"Well, you're quite a pretty little creature, aren't you?" Jenn was cooing to the rental ponyta she'd been partnered up with, stroking his neck with the gentle hand of an animal hover. The would-be trainer was grinning at the flaming beast when she heard the sound of the the Express lines rolling out. "Oh shoot!" Flondering for a moment, she quickly tied the red fabric strip around the ponyta's neck in a loose scarf-like knotted fashion. The black-haired girl undid his pen, and scrambled onto the ponyta's back. Grabbing her backpack of a hanger, they plodded out of the stables, and into the muddy area around them.
She saw the Express leaving, and vaugely her group. Which was of course the farthest away. "Gahh. Em, rental ponyta, could you get me to the farthest up group, the red one?" The flaming horse seemed to pause for a moment, then nod and dive off in the direction of the other people and would-be trainers. "Whoa, erm thank you!" She managed to say as the ponyta faithfully wove his slim self through the other groups and into the back rows of her own crimson-clad people. "Well, I'm on my way, finally. Thanks, ehm, I'll just call you Sir, okay?" She asked the Ponyta, as she hadn't caught what it's name was. The pokemon nodded, and seemed to like that name.

It was all going well and dandy for the purple group, of course! Nothing could go wrong with the team who had Teddy as a member. As a matter of fact, they were CLEARLY superior.
If Teddy and Geezer were actually with their traveling group.
Teddy's assumption of Geezer's age had proven to be on point. His tired/casual stride barely made them both out of barn before the announcement of their departure. Not only that, but the saddle was far from comfortable.
" This is why I hate rental Pokemon. They always suck. " The princessTeddy was clearly displeased.
But as time passed the duo eventually caught up, to a certain extent. Geezer was going at such a perfect pace that he was neither part of the purple group or the green. But right smack in the middle of the two. Which worked rather well for the trainer. Not like he wanted to share the experience with any of them.

"It's Kary," the chubby trainer said. She would have offered to shake hands but that probably wasn't a good idea while riding. "I hope it doesn't start raining again, I could go for some good sunshine about now."
Boss huffed at the Ponyta and stamped a hoof, but didn't try to get ahead of him. <Relax,> he said in a warning tone of a gruff old man who didn't like to fool around, <You can go ahead and be in front, but if you lead us into danger, I'm headbutting you into a ditch, got that?>

And as soon as he had looked to the skys, the ended their weeping. Blinking, the breeder cocked an eye... Glancing down at the Absol at his feet, he grinned, "Did you have something to do with this...?" he teased lightly. Tail swaying, the Absol mimicked the grin and sat on his haunches.
"Well... looks like it's time to head out.." reaching to his belt, the breeder took the rental ball, pushed the center button to enlarge it, and pointed it to the ground. With a flash of red, the Ponyta began to take shape before the two. Having tied the cloth along the Pokemons back, for a sense of a saddle. Lightly stroking along the powerful horses neck, the breeders features softened, "Are you ready, boy..?" he spoke softly. With a snort, the Ponyta flicked its firey tail and nudged the human to take in his scent. Breathing against the mans shoulder, Tirk snorted again and raised it's head; accepting the cercumstances.
Glancing down at the Absol, the breeder gave a smile and stroked along the horn, "It's going to be a long travel..." he didn't expect to meet any trainers, and was perfectly fine with just the companionship of the Pokemon before him. After all, he wasn't here to meet new people, simply learn of this new land and see if he could gain luck at gnabbing some Poke's. Carefully hoisting himself onto the Ponyta, he took the reigns and situated in a comfortable position. The Absol kept right next to the Ponyta without a hitch, acting as a herding dog. Tirk, the Ponyta, snorted and whinnied a few times, but succumbed to it's fate, slowly following after the rest of the migrating trainers instinctivly.

Leader-Sama-07 Flint smiles " thanks, good luck to you too" he nods " yhea, maybe i should have gone with ponyta, but tauros is just as good, maybe a little harder to handle, but i figure if i can handle this guy i can handle anything" he says grinning "I've seen some wild ones before, so I couldn't work up the courage to mount one." Lumina laughed, shaking her head, "Guess I'm the kind that likes to keep things at a distance. How'd you hear about the eevee? The news reports?"

