Talos Stormwinds vs Gigantos

Gigantos Difficulty: Easy

User Image

The Gigantos watched as its attack was reduced, smoke curling from the hold in its palm before it clenched it protectively into a fist. Slowly, it raised its other hand in a mirror of its first attack. The bright yellow light in its palm began to charge. It was preparing a bigger blast than usual. The hail and lightening had shredded its second layer of skin but underneath it was simply a third layer. The beast had certainly been created to take an enormous amount of punishment. Despite the fact that two layers of thick, leather-like skin hung from it in tatters and that what little of its nervous system had been wracked by lightening it still hung together incredibly well. Though of course it was somewhat hard to tell the damage considering the fact that the Gigantos seemed not to react regardless of what Talos threw at it.

Trey adam's vs
Infernus "Fooey"

Infernus Difficulty: Above Average

User Image

Infernus raised his head weakly as Trey approached him. "Yes...I do believe I am," he told the boy. "I'm proud of you. You did extremely well. And congratulations on your new form." Infernus shifted slightly but didn't manage to get up. "Remember not to abuse your strength, but use it for good. Though I suppose I probably don't have to tell you that." He laid back on the ground. "You are certainly an above-average student," He added.

Fight request
Hope Bishop vs
Amaya Tsukiko

Amaya Tsukiko Difficulty: Hard

User Image

Amaya walked into the arena calmly, taking deep, focused breaths. She closed her eyes as she waited for her opponent to arrive, practicing the techniques she had been taught to prepare for a fight. She was already in a fighting stance even before her opponent showed up. She would not be caught off-guard. Inwardly she was calm and collected. It was one of her major strengths in a fight: her ability to calmly analyze any situation, regardless of how surprising or dangerous it may be. As soon as she stepped into the arena she was ready for all comers. She opened her eyes after a moment, staring at the other side of the arena where her opponent would arrive. She didn't know who it was, only a name. But whoever that name belonged to was going down.

Abilities:
+Moon strike: Amaya can summon a bright silver sword to attack her opponents with. This sword has all the properties of a normal sword except that it leaves a bright silver burn mark on the wound where it hits. This causes extra damage. The sword can be used a few times before it fades and Amaya must summon another one.

+Shining Crescent: Amaya summons her silver sword and jumps into the air, tucking herself into a ball as she extends her sword outward, tumbling over and over in the air. The sword extends to 8 feet in length and spins with her. Anyone hit by the extended sword will suffer heavy damage. She can spin horizontally or vertically

+Night Rain: Amaya focuses her resonance force into a black ball and launches it up into the air. Once it has reached 50 or 60 feet it explodes, sending a shower of black rain down on the battlefield and her opponent for several minutes. Getting hit by a drop of rain is like getting hit by acid and causes extreme burning to the opponent. This can wear down shields and auras over time.

+Midnight Silence: Amaya waves her hand in the air and dark resonance force gathers in the air above the battlefield and extends like a cloud covering. While under this resonance force, the opponent's strength is sapped and their attacks against Amaya and any of her allies do less damage than they normally would.

+Black Ocean: Amaya places her hand on the ground and a wave of black resonance force extends towards her opponent like the ocean tide. If an opponent is caught in the wave they will be dealt massive damage and feel like they're on fire. The wave can extend up to 8 feet in the air.

+Astral Projection: Amaya points her index finger in the air. Immediately bright white lights shoot out of her finger like a sparkler and shoot straight up into the sky. These lights will hover above the battlefield and wait for an opportunity. When an opponent's guard is down or they're otherwise vulnerable, one or more of the lights will turn into a bright lance of energy, and extend downwards from the sky to impale Amaya's opponent. Whether or not they hit, they will retract back up into the sky to wait for another opportunity. These lances work independently and don't need Amaya to take any further action or focus on them once she has shot them into the air.

+Starlight: When Midnight Silence and Astral Projection are in effect simultaneously the points of bright light will begin to connect, forming constellations. Each constellation formed gives Amaya a bonus to speed, strength, stamina or dexterity. The bonus is random and not controlled by Amaya, but she is aware of it as soon as it takes effect. The opponent will not know what bonus she has gotten until they see her use it. A constellation will form every three posts, starting from the post that Amaya combines Midnight Silence and Astral Projection. The maximum number of constellations that can form is five.

+Luna Crusher: Once all five constellations are formed from Amaya's Starlight ability, Amaya can create a small ball of silver light and launch it into the air. Over the course of 5 posts (starting the post after Amaya launches the ball) the silver light will grow larger and brighter until by the fifth post it is about the size of a house. On the sixth post, Amaya can bring the ball of light crashing into the ground. This causes a massive explosion of resonance force that is almost unavoidable and will cause massive damage to an opponent if hit. Amaya and her allies are not hurt by this attack.

Hard - These opponents are very experienced and talented fighters. They are somewhere between graduate level and Death Scythe level in strength. Unless you are a Death Scythe or otherwise extremely strong, your chances of winning one-on-one are possible, but slim. You should strongly consider bringing a partner/ally to this fight.

