Name: Jessica Crowley

Age: 25

Sex: Female

Personality: Jessica has a very explosive personality. She has a short temper and isn't afraid to let anyone know it. In spite of her lady like demeanor, she is a ruthless cannibal who will do anything to survive, even if it means eating her allies. Jessica can be quite the flirt and loves to be fawned over. However, if someone comes in between her and her attention, jealousy gets the best of her. In short... Other females are usually the ones to taste her blade.

Appearance: Jessica

Job: Rogue Hunter

Hobbies: Killing, cooking, drinking, flirting

Skills: Jessica is skilled with a sword and can cook exceptionally well.

Theme Song: In for the Kill - La Roux

Background: Jessica's family were attacked when she was only fourteen years old. Her mom and dad were at the brink of dying from their wounds. She was oh so hungry and there was no food. After her parents passed away, she was about to give them a proper burial, before an impulsive thought crossed her mind. She cooked their meat into a stew and ate them. Very morbid, but it saved her from starving to death. Now she ventures through the ashy wasteland in search of good times and suitable meals.

Waking up from her slumber, Jessica stretched her arms and let out a yawn. Boy was she tired. As she emerged from her bed, she walked over to her vanity mirror. Jessica was beautiful and she knew it. Smiling, she let out a giggle and picked up her brush. She began to brush through her golden mane. Her hair was so soft, illuminated such a rich glow, and it was just as pretty as she was. Once she was done, she adjusted her frilled collar and slid her hands down her side as she swiveled her hips. "I look good." She narcissisticly declared.

Jessica went into the living room and snatched up her sword. It was time to see who wanted to play today. As she was leaving her home, she locked the door and stuffed the key into one of her boots. Her house wasn't great, but it was better than most. Not to mention she had stuff in there she didn't want anyone to steal. Her bed to name one. As she journeyed through the ash, she stumbled upon a rusted over tank. "Oh?" She spied with her little eye a boy with blond hair, but why was he standing next to a tank? Jessica put two and two together and figured the contents of the tank must of had valuables. She wouldn't mind jewels and other luxurious findings. Time to put the charm on.

"Hello." She greeted as she neared closer to the boy, but left a good amount of distance between the two. "You better be careful just standing out into the open." She paused looking him up and down. "Someone just might come along and steal you away." She batted her eyes and tapped her fingers along the hilt of her sword.

"Second-guessing is bad for your health."User Image

~Thomas Jones~

Thomas stared in awe at the young mans chivalry towards others, something he seemed to lack a bit of. Thomas took note that as something he would like to change about himself. Mole's smile, even though it was small, surprised the older male. Watching him remove his sunglasses to reveal his (In Thomas' opinion) soulful eyes, then plop down on the somewhat dirty floor. He was actually getting along with him. Thomas' shoulders slumped replying with a puppy like pout to the other (just because he was older doesn't mean he had to act like it!)"Wha!? How...how can you not have tried cake!?He paused. Well no wonder he hasn't had any, his living situation never allowed it."Well that will have change I will show you how to make cakes! I find making pineapple-upside-down cake the funnest, though finding pineapples if hard. It could be a bonding experience for us!"

Thomas hummed in response to the explanation he received from the other male. the rumbling purr Mole carried in his voice was quite relaxing and most certainly pleasant, not annoying like Carl's was. Curious about the dark haired males random movements he straightened up in his chair watching as he silently walked towards the exit moving about rather quickly when the door opened and was slammed shut, voice was heard, a shot was fired worrying Thomas, then silence as Mole returned rather calmly back to him."Very nice."was his only comment towards the act, but his face showed how impressed he really was.

