"Somehow, I don't think that's going to happen today," Mercy said, frowning. Riko wasn't in top condition by any means, while Shiva was injured, but still in fighting shape. The lock clicked, and Mercy crawled into the cell, over to Riko. After undoing the clasp on the vampire's chains, Mercy sat on her knees and pulled off her T-shirt, revealing her black sports bra. She handed the shirt to Riko, then took a moment to look around, reassess the situation. They needed to move quickly. "Maybe we should split up..." She gave Riko another once-over, thinking maybe, just maybe, she needed to get Riko out of there first, then look for Siobahn and Delorna. She began working on the lock on the collar around Riko's neck.

 "I didn't say that it absolutely had to happen right now, but I'm not as messed up as you think, get this color off of me, and give me a minute and I promise you I will be ready to tear the roof off of this hell hole." Riko assured, rubbing at her wrist as Mercy undid the chains, they felt sore, but definitely much better now that they were unbound. She gladly took Mercy's shirt, while it didn't cover much, it helped her at least feign some semblance of modesty. "Also, I veto your plan. I think we both remember what happened the last time one of us decided to act solo." Riko said sarcastically

Mercy was half-tempted to leave the collar on as she gave Riko a look that said, For real? You wanna go there? Whether because she was tired and black and blue or because the guilt still hurt, Mercy's reaction was strong, and she said angrily, in hushed tones, <******** you, Riko. I don't remember you helping me break us out just now." Finishing on the collar's lock, Mercy placed the accessory quietly on the ground and turned away from Riko. She walked to the block's entrance and pressed herself against the wall, trying to see through the door's small window without being noticed. "Take your minute, but make it quick. They'll be back soon."

Riko used to wall to drag herself to her feet shakily, her knees knocking together like a newborn doe she knew if she had to really rely on her own strength in this very moment that she would be dead without a question, but that's what friends are for right? To help you when you can't help yourself? Riko stumbled over to Mercy and leaned on her heavily. "Don't be so mad, all in the past right. Anyway." Riko pressed her forehead into the side of Mercy's head, and pushed, causing the girl to expose more of her neck. "Swear I'm not getting addicted, and I usually don't feed so rapidly, but I'm going to need another donation from you." Riko whispered, and didn't exactly wait as she took what she needed from Mercy, being a friend this time and not biting too deeply or too roughly. "minute's done. Shall we?" Riko asked, managing to stand a lot steadier now.

When Riko started leaning against her, Mercy put her arm around the vampire's weight to offer support. She didn't realize what Riko wanted, however, until "donations" were mentioned. Mercy winced as the fangs pierced her skin--even if Riko was being gentler, it still hurt like a b***h. As Riko pulled away, Mercy placed a hand over the marks on her neck, feeling them out, trying to stop the bloodflow. "Okay, let's get out of here."
Glancing through the window again, she noticed that there were two werewolves, but also that one of them was leaving and the other had his back turned to her. Good. She cracked the door open silently, trying to use the exiting wolf's footsteps as cover for the slight creaking of the hinges. When there was only one guard left, Mercy snuck out, then pulled the man into a chokehold until he passed out. She dragged his body back into the room of cells and laid him to rest behind the bars that had once been her own. "I saw a door next to this one," she told Riko as she began searching the man for anything useful. "It might lead to more cells. See if Delorna and Siobahn are there."

Riko wondered why she hadn't thought to wait just a little bit before feeding, but she couldn't have known that Mercy would end up in the position to knock out another wolf and drag his body so close, she would have fed off of him, but still, she was confident that Mercy had a better taste, and her body was used to her roommates blood more so than this random b*****d's so that was fine and dandy. Riko was already feeling the energy, a little bit of a thrill sparking in her stomach, there was something naughty about her feeding on wolf blood again, especially so quickly. Two days in a row. She sword that she wasn't getting addicted, but it wouldn't be crazy to suggest that maybe she was enjoying it a bit much. Riko was already eyeing the wolf when Mercy suggested she check the cell room, nodding the Vampire began to move but paused. "Don't get any bold ideas." She warned before slipping into the door. This was definitely another holding area, the walls lined with cells doors, she began peaking through each window, until she spotted a familiar figure laying prone on the floor. "Delorna!" She whispered harshly, trying to get the succubus' attention. Delorna groaned and shifted, Riko grinned happy she was alive. Riko looked around at the other cells, she could smell Siobahn, so that was also good. "Hey, over here!" Delorna turned to her slowly, eyes focussing on the window. "Riko?" She asked, unsure. "Yea, its me, I've come to get you out, do you know where you sister is?"(so I wrote this post on the 17th but it didn't post, so this is my second shot at it. lol)

