Alpha - Frontier University (Prom) - Who's that over there? Leo's stern look in response to her comment about the punch bowl made her laugh. She felt like he was more of a personal body guard than a date with that look, combined with the tux and his constant scanning of the room. It was a rather humorous situation that played out in her head for a moment turning to follow his gaze when it seemed to linger on someone. She saw a boy she didn't know, talking with Bella, her eyebrows raising ever so slightly ( Blake). He was good-looking - maybe a new boy toy for the songstress to pass her time with? They seemed to know each other at the very least, which only heightened her suspicions. ' Mental note: check the academy gossip mill for more information,' she thought to herself, a grin forming on her lips at her mental comments. Of course, both her internal train of thought, and her external attentions to her friend-date with interrupted by the sounds of a scuffle not too far off, brunette curls whipping around to catch sight of Roland taking down some poor bloke. She couldn't help her eyes rolling, noting that Roland's date, Kerrigan seemed less than thrilled with the whole situation. It seemed that as quickly as it all began, it was over, with Mr. McCoy and Ms. Frost stepping in to handle the damage while the culprit got what the earthmover would only imagine was a tongue-lashing from his team leader and a thwap on the back of the head. The sound of Leo's voice drew her attention back around to him as he asked why someone always had to get hurt at these kinds of things, the brunette releasing a soft sigh and a shrug. " You know, I often wonder the same thing. But, I guess it's just the line of work we're in. What's a social event without a little brawl?" Of course, this was better than poor Marcus getting kicked where the sun don't shine, last time. Whatever pain this boy was in, he should be thanking his luck stars it wasn't one of those injuries. She saw her date's eyes turn back towards the door, where their team leader and her male companion were no longer standing. The furrow of Leo's brow was enough to tell her that he was contemplating going after them, though what his fascination was with that couple was a bit beyond her at this point. As he finally said that he wanted to go find them Tara gave an understanding smile and a wave of her hand. " Go. Get it out of your system. I'll just mingle til you get back." Offering him a playful wink as he asked her not to have too much fun without him, she didn't turn to see him head out the door, instead turning her alert eyes to those around the hall that she hadn't yet acknowledged. And that was when she saw a familiar face. Once again, a grin spread across her perfectly-glossed lips as she tousled her fingers through her curls and stood from where she had been seated to make her way over to a lone figure, wandering around the outskirts of the dance with his hands in his suit pockets ( Thomas). Her steps were quick as she moved through the tables so as to come up behind him, hopefully not giving herself away until she fell into step next to him, arm linking through his with a playful smirk. " How ya been, Farnsworth? Seems all you do is play around in the infirmary these days - why don't we ever hang out anymore? Digging the scruff with the suit, by the way - very sharp." Every word dripped with sarcasm and amusement, though her facial expression would betray how excited she was to see him. It had been awhile since she got promoted, but they were on the Shadowwalkers together before that. It made her realize that she really hadn't been spending as much time with her old friends as she would like, but given their new training schedule, classes and trying to make up some semblance of a social life with her new teammates, she really just hadn't had the time. It was a shame really - there were some real cuties she'd left behind...

The Omegas: Prom |795|"Are you lost in your lies? Do you tell yourself, 'I don't realize.' Your crusade's a disguise. Replaced freedom with fear, You trade money for lives. I'm aware of what you've done." ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Felix gazed calmly back in the direction of the blond as she stared at him with intensity. Personally the speedster wasn't at all bothered by that sort of thing. It was a gaze that more reflected that she was trying to figure him out rather than stare a hole through him in his eyes. Even if Cissa's eyes were cold and impersonal in Felix's opinion. She listened to him as they discussed the kiss they had shared and for that the man was thankful. That she was listening instead of torching him was always a good thing after all.
As he finished Felix fell silent to listen to the small blond woman. At her first statement the speedster gave a nod of understanding afterwards. Obviously by her tone she was exasperated. Personally Felix didn't see where she needed to be considering he thought they were merely having a discussion of his actions. Maybe she was trying to teach him something though? The thought amused him, but his face didn't betray the amusement underneath. There was no need to give her a reason to be upset.
Cissa's continued explanation drew another nod from him as he couldn't deny that she was wrong. "Your logic is sound. I feel no need to disagree." A shrug was given after to show that he really had nothing further to add on the subject. The quicker they moved passed the subject the better anyway. His jewels needed to remain safe after all. As Cissa continued concerning what she liked Felix gave her a thoughtful look. Again he couldn't really say he disagreed. Making sure she was finished completely Felix cleared his throat. "I shall keep that in mind next time I chose to lock lips with someone."
The topic then turned somewhere that Felix was much more comfortable with considering he didn't foresee any way that it ended with her foot in his crotch. Unless she believed heavily in the x-men way of doing things which she didn't seem to be. Really he found the topic to be intriguing. As she gave her view of things Felix thought it over for a few minutes. Obviously the blond woman had been with the x-men longer and had a better idea of them than he did. The chuckle she gave was pleasing to the ears and was a sharp contrast to how she used to be.
"That is certainly one way of looking at things. Granted I have yet to see this metaphorical compass point south. I admit it is something I would like to see. I suppose settling for questionable east or west is acceptable though." The small smile showed he was probably joking though he made no effort to clarify either way. It was a little bit of both really. The policy the x-men tended to have was something that Felix couldn't agree with given his moral standing. After seeing what his father had done it was obvious the world was better off without him. It was a gift Felix intended to give the world sometime in the future.
As things continued moving on the topic turned to Felix's question and Cissa outright laughed in response. A small smile was on his face as she answered. However, they were cut off as suddenly Roland decided to play knight to some mutant that probably didn't even want him to. Knowing human nature she would go right back to the pig that she brought. Humans could be so pathetic. Watching his dance partner go off to scold him Felix 'tsked' as he watched muttering to himself. "Another fine specimen of x-men stupidity. Sticking his nose where it doesn't belong."
