Amy laughed. "Shoes are good! I can't transfigure those. Boots are my favorite, though. But still the lines just about drive me insane. The weird shops... Yeah, gotta love those. You can find some really useful stuff there. Antique shops are the best."

Amy's eyes widened. "She woke up in the field of flowers?! Oh my gosh! That's brilliant! I hope she wasn't too sunburned or anything. But man... That would be classic! Even better if she smelled like flowers for awhile after that."

Amy giggled. That mental picture would be with her for a long time, which she was glad for.

But then she looked confused at the next thing Dame said. "Wait... You like shopping for office and school supplies? Is that because you're a teacher?"

Amy smiled and laughed at what Dame was saying, but when she got to the part about how she 'was' a teacher, she smiled sadly and shook her head.

"I remember what happened Dame, but I don't really see how a person can ever stop being a teacher. I mean, and this might just be my opinion, but I really think being a teacher also becomes a part of who a person is. You help people learn all the time, and it's just in you, Dame. I mean, heck! You still like shopping for new school and office supplies. You like the smell of it."

She smiled gently at Dame. "Just because you don't have a job as a teacher right now doesn't mean you aren't one. In my opinion, anyway."

Amy smiled gently at Dame. "Well, that's all paperwork and legal stuff. The true essence of being a teacher is inside of you."

She rolled her eyes at herself and laughed. "Great. Now I sound like a fortune cookie."

She saw the lady come in to work at the front desk again and saw her reaction to what Dame had said. If Dame didn't seem worried about it, though, then Amy wouldn't worry about it.

When Dame started talking about doing what she loved, Amy grinned brightly and nodded. "That's right! You teach kids how to dance! So see, you are a teacher still, despite what that committee says. And yep, going along with your definition and mine of being a teacher, we're all teachers. Though... I won't be teaching the kittens much anymore. They're getting older and I need to find homes for them. I'm going to miss them. At least I get to keep one, though."

Her smile lessened slightly.

Amy nodded. "True. Most people would have a problem with their child's teacher being in jail for any reason. But just the idea of some committee thinking they have the right to strip someone of their title that they worked so hard for. Though being in jail usually is a choice people make... sometimes..."

Amy groaned slightly and then chuckled. "There are just so many different situations, and no area seems to be black and white. But yes, I definitely say you're still a teacher."

Amy tilted her head to the side and considered Dame's suggestion on bringing the kittens here. "Well... how high is your turn out rate? I mean, would they likely be adopted relatively soon? I absolutely hate the thought of them having to be somewhere without a family for so long..."

Amy looked very relieved. "Oh thank goodness. You know, that might be the best option, then. If I can't find anyone to take them home in this next week, I'll stop by and drop them off! I'll probably stop by and see them nearly every day... Yeah, great for separation anxiety. And I know you guys will take great care of them. I just don't want them to be scared when I leave them or have adjustment problems."

Amy sighed. "I think I'll go home and play with them right now. I'll keep you updated on what I plan to do, though. Thank you so much for the advice, Dame. And seriously, if you do get to the point you need help, just let us know. Thank you, and I'll see you later. It's been fun."

She thought about it for a moment, and then she leaned forward and hugged Dame with her free arm while her other arm held Thistle out a little bit so she wouldn't get squished. Then, she quickly went out the door with Thistle squeaking her goodbye as they left.

"Bye!"

-smiles at Grace awhile longer as the woman click-clacks slowly on the keys of the keyboard and moves the mouse. Finally, dame smirks, stands back up, and heads towards the door- See ya later, Grace. -waves with her back to the receptionist- You have a great day. -dame chuckles and goes through the door-


-a tense moment or two later, Grace exhales and plops back in her chair, relieved- sweatdrop gonk crying

Sakura made her way into B.A.R.C. next and placed a few bubble blowers in the office with a confused look from the receptionist. She then made her way to the animals and blew a few bubbles for them with a smile before handing one of the blowers to the woman behind the desk and left just as abruptly without saying a word.
