Lol poor summer vacationers, -> don't feel bad Xeks, I don't get summers off either. Though I got my new message and I'm not moving until January now.

My idiot neighbors, who actually had a firetruck come tell them to put put their (really poorly made bon fire) in their backyard (as we have a fire ban) are now lighting FIRE WORKS.....

Right....cause having 'fire' in the descriptive name doesn't indicate what it does at all.

God I hope they get a ticket or something. Their family bugs my family just because they constantly exhibit this lack of common sense.
Plus their yard looks like something that belongs in a 'less well off' neighborhood so to speak.

I would probably be driven nuts if I had to live surrounded by people with no common sense. We're surrounded by nice people otherwise. But these guys are just ..weird. They don't even talk to us and they're our closest neighbors.

They PAY their SON to make sure his sister gets out of bed in the morning, otherwise she just wouldn't go to school. She'd just stay in bed. What kind of attitude is THAT? The girl is almost 13! I was getting myself up, dressed, lunch packed and WALKING the 2.3 KMs to school every day, which includes locking the house door and giving the dogs water when I was in grade 1.

I would SO call a truant officer the first time she pulled that on me. Just to come talk to her and scare the crap out of her. OR as this is my hypothetical kid we're talking about. I'd get her the scientific proof that shows how no education = poorer economic/social status. effectively, how she's ruining her life.

I like how, as a girl, I can pull these random tangents when I have absolutely no experience in the field. ^.^ Just because I have a chromosome that supposedly makes me more intrinsically inclined towards child rearing; according to some random social belief that was perpetuated by sexist thinking over the course several hundred years that is probably mistaken anyway.


Just gah. Everyone in my old neighborhood was super connected. Well except the one family. But they were odd in general, and no one really considered them authorities on anything thank goodness. Their kids were weird too come to think of it.

I just had one attack, they got me in a whole bunch of odd places, I discovered one on my middle toe today. 0.e...A TOE. C'mon.

Three on myeft knee and shin. One on my stomach and another a couple inches under.my collar bone.

Yeah I was in my running gear, but still...I found one on my back...ish yesterday after my shower. I KNOW I was wearing shorts there....little friggers. I need to run again. But night shifts tomorrow and the next day. I'm supposed to finish on this floor as of Monday but I have heard NOTHING! It's so frustrating. I want off this floor and into my final ONE month of placement so I can get out of there period.

I've been at thisvhospital wayyyy too long.
