Dani looks at Batrias, taking a step back and tensing, "So you're here as well. You got anymore bright ideas old man?"

"Bright ideas?" Batrias says to the woman. "If I remember right, it was your attack that sent me here, not mine. Then you decided to follow after me. I didn't choose this, I didn't want this! But you forced it on me! So, before you start insulting me too much, take the time to notice what has eluded you so far. It's so obvious, you pernicious person! One end of the tunnel has attached itself to you!"

Alaric reached out and touched the tunnel.... and dissappeared..... and reappeared.... and whe he reappeared he looked frazzled, and quickly hugged Kaylyn.
"I'm very, very glad I remember little of what I just went through..... all I really remember is I was in the future and you weren;t there."
He was shaken, and in what to dani appeared to be an outfit that once belonged to Sage......
(This is how I plop Alaric into the present time, hehe!)

Dani raises an eyebrow at Alaric, as Kaylyn is too busy holding Alaric.
"You look like you were in my mom's time," Dani says, "this is weird. As for you Batrias...I'll deal with you at a later date."

Dani looks Alaric up and down again, then look at Kaylyn. The two Wildcats look at each other, as if feeling more than seeing the other.

He shook his head.
"Anyway, suffice to say I know too much abotu what eventually happens and can we go now?"
He slid his arm back around Kaylyn, holding her close.
"I'd like to start official bodyguard duties- I got a message from the Wildcats- ather intecepted one meant for sage-chan, and well, they want Kaylyn-hime to have a bodyguard. So that's me, because unlike about anyone else they'd put there, I know she's a Warrior. and a lady."

Dani shruggs, "Well, I saw my mother, and she has no idea who I am, so I guess this really is the past. And since I'm a Wildcat, I'll stake out with you guys for the time being."
Kaylyn wrapps an arm around Alaric's waist, "Part of me wants to know what you were told, then again, part of me would rather not know. We will keep going, but I will ask more of you and this new Wildcat later."

Alaric nods, visibly comforted by Kaylyn's proximity, as Shadowsage speaks up.
"We had best get moving. It won;t be easy, not by far. We are going to need to plan aheaad- and much as several of us would like to hurry up and get this over with, we need to try and take this as cautiously as possible."
Again, alaric nodded, but looked at Kaylyn for her approval as well- he respected her too much not to want her opinion.

"Begining plan is simple," Kaylyn says, "we stay together as long as we can. The new Wildcat, she stays with you Shadowsage. I'll keep Alaric with me for now. The rest will stick together if things get rough"

Everyone c0nverned nodded as the groups split up.
Alaric pulled Kaylyn into a quiet space with him, and held her close in a sudden tight hug.
"This isn't going to be easy."