Why did they have to be such idiots? Why did Roland have to go and try to ruin prom for everyone else. Not to mention the man managed to steal away his date in the middle of a conversation. If looks could kill, Roland would surely be six feet under. Letting the look drop from his face before anybody would notice Felix waited as patiently as possible for the blond to return. It was pleasing to see Roland being berated for being such a caveman and slapped in the back of the head. He needed to come to present day and not dwell in the past where such things were more tolerable.
As his date finished playing team leader Felix met her halfway back with a smirk. "So I see you have set the record straight with Neanderthal Man over there. Does that mean we can return to dancing or would you like to go sample the punch that is likely spiked?" Felix's metabolism was fast enough that he could handle quite a few glasses before it would have any effect on him.
(OOC: If anything needs changed you know where to find me.)

Name: Raine "Glitter" Burke Team: Alphas Power: Creation and Manipulation of Electricity Location: Study Room Dinner || Prom arrival " Government tends to be the bane of most students' existences, so you're not alone there," she said with a grin, noting that he was clearly not in favor of the requirement. His comment about learning the policies of his own people being far more interesting than the intricacies of the "white man" made her smile slightly as she popped another bite of dinner into her mouth. His pause and shrug made her swallow quickly, waving a hand in a dismissive manner. " Please, none taken. American government and history are the least interesting for me, by far," she responded with an understanding gaze, the conversation then turning to his reservation and willingness to teach her some of the recipes from his people. Another smile spread across her features when he agreed to take her on as a student, asking him more about his background and the reservation that he came from. He seemed to be more than happy to talk about it, Raine getting the distinct impression that it wasn't something that he got to talk about very often. For a moment, she thought about whether it was my choice or if he just didn't get the opportunity, but either way she was glad to see him so happy. He offered to drag the lessons out, a coy glance meeting his before she turned back to the food before her. " I'd like that." He expressed his thanks that she was happy with the food, causing her to give an enthusiastic nod. Before too long, they had finished eating, heading out the prom. By the looks of the Academy, they were among the stragglers, but her constant quest for punctuality was currently the furthest thing from her mind. ------------------------- By the time they got to the Prom, the majority of their class was already there. She smiled at those she knew as she and Aren made their way through the door. While Raine considered herself to be a fairly humble person, she couldn't help but note the looks of envy she got from some of the other girls there. It did made her feel good, though it was never something she would readily admit to people - how tacky would that be? Nevertheless, she found her arm drawing him a few inches closer, smiling up at him as he asked her if she wanted to dance. " I'd love to," she replied over the sound of the music, allowing him to lead her out onto the floor when she saw Felix approach Narcissa out of the corner of her eye. Apparently, there had already been an incident, the firefly taking note of the faculty helping a seemingly injured boy up and out of the dance while pairs danced on the floor. Instantly, she felt a sinking feeling in her stomach, seeing one of her friends apparently with the one person at the entire academy that she thoroughly couldn't stand. It felt like a betrayal, though she couldn't quite figure out why. After all, it wasn't like she'd wanted him to ask her - she'd gotten the one date she'd wished for. But, why would he be with her, out of all the people in the entire school? You're being rude, Raine. Knock it off.Her thoughts snapped back to the present, falling into step with Aren in a playful, yet appropriate dance with her date. She smiled at him, forcing the feeling of the knife in her back into the background so she could focus on the date before her. Everything had been perfect until now - that was the feeling she wanted to hold onto. She at least owed it to Aren to be engaged by his company. And as soon as she set sights back on his form, it suddenly became a lot easier. " Do you think we'll make it through the night without any burns?" He'd likely know what she was insinuating - she and Cissa didn't get along on the best of days, but now that she was here with one of the blonde's Omegas, she had a feeling that the evening wouldn't be complete without some sort of confrontation between the two mutant women. It was just a matter of being ready for whatever curveballs the night threw at her.

╔═════════════════════════════╗ Alpha: Prom |645| Thomas "Transmigration" Morgan ╚═════════════════════════════╝ Thomas was content to remain alone and observe other people having fun. He was just the type of person to be completely fine with something like that. Just watching others have fun was often times more than enough fun for him. A small smile remained on his features as he watched everyone until two men got into a scuffle. Watching as the obvious human and untrained of the two was quickly dispatched Thomas let out a sigh. Beginning to move towards them to use his blood to heal the human Emma seemed to have other plans and simply altered his memory. While part of him was relieved because he had no syringes on him and bleeding out would not be good for his suit, another part of him was hurt Emma hadn't even considered using him. Still he forgot it as he watched the human be carried off by Dr. McCoy.
Being preoccupied with watching the man being carried off and the room being so full gave Tara plenty of cover to sneak up on him. A sigh was given moments before suddenly someone was stepping beside him and linking arms with him. Turning to look at his old friend he gave her a smile in response to seeing her. Something he would likely be doing a lot of considering his recent promotion she likely had no knowledge of. It was pleasure to see the earth mover again. Listening as she used a nickname for him and mentioned his stint in the infirmary lately the Healer sighed in an amused way. As she mentioned his scruff Thomas brought a hand up to his face and rubbed it slightly. Was it bad he hadn't really realized how long the hair was getting? He needed to shave clearly.
While Tara's every word oozed with sarcasm and amusement it was clear from her expression that she was excited to see him. His own expression would convey how pleasant it was to see her. "Yes I have been all work and no play for quite some time now. Clearly this small vacation was needed. As for why we never hang out anymore I admit I am at least partially at fault. However you can take some of that fault as well Tara." Smiling to the person next to him Thomas decided to address the latter part of her statement. "While I thank you for the compliment I was not entirely aware that my scruff as you called it had gotten so out of hand. That is obviously another indication that I need a vacation from the infirmary. If only my blood didn't have healing properties right?" Despite his words Thomas was sure she would know he wasn't serious. He didn't mind using his blood to help people.
The decision to let her know of his own promotion was easy enough and Thomas cleared his throat. "Back to the subject of us not being able to see much of each other you might be pleased to know that I have officially decided to take up the offer to work with the Alphas. I believe we are officially on the same team again so we should see more of each other." That was something Thomas looked forward to. There were quite a few of his friends that had moved on from the student teams to either the Alphas or the Omegas over the years. It was obviously beyond time he made the leap himself. Truly he felt ashamed he had not let himself make the leap sooner. So much blood shed might have been avoided if he had. "I look forward to working with everyone. Oh and you look as stunning as I am sure you planned." While it might have sounded like he was flirting with his last statement it was just Thomas letting her know that she looked nice.