Mercy was suddenly conscious of the way Riko was eyeing her, eyeing the unconscious wolf on the floor. Something was... off. But she didn't have time to question it--not that she had really planned to--before Riko checked out the cells next door. On the body Mercy had dragged in, she found a switchblade, but nothing else of interest. For a guard, he hadn't been very prepared. Mercy walked into Delorna's holding area just as the succubus was explaining about her sister, and she got to work on unlocking her door.
Delorna shook her head groggily and rubbed her eyes. "She was here... I think," she said, clearly having difficulty remembering. She looked like she had been drugged. "Then they... took her?" Frowning, Delorna searched her brain for the answer, for the memory that would reveal her sister's location. Nothing. "I think she pissed them off. Told them stuff they didn't want to hear." A snort. "Typical."
Once Mercy had opened the door, she stepped in to help Delorna up. "Are you okay to walk?" she asked.
"You're not leaving me here, if that's what you're asking," Delorna said flatly.
As Delorna managed to stand on her own, Mercy put up her hands in surrender. "Alright. Let's go, then." After checking to make sure that the room was safe, Mercy exited the hall and looked around. Only one other door that led to another hall, and along it were many doors. No one was around--yet. Mercy stepped into this new hall quietly, carefully, remaining ever alert. "Do you smell her?" Mercy asked Riko. She sniffed the air, trying to pick up Siobahn's scent. A succubus should stick out like a needle in a haystack here, right? But she was having trouble. She didn't smell Elle, either. At all. s**t.

"I did in there, but now not so much. Kind of hard to pick her out clearly with all this other s**t in the air." Riko said, sounding a bit frustrated. She didn't like that they had taken Siobahn away, because the memory was still fresh in her head from when she and Mercy had been dragged out under an hour ago. They'd had the s**t kicked out of them. Siobahn was tough, but she wasn't that tough, and she was blind on top of it. Even with her powers Riko didn't like how vulnerable it made her. It pissed her off to think that these damn dogs could be somewhere right now trying to take advantage of her. "We have to find her." Riko said coldly. She was shaking a bit. From the extra energy or from the anger it was generally unclear. "If they hurt her...." Riko's blood began to boil.

(Definitely keep forgetting Siobahn is blind... thanks for the reminder.)
It was weird to see Riko like this--protective, ready to rip someone's throat out in order to save a woman she cared about. Mercy had seen glimpses of this reaction with Elle, but never before Elle came along, never with anyone else. "Okay, okay, take a deep breath," Mercy said, placing a hand on Riko's shoulder. They needed to keep calm heads in order to get out of here, in order to stay alert. Although, Mercy had to admit that this was awfully easy... One guard? Really? Not even a patrol? "We'll find her. Just keep moving." Delorna tensed, as well, as she thought about where Siobahn could be, but she tried her best to focus on finding her.
Mercy continued down the hallway, her body bent over in order to remain unseen through some of the doors' windows. As she approached each door, she placed her ear against it, trying to hear inside. According to her ears and nose, they were all empty, except maybe a stray wolf here or there. Then--was that a hint of succubus scent she caught in the air? She paused a moment, looking around. It was the end of the hallway. She smelled wolves, too, which made sense. "I think we found her," she said, but she was clearly uncertain. Reaching the door, Mercy gripped the handle and looked back at Riko and Delorna to mouth a silent countdown. One... two... three... Mercy opened the door, slowly at first. A figure in the middle of the room, alone. Mercy blinked, trying to tell in the dim lighting who it was, and opened the door a little wider.

(You aren't the only one, I myself went back to check) "Right. Calm." Riko said slowly, turning away for a second, and taking a deep breath, she just had to remain confident that Siobahn would remain safe, she didn't think they would kill her out right, they'd want her to suffer, or perhaps have their own separate little trial for her, or something, anything that would prolong her life, it didn't matter to Riko as long as they had time to find her. Riko swore to whatever god may truly exist out there that if Siobahn wasn't breathing when they found her, Riko would bring this building down around them all. Riko followed behind Mercy and Delorna keeping her mouth shut, speaking about anything else might cause her to lose her cool again, and she knew better, there was no underestimating the value of staying calm in this moment, no matter how hard doing so was in practice, especially when Mercy announced that she thought that she had pinpointed Siobahn's location. Riko tensed when the wolf opened the door slowly before them, she leaned over a bit trying to peak at the silhouetted figure in the room, but she couldn't make out any features, she ready herself to spring into action, when suddenly the door was ripped violently open, and with the swiftness of an Assassin, someone's hand shot forward and gripped the side of Mercy's neck, but before any more action could be taken, a voice spoke up. "Lucky I can recognize a comrade even without my sight, or you might be joining the wolves in their little nap, Mercy."

If Siobahn hadn't spoken, she might have been joining the wolves' nap, too. Her senses on high alert, Mercy was about to rip off the hand gripping her throat, but, recognizing it was Siobahn, she somehow managed to calm down in time. <********> she breathed, the adrenaline pumping through her. Annoyed, she removed Siobahn's hand and rubbed the skin it had marked.
Delorna, meanwhile, relieved to see her sister alive, embraced the older woman.
"We don't have much time," Siobahn spoke quickly, gravely, lips pressed in a thin line. "They've probably gone to your cells to collect you for the trial. They'll know you've escaped."
"Have you seen Elle?" Mercy questioned.
"No. I don't think she's here, but she can't be too far. She hasn't been gone long."

