Midare blinked as the ... dragon? ... it must be ... hovered in front of Micoi. She could hear it? talking. "Why are you looking for Nadil?" she suddenly asked, impulsively. Then she flushed slightly at interrupting, but didn't apologize. Wasn't Nadil the bad guy in the stories? Why would a dragon be looking for him?

The small dragon looked at Midare and then around. "Well, Midare... the old youkai Lord was the previous Knight of Wind, if I'm not totally wrong. And he... ate the Hayate." "He is, he did." The confirmation sounded somewhat hurried, as if the dragon was in a hurry to do something else. "Forgive me, your highness, but I want to go search for my Knight." Having faced Midare Micoi snapped around to look at the dragon as it suddenly shot up into the air and began a swift flight away. "No! Please stay and listen to me Hayate!" The small dragon, however, was already out of hearing.

Midare stared after the dragon for a moment after it flew off, then something it had said suddenly clicked in her mind. "Wait ... what did it mean, 'your highness'?" she asked, turning to look back at Micoi. "Who are you, really?"

The dragon froze.
"That there is the Dragon Queen to be, the Dragon Eyes are her proof." A calm voice spoke up from behind them.
Slowly turning around, Micoi gave a nod. "I... thank you, Kanak." It was easier to have it heard than say it herself. She could go to Dusis, of course, but then again, she...

Midare jumped slightly when Kanak spoke up from behind her. But she refused to act afraid and just looked at them both. "If you're the Dragon Queen ... why are you here?" she asked.

"I... haven't just..." She let out a soft but somewhat heavy sigh, it might be hard to explain toone who even hated youkai a little. "Kanak found me when I had just been orphaned by an attack upon my travling party, most probably by youkai he says. He took care of me, raised me. I've bee living with him for 103 years now and during all these years nothing has been heard from the West. While I grew up we figured that they would come and get me... but then we just ended up waiting for them to come. And, well..."
"Now we just wait and see what happens. But if nothing has happened by the time Micoi turns 200 years we're going over to Dusis, to ask if they want Riwa-sama or not." Kanak smirked lightly, his spear in one hand and a sheathed sword in the other.

"But ... but why are you just waiting around here?" she asked. "How do you even know the dragons know you're alive, much less where to look for you?" She glanced over at Kanak ... what if he knew all this and was keeping her here for some reason?
"You should go to them ... you know where the Dragon Castle is, right?"

"O-of course I do, I've known it for decades. It's just..."
"Micoi, you're going after the dragon, right? This matter can as well wait to afterwards. That little wisp is going straight for Kainaldia, I suggest we get a move on. Or will you go after it yourself?" The youkai interrupted, but if he had done it because Midare hit home with her questions or because of some other reason was unknown.
"I'll go after him." She smiled with a nod before walk up to him.
"Here then, Riwa-sama, you'll be needing this." The youkai said with a smile as he held up the sword. "But you'll go change first, I wouldn't trust you to Kainaldia in just cloth." Kanak placed a light kiss on the dragon's forehead as she walked up to him.
Smiling, Micoi placed an equally light kiss onto his lips. "I will. You'll be all right with waiting here, Midare? I'll be quick."
((Riwa-sama is in the youkai tongue and means princess. ^^))

Midare just sort of ... stood there, half in shock at what she had just seen. I mean ... yes, Micoi had said that Kanak raised her, but ... she hadn't really believed she loved him. Even loved him as a child could love a father. That just ... wasn't supposed to happen between Dragons and Youkai. She blinked a few times, staring at where Micoi had left the room.

Kanak's laughter probably pulled, roughly too, the faerie from her stare. "What? You look as if the Dragon Queen just kissed a youkai." He said, half joking... since it was true. "Don't be too surprised. We've lived together for over a century and she isn't exactly a faerie. She's a dragon and has been a teenager once. And if you wonder, no, she isn't a virgin. That was her 100th birthday present." He said calmly, as if it was the most usual thing in the world. "We have a relationship somewhat of a mix between father and daughter, brother and sister and very old friends." He smirked at her.
((=o Oh noes!!11!! The Queen is tainted! XDDDDD *kidding*))

This, of course, only caused her to stare more ... still not speaking. This ... this was ... her mind was having problems comprehending it ><. It didn't MATTER that she wasn't a faerie, Dragons and Youkai were NOT supposed to have relationships like that >< And it was something she really could have gone without ever knowing...

Kanak's smirk very quickly turned into laughter as he watched the Spirit Tribe member, the youkai, obviously, thought her reaction hilarious. "You poor thing." He grinned as his laughter resided to chuckles. "Did you think she would go a virgin for 2 centuries? We don't exactly live close to anyone else and let me tell you that it was she who wanted to try it. We just gave the Dragon Tribe a chance to come find her before it happened. Which they didn't, and if 100 years have gone I'm not the one to deny her what she wants."

"But ... you .... she ..." Midare stuttered, finally having found her voice. She forced herself to calm down a bit so she didn't sound so much like a child. "You still should have gone to the Dragon Castle. Long before now." Her tone clearly indicated who's fault she though THAT was.

Tenjou couldnt help herself but to blink. was that a wave of magic? She stood and moved her hand in a circular motion, soon a tail of white magic following it as a large white orb came from within the white swirls. She grapsed the orb and reached her hand within it and pulled out that small odd glow orb from before. It now held a picture, as if engraved into it. From her knowledge of which her grandfather wrote, those looked like the youkai wind sword and, oddly, the youkai/dragon wind armour. "Why has this suddenly shown in the orb?"
Of course, Nadil in his mysteriousness, failed to mention why the items where within the orb. She turned it around, exmaining it further and found a different image on the back, a picture of a dragon flapping its wings. "Hayate?" Yes, that was the wind dragon. She curiously wondered who had the dragon rock, and why it wasnt in Nadil's castle, after all, it was prevously his dragon.
But then she noticed something, the scenary around Hayate was moving, but she couldn't see enough of the surroundings to know where he was. Tenjou just smirked and laughed. "Ha ha! The old dolt was good for something..." A Malicious smirk soon came over her lips.

Kanak just smirked at her. "Maybe I didn't feel like it. I like my little Riwa-sama. Well... speak of the youkai Lord..." He turned half away from Midare to look towards the temple and sure enough, Micoi was on her way out of it and jogging towards them.
The dragon was wearing what looked like a very light armor, wrist guards reaching almost all the way up to the elbows. A corset like piece cover from her waist and up over her stomach and chest up to the throat where it was fastened almost like a collar around it. On her upper arms an about three inches wide piece of metal held a makeshift bellsleeve in place, leaving her shoulders bare. From her waist a little more than mid-thigh long skirt, cut up so that it looked like it was made of many, large petals, fell down from beneath the armor. On the sides of her thighs two plates of metal was fastened to protect her upper legs, she also wore knee-high boots. The armor's metal, all of it, almost looked like a spider net, thick, golden threads crawling over the whole thing and in-between the threads an odd, aqua blue metal lay. Her sapphire hair was braided and the braid itself had been swirled into a knot on the head with a remaining part of the braid reaching to the end of her shoulder blades. "All set to go. Thank you." She said as she took the sword.
"All except..." Kanak said before leaning over, Micoi closing her eyes, and placing a kiss on her forehead. When the dragon opened her eyes again her orbs were a dark purple instead. "There. Perfect."