╔═════════════════════════════╗ I will now rise from the ashes. Don't call me pretentious. I'm sitting here making my own rules. And if I fall from the ceiling. You'll be down there waiting. And my only hope. Is falling down. ╚═════════════════════════════╝

Daylia Astralloxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Team Omegaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Location: Prom...xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Daylia watched as more people began dancing on the floor. A couple consisting of Kerrigan and Roland caught her eye. She returned the read heads smile, adding a nod, something just to convey a silent hello. How Roland had gotten Kerrigan to be his date was beyond her. From what she heard, the Omega Queen and the Red Head were BFF’s. Well whatever the circumstances were, she hoped Roland had enough sense to treat Kerri right. After a moment she put the thought aside, focusing more on her current situation.
Daylia couldn’t help but raise a single brow as her attention returned to her date Dimitri. "Yes, because getting people pissed at you is just an awesome feat. I could understand if they’re like Gandhi and you were trying to get them to fly off the handle, but other than that I just don’t get it." She said with a sigh. "And that may be the case for some people I guess… But some people get crazy when they’re mad. Especially girls." Daylia shook her head as she pulled an example to mind. "Take Lorena Bobbit, her man pissed her off and she cut off his p***s and threw it in a field."
Daylia paused for a moment shake her head once more. "But then again, he had it reattached then became, or tried to become, a porn star." She shrugged. "Meh, either way, you piss off the wrong one in the wrong way and you might walk away without an important member." She wouldn’t go on about how she would have done things differently in Mrs. Bobbit’s shoes, after all there was no reason at the moment to point out the face that she was somewhat violent.
"Oh yes. Ignoring Narcissa is a sure fire way not to get torched." Daylia rolled her eyes. Was he an idiot? She had better chances of showing up to things rather than ignoring them, which of course was just fine with her. After all, Narcissa didn’t seem to be out for Daylia’s blood. Well at least that she knew of. "Oh yeah. Totally not before, after all you need someone on your arm to make you look good." She added a small grin.
"I think getting hooked on gambling is called an addiction, something that you may want to see someone for." The grin had widened slightly. Daylia couldn’t help but poke at Dimitri. It wasn’t like she was being out right mean to him, after all he was making his own jokes too. Idly she wondered if he was going to try to get her mad, though she did warn him about that. "Yeah, I will keep that in mind." She said with a laugh.
Daylia gave another softer shrug to Dimitri’s words. "Oh thanks, glad my looks can land someone. Though I do believe some people like to look past that when looking for someone. Though hey, it gives me the warm fuzzies to know I’m just arm candy to you." She said with a wink. "Does wonders for a girl’s confidence. "
"No, no spots picked out, I just know it does not have to be prom." She paused for a moment taking Dimitri in. "Or the back seat of an expensive car." No, never the back seat, or front seat for that matter, of a car. Any car. She had a little more dignity than that, and would rather be comfortable. Dyalia laughed as he brought up DDR. The thought of that game brought back memories of her siblings, especially her brother, Chris, dancing on the pad. "Yeah? Well, doesn’t seem to be helping me any. Then again, my brother always liked to hog that game." Which hadn’t bothered her any. The dance pad always slid around when she tried to use it, and had cause more bloody lips or scuffed elbows than she would like to admit.
Daylia allowed her gray orbs to sweep the room again. Thankfully she had not seen too much drama going on. Well other than Roland causing some issue with some guy. She couldn’t hear the conversation, but some of the chaperones had intervened, though not till after Roland hit him. It was odd to see Narcissa reprimand him without actually causing much bodily harm. Maybe she was saving that till after prom.
"He got off lucky." She said pointing out the situation. ""

  Name: Narcissa Grace Lucania-Stone [No relation, to Any Alpha's] Codename: Solaris Team: Omega Location: Prom Temperament: Calm--With the potential for an atomic bomb. The sun goddess leveled her unearthly glare on Roland, knowing that despite Kerrigans complaints… She would do her best to keep the man from beating the hell out of anymore flatscans. Considering her best friends ability…If she really didn’t want him doing something… He would find it a damn sight hard to get past her to do it. If, and only if he was able to best her... By that time, Narcissa would already be present. And if it was necessary that she be present to chastise him twice in one evening… She’d not give him a third chance to embarrass her reign.
She didn’t know what his damage was… And couldn’t bring herself to care. His file was so damn redacted that she couldn’t possibly be expected to have learned much from it—Other than the basics. Most of her information had been acquired through other means…Nevertheless—If he couldn’t man up and confess his demons… He couldn’t expect her to pity—Or baby him for them.
Narcissa wasn’t anyone’s mother… And she never would be.
Her footsteps led her back to Felix, the shimmering white of her gown dusting the floor as she let her arms slid back about his neck. He’d met her halfway, and they fell into a small spin for a moment while she growled, muffling her anger in his suit jacket. “This is why we fight with humans.”
“This is why they’re so afraid of us…I understand it… When we act more like animals, than men.”
The blond goddess ignored the eyes that followed her across the room, through the throngs of dancing couples… Knowing that they expected more of a reaction out of her. But she ignored them. Of course they stared…She was drop dead gorgeous, afterall. “While I’m fairly certain that half the professor presence is to keep the student body from getting knocked up overnight... I’m with the half that is concerned with keeping us off the radar.”
The School for the Gifted needed to stay off the grid as much as possible…There were already whispers. Warning signs. This was one of the few safe havens that didn’t involve living in the sewers like Morlocks… Or being nearly vaporized on Genosha.
