"Are they always like that?" Lily asks Lael. "It wouldn't surprise me. Nathan does have a strange sense of humor in that way. You get used to it after a while."

Westley, after sleeping for a few minutes, finds himself stuck in a dream that he is not comfortable with.
Sam and Westley are found sitting together on a bench, on a fall day. The tawny haired teen sighs.
"Westley, what's wrong? You've been sighing all evening."
"Nothing's wrong," he says.
"Wrong. You've been like this whole weekend... You're hiding something, aren't you?"
He pauses and tenses up before saying, "Nothing's wrong and I'm not hiding anything."

((OOC: ....and though Mr.Ownage is active, he still hasn't posted? xp Just giving him a hard time.))
After a bit, Sam takes Westley's hand and brings him into her house. He releases her hand and goes to sit down at the dining room table.
She sighs, but says nothing.
He then says, as he sits, "I am not hiding anything. How many times do I have to tell you that?"
Sam shakes her head, coming closer to him, "Then why don't you seem to like me as much as you say? You said that you love me but still you get nervous if I get too close."
Noticing her closer and hearing her words, he sighs.

Sam narrows her eyes and advances closer to Westley.
"You're different than other guys, Westley. Why is that?"
He turns away and winces, feeling his claws starting to itch. 'Oh please no!!! Not now.'
"Westley, I'd like an answer."
The tawny haired being stands up and says, "Please, don't. Don't come closer."

Lael laughs. "Well, you two certainly are!" she says.
((Sorry I haven't been on for a few days. My computer died (It's working again now. We aren't sure what happened. It kinda fixed itself.) and I was using my mom's old one and I just forgot. Plus, I haven't been on Gaia to much the past few days so... Yeah.))

Sam comes closer, probing for the answer about why Westley is so different. He feels an itch grow from his claws and he fears the worse. However, he notices that he cannot leave her presence, as she has blocked him in.
"Why can't we just leave it alone?"
"Westley, you've said at times that you'd love to take me. Why don't you? We are close enough to do so, since we're going to be getting married eventually."
"Get away from me."
She frowns and says, "No. I want you and I want you to take me."
He starts to fret about his claws, knowing that she is closer than he wants her to be and that she will not move. She has already cornered him and he starts to feel defensive. No way is he going to be able to get out of this unless she backed-off or unless he told her about his claws....
She sits on his lap and, time slowing, he reacts naturally - a cornered cat. His claws extend from his hands as he pushes her away, the claws digging right through her chest. Her breath leaves her quickly and quietly as she asks him why he did such a thing, using solely her facial expressions.
Westley wakes up, choking and wishing to leave this thought behind. He sweats as he curls up, seated on the bed. His tail curls around him while he closes his eyes.
'Why must she come back to me time and time again? I love her but she just wouldn't let me be! ...Sam!'

"You know Lael," Nathan says. "You really are lucky. Lily almost never jokes around with people she just met. I remember she was nervous as hell when she first met me."

The teen gets out of bed and starts to pace the floor. His footsteps are soft but still, to the keenest ears, they can be heard.
"Sam.... Why?"

"I think it'd take some doing to convince her of that." Nathan says. Hearing Westley's footsteps he looks up, towrds the floor above. "I guess he's awake."
