went in there could be no doubt that Victor had catched another bird. No Siren, though.
Carefully, the disguised woman approached the source of the foreign song.

He just...watched her go.

It was always like this. He picked up the pieces, put her together, just to watch her fall apart again.

The voice startled him as much as it had Vahn and he looked up, and then up some more at the...

"Did the door knocker just SPEAK?!" His voice cracked in disbelief.

"....."

Vahn stared upwards, even as the 'face' twisted and pushed forward more, until it was more or less staring down at the whole 'party'.

Only four of you? This is a refreshing change of pace.

"H-Hey, you haughty b*****d!"

Ouuuu?

Vahn stood there, holding his Fang out towards the door, threatentingly.

"Yea--- open these damn doors up!"

Hmpth. Such impudence from humans... I refuse.

Eye twitch.

Tellus smiled and put her hand on Vahn's chest. "Excuse me, Mister...umm...err...Sir." She blushed as she had no idea what to call a door that spoke but figured that diplomacy might be a better route. "We would just like to get through, there are someone we are supposed to meet on the other side."

She was small enough, and petite enough to be taken for someone much younger, espcially with the way she hemmed and hawed and was trying to be nice and polite.

stare I'm getting tired of being called a human like it was something really bad.... sweatdrop *Rave looked up at the doors and wondered if it was actually sentient or just a really good spell* I could probably just bounce us in Vahn....can't grantee that it would work, but I am getting a bit twitchie standing out in the open like this, especially after that nice welcoming party we just had..
*Rave was trying hard not to look up at the face staring down at them, it was a little too creepy for her right now, looking instead to Sun, Vahn, and Tell*

"My guess is that we'd end up splattered all over the building if you tried, Hono..." He mumbled to her softly, watching Kat and Vahn try and deal with the knocker. "It's probably guarded against all sorts...I mean, how often do you get a talking door demon?"

His eyes took in the surroundings, just as twitchy as Hono after that attack. He didn't like the vibes he was getting from Vahn...

"Easy...s'a test...probably of your patience..." Sun muttered. He didn't know whether Vahn heard him or not, he was mostly speaking to himself.

Oh? What's this... such a lovely female.

The face seemed to stretch out a wee bit more, as if eyeballing Tellus now.

I will let you all pass... if she....

"Eh?" Vahn was getting more than impatient now, even more so when the damn door wasn't speaking up. "Speak louder, louder!"

...Shows me her breasts.

.....

......

"Pervert!" Vahn slapped his hands together, falling onto his side.

Facepalm, that's what Tell's narrator did when she read that. Yay anime cliches. Tellus on the other hand just sweatdropped as she stood selfconciously with her hands in front of her, unintentionally plumping her own breasts, since the narrator wants to keep following the cliche.

"Ummm...isn't there another way?"
PostPosted: Sun Jan 29, 2006 9:42 am

*Hono was doubled over with silent laughter... she kept trying to think of something witty to say that would distract the door, but she just kept wheezing with laughter over the fact that Tellus was getting hit on by an innamate object*

Sighs softly.

"Ah for the love of Pete.... Look! Mr. Doorknocker, couldn't we just...be allowed in and let you have a look AFTER we leave? I mean...s'not like there's a back entrance we can sneak out or into, is there?"
