There it was, Dragonite, the original Dragon Pokemon. The Pokemon towered over the fairy however any dragon attack would have no effect against her so even though she took damage from the slam she blasted two moonbeam blasts to knock the giant down.

Walking towards a clearing where Noivern could easily take him to another place he pulled out the Pokenav to see where he could find one of the fossils he was missing. It looked like he was going to Oreburgh City in Sinnoh to find an armor fossil, one of the few he was missing. With Noivern out he heard someone coming up behind him. "Hey Simon, I see you have a Noivern," called out Ryan who Simon remembered as having his own. How about a quick one on one before you leave?" Simon smiled and nodded, "Sounds like a plan."

Taking a few steps back Simon ordered Noivern to get in front of him as Ryan ran across sending his own Noivern out as well. Considering that Simon's Noivern was a higher level he shouted for Noivern to start things out with his newest attack Hurricane. Flapping his wings fast and hard he whipped up high speed winds crashing the hurricane tunnel into Ryan's Noivern. Shaking it off Ryan's Noivern used Tailwind to catch up to Simon's speed.

Flying in Ryan's Noivern sunk his fangs into Simon's cutting his HP in half. Shaking free Simon's Noivern darted back firing off a super effected and powered up by dragon fang Dragon Pulse the blue blast cut across the air sending Ryan's Pokemon crashing into the ground. Pulling itself up Noivern shook himself off before hovering back in the air using another Tailwind to try to get first strike against Simon's Noivern.

Ryan's Noivern had boosted its speed enough to fire off his own dragon pulse. It was super effective but not as boosted as Simon's who took the hit to make sure he too could get off a more powerful Dragon Pulse. Since his was boosted a bit more it sent Ryan's Noivern crashing back. This time he wasn't getting up though. "Return Noivern," Ryan said as Simon returned his as well, healing him up. "Great job Ryan.""Thanks, I'm going to heal him up then head home, maybe I'll see you around some time." Simon shook his hand and they parted.

Heading over the boardwalk, especially the healing tent, Simon watched as the workers were indeed putting things away. There were a few Pokemon helping out as well from Mr. Mime using psychic to lift the arcade machines to Machop using their strength to move heavy things around. Giving Noivern's Pokeball to Nurse Joy he got him healed up so that they could easily fly to Sinnoh.

On his way back over to the clearing Simon sent Noivern out. When he flapped his wings he revealed another fossil. Brushing it off the Pokenav described it as the Root Fossil. Putting it away he told Noivern the destination and while they were in the air he looked back down at the chain of islands. Next year he might strive for more but for now he released the seven tickets into the wild hoping they found their way to someone who needed them. With that they left the islands.