She was silent when Felix asked her what she wanted to do, her golden head leaning petulantly against his broad shoulder…Simply unnerved, and wishing the clock was striking two already. The sooner this ended…The better. Instead of responding, she let a few songs pass… Her small form an extraordinary glimmer of gold and white cloth…Her eyes fixed on something to her right, and if it were possible, her gaze grew infinitely colder…
She’d been wondering when her little Indian would show up with his ridiculous date. And her initial assumption had been right… He’d refused to tell her which harlot he’d chosen; Because it was a damnable Alpha. Part of her was incredibly insulted by the notion...While another part of her was incredibly relieved. She hated both parts. What was it about all of the Omega men that they found Alpha women so damn beguiling? Her teeth ground together for a moment… But her face smoothed instantly. The flawless, porcelain doll—The starlet that had just stepped from the silver screen. She was…Perfect, in all things.
Aren really should have answered, when she’d asked the first time. Then she might have had time to properly abhor Raine more than usual and make her life a living hell. Now it was a very brutal open season... And why? No one would know the answers to that...No one except Narcissa.
Aren was apparently good looking...But a little too thick to string her thoughts together. It wasn't his fault. Most everyone was too thick for that.
“Ah, the little things…”, she purred suddenly, leaning back from Felix’s arms, her hand slipping to his tie to pull his face closer to her own. The look she wore was…Innocent and kittenish—Which in its own right should have given cause for alarm. It was only one of many expressions in her personal arsenal… But men had a hard time, in particular, with this one. She leaned forward, gently touching her nose to his before chuckling… “Bored now, love… Let’s have some fun.”
She let her hand slide down his tie to the end, but she didn’t let go as she pulled him along towards the punch table…Noting with distaste, that the brunette with Aren had donned her trademark color. She really should have stuck with blue….Red, in any form, was simply wasted on her. From Aren, to the homeless vagrant bag of a dress… A waste.
She filled two glasses with punch—Knowing full well that it was spiked. She’d never attended a prom where it wasn’t filled with something judgment distorting. Her eyes flickered to Felix as she handed him two cups, and picked up two herself…Ever careful not to spill the red substance. After the fiasco with the Alpha at the last dance… Everyone had learned to steer clear of her when she was holding a drink. “You know that bint, don’t you?”
Of course he did. She’d seen them together…Truthfully, she only asked to see if he’d have the stones to lie to her.
“I don’t think we’ve ever formally met—You really should be a gentleman and introduce us...”, Narcissa went on, her tone no less cruel than it had been before…Felix didn’t need to know her plans, or her thoughts…He’d been a fine date so far… She could only hope that he’d continue to prove his worth. Both as her date… And as an Omega. “You can offer your drinks... I feel, that someone ought to be drunk. And you’re going to help—So I can remove my boredom.”
Raine would never take something from her hand… Likely fearing that it was poison. She would probably be right—Were it for the fact that Narcissa would never lace a drink with something that could be traced.
She led him back to the where she’d last seen the trespassing Alpha and her Omega… Letting herself settle in front of them, cutting off their path. Her eyes danced…Though not with joy and laughter as one might suppose… But something darker—Laced with a deep seated irritation that she deliberately masked. “I was starting to wonder if you were going to make it at all Aren...I thought your…Date…”, she struggled around the word, trying not to say 'dog'. She swallowed the disgust and K-9 refrences, just barely, “Might have stood you up.”
So much for wishful thinking.
“Felix was just telling me all about you Ruthie…He brought you both drinks.”
Her ice cold eyes flickered to Raine, her superior smirk lingering on rose colored lips…Clearly acknowledging woman to woman that she knew exactly what her name was… And that she’d deliberately said it wrong. Her gaze returned to Aren after that...As if the Alpha weren't worth her time to directly address-- But that her words needed passed through her handler. “Lovely color…It’s to die for.”
‘So die.’
Of course, she’d not say that aloud…Not yet. But it was tempting. At least she’d managed to attempt to thread a compliment and an insult together. That was progress. Aren would want her to be...Cordial. He would be proud of her for trying...No matter how much of it was a lie. It injured her, mortally wounded her, to make the attempt. She'd rather have her teeth pulled...Bamboo shoots jammed up her fingernails. Where had she gotten that dress? It seemed two sizes too big…She suddenly felt nauseated by the thought of a plus size section at a cheap, off the rack department store… Or...Or a thrifty shop. How…Quaint.
Poor Felix had suddenly been dragged into a world where he didn’t know the rules. Her warm hand brushed against his, almost a burn in warning… He would either go with her ploy, or she’d take pleasure in dismembering him.
“Do be careful… I hear there’s a touch of alcohol in the punch... I wouldn’t want the two of you in over your heads… I know Felix could handle it—He’s…”, she let a small vixen-esque smirk crawl up her features as she glanced at him, eyes saying things that she clearly denied him moments before. “He’s really very muscled under all that designer suit…”
The gaze that lingered on Tiny clearly stated that Felix wasn't the only one who looked good in a suit. She was simply enjoying her newest game too much to soften just yet. Aren had this way of...Stealing all of her fun. Making her... Kinder. It annoyed her, thoroughly. So perhaps if she thought of him as an Alpha plaything... And not her Omega, this whole thing wouldn't drive up up such a steep wall.
“But Aren is new to this...Aren’t you?”, she questioned him, batting sparkling lashes…”And Ruthie… You’re all skin and bones. I just don’t think you could hold much of anything. You might want to take it slow…No one wants to look like—“, the sun goddess paused, mock hiding her mouth from Aren with her free hand, ”Trailer trash on prom night.”
‘Except that you already do, you bloody dog.’
Narcissa tilted her head and smiled, playing the concerned team leader as she rest her cheek on Felix’s arm…Not at all allowing her irritation to show. This little white hat, worthless piece of garbage had her hands...ALL over her Omega. She itched, deeply, to burn them off and stop just at the carpals. Her proximity a constant reminder of the fact that should he cross her… He’d never do so again. No matter how fast he could move…He couldn’t escape.
Really, she’d thought Aren had better taste. What a tramp. She was surprised the rest of the room didn't start barking at her.
Her eyes flickered from Aren to Raine...Her tone soft, however tinged with frost and ice... "Or would your date would prefer water? That might be more suited to her...team status..."
'Should that be provided in a cup? Or a doggie bowl?'
