Evan trailed dutifully after Sasha and the others towards the welcome and familiar sound of a chopper landing nearby, relaxing a bit as he realized that it was one of theirs. He was relieved to see that Jerry and that other kid seemed to be relatively unharmed after their strange disappearance the previous day. The tension returned, however, once the Mist told them that they had been missing for almost a month instead of the nearly 24 hours they had been here. How long was I out for? Evan wondered. /This many hours!/ Gir answered unhelpfully. Clearly this place was even stranger than Sasha had let on. He couldn't just leave her there, especially now that it looked like they were going to be down two teammates. "I think I'll stay, Ma'am," Evan replied to Sasha. "Mission's not over yet."

Sasha listened carefully to each and every word that came from the creature, both spoken and unspoken. She keenly watched its expressions change, the different tones that it used. It was curious, really. Viviane. Sasha delicately cleared her throat at the mention of her gran. "A dark man?" Sasha's voice was heavy with curiosity. She was intrigued by the knowledge and power, herself - but her first priority was getting her own body back, and then getting home. Perhaps along the way she could learn more of this dark man, this power and knowledge. "How can I help? What can I do?"

A reaper. Darkness is a thing cherished among the creeple, but this one holds a vastness that even we must fear. Its features hardened and shifted into a pensive frown, Not long ago he arrived in person, rather than as a dream. He spoke words of power the land's guardian, and left Viviane with a gift. The last was spat out with venomous contempt and resentment. The darkened room was filled with the sound of bark scraping against itself. We need to capture her and make her sleep deeply enough for you to take back what is yours. It stared down as her with grim, unforgiving eyes. Gently.ravvlet Please make the choice to leave on the copter or stay before the end of the week or I'll have to gm ur dude out ok hanging gallow Please make the choice to leave on the copter or stay before the end of the week or I'll have to gm ur dude out ok

There was no response from Matt as he stared at the man in the helicopter; an entire month had gone past? No that couldn’t be right, it had just been a whole day, if it was true then…
As much as the need to aid the division leaders took some sort of precedent Matt looked as Sasha insisted on staying. Jerry and Dylon had reappeared worse for wear and from the looks of it them leaving was the better choice for their own health and as a doctor he would have insist. Matt on the other hand was still in fine working condition, missing the taste of real coffee, but he wasn’t nearly as bad off.
“I’ll stay,” He replied biting his bottom lip as the thought of being stuck in the moor for a whole month would not be appealing. They wouldn’t, if time was off then just a few hours would be days and the whole problem at Deus would be amended. There was still plenty of hunters there and only the three to four of them aiding Sasha.
Kasi replied in a huff as Matt stood next to Evan, as far as she was concern she was the only real importance in his life all others were mere casualties.

Sasha pursed her lips and tightened her fingers around Nona - still no voice, not just yet, but the familiar weight of her weapon in her hands was of unspeakable comfort to Sasha. "I've never dealt with anything like this before. How can such a task be accomplished? And... who are you? What are you?"

Sasha's eyes stared intently at Wash, as if waiting for some... The Moon hunter wobbled for a moment and then collapsed to the ground. Eye wide and strange in her face, Sasha was quickly beside him, fingers to his pulse. "He is alive," she addressed Evan solemnly, "...but I am not sure for long he will remain so. Take him and go, see to it that he receives of the help he needs. It is an order." Her expression and voice were firm but quickly softened, a bit awkwardly, "Please."The Mist hunter didn't give him much choice, "We need to go. Help me get Mr. Deadweight into the chopper." In a matter of minutes the craft was up and off, quickly becoming a speck on the horizon. Turning to Matthew, her lips stretching wide and white against pink lips, the woman finally spoke, smug and pleased. "And so we are two."

One moment Wash was fine the next moment he was on the ground, it was best that he took off in the chopper however that left just him and Sasha. Not that he didn't think Sasha wasn't capable of fighting but with no weapon and only his fairy wand spear Matt wasn't super optimistic. "Yea just the two of us." He replied looking at Sasha and then looking around the area for some other signs of life.

Slipping her hand into her pocket, Sasha pulled out the bag with the necklace they'd found in the cottage. Removing it from the little plastic bag, she placed it around her neck, a soft sigh of relief escaping as she did so. Eyes bright, the huntress held her hand out and a staff formed in it moments later. From each end, a scythe-like blade grew, runes glowing brightly against the metal. "These odds I like much better, to be of a surety. Yes, here is Matthew, all alone now, in a place much strange and I stand before him. Will he be of use, or shall he be another sad tragedy of the terrible land?" The last was spoken with exaggerated sorrow, mockery clear in her voice.

Matt had never met Sasha at least not at Deus and did not know her personally however, something seemed wrong. It was a feeling lingering in the back of his mind that was struggling to scream into the dense mesh of his brain that he should run, get out of there, FLEE! His feet however were only able to take a few steps back as the butterfly necklace around his neck began to glow. Her voice sending a series of shivers down his back as he ripped the pendant off his neck and let the glowing light transform into a double-ended butterfly spear. “Sasha…. Is everything ok?” He asked her with a faint voice as he took a few more steps backwards trying to avoid the range of the scythe, “I mean you asked us not to draw our weapons but why now? And what happened… I thought you didn’t have your weapon?” Everything she was doing know was in contradiction to what was said earlier in her instructions had she lied to them, to Wash even? “Who are you?”

Tilting her head back with a smile, the girl smiled with a barring of teeth, "I am Viviane Delacroix. Sasha is safe, but she will need to remain here for some time. This weapon," she spun the bladed staff gracefully, "...is Lola. She is mine own, unlike Sasha's Nona. Do you understand? I performed a little switch, most cleverly and if you were to become my accomplice, things will go much more easily for her, and yourself as well."

Kasi snapped in his head as the figure chattered on. “I can’t say I am pleased to meet you Viviane,” Matt replied ignoring the voice in his head no matter how much Kasi tried to scream louder into it. “But I must ask what did you do with the real Sasha and Nona and as your so called “accomplice” what would I really be doing?” Matt had to ask, he had no idea what sort of power the being had in front of him but she spun her blade he doubted his own skill. He could fight but he would be lying if he said he had confidence in it.

"I will tell you no more of Sasha," she sneered, "...her safety is what you must content yourself with. But as my accomplice, it is quite simple. We will return to your little island and you will help me accomplish some small things and add of credence to my story. When my work is done, I will switch again with her, and all will be most perfect. I am generous, no?"

He gave the being a disgruntled look as she refused to say anything else of Sasha, at least she was still alive and safe, he hoped. "Would any of these small things involve injuring any other hunters? Or posing as them?" Matt replied as he scanned the area, maybe he could run but he doubted that he would get far before she would caught up with him and there was no were to hide. It was also very cowardly thing to do, so was the idea of going along with being an accomplice and pretending everything was ok. He let a sigh escape under his breath, this sucked.

"The former is a sad possibility, yes. And the latter," Viviane did a small spin, "...that should be much obvious."

"Then I guess I have no choice than," Matt replied as he gripped his spear with both hands, "I am sorry Viviane however I can not join you in being your accomplice, you will have to find someone else."