"Then I'll just have to keep in good contact with Mouse, you seem rather congenial. As you said though you are trying to be such, I give you an A+!" Thomas proceeded to laughed at his own bad joke for a few minutes before continuing the conversation." What happened to your friend for him to be losing all that blood? I am most certain you would, is that an offer? Not being clumsy like them would be a god-sent."After witnessing Mole smile once more Thomas decided it should be something that happens more often. It would probably make other people more comfortable around him as well, if only they saw that sweet smile of his. "Fifteen huh? We may have to go into a neighboring building and clean it up so that it's more livable, but that's not that big of a problem. With your people and mine working together, I'm sure we could make a rather nice dome like thing to grow your plants and shelter the animals from all the ash. You'll also have to teach us a thing or two in how to take care of them. Also if ya don't mind I'd like to go with you to meet your people, while sending these two back to make the appropriate accommodations for them." Thomas inquired smiling again and looking fondly at Mole.

After you...
I don't know what I believe in.

Finishing the last of the can of beans, Laya wiped her mouth with the end of her sleeve. It was a tad bit unsanitary, but who was keeping track of someone else's hygiene anyways? She set the can next to Ned, in case he wanted some of the juice, and gently ran her fingers along his head. "I love you." She said as she walked to her other pieces of clothing. Most of it could pass as rags, but she didn't care. Her striped green scarf was actually cut from an over sized shirt she found. Pulling out a box cutter, she started to cut across the shirt to where it was just a circular strip. Laya then cut one vertical line so that it split into a scarf. Smiling, she wrapped her "new" article of clothing around her neck.

"What do you think, Ned? Same as the other one, but still." She asked as posed dramatically. Ned tilted his head and let out a croak. Laya just assumed he thought it looked great. There was really no telling with Ned. He had an astounding poker face, and very challenging to read. She smiled and then heard voices from outside. Laya abruptly stopped talking and pressed her ear up against the side of tank. Was it that Cris guy meeting back up with Jay? The voice was muffled due to this big hunk of metal. She frowned and tapped her chin. Ned stared intently at one of the glass cups they had.

"Thanks, Ned." Laya scurried and snatched the glass. She placed it tightly to her ear and against the wall. The glass began to channel the vibrations allowing her to hear! Or rather... Eavesdrop. "Someone just might come along and steal you away." She only caught the ending of the conversation, but she knew it mustn't be good. This was a female voice. Did Jay know her? Was she one of the kids Cris mentioned? She couldn't tell, but she didn't like what little she did hear. Before doing something impulsive, Laya just held the glass to her ear and resumed to hear more before making a rash decision.

After you...
Hell should be easy.

Rose looked up at him an frowned. "That was only because you flipped you bed which caused you to reopen your wound." She said as she sighed softly. Rose let her hair down to let soft curls fall over her shoulders before standing to stretch. She giggled lightly before turning to face him and wrap her arms around his neck gently. "If you can promise me that you will be careful then you can come with me." Rose said with a sweet smile as she looked at him gently.

xXxXxScratching behind his ear, the dark haired boy seemed to think about how to respond to the older male before he actually spoke. "Sugary foods are a rare commodity in my town and I'd rather have protein and iron than a sugar rush. Canned beans, fruits and vegetables alongside the crackers and cheese from MREs have been part of our main food source other than the plants we've had in something of a greenhouse and animals we've raised for meats. We then use things like the hides and organs for things like bags and clothes and trade them with other towns for supplies. Thus far it's kept us going, but we have our bad years. The law of supply and demand, y'know," Cristophe finally responded as he set his katana across his lap. Lacing his fingers together in his lap, he briefly glanced at the window before returning his dark eyes back at the older male. He didn't want to leave Jay out there on his own for too long, but this talk was taking a bit longer than he'd expected.

xxxxxBlinking at the joke, his brow raised ever so slightly as he didn't quite see the joke in such honesty. Perhaps this guy was making some kind of joke involving the grades given in the past? Whatever. It wasn't important. "His stepfather is relatively abusive and the twins who usually protect him were unable to do so today as they were working. I had other matters to tend to with Jay and just about everyone else looks the other way seeing as he didn't originally come from our town. Long story short, his parents traded his physical labor seeing as he's young for food that wouldn't even make it through the night and ditched him. Outsiders are usually treated as the spawn of pure evil in our town seeing as you never know who you can trust in this day and age. And yes, that was an offer," he answered to the male's questions, but merely giving a slight nod at his age being repeated aloud. He hesitated for a moment though when asked if he could come back with him to meet their group.

