As she swooped back into the air to gather her bearings, she caught sight of a familiar Hunter. One with a chainsaw. Apparently her grudge for someone who hurt Lizzy was more effective as a talon-tipped wing slashed out at him.

"Rue? Your weapon has a name? How cute," Reiko said. Fridge horror later? Possibly, when she went back over this, but for now...she was posturing a little, and she was not going to show this Hunter that she was afraid. If she was at all.
Also, the urge to point out that as a ghost, she was severely lacking in bone marrow to drink was bubbling up. Sorry, but the thick accent rendered the threat kind of...ineffectual. Though it really wasn't time for a semantics debate.
"I'd like to see you try and make me scream, you pathetic little ant," Reiko snarled. She was protecting her friends, and she was not going to back down.
She snarled as the other ghoul-hunter lashed out from behind the boil.
"And you accuse us of ganging up!" She growled, lashing out with her foot at this new attacker. "You are no better!"

Suddenly the ground beneath Auri erupt in blue flames, setting her jacket on fire! "Not again!" she yelled, remembering the rune room in War. She threw her jacket to the ground but her tie was still on fire! Auri struggled to get the tie off and finally threw it to the grass as well. If she hadn't been covering her face that would have hurt! [[ OOC :]]

Roch jerked at the attack, his eyes narrowing as he looked at the blonde with the blitzball. "Your boilfriend?" he asked Sydney, bringing up his guitar to attack back. "He isn't--wasn't--well he was--but--" Syd tried to get out, confusing herself as she tried to explain what was going on to Aleister. Should she gang up on the boy with her friend? Defend? Who knew how dangerous this boy was? She winced as she saw the punk boil twist his body, his guitar swinging with a menacing flash straight into Al's gut--and then she winced as the punk boil caught on blue fire. Was that a special effect that he had? Did it increase his attack power? There was the briefest moments of pause as the demon stared back at the hunter girl, and then her own lips twitched upward in a smile every bit as dark as the one that was directed at her. Hadiyya didn't know these hunters, had barely any experience with them, but she had stories, and the memory of what they'd done to Red. Just because she didn't personally know her enemy did not mean she wouldn't throw everything she had at them. The reassurances the girl hissed at her two companions really only seemed to brighten Yaya's smile, and she tipped her head up in that unmistakable demon pride. So she was fine? The ghoul would just have to try harder this time. Stepping forward the djinn swept her hand at the floor, and water welled up to follow. Bulding and building until she had a small wave at her beck and call, and with a thrust of her hand that wave was sent crashing forward towards Sasha. Huni Pi Arynek doesn't know how to deal with males LOL Arynek sighed and had her brows bent much as she heard the human ghoul yelling at her. That ghoul said Arynek didn't understand pain, but she was totally wrong. Like humans, they could feel pains. The ghoul continued to accuse that her kind (Halloweeners) did't deserve respect of any kind and all of her kind is "unnatural" to the world. No! She was wrong! If she didn't respect us, how are we suppose to repsect humans.Unnatural?
We are created by humans. If we are unnatural, that means humans themselves are unnatural too.
These humans are just too narrow-minded, thinking themselves as the only living species on this world.The ghoul ended her words with something interesting. Eat my fear? How?She was about to open her mouth when she sensed an attack, she dodged it. It was another human, male! " Why they choose to attack me? Do I look that weak?" She wondered.  Mitzi had barely been still on her feet when the unfamiliar Horsewoman appeared with reassurance and healing. The Reaper ghoul felt revitalized, and hope was back - they didn't have to defeat all the Hunters, only to hold out until the Horsemen could arrive. Although that still begged the question of what was holding them up... Then Reiko was pulling her over to the other ghost ghoul, finally spotted in the crowd. "Imryn!" Good, both her ghouls were all right, for now at least. "Yeah, let's show them what we can do." The Hunters seemed convinced they had this in the bag, the students needed to prove otherwise. And suddenly Reiko was gone, on the attack, and Imryn had followed. There were too many people around the Hunter they attacked, Mitzi couldn't get a clear shot, but then several other Hunters jumped into the fray, attacking Reiko. Oh, jack no, she was not letting some Hunter attack her friend. Mitzi pushed her way through the fray as the two taunted back and forth, coming up from the side to finally swing a punch at the red-haired Hunter. "You aren't getting your hands on her!"She was only half listening to Reiko's comments, vaguely remembering that before she hadn't seemed to know what Hunters were. So she probably didn't know why their weapons had names. Tori chuckled slightly when she heard Before call her name and then try attack the creature ghoul to protect her as that was very very kind of him. If they all made it out alive she would definitely have to spend time with her best friend. "Heya!! Its good to have some backup and I'm glad to see that your still alive," Tori said as she didn't want to give the creature her friends name and still keeping her sword up to protect as she went to Before's side. Seeing that he looked worse that she did since she spotted that he was missing some hair but that didn't mater to her she was glad he was still alive. Tori kept her eyes on the ghoul as one didn't know when they would attack again and if that creature hit her best friend she would give that creature ghoul hell an Aklin growled for more Fear and more fighting. So Medea knew what was going on? Perhaps Aisa would know more about that.
However, Invictus paid no mind to that. Instead, he summoned his bow, raising his hand above his head and then bringing his hand down as a fist, creating a field of gravity. Did he specifically pick the targets who got caught up in it?
Nope.
But the Heir to Conquest was going to make at least somebody kneel before him. These hunters had messed with his home, and if it hadn't been slightly personal before, it was now.
