David Temperance Rant

As Chasity asked did he like Kindness, his face puffed up and turned red as he was close to answering the question. Hey, wait! he said as he was dragged inside the penthouse, face still red. When they made it inside Temperance went to look at what Chasity seemed confused about. When he went inside, he saw the man inside the house eating. His blush was now gone and his eyebrow rose as he smelled the aroma of the food. What is he doing here? he said in his head trying to take in the actual thought of Kindness and Patience feeding him. As the others got up to eat, Temperance knelt down and whispered in Chasity's ear, Just go with it, I mean we are angels. We must be nice, he said as softly as he could. I hope we don't have enough desert already, he said speaking out, Kairi decided to get cake. How thoughtful of her. He smiled at the group, but held a fake smile that was hard to pass through to Nikolai. Well it's a good thing she got this cake. We didn't know we would have guests over for dinner, he laughed almost sounding a bit nervous.

Nina sliced off a piece of her food and began to chew on it, listening to the others conversation. It was nice to stay quiet and listen, and she liked it. Maybe this is the pleasure Patience gets whenever she waits. It was... nice. She smiled at Nikolai's response to Chi's question and the pinkness from her cheeks returned when his eyes caught hers when he answered. He interested her. He was a man who cared for his students and was polite. If he was being truthful about being a soldier, then that was something endearing, and she couldn't simply put that aside. And it really was too bad that she wasn't his student. She would love to see him more.

Nina watched as Kairi asked Chi about leaving. Her brows furrowed with worry and she set down her fork. "Kairi, I don't think you should go alone. And this isn't a matter of how old you are. You know, buddy system no matter what." She didn't like being alone that much, and never wanted anyone else to be alone either. "If you need someone to go, then I'll go with you."

Nina smiled when Nikolai spoke up. He was such a gentlemen. Her eyes sparkled with genuine happiness and she seriously couldn't help but grin from ear to ear. But she calmed herself quickly and looked over at Kairi. "Alright?" she asked her. She then looked back at Nikolai. "You mean it? You'll come with us? Well... I mean, come with Kairi, but you know, I can come too because, um, I mean... yeah. Cause I'm her sister and all..."

Nina jumped at the offer, popping up from her chair and holding her hand out to Kairi. She couldn't wait to get going. She had to admit it to herself, being with this man more and more made her want to see him more. Nina chuckled to herself when he mentioned defenseless girls. If only you knew... she thought. There were so many things she wanted to tell him, and so many things she wanted to know. About his teachings and stuff, of course.