xxxxx"I'd have to blindfold you to get you anywhere near our town, just as precaution, and be sure none of the adults who threaten our existence see you. Then I'd have to bring them to you one or two at a time so as not to draw attention to what we're doing. Our town leader already hates me as is considering I called him a moron in front of everyone. If he were to find out about me leaving town as often as I do much less discussing things without his consent with you, things would get far worse than they are now for all of the kids with me. As I said, the adults in our town are more like a leader who thinks he can defy the law of nature and his many followers who drank the kool-aid," Cristophe retorted in response to him coming back to the town with him after a few minutes of silence. Might as well be honest and hold up precautionary measures.

xxxxxIn the ash-like snow outside, Jay had started up a soft hum to himself to keep himself from falling into an endless daydream of monotony. His humming ceased, however, when he heard feet approaching him. It wasn't one of those who'd attacked earlier, so what exactly did she want? "Hello. You better be careful just standing out into the open. Someone might just come along and steal you away." Oh. That's what this was. It was a pitiful attempt of an elder woman hitting on him while leaving a vague hint of her possibly being one of those kidnappers. That was so gross...

xxxxx"You're plenty close enough, ma'am, and I'll take your words to heart. I suggest you keep moving onwards though as there's nothing in this city anymore. Raiders have gotten hold of anything worth a dang," the blonde retorted vaguely without so much as glancing twice at the female. If her footsteps grew closer to the tank much less himself, he wouldn't hesitate in removing his katana from it's sheath. Even if it was a girl, he wouldn't hold back in removing one of her limbs if it meant he could protect this little girl. He'd willingly give his life for such a frail little girl compared to this spoiled blonde woman. Heck, he wasn't even going to stroke this woman's ego by making her feel special as others apparently had. As if making it clear he was taking the woman as a threat, his hands shifted from his across his chest to the katana at his waist. If she started a fight, it would be understood between the two on who was faster and more skilled with their sword. Just hopefully this mouse's mole would return before he ended up dead if she was faster and more skilled than he was.

Jay is a sixteen-year-old scavenging kind of guy. You can also say he's more like the type of guy who would defend the camp while the scavengers were out. His mindset, however, is that of being at least somewhere in his early twenties. He is always in good physical shape and can be found practicing with his katana with Cristophe when they aren't busy doing other things. That is if anyone knew where they like to hide and talk in private amongst the town of bunkers. He likes hanging out with Cristophe, practicing with his katana and music that hasn't played in years yet has been sung by his parents and their parents and their parents before them. Jay questions everything, but is rather blunt about it unlike his closest friend's silent demeanor. He's the only one capable of getting into at least part of Cristophe's thought process.
Cristophe is very much like Jay only far more quiet and far more tactical. His brain literally never shuts down. Like Jay, both have odd designs that seem to be permanently in their skin like a tattoo on their arms, but it's uncertain as to what it really is seeing as even the eldest living people of their town don't have a tattoo.
Jack and Leo are twin medical geniuses at the young age of seventeen. Leo has dark black hair whereas Jack has off-white hair. Jack works just fine under pressure and when just doing regular check-ups unlike his twin brother who will literally be chanting "oh crap" like a mantra that will bring him good luck. Unfortunately, after an event that ended up in the loss of a scavenger who ended up dead, these two have become clingy after work. They claim it is because they feel so cold after dealing with sick or injured patients, but most doubt that much so if they just up and hug you out of nowhere, they're just leaving work and it's to be expected. Jack can be very upbeat and cheerful, but his brother can be very uptight and serious about things. Both are very good with children seeing as they're always helping their mother and various aunts with their younger brothers, sisters and cousins when they aren't working. One of these kids is the lover of riddles, Hayden.
Hayden, age thirteen and an adopted child of their family. Seeing as he wasn't originally part of the entire town, people tend to think of him as an outsider still. It doesn't help that he still remembers his parents trading his young body capable of working for food and water. He seems cold and distant, but he's really just acting that way so as to protect himself from being hurt all over again. If his own parents traded him for scraps of food that wouldn't last through the night, what wouldn't people do to survive in this day and age? While he is very young, he is very smart. His job, although it isn't official to the rest of the town, is passing along secret messages and anything involving stealth except for assassinating people. At least thus far he hasn't killed anyone. He is very honest although he doesn't really like discussing his personal life. Like his elder step-brothers who sleep on either side of him, he helps out with the children running amok his stepmother's bunker. He enjoys poetry and has his own katana albeit he hasn't used it other than in practice with Cristophe and Jay.

