"Grab him with your tongue and pull him in for an Ice Fang!!" Raven barked from his position on the battlefield. To deal with a Pokemon like Genn he'd need to think quickly and give his orders even faster, lest the Steelix come up with some remarkably crazy scheme of his own. Though perhaps commanding him to use his tongue again hadn't exactly been normal itself.
Opening his maw the Steelix wouldn't move to fall down upon his opponent, but rather make use of the fleshy mass of his tongue in an attempt to pull the Machoke in to his awaiting and inevitably icy maw. Just for that extra little 'push' the Steelix would reach around with his tail and attempt to poke the Machoke between the shoulder blades using the tip. Every little bit helped right?

THough the Machoke was faster as he would send the Steelix's head away. It would stop his movements as he would turn and raise all of his hands upwards as he brought them down and into the side of the pokemon with his full strength ...his goal simply to break the pokemon's segments as he aims for his joints.
There was no commands this time, simply instinct as the pokemons struck and the man would call out loudly.
"GET HIM!"
So far, nothing they had done had worked as the Machoke would once more use Karate Chop. They only needed one hit to get through, and the damage, they both knew ...would be nothing to sneeze at.

The attack would hit again, but there wasn't enough strength to hurt the pokemon ....as his tail would miss it's mark. This was a pokemon that wouldn't be knocked away easily as his eyes glowed at his opponent. He wanted to knock this pokemon into next week, but for the moment he had to simply stay on his toes.
His attack were causing no damage, and this opponent had the ability to crush him. It remind him of the wailord they challenged out at sea one time ...as his partner would yell at him.
"You need to get away from there quickly."
The man would start to literally bounce away.

Though how ...was he going to hit him as the Machoke would dance away from the attack. He would allow those dangerous jaws to snap on nothing as he would draw up his arms as he prepared to plow them into the side of the pokemon's head. He would aim to send the Steelix into the ground as he dances backwards happily ....as he would glare and narrow his eyes at his opponent.
If he had a choice he would have broken his opponent ... into two, but this pokemon was strong ...too strong ....as he would glare at his opponent strongly. He wanted to break that steel defense, but he wasn't sure at this point if it was possible.
"Tch, your pokemon is nothing but defense."
He would complain loudly as he watches the pokemon skip backwards. He would draw back his fist, two one both side and would try and slam it down again with another quick ....Karate Chop. Eventually, something ..something would have to break through and get to the heart of their opponent.

The attack would hit hard against the pokemon, but almost as if adding insult to injury ...he would find his attack missing as he aimed for what he thought would be a moving target. The attack would land against he ground instead of hitting around against the side of his opponent as he glares back over his arms at his opponents.
He would glare dangerously at him ....as the sailor would start to finger his pokeball.
Was this battle truly pointlessly fro them to fight it as the Machoke would move to avoid the next attack.

"Genn make some noise! SCREECH!" Raven ordered from the sidelines. Well if they weren't getting anywhere offensively, may as well make it sting all the more once they finally managed to punch through. Moments later Raven, and lightly a great number of other people would be clamping their hands over their ears as the Steelix began bellowing, his voice growing higher and higher until it was a piercing metallic screech, like the sound of a metal door dragging across an equally mineral floor.

The Machoke would dance away ...as the screech would make the earth shake and the ground seemingly to crumble. Though having four arms were useful as he would plug up his ears on the first sound of the screech even as he would push his feet into the earth. He would prepare himself to finally get a chance to hit back as he would aim for the neck of the tunnel snake. He would try his best to send the pokemon flying this time ...as he aimed as hard as he possibly could for his pokemon's weakness.
This was to be his full strength ...his complete attack and if this failed ...even his trainer wouldn't know what to do as he used ....once more Karate Chop.

The attack would catch the pokemon ....as the Machoke would scream out in pain. His entire body would hurt ....as he would feel his entire body vibrating in pain. This battle was going nowhere for them ...completely no where ...as he would try and defend himself again. He would try and push those teeth away from himself as he tries to spare himself some of the pain ...this entire battle was going ...completely against them as they continued to struggle.
Genn would be presented with his own struggle, namely struggling against the Machoke's mighty muscles as he attempted to sink his fangs deeper in to his opponents skin.

(Whoops my mistake)
THe pokemon would pull those jaws outwards ....as he strain against the power of that pokemon's muscles. This wasn't a battle they could win, and retreat or surrender came to mind.
THough his trainer would hold his pokeball hard in his hands.
"Not yet."
The Machoke would look at his partner as he nods.
This wasn't enough ...not yet. They weren't ready to give up as they would both press seemingly together ....as the man's grip grew tighter on the pokeball ....the Machoke's grip would tighten on the pokemon's maw as he tried to raise him upwards. A Karate Chop had been what he had been using so far, but this time ...he was going to improvise. HE was going to try and use his monsterous strength to life the pokemon and do a Karate Chop into the ground itself.
They were determine they would break though this pokemon's defense.

Raven's resound in kind, refusing to give his opponent's a single inch of ground if he could help it "Genn anchor yourself and lift him instead! Ice Fang!"
Slamming his tail against the ground once, the Steelix would then proceed to bury the end in to the concrete, wedging it their firmly before he began to rear back, attempting to lift the Machoke as it tried to do the same to him. If this succeeded he'd let gravity do the work of placing the Fighting-Type in his mouth, snapping his ice laden jaws shut in yet another Ice Fang!
