At last! A dragon!
Which... Fallow didn't know anything about. Oh well. It wouldn't hurt to try getting this thing to be his mount. Maybe it wouldn't try eating him like the wolf had. Maybe. Rumbling, Fallow leaned close to the rivers surface.

The dragon did not say hello back.

Fallow tried very hard to use the Fear that the sisters had taught them at the beginning of class. He tried very hard, failed very hard, and simply started rambling on about two-timing adaras.
Eventually, the dragons head emerged from the river to listen.
Maybe his Conquest training was actually starting to pay off.
Maybe.
Fallow: 3+6 = 9 - 6 = 3.
Dragon: 5+1 = 6 - 6 = 0.

By the time Fallow had finished recounting his tale of adaras and maybe trying to exude a bit of Fear too, the dragon had crawled completely out of the river and had also managed to wrap around him like an overgrown boa. It just wasn't full of feathers.
"Hello. Now you are mine." Fallow said contently.
It would be a very painful breakup at the end of classes.
Very painful indeed.
Fallow: 6+4 = 10 - 6 = 4.
Dragon: 6+3 = 9 - 6 = 3.
