Shane: denied, your reason is kind of dodgy for your rpc to have something like that. also the weakness is really pointless. Not having a talent is far less of a weakness than using S rank abilities at lower ranks.

ronnel: I will accept this if you change it to Immunity to Succubus's seduction. You would still be affected by incubus's seduction, but only if they were higher rank than you. and there are plenty of ways to make it seem like shane has left you, so you'd die awful quick.

Urban: I will accept this if you make it so that You have to start with a Clean slate each time you die. You keep all your memories, but start back at trainee rank.

Nerd: I'll accept this, but i don't want you just posting touching dragons and having them stay calm while you assimilate their powers. violent monsters won't sit still.

You guys do know I have s**t to do right?
I have a life. I do other things aside from gaia right now.
I have one more day of drivers ed.
This part of the year is when most of my family was born.
I'm in high school.

I forget s**t.
Now if you guys don't mind, kiss my a**.
I'll get to it when I can. Like DG, I forgot. Purely.
I don't ignore you guys, I don't just leave it be for no reason.
Now that I'm pissed off and read everyone's complaints about me, let me just go over everyone's s**t.

Didn't your mothers ever tell you not to piss off your waiter or waitress?

Edit: Claru: OVERIDDEN! I'm doing this now that I read everyone's complaints, thus I will be biased as s**t.

The s**t claru just said is invalid, and only his opinion.

THERE!

Darion: 4 energy is NOT going to work. Try D rank energy. Other then that, it's kosher.
Wood: Gimme a minute, I gotta read your s**t. b*****d, typing so much.
Fox: Another day then. That's if your still working on it.
Demon: Who the hell is Pein?
Fall: No. Not even. It's restricted, and that my friend is a waste of talent.
Ronnel: Approved.
Nerdbot: Approved.
Snuff: Like Claru said. It alters the BL TOO much.
DG: More weaknesses. Saying "Well i have to get all the skills approved" is a bullshit weakness.

Claru: My things are the ONLY things Fen will come here for. And he is the only one who approves my things. Purely because I make things that are very powerful, and if left unchecked will cause mass hysteria four hours later when he finds out about it.

By the way, Fenrir said my weakness was valid. And I agree.

Since:

As an Adept, I can use E-A. I can't use my classes S ranked abilities until master, but I can learn other S-ranked abilities at expert. This is simply allowing for myself, an adept, to learn only TWO higher ranked abilities. One is A, which I am allowed to learn, and one is S. Basically, I'm just adding one bloodline S to my repertoire. Which is hardly worth not having a good talent once I reach master. My other strength is so small it's unnoticable, it'd be like him going from ''9/10'' to ''9.5/10'' in attractiveness and charm. Assuming he is that high already, which I doubt. And since people won't even note his increased charm and attraction when I'm trying to seduce them, since they probably won't even look at my talents, it probably won't even matter.

: (

Fine.

It's just, I learned Kiss of Death, which is A ranked, but didn't realize it was restricted to master until after learning it. I'm going to keep it in my skill list, just never learn it. I also wanted to learn that sinful art whatever skill, since it'd make things alot easier at my rank. : D

I guess I'll just think of another talent. : (
PostPosted: Sun Nov 14, 2010 5:45 pm

Shane: Well, wait a while. Keep it in the list and when you have the ability to learn it, it's there.

WOOOD!: I love you man. But your talent is denied as ********. That s**t scares the neighbors, and the weakness just isn't balancing the whole deal. Sorry hombre.

You guys ought to thank wood. If I hadn't come across him first, most of the talents wood have been denied on the spot.

Kagetsukiko
I hope that this is better. Yeah, it didn't really change all that much, but I did take away the major points of the void and energy attributes. Now, the energy attribute is practically non-existent unless some world-shaking arc comes up and the void attribute only keeps seers from seeing Nai's future and past and keeps succubi and incubi from attracting her. Is that better or no? Rip away >_< .
EDIT- I also added a weakness that allows Nai to learn only chaos skills up to her rank. If more weaknesses are needed, I can also add that learning chaos skill take more posts than learning regular skills. Oh, and if anyone complains about dismantling skills taking only half of the energy used to create them, remember that gunslingers only use half of the normal energy for skills already. I'm just bringing that aspect over into this talent.

RPC Name: Nai
Rank: Adept
Talent Description: Through a strange and somewhat chaotic combination of void and energy, Nai can defragment any energy-related skills by accessing them with her potential for energy control and then splitting their energy "program" with her potential for void control. The result is a mass of chaos that can't really be used for much.

By integrating her own energy into the energy of another person's, Nai can wreak havoc to it and throw the energy of an energy-related skill (any skill that sends out a burst of energy, not only arcanist skills, and including elemental magic, necromancer skills, and bard skills) into a mass of useless chaos. To do this, though, she must first analyze the energy of whatever she is targeting to understand how it needs to be broken up. In order to fulfill this requirement, Nai must either see the skill she wishes to disable at least three times or analyze the skill (if it's a long-lasting skill like a seal or a barrier) for at least three posts. After understanding the energy make-up of whatever she wants to dismantle, she then needs to use half the energy used initially for the skill she is targeting to disable it (this amount changes in certain circumstances). Nai can also do the same thing with void-related and chaos-related skills.

In addition to the main branch of the talent, there are two minor branches of Nai's special ability.
Energy- Nai is able to somewhat feel the energies and auras around her. While this is nowhere near strong enough to be used effectively in most situations, she is able to tell whenever something drastic happens (ex: if she's transported to a completely different world, if there's some drastic arc-involving change in the world)
Void- Like energy, Nai also has a slight tinge of void in her talent. Neither Nai's future nor past can be seen by seers and she is completely immune to the advancements of succubi/incubi.