Travel After a while of peaceful traveling, the peaks of the Rinaul mountain range come within sight. The landscape is barren with few trees that often dot the left side of the road. The sun is close to setting but it is not completely dark yet. You can go just a bit further before the dark forces you to stop and bunker down.
(PS: Kitty was that last post of yours directed towards me? Idk please people should put who their post is referring to because I fail rofl )

@Nana:
Sienna nodded, "Yeah I do! I actually caught Frey here on that trip." she smiled, and patted his head. Then she added, "I'm going to be the best bird-keeper in Zatao!"

Jay stayed in the stall with Tsuno, creating a sort of bond between them unto the sound of rain on the roof stopped. Walking around to Tsuno's head he stroked the tauros's head with a smile. "Ready to go?" Jay asked. Tsuno, having now gained a sort of respect for this gentle, fearless human, snorted in response. Jay laughed and patted Tsuno's head, delighted with the progress he was already making. Opening the stall he exited. "Alright Tsuno, let's go." He said. Tsuno didn't hesitate to follow Jay from his stall and out of the stables. It seemed that everyone was headed out, remembering which group he was to be in he turned to grin at Tsuno, who was watching the people and pokemon, almost like it as a parade. "Let's join 'em, Tsuno." he said climbing up on Tsuno's back without a problem. Jay and Tsuno then moved out to join up with the group.

The researcher looked down from his perch to the trainer next to him riding a tauros. "Oh, thank you, but he is not mine, he's my brother's, but I'll be sure to pass the compliment." He smiled warmthly. "Uh....." Think of something! "Oh, if you have an arcanine, why aren't you riding it? Wouldn't it be more comfortable riding a pokemon you are familiar with?"
Cooper looked at Tauros next to him and panted, sniffing at the bull pokemon while wagging his tail. Ooh....this pokemon smelt funny. @SPEAKER

Lady Mist "Ah, how did that turn out?" And seeing and interacting are two totally different things!" Lumina defended herself with a grin, "I always was more of the watcher than the one to jump in and get my hands in the dirt."
She made sure to keep another eye out on the group still to follow along, but was much too talkative to ride in complete silence, "I'm actually aiming for a pokemon this time around. Since I've officially set out on my own, I need some help in the wild from time to time. But I'm certainly curious as to this strange behavior.." Lucine sighed happily, "It turned out wonderfully. She's a beautiful little ponyta, you should see her! More energy than a shooting star!" Lucine laughed, delighted at the idea of new life.
"Setting out on your own?" she asked, her head snapping over to look at her friend, "What a development! When did this come about?"

[@ ANYONE IN RED]
She was running late.
It really, really hadn't been Nina's fault. Her clothes mattered to her, okay? And she'd just had to style her mohawk (which had actually been left down today, but still!) just right. In a rush she nodded to Bill and quickly signed for a Ponyta - fortunately she'd planned enough to pay for the rental. It was also fortunate that her outfit today had some red on it - that way she didn't look like some idiot who hadn't bothered to coordinate with her rental Pokemon, duh (and even the Ponyta had a red bandana tied around its neck - clever, Nina thought) She loaded her bags onto it (pushing her hair products onto it with extra care - sure, the sum of her hair was 'a mohawk' but that didn't mean that she didn't take care of it!) and made to catch up with the red group.
"Man, this Eevee sighting had better be worth missing out on days of beloved sleep," she muttered aloud, to no one in particular. She waved at the nearest person in her group - "Hey, dude," she called, not bothering to check to see if the 'dude' was actually male. "Is there any information I totally missed out on that I should know?"

Ridley shot a startled glance at Liam, quickly masking his expression and shrugging, enjoying the ride, not urging Soulcrusher any faster, trying to seem casual.
"I'm not glum. I just have some things on my mind," he grinned over at him. "I'm actually really looking forward to this trip."
As they rode on, and the mountains came into view, Ridley looked out over the land, watching the coming twilight. The good part of the day had indeed been full of rain, and their late start made Ridley worry slightly about staying on schedule.
"Time flies."

Robin must have already made off into in the scramble of people heading for the door. Anise shrugged; they'd probably run into each other again sometime. She and Felix headed back into the stable where her rental Ponyta waited. As she approached, she noticed for the first time that there was a name tag on the stall.
"So you're name's Sola, huh?" The Ponyta neighed quietly and pranced a little, eager to get going, making Anise laugh. "All right, all right. Let's just get you saddled up.
In no time at all, she'd saddled and mounted the Ponyta and was riding out of the stable, with Felix sitting behind her on Sola's rump. She looked around for the purple group, but her mount didn't seem to need any direction and started gravitating toward a collection of pokemon wearing purple cloths.
