I was starting to develop my method of defending that didn't insist that bore the brunt of the attack, although it was actually quite old and I used it during my kenjutsu training when I was still alive. I was starting to parry the attacks using a sort of slap, which was using the Kosshijutsu I knew in order to affect the nerve and muscle structure to push the incoming thing out of the way.

Implementing the slap technique some more I started to use it with my feet. I had taken to not wearing very much now, because my clothes were just shredding under the training now, and I was quite sure that it wasn't going to get any easier at all. I slapped away an incoming punch, and then slapped a round house kick above me with my foot.

The brought it's knee up between my legs. I had to move and fast to avoid this blow. Yet i didn't instead I drove my elbow down in order to stop the blow coming up towards me. This Golem was faster than me so I knew that trying to escapefrom it would be useless at the moment.

It changed direction jumped back slightly and swept low causing me to jump up out of it's path, however, it seemed to have other minds and swept around bringing a horizontal kick to my chest. Damned thing. There was little I could do, yet I drove my leg down, just above the golem's kick into it' lower knee. Almost an intercepting strike. If only I had managed to get more momentum out of it.

I sprung up into the air and the golem followed, I spun around as it tried to punch up, and used my leg to knock it away in a sweeping motion. The golem seemed a little annoyed about this as it went back down. On my descent, it was on me immediately, and I was forced to catch its fist, drag it further than it wanted to go and push it off to the side, It however was still quicker, planted itself on the floor and spun around in a sweep. I had seconds to spare before kneeling straight down into the blow and blocking the attack with both arms.
The golem stood up.
"Are you ready to procede to the next part of your training?" The totem asked. I shook my head, "There are some things I'd like to take care of back at Seireitei."
"Seireitei...then you'll be needing this my young shinigami," Suddenly my Waraku was released and I appeared as if by some kind of portal back where I began, before the bridge. The totem followed shortly after. I nodded to it.
"I will be back."
"I know." With that the totem vanished and I saddled up and headed back to Seireitei.
