Amory burst out of the last room she had searched, scanning the loosely bunched Nightmares and Daydreams with narrowed eyes. Where was Thian? She was so done with all of this, and as soon as she found him, she was going to—
The chimera's boot caught on a low, heavy box as she continued to advance, and she fell forward with a surprised grunt. More cans, this time full of soup. It wasn't the way she had envisioned herself helping, but she supposed it was better than nothing. Once she had brought the cans to Ava, Amory made her way over to Thian, looking at him with surprise in her eyes as he took her hand.
"Are you feeling okay?" she asked, shaking her head when he smirked back.

Gaius was actually attentive as new information was provided for them. He was surprised by what they were told, though... so something was attacking. Others had gotten inflected by the unknown threat.... The calm hallow kept his usual laidback appearance, but internally his mind was churning with ideas as to what could be causing all these problems. Scientifically breaking down the situation, he got caught up and distracted by his thoughts, causing him to be delayed in helping out, as well as realizing he was being spoken to.
But when he did, he and his plethora of familiars all turned to the grimm, "Ah, yes. That'd be the best thing to do." he confirmed, aiming his chill grin to her. Finally starting to move, he casually glanced around to the others around them. So many were starting to get nervous and anxious... understandably so...
Geyser Eelborn Gaius will be sure to notice your bab once you reply! <3

Survivors. A critical word, one that changed the implication of the sentence entirely. And one that caused Ruby's stomach to twist up in a knot. But she turned to Rica, face calm and smooth as an undisturbed pool, a smirk playing on her lips. "Now they're making us do slave labor, setting up to host for some unluckies, huh?" But regardless of her sarcastic quips, she set to work on gathering supplies for the newcomers, traipsing across the school quietly with her baseball bat and her new acquaintance as she considered the gravity of the situation they were currently in. Things always seemed so happy here in Below - even when changes occurred, they always seemed to be positive. New races showed up out of the blue, and there might be an adjustment period, but they always would up being happy. She heard whispers around her about who the perpetrators might be, describing their appearance or preferred type of combat. They had attacked the safehouse, the university. Nerves tensed up inside Ruby as she thought about where they might be coming next - could it be here? What if that was the goal, to drive all of the residents of Below together, get them in one place for one singular attack?
As she scooped up a large bundle of blankets in her arms to take back to the auditorium, hiding a shudder in her movement. "Do you think the survivors are okay?" she said to Rica, voice barely above a whisper, barely audible.

Hiroshi wasn't a teenager, that was something that had passed for him what seemed a lifetime ago. However, he knew that he could help just as well as a teenager could, so he volunteered himself to help as best he could. He was oddly a little touched when he saw how many people were willing to help perfect strangers in this time of need. He just hoped it would be enough.Everyone/Anyone Feel free to interact with Hiroshi!

He couldn't help but feel a little bit anxious. Who knew what was out there and rather the other people were safe or not, he hoped it was nothing serious, despite all the threats that had been happening during this time. He felt a knot in his stomach, not wanting to think about people who were less fortunate than he had been during this, who could seriously hurt people like this?Everyone/Anyone Feel free to interact with Hiroshi!

Hiroshi continued to scour the area, looking through many different boxes, though he was having very little luck in finding anything useful. He hoped there were others having better luck than he had been. He really didn't want the others to go hungry.

Hiroshi wasn't the type to give up, but it felt more and more like he wasn't going to find something that someone else hadn't already gathered at this point. Still, he kept telling himself that he had to do better, that he had to help somehow. He finally came across a few boxes and was happy when he noticed they contained some non-perishable food. Finally, success!

Xanthe wasn't very successful in finding a group to help. The first few she'd went to were pretty large and doing quite well on their own. The naga rattled her tail in consternation and looked around. She didn't really know what to do or how she could be of help. Perhaps there was something she could do in a different room? Maybe a room that no one had found yet? Xanthe slithered out of the room, looking to contribute. She found a group in the next room and headed to one of them. "Pardon, do you need a hand?" Xanthe asked. She got a polite, but frightened, no thank you. Xanthe knew they weren't frightened of her, just scared in general, but it seemed like most were splitting into groups they already knew. Xanthe moved on.