It had been a while since the kitsune had a match, thus he was eager to test just how much had he improved with his training.
"Okay, let's do this... who's going down first?"
He asked defiant and confident on his skills as a gigantic beast would bump out of nowhere into the arena. Volpeo would rise his eyes to try and meet those of his opponent. But it's head was to high, and his eyes were blindad by some sort of helmet. None the less the kitsune grinned.
"Well well well, I guess we have our first volunteer of the day"
Said the kitsune, stretching his legs one last time before running into fray with his newly arrived foe.

Gigantos Difficulty: Easy

User Image

The grounds of the arena shook as a large beast plodded onto the battlefield. Its arms were held down with heavy chains but the Gigantos was clearly eager for action. It let out a roar that could rattle ones bones, pulling at the thick iron chains that barely held it back from going on a rampage. It had been released and taken to the arena on request from a student and now it had come, waiting for its challenger to arrive. The beast did not know why it was here nor did it care. The only thing on its mind was violence. It was the only thing that was ever on its mind. And it was ready to speak its mind to the first one brave enough to step into the ring.

Sorry! I've been so busy setting up the arc! And what's that??

Gigantos Difficulty: Easy

User Image

The Gigantos roared as it saw Volpeo step into the ring, pulling on the chains until they were straining to hold him back. Whoever was controlling the chains seemed to hear Volpeo and obliged. Suddenly the chains attached to his wrists disconnected, falling to the ground with an ear-piercing *clang!*. The massive beast wasted no time, lurching forward as soon as it felt the chains fall away. The ground shook as it picked up speed, barreling towards Volpeo in an attempt to crush him underfoot. For such a big creature the Gigantos moved surprisingly fast, closing the distance between itself and Volpeo in a matter of seconds.

it's okay it happens ;w;
ohoh firstly my quest here is to defeat everyone in the special sparring arena.

Secondly. I really never justified how would Melani get over the grief of loosing her former meister.
So I was kinda thinking she felt into depression, enough to even try it on a Gigantos by herself.
And so, Carmen casually passes by and senses the death wish on the redhead.
She remembers her from the hot springs so she interferes with the match.
So Melani was mad. And was blinded by her despair that she turns on rampage.
So Carmen had no other option but to beat some sense into her. Before she crosses the line of no return.
I named this quest :
"It takes a mended heart to heal a broken one."
Since well they both lost someone important to them. Obviously, we can't say they feel the same pain,
but Carmen should be able to understand to one extent her feelings. Since she probably went through the
same facets of depression. Of course, that's only if you are up to it XD

The kitsune's eyes widened just to witness how fast the gigantic beast was.
                          " Holly macaroni! "
Stated the kitsune as the distance between them severed in seconds. Good thing he was made to fast combat
or he would had seen himself in deep trouble. Volpeo would step forward, just enough to be set behind Gigantos's fists,
taking the strength of impact as an impulse to propel himself with a drop kick against the beast's knee in an attempt to
make it loose balance while testing the waters.

Gigantos Difficulty: Easy

The Gigantos barely even wobbled as Volpeo drop kicked his knee. The beast was pure muscle and to Volpeo it would probably feel like drop kicking a brick wall. However, the Gigantos was unable to stop its momentum as it sped pas Volpeo, slamming straight into the arena wall with an earth-shaking slam. For a moment it almost seemed stuck in the wall before it suddenly straightened up, the rubble of the wall falling down off of it like heavy water. It turned again to face Volpeo, walking towards him slower this time. As it reached him it clenched both its fists together in one massive metal hammer, raising them above his head before bringing them straight down towards the kitsune, attempting to crush him into the ground like an egg.

My bad then. Don't mind me. Maybe when the mini arc is over? Until then, you are very busy.

Volpeo would stretch his legs just a little to shake that numb sensation he got after kicking the gigantos.
"Well that wasn't what I've expected."
The kitsune replied to himself, petting his robes to push the dust away from them as the beast was turning against him
once again. The beast however, seemed to reduce its speed to adjust to prevent a second clash against the wall.
                          "Aren't you the clever one?"
Volpeo would dash once more against the creature, just as soon as he raised his arms to hammer him down. There was no
point in running away, the safest spot was between his legs as it was anatomically impossible to hit him against the ground
in said position. Even less if he got himself behind one of his legs.
"I wonder if you'll be of any use for me at this rate."
Volpeo pondered while examining the beast's anatomy.

No, I like your idea actually. I'm down with it. The arc probably won't be over for a while. We can do it whenever you're good for it, but my posting will be a little slow

Gigantos Difficulty: Easy

User Image

The Gigantos's fists slammed straight into the ground with an earthshaking crunch, rocking the arena and sending shards of rock and clumps of dirt in every direction. The beast stopped a moment, seeming slightly confused as to where Volpeo went before it realized the kitsune had gone under him. It looked down, leering at Volpeo before bending down slightly and reaching out wiht one massive, gauntleted hand to try and grab him. If successful, he would attempt to crush Volpeo like crumpled paper in his hand. The beast was clearly stupid but very large. It's muscles were like bands of steel and the armored parts of its body were even stronger; attacking those areas would be useless. The Gigantos was much slower than Volpeo for obvious reasons and the helmet covering its head partially obscured its eyes, making it difficult to see. There were, of course, other weaknesses that weren't visible to the naked eye.