Oh, Narcissa hated being good. They would see how long her filter lasted...Considering the state of things--It wouldn't be long.
 "Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire."

Alpha: In Aurelie's dorm finding the perfect dress.. Lillian had found Aurelie's attempts to get herself out of it. "Aurelie why are you worring about what people there will think of you?" Lillian said as the closet was being raided. "Seriously just strut your cute buns with confidence and it doesn't matter what you wear. Besides it's just the prom sure there is a bit more money thrown around for the event then your average prom."She had to give the blond credit she wasn't going to give in easily. Lillian stopped for a second looking at Aurie when she mentioned something about it wasn't the person she was supposed to meets fault. "That maybe but doesn't mean you can't keep another friend company does it?" Lillian said with a little pout. It idn't las though as she couldnt help but laugh when she was asked if she really just used folly in a sentence. "What is so surprising?" She asked her team mate granted Lillian was used to having a diverse vocaulary. The genuine curiousity and surprise of the blond tk user caused Lillian to quark and eyebrow. Was the word 'folly' really such an out of place word for people. Then she had a thought. "Wait I didn't use it in the wrong context did I?" Which caused Lillian to think about it a moment. "Oh believe you me if you went in your birthday suit you would certainly be the most popular belle of the ball." Granted Lillian was only saying these things all in good fun. She hoped her playful tone would tip her team mate off as it all being in jest. The search continued Lillian knew there was a dress in here that would be perfect. It wasn't long before the blond went back to the but woudln't you rather be there then here tactic. I was a funny thing watching her team mate trying to distract with a smile but the comment about not catching up didn't ellude the mimic's ear though she let it slide. So the search went on. It wasn't long before a perfect dress was located. She smiled brightly while holding it out to her team mate before telling her to go put it on. It didn't take Aurelie long to say she couldn't wear that. Frowning she looked from the dress to the blond picturing her in it. "And what's wrong with this choice? It's a lovely dress. Forget all that nonsense about them having to be dresses like the one I have." Lillian said still holding the dress out to her friend. She was about the mention not picking out the dress and that like other events Rogue just used her as a dress up doll. Then the thought occured to her here she was doing the same thing to her poor team mate and friend. Lillian was just about to tell Aurelie that she didn't have to go when the blonde spoke up first. This made Lillian smile. "You don't have to dance if you don't want, you don't even have to stay long if you really don't want. I just think you would have some fun. Besides it's a way for us to bond a little we have never really hung out much." Lillian said giving into the blond's condition. As Aurelie was changing Lillian spoke up. "If you don't have any fun. How about I let you pick the next activity we do my treat." She offered she didn't want the girl hating her. They were on the same team now it was good for missions if team mates got along. Kerrigan Schwartz Codename: Knoxx Team: Omega Location: Frontier University Current Thoughts: Untouchable? Roland stood there and took his lashing from their team leader, Kerrigan standing in silence as she looked on. Of course, she was less than enthused by the whole situation, but she could understand where he was coming from. Everyone had their "buttons," and this had to be a big one for him to justify that sort of reaction. When she got the silent demand from Cissa that she keep him out of trouble for the rest of the evening, it put a bit of a damper on her mood, but she'd be lying if she said she hadn't been expecting something like this to happen. Granted, she'd been hoping it wasn't her own date, but beggars couldn't be choosers. There were worse things that could have happened. Much worse. He seemed to hear her comment about nanny duty, looking to her after she gave him a little smack on the back of his head as well. The guilt in his voice was nearly unbearable as the redhead shook her head when he apologized for getting her into trouble. When he promised that he would make it up to her over the course of the evening, she couldn't help but chuckle a little bit, placing a hand on his shoulder. " Hey, just stop with the apologies. It's alright - I get why you did what you did. The guy was a total creep. But, she's right. We have to be careful, now more than ever. So, let's just get back to that fun part and enjoy the rest of the evening. As far as I'm concerned, it never happened," she said with a smile, leading him back out onto the dance floor so they could pick up where they left off. He still seemed hesitant to actually touch her, causing the redhead to laugh slightly. " You know, cooties are a myth, right?" Raising one eyebrow in amusement, she drew closer to him while they danced, the redhead actually enjoying herself at one of these functions for the first time in a long time. He wasn't bad company, though she wasn't sure if he seemed reluctant to place his hand on her because he was afraid of her, or her roommate. Maybe this was why she never got dates - if she didn't intimidate the hell out of them, Cissa sure as hell would. It was all coming together. Her peripheral vision caught sight of the blonde in question and her date approaching another couple that had just arrived - Aren and Raine. " That's trouble," she muttered to herself, green eyes lingering on the interaction long enough to see that Cissa was on the war path. It was almost worse than an actual altercation - she loved that blonde, but she could be ruthless and just downright cruel when she wanted to be. And there was nothing she liked more than to pick on an Alpha that was mingling a little too closely to her Omegas. While Kerrigan didn't necessarily have a problem with Raine, she knew better than to defend her. School drama was, put simply, a b***h.

