The next place Vyr comes across is the church. This place had him puzzled. There was no blood, no one being killed, and no fighting. He looked at the wall and read the word out loud, "Ch...urch...church. Is this what this establishment is called. It's strange and i don't think i should stay here long." He snooped around, cautious, yet curious about every little detail. The glass painted windows had him mesmerized. His eyes almost had feeling in them, but then he turned his gaze over to a man on a cross with nails jammed in his wrists. "....." He turned and walked out the door, his eyes back to their usual state.

Silently the wolf padded in past the doors, her head partialy lowered. This place unearved her, it showed in the way her ears layed flat against her skull, in the way her muscles seemed tensed, in the way her body was ready to spring forward at any moment. But she had come anyway, why? She could not be certain, she didn't feel at ease here, in all truth she felt threatened here, greatly so.
Though one thing caught her attention, much as it had another not to long ago, the windows. She found them interesting, it was the only thing in this place that eased her in the slightest, though soon enough her eyes began to wonder again. She found it so strange to find such a place in the middle of the Syndicate, where from what she had witnessed was steeped in blood and pain. But than again, what was life, with out it's oddities?
Shaking her head slightly she turned to make her leave of this place, wolfs at one time in religion had been hunted as the devils workers. It had been during the time many refered to as 'The Burning'. During witch hunts and all, she remembered those times, even if they had not taken place here.
Therefore, she would never feel at ease in a place of religion and churches, even though some where not like the others, she still felt the pain of those years. Even so, as she had already began to walk towards the exit, the light shifted into the windows, blazing there color over the ground infront of her. So much like flickering fire, that she paused...and remembered.
A young wolf slept fitfuly within the darkness of the hole she had found that night, she had been wounded, her hind right leg slashed and left to bleed. She had done all she could for it, but she had been young, and not old enough to tap into her natural 'gifts'. Even as she slept beings began to enter the forest with there fire brands, there pitchforks, and rope. Had she had some warning that, tonight the village people where going to hunt, she would never had stopped here, no matter how badly wounded.
But she had not known that earlier that day a Varg had attacked and killed many children in the fields and escaped. They where bound on vengance, and she, had become the target, four the Varg had only ben seen at a distance, she matched the shape.
She had been woken abruptly when a branch of fire was tossed into the hole with her, causing her to scamper out swiftly. She had not been able to control fire at that time and had sought only to be away from its greedy flames. She had walked right into the hands of the villagers, and though she fought as much as she could, her leg finaly gave out, giving them enough time to club her in the back of her head, darkening her already dim world.
She had awoken much later inside of a wooden room, and while she was capapble of turning 'human' and walking away, normaly, tonight was not so. Her energy had been depleted to much in the fight and in trying to heal herself as she could. Plus back than, her transformations where not so easy. She knew that unless she could find her way out, she would die soon. She could already here the priest reading his verses, she knew soon she would leave this mortal world.
However, what she had not counted on was a little boy, no more than seven having seen her when she was brought in, he had fallen in love with her, seeing her as a gift from above, instead of below. So as dawn aproached she heard the 'lock' shift and pulled away from the door, she had been ready to attack all and any, but when the boy catiously came in, she had paused in her attack and watched him wearily.
What he did, surprised her, he suddenly wrapped h is little arms around her and hugged her, whispering softly " My grandfather was said to be a were, he was a good man, though no one but my father knew, and later me. I'll free you"
She had been shocked, how was it this boy was even alive than if his grand dad had been what he claimed? It didn't matter, he was offering her freedom, and she took it, but not before gently touching the boys forehead with her nose. Than she was slipping away into the darkness, slowly because of her wound, but free none the less.
It was years later that the wolf returned to that village, years later when the hell beast had been in control, she remembered sluaghtering that whole village. She had seen everything, even a boy of eleven years who looked familiar to her beast ridden mind. A boy who had been on his knees in front of her asking why she had done this, she had killed him, just like she had the others.
The one who had saved her and gave her freedom had died by her claws. When she had finaly returned to herself, she had been filled with such loathing, such terribly bitterness at herelf. She had killed him.
She had repaid his kindness with death, and all because she hadn't been able to control the beast.
A ripple went through the wolf's massive frame as she came back around to herself. The color at her feet had turned to that of blood, she swallowed and closed those icy sapphire eyes of her's. Mourning in her own way the loss of a boy that had deserved so much more than death at the claws of a beast. At the claws of her.

Slowly the wolfs eyes open, a slight wearyness present within the icy orbs. She had no memory of falling asleep, but it must have been so, for why else would she still be within the building that unearved her in more ways than one?
She had thought that the faint sound of a mans voice singing had entered into her tormented dreams, aswell as the feeling of fingers running through her fur. Had it been a dream or had she indeed been so tired that she had not woken to the touch of another being? That thought made her uneasy, that she could have been sleeping so soundly that she had left herself open to danger, and threats.
Still, she seemed to be okay and well. She could feel no new wounds upon her body, no new marks of hatred and anger. Softly she let out an exhale of air through her teeth, and than stiffened as she heard the door 'opened'. Her ears went back at the smell of fire, it was odd that she could scent just pure fire without the burn, but she was not a normal creature either.
Her eyes moved slightly towrads the being who had walked in, she wondered why he came in here if it harmed him. But than again, it was one of those strange moments of oddness she did not understand. Despite the fact that she was much older thans he looked, much older than in a way she acted. Only at times would the 'old one' show through her quite and seemingly 'young' exterior. It was so, and she remained silent, looking instead now for the one she was sure had touched her in her sleep, and had sung to her.
