 Amelia realized she was hunched over, hugging herself. With effort she straightened, but was unable to unwrap her arms. In a strained voice she replied, "I'm fine." She knew she probably should elaborate more--to prove her point, but right now only the plants filled her. "What is it?" she asked, trying to fill the space away from herself.

Ginelle felt awful. She had been neglecting this class, because she had no clue what herbology really was. She knew that it must have been about plants, but the magical plants of the wizard world scared her, just like magical creatures did. She came in and said "Professor, I really should appologize to you. I haven't been here, and I feel bad..." Unknowingly, she took a seat next to Amelia. She looked at her, and saw that she wasn't doing too good. Without saying anything, she put an arm around her and smiled. Then, she dropped her arm and started to take out her equiptment.

The brief contact helped settle Amelia, to clear her mind enough to block out the mental screams. Looking around she asked no one in particular, "Do you guys hear that?" she tried not to sound crazy. But she could have sworn there was a physical scream too. It wasn't just emotional pain. But what it was, she had no idea. A part of her wanted to go check it out; but she was scared to go alone. Besides, she tried to reason with herself, she couldn't begin to tell what it was from.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearSeeing Ammy settle slightly, Olli glanced around. "Yeah, but it's really quiet now..." she whispered. She glanced at Ammy, who seemed very curious to the cause of the sound. "Shall we investigate?"

Amelia, though still scared witless, nodded. What if the plant was in actual danger? Or someone else was? Trying to keep herself steady, to be her father's daughter, Amelia glanced up at Olli, "I couldn't tell; do you think it's in this greenhouse?" The greenhouse they were in were considered beginner plants. This one would be a lot safer than any others.

( Amelia Frances I was gonna make it up because there haven't been any noted uses for them. Well, make them up/discuss but since my question got neglected I thought I'd start this instead)
While the pupils talked amongst themselves, gentle puffs of wind blew down on them. It wasn't in a violent way, but it is too dark to see anything but slight shapes.
The sound of leaves rustling echoed through the room, and more screeching could be heard, the air was no longer still, but increasingly dry.

Amelia shuddered as the gust blew over her, but this time did not echo the screams. "That way." she pointed in the direction the wind came from, figuring it had to be from the source. She was scared. She could only admit it to herself, who knew it would be herbology that scared her most?

(It's ok. But a hint, this is kind of related to that.)
The wind changed direction as Amelia turned to its old direction and as it did, most rustling could be heard. Screeches were increasing, they sounded hollow and melancholy. As though whatever was making the noise was in need of something.

Amelia shuddered and said in a whimper, "It wants something." Her face contorted into worry as she asked herself, "What do they want? Food?" She'd stopped moving, trying to figure out where the screeching was.

Amelia turned to Olli, her eyes wide, "Go outside when they're in need?" Then she saw her friend's face, and realized what she was doing. Shaking her head as if to clear it, she tried again, "I'm fine, its just don't those screeches sound...desperate? Not scary?" It was the best cover up she could come with at the moment.

 ⒩⒜⒯⒣⒜⒩⒤⒠⒧ ⒲⒜⒭⒟ - ２ｎｄ ｙｅａｒ Nathaniel didn't do well in mischevious situations like this. Although his tongue could be sharp, his loyalty immeasurable, his bravery needed some work. He sat, counting the seconds until this was over. Even if curiosity took him over, Nathaniel remembered that it kills.

Amelia nodded, grateful that they truly did sound that way, "Just because they're plants doesn't mean we can ignore it? And who knows, what if its human?" That she highly doubted, but there was enough of a possibility to use it to convince Olli to come with her. She wasn't in Gryffindor for a reason: she was scared witless.

Ginelle listened, and watched. She wasn't nearly as frightened as some of the other kids had been, such as Amelia. She wondered why they felt like this. The winds were changing directions, and the screams weren't out of agression, or so it seemed. She watched Amelia carefully. "Amelia, you do know that nothing bad could happen, right? Headmistress sing and Vice-Captain Kalle would never allow it.." Ginelle thought about it for a moment: She had never been in physical danger at this school yet, and she hoped she never would be.