Omega, Location: Prom Feels like I'm playing with fire, so let's let it all burn Roland let his boss have her death glare at him, among the many things he'd seen this was not exactly one that he could say frightened him. The number of times he'd seen that death glare from people, male or female, was far too numerous to count. They usually gave him that glare when he won a fight, and the fighter they bet on was on the ground bleeding profusely in a pool of their quickly leaking crimson. Ironically, as Narcissa leveled her doom-glare he could remember the warm blood on his face. He fought the urge to smile, that would likely result in him experiencing a fiery rebuttal, so he kept his face like stone, letting her have her deserved right of scolding a subordinate. He was soon drawn back to the dance floor by his date, who told him to not worry about it. Kerrigan seemed to understand in her own way his actions during this evening. Still, part of him wished he hadn't done that. He wanted this night, this one night, to go without him having to get his hands balled into fists. He took her word for it, and also took heed to Kerrigan's advice, to be careful with all the insanity of the air around them. He nodded and continued on the dance floor. She drew herself closer to him, remarking that "cooties" are in fact a myth. He had to chuckle to himself a bit. She was likely thinking of how Narcissa was keeping him from touching her. While part of him realized that he did need to be a gentleman, the other part of him realized that he needed to show her a good time. Which after that fight he just had, seemed to becoming along a whole lot easier now. Something inside him awakened, his heart pumped a bit harder, his body became a lot more fluid in motion, things just felt easier, seemed clearer, smelled sweeter. Something awakened in him, and he was going to run with it. A warm glow in his eyes accompanied his statement, "Oh I know they are. I was just trying to figure out when would be the best time to make a move." and he then placed a hand gently at her side, his fingers pressed down in a firm but gentle touch. And they continued to dance, his body becoming a lot more loose, his mind becoming a lot more oriented to the task at hand: enjoy himself with his beautiful date as best as possible. She remarked how their leader and her date began to approach his roommate and his date was going to be the start of trouble. "You may be right, so let's give them all a show worth the distraction?" he asked her, as he went in for something that could either make or break this night. He went with a dip, bringing her body close to him as he brought her down so she was nearly horizontal with the floor. His grip on her was strong and firm, fully confident that he was not going to drop her. The music changed to something that might be considered more appropriate for this kind of dance, and he had to smile at her. He looked at her with inquisitive eyes, the bright golden glow showing his excitement, "Care to show them how it's done?"

Team: AlphaxxxLocation: Prom - snack table
The brunette in her closet had a good point – why was she fretting about what people thought of her? Lillian had the self-confidence of a diva; it was easy for her to 'strut' her stuff, so to speak. The telekinetic on the other hand, usually had some air of self-esteem... but the whole fiasco at the mall had shook her confidence enough that she was left second guessing. “I don't know...” She sighed, covering over any hint that she was lying. “Mostly because I'm new to the Alphas... and I've already displayed how good I am on that level.” Even she couldn't stop her own sarcasm in that.
“I didn't throw down any money on this...” Like everyone else had. She'd pale in comparison to the other girls there – left as the plain Jane of Academy X. Even Alex had shelled out money on a suitable dress. “And being under-dressed is taboo.” How many times had she heard that from her sister, the fashion guru for New York City?
It hadn't been Dominik's fault that he'd been forced to make up his gym class... Well.. had he gone to class, he wouldn't have had to miss out tonight, but Aurelie wasn't dishing out those details to Lillian. Part of the reason she liked Dom was just for that – he fell short of the social norms, which made her far more comfortable around him. “I'd be more inclined to keep company with another friend if I didn't have to get dressed up for it.” The blond said with a wink, grinning so as to not offend her team mate.
Her diction was interesting to say the least – not many their age would use the word 'folly' in a sentence out loud. Or at all. The surprise caused the girl to second guess herself, and Aurelie could only shake with her laughter, brightening as she did so. “No, you used it correctly. I just don't think I've ever heard that actually used outside of books.”
After a moment, she straightened, and her giggles ceased long enough for her to continue with her teasing. “I think you've spent too much time around Dr. McCoy.” She stated honestly, believing he'd be the only person on campus who spoke like a walking thesaurus. “His habits are becoming your own.”
It didn't take long for Lillian to pull out one of the dresses that Aurelie's sister had sent her, and it was a shorter time still that she began to protest. The dress was short, stopping at above her knees, with ruched material that clung to her like a second skin. No doubt that when she sat the material would inch higher still, leaving a lot of her finely sculpted legs exposed... far more than what most would deem appropriate. The bodice area was embellished with gold studs, bringing more attention to the cleavage that would be pushed up for all to see. Definitely a dress for a college party, and not a high school dance. At the mimic's insistence, Aurelie cast aside her shorts and tank top and pulled the dress over her head. It fit just as she remembered – leaving no curve of her body neglected. She seemed a bit stiff in the dress at first, pulling at the skirt to make it appear longer, but that thought was soon abandoned as she felt it continue to slide up where it was supposed to.
Resigned that Lillian would not give up until she at least attended the event, Aurelie put on a bracelet and turned on her flat iron. “Well, if I'm going to go... we've got a little work to do.” She said, happy that Lillian wouldn't be one to push her onto the dance floor. “I guess a little bonding time won't hurt. But if not, you have yourself a deal on my picking out what we do next.”
* * *
Thirty minutes later, Aurelie was as ready as she was going to be. They'd decided against going with overloaded accessories – but her typical penchant for bangles was satisfied. She took a deep breath as she took another glance in the mirror; Lillian did good work. For the first time in many months, the telekinetic looked glamorous. Felt pretty. Granted, she was still convinced that she'd be outshined by the more elaborate dresses... but this would do for an evening out with a friend.“I guess it's time we're off.” She said appreciatively, grabbing the girl by her side, careful not to touch her so as to not be drained.
Dom had texted back, stating that tonight would be a late night, and so she was on her own in the way of being saved, so she'd left the cell on her desk – never one to carry it any way.
Once they got to Frontier, the butterflies that were typical of Aurelie when she was thrown into a new situation tumbled within her stomach. She took one last deep breath before getting out of the car, and walking towards the origin of the bass that she could feel vibrate her chest from the parking lot. “Sounds like the party is bumping already.” She remarked, slowing her pace so that Lillian could catch up.
The walk wasn't that far, but as they walked inside – there was much to be seen. From people dancing together, to what looked to be the set up for a war between the Alphas and Omegas... to refreshments. Immediately, she made her way there, hungry since her date had bailed on her and she'd not the chance to eat. “I think I want a snack, did you need anything?” She asked her companion, nodding towards the elongated table filled with treats.

Name: Leonardo Rossi Team: Alphas Location: Prom - Outside A New Omega? Oh. Guess I Was Wrong. As Tara made the comment about a brawl being a requirement for whatever gathering they went to, Leo nodded, saying, “Well, of course. I mean, look at what happened at the mall…” He was at the point now to where he could talk about it and not feel utterly guilty for what had happened. And to think a couple of weeks ago he was thinking about leaving because of the whole incident. Still, he couldn’t help but replay the incident over and over again in his head. It was chilling to think that he came that close to an associate of Magneto’s.