xXxXx"The bed wasn't that heavy. I've helped cattle that have had calves still in them stand back up so this bed is like carrying a goat or a lamb," Hibiki argued briefly only to smile lightly and nod. He could attempt to be careful on the walk through the hospital, but he wasn't going to make any promises. The reddish-brown haired male was pretty accident-prone which was why his arm got sliced open in the first place. "No promises, but I'll try. Let's go check in on Hayden." With that, he slid off his bed and brushed his lips against hers ever so gently.

Jessica rolled her green eyes. She ignored his words and wandered closer to the tank. She smirked and tapped the tip of her sword on the side of the hunk of metal. "I must ask... What's in here? Obviously something worth of some value, or you wouldn't act so nervous." She said as she leaned her back against the tank. Younger men weren't hardly any fun. They either fawned over her or they were just full of their own selves. This guy wasn't fawning over her so he was next to useless. What a waste of human skin. "I won't take anything. I just want a peek." She smirked as her patience was beginning to wear thin.

After you...
I don't know what I believe in.

Laya squinted her chocolate eyes. Who was this lady? She could hear Jay telling her to keep her distance and to keep on with her travels in a polite way. It was nice to know that humanity still, sort of, existed. Suddenly, it was silent for a moment and then a tap, but since the glass channeled the vibrations, it was so deafening. She flinched from the noise and grimaced as she continued to hold the glass to the wall. This lady had a weapon. A blade, so to jump to conclusions, a sword. Laya began to calculate what this woman's weaknesses could be with what little information she was given. The only problem... She wasn't aware of the woman's appearance or the skill level with her weapon. The lady spoke again. Was Jay nervous? And yeah right she wouldn't take anything. Bandits will be bandits.

Removing her ear from the glass, she set the glass down on the table before her gaze drifted to Ned.
"Whelp Ned... Our work isn't quite finished yet." She announced as she grabbed random things and put them into her haversack. If this woman wanted a peek, she would get the whole present. Laya put a pair of goggles on top of her head and Ned crawled up her sleeve. As she continued packing her bag, she couldn't help, but wonder why Jay was doing this. She felt kinda of awful, because she still didn't trust him, but if things didn't turn out how she hoped they would, she would just find another place to live. It seemed like this tank was a bad idea to live. It attracted too many people.

Laya loosened up the chain anchoring the hatch. She took a deep breath and climbed the steps. This was crazy, but if he did need her help, she would be there. Shoving the hatch open, she poked her head out and rested her arms along the edge. She was hesitant about getting out fully. It was, what she thought, a safety precaution.
"Hey! We don't have anything you need or want, so get lost, harlot!" She taunted as she started to regret this decision. but it was too late now. This lady was older. Much older. She wore a very pleasant courtesan outfit. It made her think of Alice in Wonderland meets Pirates of the Caribbean. The light blue fabric really brought out the golden blonde hair the lady had. Laya internally congratulated the woman on keeping up with her appearance in a wasteland like this. But looks weren't everything... You had to have some kind of skills to survive.

After you...
Hell should be easy.

