Lloyd shook his head. What was that he felt? It was, evil yet very familiar. He would have to talk to Lilith about it, but after he calmed her down. What was with her lately? She seemed off balance in many ways. The men around her parted ways with her very quickly as she sat down fuming at what transpired. "Lilith, hey, you alright? I've never seen you this angry before." He sat down next her and rest a hand on her shoulder. Hopefully he could get some answers out of her.

A single (dramatic) tear rolled down Lilith's cheek.
"I just can't believe someone would be so cruel to such a sweet innocent girl like Scarlett." She muttered, staring at the scarred wood of the bar. Working quickly the barkeep wasted not time pouring the paladin a pint of tea and putting it in front of her. "I mean he looks human enough, shouldn't he feel something for his own child?"
Swallowing her emotions, she looked up at Lloyd. "I'm sorry. All these hormones have me a bit off kilter."

"Don't worry about it, I just wanted to know what's been happening to you lately. You're not yourself lately. The world outside the Paladin's tunneled gaze isn't as pristine as you would like it be. There's a reason why Paladin's even exist, to purify impurities." He replied to Lilith, it was sad but true. "I don't think he's human anymore. Something has definitely changed about him, Lilith. I can feel it."

"Of course I haven't been myself, I'm pregnant and have been mood swinging all over the place." Lilith replied, nodding her thanks for the tea before taking a long drink and considering Lloyd's words. "I didn't sense anything demonic about him, but then again I was otherwise distracted so I could have missed it. Either way... that b*****d is in need of some 'purifying'..."

And that's when Lloyd finally understood what was going on. Pregnant, when did that happen?! "I doubt that's the last time we'll see him, he says we have unfinished business. But I must know, when did you get pregnant? Why didn't you tell me this before?"

Lilith cocked an eyebrow in Lloyd's direction. "I figured it was clear as day what was happening to me. I mean look at this belly..." She replies, juggling her plump but not quite showing belly. "I'd guess I'm at least two months along..."

Lloyd looked down, embarrassed at what he had done. A baby, especially after Scarlett was not in the plans. "I thought you were just putting on the pounds from all the cooking. And then there is your morning exercise routine. We really need to talk about this once we get home." He responded, he couldn't even believe that he was able to still talk after that revelation! Well, once Lilith was finished enjoying her tea, they would leave this pub.

Lilith lets out a rich laugh at Lloyd's comment. "I exercise like that every morning to help keep off those pounds." She admits, "Scarlett's cooking is second to none, I just can't keep away..."

Lloyd turned somewhat red. "Not all of the pounds are bad pounds, I'm liking where some of them are going." In the blood knight's opinion, the new gain in weight had more positives than negatives. What he didn't understand was how was it Lilith was able to take being pregnant so lightly? She was a paladin, and he was a cursed paladin. "Though, if you like being slim as you can, you're going to have to keep away from it."

Taking a sip of her tea to hide her smile, Lilith paused as she considered his next comment. "Its not that I like being slim, I mean I know its only a matter of time before I'm too big to continue my normal exercises or for that matter fit in my own clothes, but I must keep up part of my paladin image..."

"I think I'd give it another month or two before we really have a problem on our hands here." Lloyd looked around the pub, with everyone having parted far from them, he'd suppose it would be alright to talk about this. "Lilith, how are you staying so, I don't know, positive about all of this?"

Lilith shrugged as she continued sipping at her tea, enjoying the liquids warmth as it slid down her throat.
"Should I react different? I mean sure, some of my actions might have been frowned upon the church elders but in the sense of the greater good I feel I'm making a difference."

Lloyd tapped his fingers on counter and watched the new mother of his child. "Have you forgotten who I am, what I am? Shouldn't you be at least concerned about that much?" He asked Lilith. He made sure to pay the bartender for her.

Lilith was about to stop Lloyd as she'd already paid the man but she let it go as she figured the man would put the extra coin to good use.
"No. I haven't forgotten, but you haven't fallen as far as Mathias has so there might be hope for you yet. And of course, I'm concerned. I'm just good at hiding it."

"Thank you for the vote of confidence, I think." He smiled and rose from his seat. She still believed in him, that he wasn't like Mathias, so he was happy with that much. He was waiting for her to be finished so they could get out of the pub already. "Yeah, you're definitely good at hiding it. I think in some ways I'm happy for that, Lilith."