Riko breathed a small sigh of relief when Siobahn revealed herself to be alive and well. She couldn't believe how much weight seemed to be lifted right off her shoulders when she heard the woman's voice, but she didn't react other than the lifting of her tense muscles to Siobahns' reveal. They weren't out of the woods yet, they were still in the belly of the enemies base, and they still had a member of their family missing. No, there was no time for resting easy. "I can't even pick up her scent, I haven't been able to smell her since we've been her." Riko said, straining to try and pick up anything, but still finding herself unable too. "If you have an idea, you have to lead, I can't be of much use at the moment."

Even if Riko was playing it cool, Siobahn could feel the weight rolling off of her as the relief set in. Internally, she smiled, but externally, she nodded in recognition of Riko's current limitations. "Let's find a way out."
After silently voicing her agreement, Mercy walked back toward the hallway they had come from and opened the door. Only now their path was blocked by none other than Shiva and several other members of the pack, ready for a fight. They had gone to the holding cells to retrieve Mercy, Delorna, and Riko, and realizing they were gone, they had quickly followed the women's scents here. Mercy swore under her breath, and Shiva grinned. "You can't leave now," she said, approaching them slowly. "The trial is just about to begin."
Mercy quickly turned to Riko, Delorna, and Siobahn and motioned that the four of them needed to head for the door at the back of the room, but suddenly it opened and more wolves piled in, surrounding the group. Mercy, enraged, turned to Shiva. "Where'd you take Elle?" she demanded.
"Who?"
"The baby, Shiva! Where's the baby?!"
Shiva seemed confused about why Mercy would bother asking, given her and her friends' current situation. "She's none of your concern now... but she's far from here, in her new, well-guarded home." Shiva motioned for the werewolves to close in, and they followed the given order, moving to restrain Siobahn, Delorna, Riko, and Mercy.

Riko growled under her breath and prepared herself too attack, if she was going to die anyway, might as well be here fighting, and witht he four of them she knew that there was no way that they would be going down alone. But before they she could act. Siobahn placed a hand on her shoulder. Stopping her in her tracks. The blind woman smiled at her and shook her head calmly. Dissauding Riko from doing what she wanted to do. The vampire gnashed her teeth, but crossed her arms, deciding to take Siobahn's lead and keep herself from doing anything too bold, but she wasn't a real fan of this plan. "How are your eyes? Healing nicely?" Riko asked suddenly, a grin slowly touching her features. "I bet you pack really respects you after I single-handedly caused you to call for a retreat." She added tauntingly.

Shiva's expression immediately began warping into a scowl, and her body stiffened, leaned forward, as if she might pounce. But she remembered that she was in the company of her pack, of other packs, and she was supposed to be the leader her. So, she clenched her fists instead and drew in a slow, deep breath. She turned and exited the hallway, leaving her pack mates to restrain the prisoners and bring them to the trial room.
Two werewolves grabbed hold of each of the women while another one tied together the prisoners' hands with zip ties. After the women were effectively restrained, they were escorted into a large, dark room, with one golden light hanging in the middle and illuminating a moderate-sized portion of the floor. One by one, Siobahn, Delorna, Riko, and Mercy were shoved toward the lamp and forced onto their knees. Mercy immediately became aware of how many eyes were looking at her; this room held many more werewolves, and she couldn't help wondering how many of them actually cared about this trial as much as Shiva did. The spectators surrounded the prisoners in a large circle. A few werewolves stood closer to the women, acting as guards.
Shiva emerged from the crowd, a grin once again on her face. She hummed with a sick satisfaction. "I've been waiting for this day," she mused. She walked over to Riko and lifted her chin; although she couldn't really see the vampire, she could smell her, and that was enough. "Finally, you'll get what you deserve." She turned her head to Mercy and withdrew from Riko to stand in front of the kneeling wolf. "Both of you," she added, drawing a finger lazily down Mercy's face. As it reached her lips, Mercy tried to bite it, but Shiva pulled away quickly, her grin spreading wider, as if it was a game.
Sighing contentedly, she stood erect and paced in front of the four women before stopping in front of Mercy again. "Mercy, you've been charged with kidnapping, treason, dishonesty, attempted murder, and four counts of successful murder, including the cold-blooded murder of the previous Alpha, Leigh," she said, with a little more authority now. "How do you plead?"
Ugh. What an exhaustive list. "Not guilty by reason of insanity," Mercy said flatly.
"So... guilty, then," Shiva said, not terribly amused. Stepping toward Siobahn and Delorna, Shiva announced, "Siobahn and Delorna. You are both charged with accessory to kidnapping. How do you plead?"
"Does it matter?" Delorna asked tiredly.
"Another guilty plea." Shiva finally walked to Riko. "Riko, you are being charged with attempted murder and kidnapping. How do you plead?"
