Howdy everbody. Yes, Thanksgiving break does a body good, yes. I got to talk to a friend of mine who moved to California. She's still in band after three years. (Not a flute though, she's on the drumline). We also got to do sectionals for the first time in forever. biggrin I've been passing 2nd chair on chair tests (now if only . . . I won't go there.) I also jammed with my dad with this weekend. He played guitar, and I played flute. Well, that's all for today! biggrin

Pretty boring, but I'm glad you enjoyed yours biggrin And I'm glad that things are starting to go well in band for you. I wish I wasn't the only one in my family that played an instrument besides my bro.

I take it since you've been playing for 5 yrs ur a sophmore?

Hah, Im a flute playeron the side. I played flute in 7th grade concert band, but other than that I play it for enjoyment or when they need a strong flute player to help the others figure out the music. Flute is second best, Saxophone will always be my first love. O smile ( Ive been playing flute for 4 years.)

Appalachian state has an awesome flute program. you should check the website out. I'm not sure how much they have, but the flute choir's awesome.
