The glider missed the island, and Rhryse found herself surrounded by fog despite her best efforts. Fog and cold. She was cold. She didn't like being cold, not in the least.
It was cold, and the voices didn't exactly comfort her. Some did, perhaps, but she understood none of them. It was strange, she thought. The whole thing.
Then she woke. Back where she had started, but still rather chilled.

This looked...dangerous, but not any more so than the other tasks that Ixyguin had encountered. The only problem was that she had never used a glider before--just how did this thing work?
Eying the crank, she slowly began to turn it, trying to take care just how far she wound the thing up. Hesitantly, she let go, hurrying to scramble into the glider and--
--There we go. Mission success!

Although she was nervous about flying this thing, Ixy couldn't deny how nice it felt to soar through the air like this. It was pleasantly cool, and if it were not for the fog, she was certain that it would have been a pretty nice view up here too.
...Assuming she didn't crash, that is.

When her glider suddenly dropped down by a good few feet, she swallowed nervously. Oh boy, this wasn't good.

She was getting comfortably close to the water, but...that was okay. Somehow, she was feeling pretty confident that she wouldn't drop too low before reaching wherever it was she was headed.

When she reached the edge, she took a moment to admire the view before pushing onwards...or trying, at least. The suddenly gust nearly sent her toppling back, and it was only a quick, panicked reflex that stopped her from flipping over.
This was going to be dangerous.

He dipped a bit closer to the rippling expanse below him, and this time could hear voices bubbling up from the misty depths. So many disembodied voices here ... why?? Why did it send a chill down his spine?? ...

His descent continued before dropping off at a steady clip, so near the water's surface he could almost make out the glider's reflection below. All around him, the fog settled uneasy whispers by his ear, and he was all too glad when he burst through the fog shaking slightly, but all in one piece.
