Lillian tilted her head in thought. Then she nodded. "Yeah. I'm fine with it. They weren't exactly...interesting to me," she said. Her amber eyes narrowed. "Are you planning to just barge in?" she asked. Which, to her, sounded a bit rediculous. But then again, what did she care? Action was action. And the best part was doing something stupid. Right?

~~ "No, I plan on ringing the doorbell." replied Shadow sarcastically, although his face didn't show any emotion. He walked out.
"Please excuse Mr. Ultimate Lifeform," apologized Rouge, putting a hand on her hip, looking at Lillian, "He forgot to take his nap this morning." She smirked slightly and followed Shadow. ~~

Lillian rolled her eyes. "Well, someone better give him his blanket." she said, her tail swaying amusedly. She ruffled her ears and chuckled to herself. "What's your guys' names?" she asked. "You can call me Lillian."

(Darn. Wish I thought of a simpler thing. Cause Lillian the White Tiger is longer. >: p Oh well. xD)
Lillian smiled. "Cool. I like your name, Rouge." she said. She started to follow them before halting, looking back and at a table. She rushed over, grabbed a small metal bar that was only fifteen inches across. She slipped in her pocket and hurried after Shadow and Rouge. "There," she said, smirking, "My a** is out here."

Lillian made a mimicking face of Shadow. "Mr. Business, huh?" she asked, crossing her arms. "Fun." She chuckled. She walked on Rouge's left side, her bright amber eyes glancing around every few seconds. Better be prepared.

~~ "Basically." Rouge sighed. They walked down the hall before reaching another choice of passages to go. One was up a staircase to their left, the other straight ahead, and the other a staircase leading downward. "This way." Shadow said, ascending one of the 'cases. ~~

Lillian could get a feeling of where they were heading. She felt herself groan quietly. "Jesus, this guy is all business," she mumbled. Glad I grabbed Xanon, she thought, referring to the little metal bar she had grabbed earlier. She cast a glance behind her, just in case.

~~ For about ten minutes, the trio walked down hallway after hallway, every once and awhile turning a corner or choosing yet another path out of several. Nothing jumped out and attacked, shot out at them, electrocuted them, et cetera. Finally, Shadow stopped upon reaching the end of a passage, where there was yet another door that looked like less the security been shut off it would be locked tight. He placed his palm on it, and it slid aside. The hedgehog entered. Rouge glanced back at Lillian, then followed.
Beyond that door was a dark, metal room. On the left wall was about eight, thirty-inch monitors, all off. It had cabinets with files, papers, blueprints and charts, as well as several things pinned to the wall, such as a giant map. Infront of said map was a black desk. The chair behind it held a man who looked around sixty, with three visable veins on the side of his head. His hair was short and grey. He had one leg crossed over the other, his hands together, elbows on the smooth, hard steel surface of the desk.
"Commander." Shadow said calmly, eyes narrowed slightly at him.
"Shadow. I was expecting you."
"I know."
"I see you brought Miss Rouge along, as well. A pleasure to see you, my dear."
Rouge rolled her eyes. "I wish the feeling was mutual, Commander."
"I was also told you released Lillian from her sleep?" ~~

Lillian shifted upon hearing her name spoken by the Commander. "Hi there, Commander," she said a bit dryly. It made her a bit uncomfortable. She almost reached into her pocket to touch Xanon just in case. But she stopped herself. Instead, she stood there firmly by Shadow and Rouge, hoping that things didn't go too badly.

"Hello, Lillian." The Commander looked at Shadow. "Now Shadow--"
"You are unarmed, and entirely helpless. Meaning you have no choice but to answer my questions."
"I see there's no talking you out of this." The commander sighed. "What do you want to know?"
"Why did you try to lure me here?"
"You see, we required some forces on our side. Yet those forces were not willing to ally with us. So, we compromised, and they accepted our proposal. In return for their help--"
"In return you hand me over?" Shadow narrowed his eyes.
The Commander nodded. "We figured since you had already rebelled and unofficially quit G.U.N and we were tracking you down anyway, it was a reasonable bargain."
"Judging that you manage to get me, which you won't. Next question...What did you do with Tails and Cream?"
"Your friends are safe...for now. They're being carefully watched."
"Let me see them."
"As you wish." The Commander spun his chair slightly, holding up a remote and pointing it at one of the monitors, which flickered on as he pressed a button. It showed the room that Shadow, Rouge, Rosemary, Zach, and Desiree had seen when Tails contacted them earlier. Cream and Tails were sitting on the edge of the two cots. Cream was swinging her legs. Leaned against the wall with his arms crossed was a strange, black-cloaked figure. They could not see his face, due to his cloak's hood covering it. ~~

Lillian swiveled her ears foward, listening to the Commander. New forces? That part hadn't been determined to her. Her brows stitched together in thought. So basically they planned on using Shadow for a negotiation? That sucked. As the screen turned on she looked towards it. Her ears flattened slightly at the sight of the black claded figure. It seemed a bit intimidating to her. And the other two looked young. Much younger than her, anyways. Though she wasn't familiar with the them, she was glad to see them okay. For now. It probably had to do with her motherly personality towards younger kids. She turned her eyes back to the Commander.

Cream sighed, her naturally-drooping ears drooping even more.
"Shut up." growled the figure.
"But I didn't even say anything! I just sighed!" complained Cream, looking over at him.
"Doesn't matter."
"That's not fair.." Cream crossed her arms, frowning. "I have to speak to shut up."
"Fine. Shut up." The voice sounded familiar to both Rouge and Shadow, but they couldn't place their fingers on it.
"As you can see, your friends are safe." said the Commander, turning his chair to face Shadow.
"Leave the monitor on." said Shadow, returning his attention to his ex-boss.
He nodded. ~~

"What a jerk," Lillian muttered. "Might as well put them in the same room as an old man with angina." She crossed her arms and continued staring at the Commander. She didn't like him much, or this situation, at all. But then again she could feel the excitement, or whatever that feeling that's not good or bad that appears in your stomach, building.
