Ruji was slow to follow now in thought, "what is... awkward?" He looked up the tree. "Could this be a way out? perhaps just a trick? Or does this tree somehow have something to do with your life. Pehaps one you slept in once upon a time and fell from or something. Maybe got a bad injury from, or more so?" Was he teasing now, or just trying to be amusing. There was no telling, he had that same confussed, but serious look on his face as always. However he was thrilled to know that he was liked fondly aswell....what he didn't understand however, is why he felt a hard warm feeling in his stomach and heart area when he spoke earlier. He had no a clue, this was a new thing to him. He would deffenlty have to finish that book he was reading, it had good pointers and knolage within.

Evelyn laughed and shrugged. "I don't know, but that looks kind of promising doesn't it?" She pointed down into the bulk of the roots where there was an opening which shone a pale purple colour, almost looking like a portal. "I guess this will bring us to the next section of the limbo. Hopefully the challenge is somewhere in there." She nodded and looked up at the large tree again. "And believe it or not I actually did sleep in one of these for a small portion of my life growing up. I was on the streets a lot as a kid, so to sleep I would go to the outskirts and slept in a hollow tree." She smiled back to him. "Awkward means 'causing or feeling uneasy embarrassment or inconvenience'." She walked up to the portal. "Com'on. I'm eager to get out of here."

*Ruji blinked in more confusion, "so by being around me you were uneasy? that doesn't sound like a good thing to me." He was vary confused on the matter but let it go as he started to climb, right beside her at the same pace. "When I was on my own I would sleep aginst the trunks of these trees. I felt anyone coule come at you from any direction, but a tree stands for the symbol of life itself. Without it there would be no breathable air, and without such a thing live cannot be for most Cercumstances. It made me feel safer in those times I do belive. However I never had need to climb one..."

Evelyn laughed as she shifted into her cat form and easily scaled the tree. "These trees grow preeeetty high." As the two would have made their way through the portal, they would appear in a place with high walls and thin hallways. However the sky was still open to the nothingness with the same purple dull colour. "I meant awkward in the way that it was uneasy because I didn't know how you felt." She looked to him. "You get me?" She walked over to one of the walls and traced her hand across it. "Great. This looks like a maze." She began to walk and disappeared around one of the corners. "Yup. A maze."

Ruji followed her and went around the same corner, "so you are saying that by not understanding the way I thought about you, made you uneasy, therefor I should have... said something sooner to make you less ackword?" He was still confused and nodded, "the sysmbol of the fear of getting lost or sperated from those you are with now." He took her hand, "It is best we keep close, and not let go of one another, else we could be seprated. Mazes often have traps, and trickery. We shall tred carfully, if this takes forever, so be it. We have nothing better to do while we are here anyways." He was keeping the calm basicly, and by doing so, he was also giving facts to remind evelyn so that in any of these she was destracted on either him, or the task of getting out, not the challenge. And so far, it had helped twice.

Evelyn shrugged. "Kind of. It's hard to understand. I mean I don't even understand it myself, so it's hard to explain." She however looked down at their connected hands and smiled a little. "I have too many bad experiences with mazes." She sighed and looked onwards. "I don't even know what we're looking for. A way out, an enemy or what." She nodded. "Who even knows. She'll try to separate us though, to make me more accepting of this reality. No matter how imaginary things are, they're still very physical to us here. We will feel pain if things happen."

ruji nodded, " then we will take our time and go one step at a time. mazes are only to make one panic, to feel lost. if you dont let it bother you no matter how long you take, then soonet or later your find a way out. sure we can feel pain, thete ate things to challange us. but have some faith. if not in fate to lead you then in me when you start to feel lost. no matter if were seprated or not, faith will bring us back again. it alteady had once." he started to take lead starting in the maze leading her along.

Evelyn snickered a little. "I'm not a child, Ruji." She nodded. "I know my way around these things." She smiled and lead them around another few corners. Despite the detrimental situation they were in she was in a surprisingly good mood. A mood which she would never in a thousand years let Shortstraw and Kiera see. No, she wouldn't want them thinking that she'd gone all soft. Nor anyone else for that matter. But Ruji felt safe. As Evelyn lead them around another corner they came to the centre of the maze, which had a small little purple garden in the middle surrounded by what it looked to be old giant teeth arranged in a circle around it. Evelyn frowned. "What?" She walked up and put her hand on the grass. "This can't be it. It's a dead end."

*Ruji glared, "it looks like a summoind circle to me... or perhaps a sysmbol for something." He started to walk around the spot in though, "perhaps something again from your past this could represent?" He looked up to her, "this is no dead end I belive, but rather what we may be looking for."

Evelyn frowned. "I don't know..." She shook her head. "I don't remember anything like this... I'm not sure what its supposed to represent." She looked down. "Although, it seems a lot like-" Her words were suddenly cut off as the circle began to rumble and shake, Evelyn's eyes widened and suddenly the circle of teeth snapped shut, trapping Evelyn and Ruji inside the mouth of whatever had devoured them. "s**t!" Evelyn cussed, getting her balance back in the depths of the creatures stomach. "s**t s**t s**t." The floor was fleshy and it was dark until Evelyn spawned a torch of her demon fire on her hand, illuminating everything in a faint purple colour. "Our luck just isn't that great today." She remarked with a sigh.

ruji shied, " ah nothing like being swollowed whole by a large ceeature of some kind. brings back a few memorys if being within massive demens that tought they were unbeatable after they ate you." he looked to evylun, " are you alright?" he started to look around, " i used to blow up the insides of my enemys to excape or use shimigami to erratate the insides of the creature till theres nothing left within." he rose a brow, " does this perhaps reorasent a fear of being eaten? i figured it to be the other way around."

Evelyn frowned as she looked around. "More like a fear of being swallowed by darkness. I guess Aeron took that a little too literally." She sighed. "The maze and this wasn't here last time though. Things must have changed a lot." She attempted to slice her hand through the flesh however it only bounced back. "Huh?" She tried again and the outcome was no different. "It's like hard metal or something. I don't know."

ruji nodded, " i understand the situation now. the fear not just to be swollowed by datkness, but to be traped within it with no way out." he actully gave her a little smile befire getting serioys again, " renenber when we fuat the prince? you were afrade to be you. you were afrade beinf you trtly woykd bring horrable thi ngs however, remember what i told you then? same princable, and in tge end you were yourself as a light as we faced that darkness and the devils. yoy may have been recreated by darkness evlyn," he put a hand on her shoulder " but your actully a light, you just never noticed and clung to the thoughts the darkness decended you from." he nodded, " there is no where mentally or phyicly you cannot become that light yoyve become. and just in case, im here behind you to make sure with a torch in hand and a sword in the other."

Evelyn stopped a moment to smile at him and nodded slowly. "Thanks, Ruji." She laughed a little. "Is it possible that I could be the only 'good' demon out there?" She grinned and shook her head. "Maybe if you saw what I used to be like, you may not be saying those words." She looked down. "Although that reminds me, we defeated a prince why can't we get one a powerful demon? Surely the princes have to be more powerful." She sighed. "But I suppose we faced the prince in direct combat. This isn't so direct." She looked up at where some small strands of light came through the teeth and her eyes thinned. "Since the flesh isn't all that destroyable, the teeth is our next best bet."
((I think I have kidney stones ;____; I have to go to the doctors tomorrow to make sure what that is but yeah I might not be on very much. Well either that or I'll be on a lot xD Depends on what it is. But I'm in pain ;__________; ))
