A City Of Fools Mayvine A City Of Fools Mayvine A City Of Fools I understand that. I'm honestly helping him, because giving me that sort of thing is only going to help me in the long run. I'm honestly trying to make this LESS OP by not giving it a timer. Okay, how 'bout this then, that energy that needs to be released is uncontrollable and effects Red as well <.< It was already like that. o3o It wouldn't affect him as badly as it would anyone else, but it sure affects him. No it'd effect him all the same because the energy is "granted by the gods" and not his own <.< Not that it matters. I'd consider that sort of thing an instant kill or defeat for anyone his rank or lower. Then he'd insta-kill/defeat himself as well <.<

You don't want to give me that kind of ability.

May, I understand that this discussion with Wood is rather heated, but if you'd give a moment of your time to provide Fallen Hero with a little more constructive feedback on his weapon and how to change it so that it might be accepted I know he'll appreciate it... as it stands this hammer is his primary weapon (He HAS NOT been using it's powers, just saying that right now he's in weapon limbo which is no bueno for anyone...)

If you give me that sort of thing, at the last moment, I could use that. Giving em that would mean that I can never lose a fight. It will always be a win or a tie. Now, if you put some sort of thing on it where if I use some energy it wont happen, then it simply isn't effective as a bad thing. It's simply there. Never being used. Putting a time limit on it would basically be penalizing me if the person I'm RPing with is inactive. Either way, it serves no purpose that serves anyone well or ill. It is simply pointless. I only added it in as a pointless little side thing. All it would ever do is crackle a bit because Red uses his energy enough that it never reaches that point....

No you don't get what kind of restriction I'm putting on the weapon. You don't ever get to activate that effect on your own, it just happens. Maybe a timer via days isn't the best way to go about it, a certain number of posts. Now that would makes more sense. @Ferregar: I will never approve a weapon that controls gravity. It should be a power reserved for some kind of Bloodline, Talent or Class. So no his weapon isn't in limbo, it's in the void of never gonna happen stare

Just give him some suggestions of alternate abilities or powers that you would be willing to look more into.

It's even made of some non-existent element that allows for controlling gravity confused

(Quoting him on this so he might take some of this as feedback) No, it's not impossible. Strip it of that element. Talk more physics than gravity. It's a big a** hammer, so for example why not recommend that more of his skills have to do with smashing force and momentum than gravity, since gravity is just a more open ended way to make his hammer do crazy smashing things. Maybe it can smash fissures through the ground at higher rank, or cause an earthquake, or make impact craters when he makes a leaping attack with the hammer... things like that. Forget the whole gravity thing altogether and twist it into something more feasible. You've been arguing with Wood for nearly 3 pages now, and all you gave him was a flat denial without any manner of feedback. Not saying that you don't have that right, but he put some clear thought into the weapon and I'm sure he'd like to be able to use the hammer, regardless of whether or not it has gravity control, sometime soon.

That's pretty much what I was planning on doing, haha. I had only first submitted it as the gravity control part would even be possible. As it isn't, I was going to remake it with different abilities and no gravity, kind of like what you said. Thanks for the ideas, though, dude. ^_^
