Gendis seethed with anger and hatred upon seeing the white daggers. Star Destroyers had that effect, ever since he had been captured. However, apparently, his head was still with him. "3, sir? That's a little... There's 60 or 64 turbolasers, sir, I don't think taking out 3 will be worth the effort..." He rolled and shot at some ties, then passed through them. His lasers ran out and had to recharge before he could do any damage; all power was to his engines and shields. He weaved out of some dangerously close turbolaser fire and laser blasts, then pulled away as best he could. "I sugest distance, sir. At a good range, the turbos can't hit us accurately, and we'll be out of reach of laser cannons and... ah, s**t...missiles..." He ignored the comm for a while, instead attempting to dodge Ties, lasers, turbolasers, and 2 cuncussion missiles that headed for him

((3 per three in the flight on one battery? I think thatd disable it at least in the games it did_))

KEfka banked right and rolled left zapping two or three TIEs on the way. He got some distance, and danced his Y-WIng away from the incoming turbolaser fire. Hopefully, the squzad would be disabling at least some of this fire. He set his sights on a few TIEs and locked on, firing the Ion Cannon at them.

((Sorry about the absence, hectic week as things are just picking up for swiming in CA. And 3 out of 64 for 3 star destroyers? not even worth tring unless you have an armada waiting in the wings.))
"Sir, I'm with 9 we should bug out while we have the chance those ISD's are still droping ties and sticking around for a sluging match would probably get most of us ki...." As Artemis was talking he suddenly realized that he was heading strait for a bunch of dupes who all had trageting locks on him. thats not good. No, thats very bad!. Sweriving to the side Artemis prepared for them to fire and when they did he jucked to thright in an atempt to lose them. OF course what he failed to see was the turbolaser blast from the ISD below him. AS the screen on the moniter went black Artemis cursed "Sithspit. Damn if that was real that indisenion would have left me as free floating space dust. Steping out he poped Hype out of his slot and headed over the the benchs under the holoscreen to wait for the rest of the squad.

"Well, guys, I've been running some numbers, and this planet has a lot of stars nearby. The only viable hyperspace exit point is - on the other side of the Star Destroyers," Logar announced grimly. "We can run the blockade, or we can take the long way around. Either way, we'll burn a lot of fuel. I'd prefer the option with the smaller chance of death, personally. But in these Hutt-speed Y-wings, their eyeballs will catch us no matter where we go."

As the rest of the squad was getting out of thier Sims Artemis walked over to Kefka. "Ok, that was a bad situation and I would like to know why you didn't inform us of that little twist? If that had been real you would have been down a squadmember, maby more if it hadn't been for some quick thinking and even quicker flying! Plus you had all that time to think of a tactic and the best you could come up with wa..." Seeing the look on Kefka's face Artemis stumbled. He was going to chew him out for that whole tactic with the lasers, but the look on kefka's face confussed him. "You did program this in...right?"

Gendis seemed almost furious. "I think the lesson was that the people in charge are trying to get us killed. We don't have time to second-guess each other out there. We need to have the right orders the first time. It's ridiculous that we should have to argue over com. with three Star Destroyers breathing down our necks."

"Oh, some of us were. Unfortunately, those who instinctively knew what to do were told otherwise by those giving the orders." He slammed his fist on one of the sim units. "What, exactly, are we supposed to do then? When we can't trust the people leading us into battle?"
