Parox bounced along, an excited grin spread across her lips. Parties and love were two things she absolutely adored, so it was only natural she attended Hunter's Jubilee. She had brushed her hair to feather soft perfection, painted her fingernails a lovely red to match her hair and donned a little black dress accented with a red heart belt. Her eyes flickered about relentlessly as she searched for her favorite companion. She hoped she could steal her away for a little while. It was a time of love. And she wanted to spend it with her love. She briefly stopped at a game booth and tried to win a quick present. Unfortunately, luck wasn't on her side this time.

Charnel still hadn’t graduated and it was starting to really get her down. She wanted to graduate already, so she could finally start helping the people who needed it. She sighed and brushed her bangs out of her face. She wondered if Castus had decided to come to the festival, after all. She had asked him earlier but he had said that he would rather fly around somewhere else. She looked around the booths and stopped when she found one that interested her. She should get him something... She didn't know when but along the way a blue nezubat decided to perch atop her hair. She chuckled softly. It was such a pretty color.

Eros walked alongside his caretaker, letting out repeated ‘oohs’ and ‘awes' as he took in the festival. This was his first Hunter’s Jubilee and everything was sooo cool! He grinned up at his caretaker. “Are you gonna meet anyone here?” Eros chirped curiously. His caretaker shook their head gently. “No. I’m just here to show you the Hunter’s Jubilee, little one.” Eros giggled and squeezed their hand with a bright smile. Their caretaker tugged them gently towards a booth with a ring toss game. Eros let out a gasp of amazement and he eagerly approached the booth. He didn't do weel enough to get a plushie but the attendant gave him some chocolate as a participation prize.

"Well, not really, to be honest." Kara answered the question first, glancing around at the crowd. "I drug Odessa out here to make sure she got some fresh air and some fun. Her aunt's really been on her about finals.." She added, grabbing Odessa's arm so she couldn't get away. "I really think we need to make this as fun for her as possible, what do you say?"

Mytrax hadn't been doing much except browsing, debating on whether she should get a certain hybrid something from the event. She was currently debating on getting him a book or one of the stones and ignoring the coatl's hiss of warning when she felt someone run into her with considerable force. The booth's table absorbed most of the impact as she was pushed forward, though the chimera did drop both book and stone onto the booth table (thankfully not damaging either) as a result.

But when she turned around to see who it was that knocked her forward, it was concern on her face. Finding out it was a younger chimera made Mytrax all the more worried, "I'm fine, it's quite alright. These festivals can get quite crowded." She offered a hand as well, just in case, "Are you alright?" After all, she wasn't the one who ended up on the ground.

Yawning, the chimera continued to wander around the venue, unabashed to show just how bored she was. Sure there were games and prizes were being given out but Verve wasn't having much luck in the games. Oh not for a lack of trying, because Verve wasn't half-assing her attempts, but she tried her hand at shooting hoops and ended up missing every single one. Then she tried to play with darts, and not only did she fail to hit the target but the dart board entirely. But rather than apologize or lose her temper, she simply lowered her shuttershades from her head to over her eyes and wordlessly walked away.

Charmstar had stormed away in a huff and was doing everything in his power not to stomp around in a pseudo tantrum (not because it wasn't something you shouldn't do but because, well, he was thinking of his image and how immature that would make him look, even if he wanted to rail at anything and everything in general.) In the end, he stopped by a booth selling candies and chocolates, both of which made him forget his health-conscious rules, and was about to buy some when he sniffed a lovely floral scent. Over on the next booth were bouquets of flowers.

He felt a little calmer for it so he drifted towards the flowers and purchased the pink bouquet. He was pleased to learn about the never-wilt charm, which made it obvious who he was going to give it to.

"Then how about we make our way more into the festivities?" He asked, motioning down the pathway before them ", There is plenty we can do. How about we try out a few games and then get some food?" As he began to make his way down the path, leading Kara and Odessa to one of the booths, he once again found himself having something rubbing up against his leg ", Again?!" He looked down to see a Flitterat, not at all startled by the Coatl on his arm as he and his familiar looked down at it ", It seems familiars just like me. This happened last time too. Do you two see any reason for these familiars liking me so much?"

Taking it upon themselves to try out another booth, Yihad decided to try a small trivia game. It seemed simple enough. Whoever answered the most questions correctly in that round won a prize. This round was on science, Yihad quickly answering every question before anyone else could even think upon it. By the end hu had managed to answer 8 of the 10 questions, all 8 hu answered being correct. For hus domination this round, hu won humself a plushie.

Taking a break from the games to keep her sanity, she hid away from everyone outside, sitting on a bench and watching the wild life around them. While everyone was inside having fun or whatever else they were doing, she was enjoying the life outside, relaxing in its calmness in this world quickly growing with more nightmares and daydreams by the day. It seemed life was easier before the academy let everyone in from the above, but she knew it was for the better over all.











Jacintha ( 18 )

Coming to a game where you picked a rubber duck from a pond to see if you won a prize, Jacintha was quick to jump on the band wagon to win some of the candy she saw. After one or two tries, she finally managed to get a prize, raspberry flavored chocolate!

Vivek ( 12 )

While he was searching for food, Vivek found himself being gifted brownies. After thanking the stranger, he became to wonder if his familiars could eat these brownies. Maybe one of the librarians he had been seeing around could tell him what his familiars needed to eat?




Ziron ( 10 )

Apparently someone saw that Ziron looked concerned, the stranger handing them a ring and told them that everything would be alright before the stranger walked off. Were they right? Would Ziron be a good parent after all? Well, the future wasn't set in stone so maybe they would be a good parent for who was to come!








Coralie ( 20 )

With her new familiar resting nicely in her sweater to remain warm, Coralie made her way back to some of the booths, coming across a stand that was selling these plastic arrows. As she admired (and questioned herself why someone would want a plastic arrow) the item for sale, she was told that one gave these to someone as a sign of adoration. That might come in handy later at the speed dating she had signed up for. If things worked out, she could give them this!




Aqua'glow ( 10 )

The nixie shook her head no ", Actually, it is quite comforting to have a guardian or parental figure with them the first few times. If you know how to swim or are willing to learn alone side them, then the freshling is more willing to try because they know that you feel it is safe. The first few times is always the scariest, so having that parent or special caretaker with helps them feel less scared. However, it you are just sitting on the sidelines watching, then it is a problem. That is because they begin to feel like they are being forced into learning to swim and you don't want any part of it."

Another one of her freshling students came by and handed her a fluorite stone, her thanking them quickly before the little one ran off ", Also, it is okay if you can't come. That is where I come in. Part of my job as a swimming instructor is to gain the young one's trust. That way they know it is safe and that they can trust me that this will be an experience they will either have fun with or get a lot out of for the future."