His date gave him permission to leave, to ‘get it out of his system’. She seemed to understand him – or rather, men in general – he would have been wondering about the identity of the new guy the entire night rather than have fun.
~~~
Bella’s approach and response quirked a warm smile to Leo’s lips; this had been the first time he had seen the songstress since coming back from the little escapade he had been on. She seemed to be doing well – already lonely though, he could tell. Jealousy wasn’t the only reason that Bella had scared those poor little kids out of the woods, the animal mimic was sure… or was it? He gave a small chuckle when she cut herself off in midsentence then claimed to not know anything about a word he was saying.
“Uh-huh…” Leo nodded at Bella, giving a small wink. “You know, if you ever need any comfort…” he made a hand-sign resembling a phone and placed it up to his face, mouthing the words ‘call me’. Anyone else would have seen it as some sort of pass… but it was far from it. Although Bella was technically ‘on the market’ as one would say… Leo really only saw her as a team leader and a friend.
The mysterious male revealed himself and made a comment about Bella being unable to forget what she heard later. Leo would definitely have to remember that… or just find some way to block Bella’s powers… Unlikely. Bella introduced him as Blake… and then identified him as an Omega. What’s comical is that Leo instantly knew which team the songstress was referring to when she said ‘devil’… you know you’re a real witch with a capital B when someone can call you Lucifer and it’s commonly known to be fact. Leo nodded back to the man, showing common courtesy.
Chuckling at Blake’s statement, Leo said, “Yeah, well, Cissa will more than likely make you worship her, whether you like it or not.” That was made Leo feel so fortunate to be on the Alphas. He doubted that he could willingly serve under the leadership of an authoritarian, conniving female again… he had already had enough of that.
Bella asked where his date was, to which he responded, “Oh, no… she’s still inside. I had to be a curious b*****d and see who the new guy was,” he nodded to Blake. “Plus, someone might have to scare you out of the woods too,” he smiled. It was meant playfully… but it could have been laced in truth. After all… two teenagers of the opposite sex by themselves in the middle of the woods at night? Yeah. That was the basic chemical formula for babies.
Name: Jacen Reilly [Kraken] Team: Omega Location: Frontier University “I’m not-“ Whatever Jacen was going to say was interrupted by Christian’s greeting. “Meh, It goes.” He replied, watching as the other Omega crossed to the punch bowl. “There you go Leion, if he says it’s cool, probably nothing to worry about.” Jacen grinned, slapping Leion on the back good-naturedly. Nevermind that Jacen had been the one worrying… … … … After idling around for what seemed like forever (fact: two and a half minutes,) Jacen Reilly was bored. He’d somehow managed to lose Leion in the crowd, and had gotten roped into talking to some underclassman about… Something. Maybe he himself was listening more-so than talking, but the point being this night was not nearly as laden with adventure as he had hoped. The other student mid-sentence, Jacen stood straight and started walking away, “chilly legumes dude.” He offered in farewell, moving towards the doors and the leaving the underclassmutant confused. Jacen paused as he stepped outside, glancing at the professor’s-turned-doormen-for-the-night with a deceptively innocent smile. Not that he had anything truly heinous planned, his mind didn’t really function like that. His idea of fun was more indirectly troublesome than that. The octOmega was on the roof in no time flat, skipping along the edge of what was either a 3 or 4 story drop absent-mindedly. After walking about for a bit, he spotted a student from the academy milling about below him. He didn’t immediately recognize him, which made Jacen think he was probably an Alpha. After a brief mental debate over going back to ground level after having ascended so recently, Jacen decided to greet Marcel. “Already bored of the party?” Kraken said after moving down the wall next to the Alpha. “It’s… Marshal right?”
"Ya'll Never Stop... You keep me on My Job.... And they be trying to Copy and Paste Me... Copy and Paste Me" "I'm on.... And I be in my zone... And they be trying to Copy and Paste me... Copy and Paste Me..." "Copy and Paste me" "I'm Gone" ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Marcel Porter ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀   Marcel had walked around the entire campus waiting for things to spark up in a sense or in basic terms, more people to show up. He wasn't too fond of crowds, so he would have to see how it all turned out. In the meantime, he was now back outside looking around. At times he had to ask himself if any of this wasn't boring in the slightest to him. It dawned on him that he wasn't quite exactly sure on what socializing was. He really needed a life. He then had a debate in his head on whether he was living or not. Questions spawned in his head like "What does it mean to be alive?" or "Does really living mean you aren't alive?" He could have hours of that in his head, probably until the entire event had ended. While debating to himself, he walked over to the fountain that spewed water out of it. He began toying around with the water as it continued to flow. He thought of several things he could do with it like making small formations in it as if some small creature like a bug was swimming in it. He thought about plugging up the spout that made the water flow out. That would have caused a problem, especially with the two professors near him. He didn't want to cause any problems so he continued to make forms and shapes to the best of his ability. One thing he was currently working on was making a cube and a pyramid out of the water without having it explode afterwards. He didn't want to get his suit wet, even though he could drain it.
It was at that moment that he heard someone say something. Of course at the time, he thought someone else was near that made the voice say something, but it was when he said 'Marshal" that made him turn around to face the person who was approaching him. "Marshal. That is an interesting name, I suppose. It's 'Mahr-sel", you know? It's like you're saying 'Mar-' from 'Mars' and 'Cell." He wondered if he was trying to figure out how to pronounce his name. If he wasn't and just guessed wrong, then he didn't want to seem like some complete smart aleck that would get him in trouble. He then thought of something quick while examining the person. "You could say it's boring in a sense. No one to talk to, not that I'm any good at it and I just found out what this was a few days back, so I have no idea what to do for that matter. So what brought you out here?" After examining him,he began to deduct as who he may be. He may have took some classes with him or it may have had something to do with running across him around the school at times, but he had to ask the name hoping that he would be corrected if it was wrong. "Uh...It's Jason right?"  "Copy, Paste. Copy, copy, paste" "They be trying to Copy and Paste me" "I'm Gone" ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Team: Alpha Code Name: Tsunami Location: Frontier University: Outside Ability: Hydrokinesis Thoughts: At least I have something to do for now ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ (( Crappy, but I hope it helps some, lol ))
 [ ʈ | ɦ | ҿ ➸ S | i | z | e | - | S | h | i | f | t | i | n | g ]xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxOmega - A night with RaineAn easy, lopsided grin crossed the native's features when Raine admitted that the class was often the worst for a lot of students – not just men from the sticks. “Kitty's a nice woman, but the class couldn't be interesting with even the most energetic person in front of the students.” Aren agreed, trying to imagine what person might have made the experience a little more enthralling, and coming up with no name. Government was just a dry subject, of that he was convinced.