There are a number of other possible skills for this talent, but they must be learned and will be applied for in the custom skills thread.

An additional perk is that, because of the volatile mixture of energy and void, Nai's time will eventually stop and she'll stop aging. When? It is currently unknown….

Talent Weakness: Nai cannot have the regular elements, a result that makes sense if the chaos that results from her combination of void and energy is seen as her own, personal element. In addition, she must be in charge of her body while using her talent. She can use it with her sin (if she ever gets it) but the sin must not be the main conscious. When dealing with mages, necromancers, bards, and/or clerics, Nai must use 3/4 of the skill's energy instead of the usual half to disable their class-specific skills (note: class-specific skills refer to necromancer skills for necromancers, energy skills for arcanists, music skills for bards, etc.). Regardless of what her rank can learn, Nai is only able to learn chaos skills up to her rank.
How did the character get this talent?: Nai has always had an unknown past, made even more mysterious by the fact that her first memories involve the blood and death of the constant slave battles she was forced to participate in. However, there is something special about her, present by the fact that she managed to survive the world she came from long enough to gain her freedom. This talent is also, understandably, connected to her unknown Quicksilver bloodline and will be her first hint of it: a mixture of void and energy that creates a chaotic element that is enough to slow down time. How she got either her talent or the bloodline, the girl doesn't know.

Sample: Nai dodged as many of the arcanist's Halcyon's as she could while disabling whatever she couldn't dodge. She had seen another arcanist use the skill before so the girl knew the "program" for the skill.

However, Nai had definitely never seen the large blast of energy that suddenly came to her from the side from what seemed to be a floating mirror of sorts. Apparently, the mirror was a custom weapon, explaining why the girl had been unable to identify the attack and, as she defended and dodged against the blows, she observed each attack from the mirror whenever she could. The task wasn't easy. With the seer still firing numerous halcons and with the moving mirror shooting out blasts whenever Nai least expected it, she became wounded quickly.

Finally, though, Nai learned the trick to the mirror blast and, rushing towards the mirror as it fired at her, stopped the energy blasting from it and smashed the reflective glass with her tonfa. The annoying weapon gone, the girl then looked around for the seer she had been in charge of tracking, only to find her target gone. Nai did nothing but look for a few more minutes before settling down to quickly deal with the numerous wounds on her body. She didn't worry too much about losing the seer. Her partner, who's job it was to catch the seer after Nai herded her to him, would be able to deal with the target.

Umm.... I'm sorry if I'm annoying anyone, but mine was kind of ignored >_< ....

No Kage, not at all. Your someone I have tolerance for. And you haven't been complaining. That and I completely missed it because people have been complaining so much.

But I'm half and half on this talent. It's good and bad. I also think there could be more of a weakness. And 3/4? Why not 1.25? That way, you'll be spending larger amounts then your enemy, and have to think before you just start defusing attacks.
PostPosted: Sun Nov 14, 2010 6:00 pm

RPC Name: Raphael Giletti
Rank: Adept
Talent Description: Raphael's attacks, even elemental attacks, send pulses of pleasure throughout the enemies body. This will make them ALOT easier to seduce, leaving them to have a strong attraction for Raphael, making them quite vulnerable to seduction. This is because the attacks all carry a small amount of energy. It is called ''desiderio,'' respectively ''lust,'' in Italian. This not only makes them easier to seduce when holding the energy within them, (the energy can be removed by some people, though verrrry unlikely, since they'll not even notice its potentially harmful effects) but makes them weaker to the Incubi abilities. For example, a Kiss of Death will draw B ranked energy instead of C, and it is the same for Seductive Bite and all Incubi moves which draw energy.

Talent Weakness: Enemies will not feel any pain from his attacks, making them less likely to flinch, etc. They will also not notice if their bones are breaking/etc, making them always just as ferocious regardless of their current situation. Though this could be seen as a weakness due to strain, the energy has a bad effect: It helps keeps their body together, regardless of how insanely they are using it. All attacks, simple or not, now cost 3 extra energy. Since he now uses 3 energy per attack, his amount of attacks is highly limited, making many battles to the point where if he doesn't finish them off within a few minutes, they'll finish him off.
How did the character get this talent?: Training under Lust.
Sample: I'll add this if it gets approved.

So, 1.25 for bards, arcanists, necromancers, and clerics or 1.25 for everyone?

The reason why I said 3/4s is because that's already more than what I'll normally spend on a skill. That, and other than bards (who could probably just make a skill to drop a couple of rocks on me with music), all of those classes have a boost in energy either way.

Considering that you think this talent needs more weakness, I'm guessing that means I should put in something about chaos skills taking more posts (about 1.5 sounds right to me) to learn.

Oh, also, I just noticed that you asked who Pein is. If I'm right in thinking that the Pein being referred to is the Pein from Naruto, then it's some guy who can control eight different bodies at once, and by control, I mean stick his conscious (memories and all) into all of them at once and have them all act as if they shared one mind (which they technically do). They're not just your run-of-the-mill puppets. For a good while, he was the main baddie and what everyone thought was the leader of Akatsuki until Naruto defeated him (no duh). After that, we all find out that it was just an elaborate ruse made by the masked freak who keeps on saying "Tobi is a good boy" (the masked freak's name is Tobi) and that the real leader was actually Tobi (who's real name is Madara).
