Sanele saw that Saraf was badly hit.. or at least the young oban fussing over him and being a little spitfire was certain of it. When there was a lull after Simba dispatched his opponent, she dashed towards them, and called out; "If you need to get to the healers tents, take Simba! He's a racer and can get you there fast." She saw a way to keep her xaraan from getting too hurt; use him to get the wounded off the field! Why didn't I offer this earlier, that way I could have avoided these cutsand he wouldn't be threatened....

Callum 13
Every step that Callum made was counter-acted by the large women around them. They were older than the two hybrids, and more experienced, so it didn't surprise Callum when his attacks were dodged. He was pissed, however, when one had the gall to laugh at him. Without thinking he bent down, picked up a handful of dirt and chucked it at her eyes.
She reeled back with a string of curses. It wouldn't hurt her, but hopefully the irritation would teach her a lesson! It brought him some relief when he heard Talisia's whip crack onto flesh, but he couldn't take his eyes off the opponents around him. This fight was a swirling mass of colorful bodies, clashing metals, and free falling spells. Callum was moving around as quickly as he could, but he was slowing. The wounds coupled with his general lack of battle experience was tiring him out.

Alassiel swung her trident around twirling with it and smacking the Alkidike right off her feet with a strike to her abdomen. With that, Alassiel plunged the trident into the Alkidike and finished her off. Whether she died or not from the wound, Alassiel did not know since she’d already moved on to her next target. No time to fiddle with wounded opponents anyway when there were so many that were still healthy and running around killing her people. It was easy to find another tall woman, this one with a bow and Alassiel moved away just in time as another arrow flew to find another target.

0 damage to the Alk Mob.Karothdra felt pathetic, her leg was slowing her down far too much and she couldn’t get a single hit on the other woman. Granted, the Alkidike couldn’t hit her either after her initial hit so perhaps it wasn’t all that bad. But when the Oban woman said they could sue her mount to remove themselves from battle, Karothdra did just that. She needed to see a healer and get patched up so she could actually move after this. She wasn’t too pleased with the outcome, she’d come here to fight and it hadn’t gone her way at all. Karothdra was not happy.

For now, though, he was striking out at the mobs of Alkidikes, finding that his work with animals had helped to hone his aim and skills with a whip. These weren't animals, though, they were people, but the adrenaline was working to overwhelm the horror bubbling in his gut at the smell of so much blood.

For now Ichil was amongst the civilian soldiers, firing bolts into the enemy masses from a distance. She pulled back and let an arrow fly, giving a shout as it did. This was madness!

The sound was sharp, high, and humiliating, and Serr answered the attack that had caused it with a strike of his own that sent the Alkidike stumbling. Still struggling to reach the one with the fire arrows, the thief's attacks grew more frenzied as he advanced. He didn't even notice the spear that sliced his side until he fell, his legs liquid with exhaustion.

Nyiim targeted one of them, aiming for her torso and letting the arrow fly. It struck, and he calmly loaded another arrow before drawing back and aiming again.

She fired another bolt, biceps growing sore.

One had to remain calm in battle, although soon he would need to either enter the fray properly to retrieve arrows or run to the tents on their base.

It had begun. The wounded were pouring in, some more grievously than others. Those clinging to life needed her help more than those returning to battle (even the non-healers could wrap a bandage) but she was having difficulty balancing her time. On the more badly wounded men and women she was using magic, stemming bloodflow and kick-starting the healing process. On those returning to battle she simply applied pressure and potions or salves. Splitting the time between using her powers and using her hands was saving some energy, but she was still fatiguing. Her mother Namora stood nearby, helping delegate new assistants to tasks.
"I need more bandages!" she shouted into the crowd, hoping someone would hear. She was perspiring heavily. Please, Thorn, please be okay. She hadn't seen him come in yet, so that was either very good or very, very bad. There was no time to worry now. She had lives to save and wounds to stitch.

As it turned out, Vuka was not especially well-made for battle. Fighting with knives was so close and intimate that his lack of skill had cost him. The young Shifter had come to the healing tent with an arrow protruding from his shoulder, not to mention a nice gash on his leg. He had been forced to retreat and limp to the healing tents. Where was his father? His brothers and sisters? Were they still fighting? He wished them luck.
He had only yelled a little when they yanked out the arrow and stitched his wound, and the bleeding had been quelled to the point that he was sure he could help. His gait was more of a painful hobble now than anything reasonable but he had taken something for the pain and was now helping pull in more badly-wounded soldiers and where ever the healers needed him. At the moment he was taking part in the former, worrying his painful leg for the sake of the others as he and another young man supported a wounded warrior.
It was horrible. All of it was horrible. He couldn't really wrap his mind around what was happening as if his own mind was protecting him from reality. How had the world come to this?