That Raine found history boring intrigued him – they'd been required to take that on the reservation. Granted, there was a lot heavier emphasis on the native side of things. Biased, to say the least. But that was no different than how Americans weren't forced to take British history. “I like the stories behind history. Mostly the Siksika's... But I aced that class.” Given that he desired so much to be the tribe's Orator, that shouldn't come as a surprise. History would live on because of his role in the Blackfoot Nation. “It's easy to remember something if you like retelling the tales from the past from someone else.”
“That said, I doubt you had a medicine woman for your teacher.” In which case, he could forgive her for not adoring the subject as much as he. Most subjects were more about presentation than actual content.
His eyes shone a great pride as he delved into minor details about his culture, reveling in the fact that the brunette seemed truly interested, and was not just listening to his ramblings to be nice. The size shifter liked that about her – the girl had a genuine personality.
“I would too.” He admitted, smiling as he finished his last bite. Certainly, he'd make time to educate her on how he lived. As there was no better time to be had, if it was at all related to his home.
* *
His date carried with her a glow as they walked through the door, smiling at her friends as he tugged her along to the dance floor. The two worked in time together with the song, and for a moment Aren forgot everyone else was there, unlike his date – who kept staring at Felix and Narcissa. No doubt it would have come as a surprise to her that her speedy friend would take the Omega leader to the dance. Idly, he wondered if she'd heard about the kiss he'd planted on her, but given the brunette's shock, he doubted that anyone had told her.
Truthfully, he didn't think that Narcissa would feel the need to pester his date about who she'd one with to prom. Hadn't thought that she even wanted to attend the event. So when he'd asked the Alpha girl out, he'd not anticipated any bloodshed between their two teams. “She shouldn't burn you, considering it was me who asked you to come.” It wasn't as though Raine had twisted his arm into asking either – she'd been the first girl that had popped into his head when he considered possible companions for the evening, considering his favorite blond on campus wouldn't be caught dead at something as trite as prom. Nor would she have gone with him, when she was constantly trying to draw the lines he insisted upon crossing. That he thoroughly enjoyed crossing, if only to see her cheeks paint themselves red.
But just as soon as Raine had approached the situation, he realized Narcissa and Felix were headed towards them. Turning around to face what was an incredibly good looking British woman, Aren smirked, covering the scoff that would have erupted from his chest otherwise. Like a date would ditch him. “Raine and I had a quiet dinner first, and lost track of time talking.” He explained, chocolate eyes still kind despite the cool flavor to Narcissa's greeting, subtly correcting the name without overly emphasizing that she'd gotten it wrong. “I see you came tonight, ki'somma. I thought you against all things that were prom-related. ” His face was, perhaps for the first time, serious... almost apologetically. Maybe he should have asked her.
Always before, he was carefree. But the flippant nature of the sun goddess was enough for him to realize that at any given time, she might try and fry his date. Masking the look with a casual grin, he nodded to Felix. It'd only been there for a scant second – not truly long enough for it to register while Narcissa contemplated Raine's dress. No doubt she was inwardly disgusted that an Alpha had chosen to wear what she deemed her color.
Dimples predominant in either side of his mouth, Aren glanced at Felix, giving him a solid look up and down. “Looks like ki'somma didn't burn your more important parts off.” He teased openly, remembering the warning he'd given the speedster about asking Narcissa out on a date. “I figured after that sloppy kiss she would have for sure.” The way he said sloppy indicated that he meant it only in jest. It'd taken a lot of balls to do it, and he admittedly like that. The two Omegas were quite a deal alike... at least had the same taste in women. "No offense, of course." He said to Narcissa as an aside.
"Guess I was just disappointed to hear you let someone else get further along than me in that conquest." His voice was easy, smooth... full of mirth.
“Thanks for the offer...” He said in regards to the punch. ”But this native doesn't indulge.” He pointed a thumb back at himself to re-emphasize the point. Alcohol wasn't many of the Blackfoot's friend, and he didn't want to test it himself. A smile lingered on his face, dimples on either side of his mouth as he felt the blond's stare on his suit, insinuating things as always. "Especially not while when I'm charge of making sure a lady has a good time."
It was only because he knew the blond so well that he heard the insults so carefully concealed with her compliments, someone else may have mistaken her for actually being nice to an Alpha. Aren knew better – as would his date. But, it was eery – as if she were almost trying to be nice, for his sake. Not that he'd voice that aloud... call out the heiress in the middle of a crowd. For while it might have been true, the native respected her, and genuinely liked the bombshell.
Plus, who could call out a woman, when she looked so incredibly hot in that dress?
Her attempts to be cordial were looked over – the Omega knew exactly what his leader was trying to do, knew that she was trying to goad Raine into running off with discomfort, or possibly making a scene. “However, if either of you ladies would like to drink like a fish, I can assure you that Felix and I will make sure you get into your own beds tonight.” There was a wink that followed, almost as though it were as natural as breathing. Mostly because it was.
Aren knew Narcissa well enough to know that attempting to diffuse her would not work – it'd only stir up more ire. The best approach, then... was to play - and the game was on. “What do you say, Ki'somma?” The name fell off of his tongue like honey. “You trust Felix and I to take care of you? Chocolate eyes fell over appreciatively her form, letting her know very clearly what he thought of her ensemble. His hand found the small of Raine's back, marking her his for the night.
Tomorrow she could go back hating the Alphas. And he'd go back to being her size shifter. “You or Raine up for a few rounds?”
