Standing near the group, Ace rolled her eyes as she heard Allen mumble. Get a grip, she thought. "Why? Can't handle it?" Ace teasingly remarked at Allen. As soon as the submarine stopped, she could see a beach out there. How lovely.

Matthias let Rykter out of his Pokeball.
"I'm gonna explore the cave for Everstones."
He began to make his way to the cave.
"I assume you can all handle yourselves. I'll be on the very bottom floor. Come find me when you have fought 2-3 Pokemon from the cave. Catch one if you desire."
He disappeared into the cave. Everyone received a message via their TADS. The message included a file documenting all the species of Pokemon that resided in the cave and on each floor.

Kasumi and Ren checked to TADS message, then raced inside, where they split up, Ren and Zigzagoon going down one path, and Kasumi going down another. They didn't need to speak to communicate their plan. Catch a Pokemon and meet up on the bottom floor.

Ginji ran into the cave and headed into the darkness, Porygon lighting the way with it's bright nose. "Nice job Pory."

Matthias took a wrong turn and found himself in a dead end. With a sigh, himself and Rykter went to turn around and go another way but were then blocked by an Aron.
"Rykter, use Brick Break!"
The Charmeleon ran forward and slammed Aron hard with it's fist. It was a critical hit, and the little Pokemon fainted right away.
"... Uh... Good work?"
The two continued onward, keeping their eyes wide open for a hint of Everstones.

Entropy and Hiccup made their way into the cave, looking about into the darkness warily. “Geeze, it sure is dark in here…” Entropy muttered. “I can’t see a dag-on thing!” And as soon as she spoke, she felt something smack against the back of her head and began to fly about. After her eyes had adjusted, she could see that they had run into a wild Zubat! “Alright, Scraggy, let’s get you some training!” She said, releasing Scraggy. The battle began.

Zubat came down from the roof of the cave and bit Scraggy hard on the shoulder, but Scraggy managed to easily shrug it off. “Scraggy, use Faint Attack!” Scraggy jumped up and attacked Zubat, causing one of its wings to sputter, sending it spiraling toward the ground. It corrected itself at the last moment, though, and swooped off of the ground and toward Scraggy. It repetitively beat its wings, causing gusts (a Wing Attack) to hurtle toward Scraggy. Although Scraggy was knocked off of his feet, he managed to get up quickly. “Scraggy, Headbutt!” Scraggy launched himself forward and his skull crashed against the Zubat’s stomach. It was tired, but not out for the count quite yet. The Zubat, in a final attempt to restore itself, used leech life and sucked some of Scraggy’s energy away. “Scraggy, finish him off with Brick Break!” Scraggy brought his hand down upon Zubat, finishing it off. The Zubat fled into the cave. “Great job, Scraggy!” Entropy called, then returned the pokemon and looked onward to find the next.

After heading down a flight of stairs, Entropy was surprised to find that she hadn’t run into many pokemon so far. Soon, though, she heard a shuffling sound and saw an Aron scuttling about. “This is our chance! Hiccup, let’s catch him!” The Aron suddenly became enraged at Entropy’s statement. “W-what’s wrong?!” She asked, but before she could finish that thought, Hiccup had jumped forward and was blocking her trainer from the wrath of the scorned Aron.

“Hiccup, use Water Gun!” Hiccup jumped forward and released a stream of water from his mouth, hitting Aron right on the head. The Aron was pushed far backwards, flying through the air and into the wall before falling to the ground. Still enraged from whatever it was that Entropy had said, the Aron immediately got up and headbutted Hiccup with a vengeance, causing him to (similarly) go flying back into the other wall of the cave. “Geeze, this thing is really angry!” She knew she didn’t want to faint it, though, and another water gun would probably do just that. “Alright, Hiccup, let’s try… Bubble!” Hiccup opened his mouth and a powerful stream of bubbles were emitted, each of which popped against Aron’s shell and caused the pokemon to fall to its knees. With its last bit of strength, it flung some mud at Hiccup with a Mud Slap. It hit him square in the face, causing him to stagger backwards from discomfort and agony. A bit agitated by this, Entropy threw a pokeball at the Aron in hopes that she could spare Hiccup from some discomfort. It shook once… Twice… Three times…. Click!

“Great job, Hiccup!” Entropy beamed, picking up the Squirtle and helping him get the mud out of his eyes. “I wonder why that Aron was so mad? It seemed to only get angry when I said that he…. Ohhhh!” Entropy suddenly realized; the Aron was a girl! “Well, I always respect a tough lady,” she chuckled to herself.

Satisfied with the two battles, Hiccup and Entropy made their way back to where they were going to meet the others.

Ace made her way up to the first bottom floor. Unfortunately for her, the room was pitch black. She grabbed her tads and accessed the flashlight function, while strolling around the area. No doubt there were bound to be a bunch of Pokémon hiding. But Ace managed to see a black shadow near the surface of the rock.

"Amber" She called out as she held the poke ball in front of her. A red light emitted a shape in form of an orange puppy who smiled at her rather playfully. She then pointed at the direction where the shadow was.

"No time to play, use Ember!"

The Growlithe opened her mouth and out came small little fireballs aiming at the shadow. The Pokémon dropped as if it got hit pretty badly, but managed to fly. Unfortunately, it was not the Pokémon Ace was looking for. Out came a Zubat, who was rather angry that its sleep was disrupted. It responded using the move leech life as it rushes toward the orange puppy and bites it, draining its energy.

Luckily, Amber was not badly harmed as it proved not very effective.

"Tch. Looks like she have to kill it." She muttered bitterly that she wasted her time.

Amber looked at her owner in confusion. "Groaw?"

"I'm kidding. Use bite."

The Growlithe nodded and rushed forward to her opponent, waiting to bite the bat-like Pokémon. As it jumped, the wild Pokémon flew away, dodging the attack. Amber looked straight back and stares at her opponent. Without warning, its whole body flashed in light, confusing the poor Growlithe.

Shoot, it used confuse ray, she thought as she watched the scene in front of her. "Use bite again!"

Unfortunately, Amber was too confused to listen to her, and managed to hurt herself from the confusion. Meanwhile, her opponent dashed straight ahead and strikes her with its wings. She stumbled and fell, but managed to get up, despite still being confused.

I'll give her once more chance, and then I'm switching. "Use bite!"

Although the puppy was fairly dizzy, she managed to rush and bite the Zubat, leaving a critical hit. Defeated, the wild Pokémon collapse on the ground.

Ace took a potion out begin to spray at her Pokémon, healing any of the wounds it got from fighting the Zubat. "Good job." She said, as she returned her Pokémon back into the pokéball. "But I still need to find an Aron." She continued to walk further. She was not going to rest until she found the Pokémon she needs.
