Ha. Cloud deals a lot of damage per hit, and could take way too many hits, Tifa dealt the most Limit Break damage, and Vincent..... is just awesome. xd How could anyone that turns into nightmare creatures not be awesome? I had that team, gave everyone the Final Attack-Revive Materia combo and I really only lost against Emerald and Ruby.

My team consisted of Cloud, Cid, and another character that depended on who I wanted to play with at any particular point.

Yuffie/Vincent
My initial party had replaced Yuffie/Vincent with Red XIII, however I had found myself bored with that and wanted to explore with different characters in my second game. Cloud is a must in the party for you are more or less stuck to him for most of the game.
Tifa for I found the reels for her limit break interesting, and because she's the character I liked -and admired- the most.
Yuffie and Vincent are interesting merely because I never really used them before, I also find it interesting how they are both long ranged fighters and optional characters. Long ranged fighters are always useful.

One can only imagine how my heart sand with joy when Cloud [SPOILER!] was missing putting Tifa in charge of the team for that short while. I of course seized the opportunity to have a Tifa, Vincent, and Yuffie party.
