@anyone
As she saw her Zubat appear in the wrong dirrection she stopped, looking back at it as she held her arm out for it to land. "...Hang on guys,...somethings not right here...Did anyone else see that?"

Bouncy_Pineapple Nyla blinked as she saw Syt's Zubat coming up from behind him. Wasn't it flying ahead just a moment ago? There is something seriously fishy about this... Pulling out a pencil, she marked a spot on the wall with an X and ran ahead. You walk up and up and up until...you reach back to where you marked the x.

Xander blinked in surprise at what happened with the Zubat. Were they now in some kind of loop? How had the Zubat been transported back other wise? "Maybe we should check the walls for any secret passages?" he thought out loud.

Keria moved closer to the trainer with the zubat. "yeah i didn't It's weird it's like it was tellaported back to where we are. Teleport? that could be why we haven't gotten to the top yet!"

She just sort of...followed the trail of other trainers that made way towards the stairs. There were no familiar faces among them, at least none that she could see. Which was alright, in a sense, as she had her Zubat partner - who was still just chillin' out and hanging from her back. But with everyone moving in the same direction now, finding at least one face she knew would be nice....oh wait! That Absol...and that man... Arlii quickly maneuvered through people, careful not to knock anyone over as she approached the man that had been in the room with her before.
"Hey! Do you...mind if we tag along with you and your Absol? Please?" Just one person to stick with wouldn't be that bad, would it? She hoped not. And hoped he would agree...sort of. Or at the very least wouldn't tell her to shove off. "Also, do these stairs seem really...looong to you?"

Kayla trotted pass the the girl that made the almost obsene comment and went over to Shina. Kayla laughed a little. "That might work."
Just then she noticed that one of the girls zubat went ahead to possibly scout but for some reason, the zubat appeared again from behind. What the heck was going on? Kayla did not like this, not at all.

It took Oyumi a moment to spot Katie among the crowd, but when she did she slowed down a bit to fall into step beside her. She smiled slightly at the other trainer's comment, her eyes flicking to Fuutarou as he fell into step beside her as well. She hardly realized that they'd been climbing so long - her training as a ninja had certainly done a lot for her physical endurance.
"I know what you mean. I'd like to get back to my hotel room for a nice shower."

Cetus pursed her lips and winding her bad arm, gave a good punch to the adjacent wall. This was annoying.
"Damn thing, you like messin' with us, don't you?" she sneered to herself, hoping the deck to the wall pained it somehow. "Arceus damn it, I'm not going to climb any more stairs if this is the case."

The mysterious girl from earlier appears from out of nowhere again. She smiles. "You humans are sharp, as expected if you have survived being tested by this mansion." She is on a level in the stairs much higher than you, looking down at your group. When you try to reach her, you notice the stairs seem to stretch endlessly in front of you. Something definitely seems up with this place.

"I don't think Jirachi can, but I know of two particular Pokemon that can. My guess is there is a Zorua around here... Me and another guy found an image of Jirachi with a bunch of other Pokemon that are probably his family. Zorua happened to be one of the Pokemon pictured. And since so far, most of the Pokemon pictured in that image have shown up, I wouldn't doubt that there is a Zoura sneaking around here."

Looking over at Keria, she ran her fingers through her bangs of light blue hair. "Now what should we do?" Hearing another trainers remark, she nodded, feeling along the wall for something out of place. A button, anything that might stop this illusion

Angie watched the Zubat fly ahead... and then spotted it returning from behind the group. And she saw when Nyla did the same thing with the x on the wall, she was not pleased. "Oh great," she grumbled. "Of course these stairs can't just be normal stairs..."
Out of curiosity, she peered over the railing, wondering if she could see the beginning of the stairs.