Xanthe slithered through the halls, but the naga found nothing she could help out with. Surely there was something she could do, someone she could help, but it was beginning to look like a lost cause. Was she really going to be the only one not contributing? Xanthe ran her hand through her hair, at a loss. Her stomach hurt so bad, the other students weren't the only ones scared out of their minds. All Xanthe really wanted to do was find a dark corner and hide...or go 'guard' the freshlings...safely.

She dithered in the hallway before another senior bumped into her back. He was dragging a ton of boards down the hallway. "Ooops, sorry, I'm taking up most of the hallway." Xanthe backed up a bit before the other senior grunted and asked if she could help instead of wandering away. "Oh, right! Of course!" Xanthe slithered to the other end of the group of boards and picked them up. Xanthe helped carry the boards to a previously unseen room. The naga got to work right away, picking up boards and handing them off. She and the group they had joined boarded up all the windows they could, trying their hardest to reinforce the blockade they had just created. As an extra deterrent to whatever was coming, they boarded up the door on their way out as well.

x xEirian had been making bracelets for others without any real worry. They enjoyed sliding beads together in random colors, often matching them with the styles of those around them. As per usual Eirian hadn't really made any friends but nor had they made enemies. Then came the call for the students' attention. The announcement of an attack and survivors inbound. Eirian could feel their blood rush through their body. They had never really felt fear even when they were a freshling being picked off for their third eye. At least then they knew death was never on the table. Eirian was quick to pick up the duties of an adult. They proved to be useful and thus they continued to board up what they could.

Wow, Yihad wasn't good at this at all. Somansh had seemingly done the senior task with ease, but hu couldn't seem to get it done! The pressure of what was happening was finally starting to overtake hus thoughts, tears forms from time to time as hu tried to complete the task at hand. Why was this so hard for hum?

x xRoshan hugged the plushie from Lawven to their chest with their left hand while the other craddled the one from Yuta. "These are both so wonderful." Their gaze shifted from their new plushies to their new friends. It was hard to tell which they appreciated more. No, actually it wasn't. It was the friends. They were so thankful to finally have some. They would have to make sure to find out where they would find these two later, after this was all over... It also made Roshan realize they should pay more attention to magical studies so they can save their plushies from the wear of time. The announcement came suddenly and it quieted the sounds of laughter and joyous talk. Roshan's tendrils turned almost translucent as they otherwise visibly paled. As the words sunk in, they found themselves being ushered into a group with all the other freshlings. Many of which were crying or panicking. Not that Roshan wasn't. They were just doing it quietly. The hybrid hardly noticed were they were headed. It didn't help that Roshan was squeezed in among so many and they were rather short. All they new was that they were now in a cold and dark tunnel following a light. They hoped that things would be okay at the end. Magician Arcana I'm not sure if you're still around to RP here, or if Lawven would still keep with Roshan, but if she would... Sorry if I kept you waiting if you were. ashes to the wind Same goes with Yuta. Sorry if you were waiting for me to reply before posting.

x xIt seemed every time Eirian finished with one window, another one needed more wood or nails. It was a bit frustrating to flit around so much, but they knew it was important. They had to help protect all the other children from whatever was coming. Quote: Let me know if this isn't allowed now.

x xAfter handing over a hammer to another senior, Eirian was told to take a break. It seemed many of the doors and windows were nearly boarded up at this point and with so many running and flying around, it was starting to get too chaotic. Eirian wondered if they should head towards the bunker but, to be honest, they had no idea where that would be. They guessed it would be best to wait out of the way for one of the teachers to announce what to do next. Yushika The next part hadn't been announced so I assumed I could still roll for the prize. It's okay if I missed out and you have to ignore this. ^w^b
