((all spellcasters - artificers, bards, clerics, sorcerers, and wizards - need 8 hours of "rest" before they get new spell slots to use. Even warforged, who do not need to sleep at all, need this 8 hours of rest, which just signifies a time when no strenuous activity is taking place))

The place you are is not safe. Roll a gather information or Knowledge (local) to determine a place to go.

You know Lower Dura is a crime ridden ward. Perhaps going higher in Dura might be safer?

((unfortunately, if you have no points in a Knowledge skill, the highest DC you can beat is 10. So you got real basic knowledge))
