Ayamae sets a cauldron full of what appears to be water on her desk. She then writes upon the chalkboard "NO FLAMES, NO WANDS NO SPARKS UNLESS YOU FEEL LIKE KILLING YOURSELF AND EVERYONE AROUND YOU, PLUS EVERYONE WHO IS ONE FLOOR UP AND DOWN FROM US." She then places a sign on the cauldron that says "WARNING: SPLOSION POTION!"

Lena took the nearest seat and, looking at the front of the classroom she immediately noticed the note on the board. For a moment, she wondered what that was all about; it all looked really serious. She took out her potions book and leafed through it, in search of the ‘Spolsion Potion’. She couldn’t find anything about it in her book so she got up and looked into the cauldron from her desk. It seemed to be nothing but water.. Was it that dangerous? She sat back down and, not wishing to die or kill anyone, she stowed her wand into her bag. Lena got out more potions books, in search of information about that strange potion.

Sparrow walked into the potions room and immediately saw the notice on the board. Her eyes widened and she quickly stuffed her wand in her bag. She wondered what the lesson was going to be and kind of didn't want to know.

Heart blinks at the new lesson. This will be fun...? She carefully puts her wand in her satchel, then takes out some writing equipment, taking notes.

Charlotte Talcio----First Year-----Ravenclaw
Charlotte looked inside her deep, black cauldron. Charlotte had gotton all of the ingredients she had needed. 1 toad spleen, 1 cup of black tea, 3 cups of water, 2 teaspoons of honey, 1/2 a tablespoon of powdered dragon scales, and 1 cup of lemon juice. She mixed it with her unicorn horn wand and saw the strange light blue liquid mixture the ingredients had created. A poof of light blue smoke popped up. Charlotte backed away but had a very slight dizzy feeling. "I guess that's the feeling it makes," Charlotte thought.

Splosion.. It does sound a whole lot like explosion. Maybe it causes huge explosions? Not knowing how dangerous the potion was and not wishing to jeopardize anyone’s life, Lena remained seated at her desk, wondering what the effect of the potion was. She thought it might cause explosions.. But how? She asked herself. Can a potion just.. explode? Maybe a spell has to be performed and that’s why wands are to be put away? She stared at the cauldron, unblinking, deep in her own thoughts as she tried to figure out the use of the potion.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra started stunned at the board and she took her wand and stored it deep down into her bag so that no harm would come to her... The potion sounded particularly dangerous for the class, but thats what added excitment to their dull lives at Hogwarts. ...7th Year Slytherin

Ravenclaw, second year... ::Sabrina pokes her head into the classroom door. Cautiously, she steps inside and sits down at her desk.:: I'm sorry that I'm so late, professor. What should I be working on?((Sorry for the long absence. College double major-ing and the terrible weather where I live has kind of hindered everything for the last month or so... ^^;;; ))...Where those of wit and learning will always find their kind.

Ayamae pulled out a cigarette and lit it with her wandtip. She walked over next to the cauldron on her desk and began to smoke it. "Ahhh that's relaxing."

Sparrow blinked as she saw professor light a cigarette couldn't that make the potion explode? Sparrow nervously said, "Pr-Professor uh-umm couldn't the umm cigarette accidentally cause the umm potion to umm explode?" Sparrow didn't really want to say anything but she was really worried and professor probably knew what he was doing. Sparrow then regretted saying what she had.

Ayamae gets a little closer to the cauldron. "Oh, I'm sorry, Sparrow, am I making you nervous?" She blows a steady stream of smoke into the air lazily.

Ayamae chuckled and put the cigarette out in the cauldron. "Just lovely. This reaction leads us into our next potion!" She wrote the words "Calming Solution" on the chalkboard. "You may all relax. No one's going to explode today. Maybe next week."