Cassandra was busy digging through a scrap pile when she noticed some commotion in the distance. Her azure eyes narrowed as she watched a blonde harass another child. 'What's going on over there?' she thought to herself before her desire for adventure became over whelming. She grinned as she readied her staff and vaulted off of the large mound. She made her way over without making so much as a sound. Her face contorted in annoyance as she over heard the blonde speak, the arrogance in her voice apparent. Then a small girl showed up and called her a harlot. 'This is a recipe for disaster.' she thought with a sigh knowing that the arrogant blonde would not be happy Cass jumped in between her and the little girl metal staff poised for a fight. "Don't you know it's rude to pick on kids."

xXxXxDrawing his katana, Jay removed himself from the rusted up tank. "Get back inside the tank and seal the hatch. Apparently we have a cannibal on our hands and I promised him. I will not break a promise," the blonde male stated rather calmly to the auburn haired girl while briefly spinning his sword around his wrist. Removing his sunglasses, he tossed them up inside the tank before rushing the blonde woman yet only to where he could flip up on the tank with his sword mere inches from the woman's face.

xxxxx"Nothing that would interest you. I tried to be nice and give you a fair warning that I will kill you if you got closer, but you obviously can't understand the words coming out of my mouth. Perhaps I should enunciate for your slow, cannibal brain," he growled lowly while narrowing his golden-brown eyes at the female. Briefly glancing at the female that had shown up with the metal staff, he shifted his feet slightly alongside his main focus being that of the slightly shaky blonde woman albeit she didn't seem to notice it herself. "This goes for both if you outside of the tank; welcome to the city, now get your shxt and leave. If either of you refuses after I just spoke that stupidly to get it through her thick skull, I will kill you. And even if I don't, I know of a boy nearby who will cut your head off and mount it on a pike as a warning to others what will happen to those who threaten him and what's his." Cristophe's instructions and survival were number one on his list, all else came afterwards. He gave them an audible warning and now it was a fair game of killing them to defend the girl if it was necessary. In fact, he backed up slightly in case this narcissistic woman or the other attempted anything funny.

The operation seemed like hassle, but also necessary."I don't mind being blindfolded, wouldn't be the first time."Thomas said with a playful smirk, that did not seem to last for very long. These kids where in a lot of trouble and needed out of there quickly. Thomas rose from his previous position in the chair, stepping closer to Mole as he spoke." This leader you speak of sounds like a condescending a**-hole, if I ever run into him I'd like to cut his heart out. Now let's go find Mouse, then meet these friends of yours."

He combed a hand through his hair, all thoughts of going back home to sleep gone, with the arrival of the current situation. Turning to walk towards the door he stopped,to look at Mole with a warm smile."It's going to get better from now on, I promise. " Thomas reached out his hand and ruffled the younger males dark hair. He would rather hug the boy, but he assumed Mole wouldn't like to much physical contact.

Rose smiled into the kiss before she blushed again. Turning towards the door she slipped her hand into his. "He is in ICU which means that he will have doctors in and out of the room...." She said softly as they walked to Hayden's room. Once inside Rose picked up his charts to read through. She mumbled something then cursed under her breath as she sat the chart back on the table. "The person whom signed off on his case was you brother-in-law...."She said sadly as she looked at him with a frustrated look letting him know something was strange about this whole thing.

xXxXxGiving a slight nod to the elder male's words and even flashing a brief flicker of a smile, the dark haired boy started to stand once again. At having his hair ruffled, however, he'd stiffened slightly before flicking open his sunglasses and sliding them on. "Glad to hear it, Mr. Thomas. Let's see if I can't find where the mouse ran off to," Cristophe responded in that smooth purr-like rumble while biting back the urge to deck the fair haired man for treating him like a kid. Padding softly yet quickly past the blonde into the falling ash, his serious and yet so very wary demeanor seemed to have returned.

xxxxxAfter leading the man back to where Jay and the girl had been fired upon, he knelt slightly so as to pick up the crossbow bolt in the ashes then tugging the other bolt out of the hood of the old car that hadn't moved in decades. Seeing as the ash had started to cover the footprints, he was trying to move quickly so as not to lose his friend's trail. This didn't, however, stop him from singing softly to himself. If one listened closely to the words, they were relatively peaceful albeit spoke of how someone took someone else's land and their lives. With every step he took, his voice remained at a specific pitch while never letting his motions alter it.

Related to Hibiki Itou in some way, shape or form::
