By the time she got back, Roman was sitting up propped against Micheal as he still held him just in case he did attack Jay. He gave a weak smile as Jay offered her horse as he finished the last small animal that Micheal had brought for him. His lips went to say something, but the red head stopped and nudged his sire to help him up. He wasn't going to poke fun at the ranger. No, not now. Who knew if she would shove that bolt back in him?

Micheal had a smile matching Romans as the Ranger returned with the Horse and with the nudge from the younger on he helped him up and looked at the unsteady animal.
"Dark could you, please."
Dark grumbled, "how am I suppose to focus on that when I am trying to focus on not draining you all."
Micheal looked shocked at Dark for a moment and then questioned himself with a thought, looking at Jay. "I know it's a silly question how still and calm can you stay..?"

The glare she threw at the dragon could not be missed.
"I've seen you dig into a dog," she said looking back toward Micheal and giving him a raised eyebrow. "But I may have to let the horse go and step back some. Someone needs to watch the area. Just want to make sure our brief visitor has fully left and doesn't come back," she said as her eyes glanced toward the woods indicating the direction. Micheal had yet to be told of that... thing. She realized that maybe Roman did not quite know about that surprise appearance that was unrelated to the dragons they had sought to bring down.
Slowly and with a little difficulty, she loosed the reigns from the snorting oblong face. Already the horse was taking steps away, shaking its mane around now free of the leather. At the same time, Jay began to take her own slow strides to the side farthest from both the vampires and Dark, reigns in her gloveless hand.
"Alright," she signaled from her standing point.

Cho looked over at Aphrodite and said, "Let's just get some food at the market place and get out of here. I'm done here."
Aphrodite looked over and shrugged, "Oh, fine."Her and Cho walked over to the markets and bought some food. They headed out of encampment.
They got a little ways out and Cho looked over to Aphrodite. Then looked up at her. "Aphrodite your huge," she gasped.
Aphrodite looked over and said, "Well, that's rude."
Cho hushed her fussing and explained, "No, your an adult now."
Aphrodite looked down. "Oh wow that's cool. Let's go flying. "she said. Reading her wings.
Cho said, "Not right now. Let's walk a little ways or would like to end up like Bullseye."
They walked in silence. Thinking of a way to get Bullseye.

Micheal looked at her. "Visitor?" He ignored her first remark about the dogs, and second, he was fighting the dogs not eating them like his life depended on it. And the reason why he was fighting the dogs? He honestly couldn't remember. Too much happened during these past events that left stronger memories that would over lapped the less important ones.
He looked in the same direction where Jay's eyes seemed focused, trying to look further beyond to see if he saw anything more before focusing on Roman. He must get him to the already spooked animal that already sensed the threat the nightmarish group currently was.
Micheal swallowed and winced again from being parched from the mental strain. The dust scratch feeling started to build in his throat as Roman's thirst mixed with his, forcing the natural instincts to fight those of common sense. Then the reminder of pain hit again, and Micheal looked down at where he thought the pain was coming from.
"Ribs, how are we suppose to fix that up?" Micheal dealt with his fair share of breaking things when it came to other vampire confrontation and the way he knew to fix it was break, realign, and stay very still. When it came to Roman, he just doesn't stay still.

Roman did not focus on anything, just slowly moving with the guidance of Micheal to only grab his ribs to hold them in place, moving in general was causing them to hurt along with the constant pinching and twisting in his back where the bolt penetrated, slow movement was helping keep him from lashing out at himself on how stupid that really was, But more so wished the Ranger would be much further away, more like in the next town by now. No he needed her, not to just be here. He looked at the horse only hearing Micheal's side of the conversation. "I am not dead, still feel pain." he joked with a fake smile as he had not a clue what was being said or talked about, as they slowly walked up to the horse trying not to spook it to run off.

Alba Strix Varia Kier wanted to ask her what she was telling the other fae and what they were laughing at, but he was too caught up in awe at the sheer size of the tree. It took him a minute to stop looking up at it's branches and to look at it's base, and the throne shaped there. He thought it was really really cool, but seeing the crown on the head of the throne's occupant stopped him from gaping. Instead he tried to puff himself up to look big and strong and noble. He promptly deflated and looked at his guide uncertainly when she was whispering.
He took himself a deep breath, and walked to stand in front of the throne, just now noticing the full grown dragon beside it. He bowed his head best he could like he'd been advised and waited. He almost quivered. This was a real prince! He was excited... Kocerou watched in interest as Kier presented himself. The Prince met the gaze of the fae-girl that had brought him, and she smiled and gave a slight bow before walking away. Kocerou didn't say anything for a long moment, letting the dragon remain where he was with his head bowed. "Well," Kocerou said softly, "A pretty thing to find lost so close to my refuge. Were you not so bold I would take you for a spy for my enemies. So then, what are you? Look at me, dragonling, and answer."

Target heard the foot steps of others didn't bother to open his eyes to see who it was till Kocerou spoke. Seeing only a dragonling, he wonder where this would go. He was far too young to be on his own, but then some dragons don't stay in one spot long and little ones do get lost, stolen, eaten, etc. what would the prince do with him? Keep him like he does I, it seems likely but then the prince is still a Fea. Target soon got an edgy feeling in his nerves and found out he couldn't rest easy till this was over with.

Kier lifted his head to look the prince in the eyes, straightening his posture. Be proud, he told himself, you're a hero, and honorable hero. He reached a clawed paw up to swipe his mane from his face. Sometimes it really did get in the way. "Sir, I'm a dragon, a warrior fighting evils and writing wrongs." he answered with a straight face, not seeing the oddity of the statement in someone his age and size. "I didn't know your camp was here, or that I had wandered close to it, but on my honor I would never tell anyone." He frowned a bit and added "Spies are dishonorable...." he stated, clearly very naive and not realizing that the statement had a possibility of being taken wrong. Still, his age might act as some protection for not knowing. "I keep my honor..." he added

"Do not trouble yourself looking. I don't see her. Keep with Roman."
Confidence surrounded the response, even though both knew he had the better vision, especially in the darkness. His own sight complimented her answer, however, and barely a telltale scent of the unknown visitor could be picked up amidst that of the smoke, soil, and blood that was in the air.
The horse took a few more steps away before holding still enough to catch up with it, possibly deciding that it was the pale dragon that was the threat and not the two pale human figures slowly closing in.
The ranger's watch traced the area going from woods to road, left to right, resting only on the vampires and the near by dragon briefly. A glance behind and then she was back to the circled watch.

"A warrior," Kocerou said gravely, "Of course. I should have seen that. Target, do you know this dragonling? To which clan does he belong, or is he a stray? I've a mind to keep him if he has no place."

He looked at her as he didn't currently see anything and then trusted her for watch. He didn't like this. The night was getting shorter and seemed to be more lively in these parts of the lands than where they have been at. "Under a rock." Micheal looked at dark and then lightly touched the horse on its nose as his eyes then focused. His hand wrapped in the mane of the animal and jerked the head down with a little more than enough force for a grinding pop to be made. With a few stomps from the beast it dropped, and he still kept his hand entangled in his mane holding the head to help the other vamp eat.
His eyes trailed back at the Ranger, deja vu. He then looked around as there was the faint scent, but then sighed not liking his next decision to just trust her and focus on Roman.

Stray could be, but he did say he is an warrior. Maybe he has some one that is missing him. If close by scents do leave trails even to places unknown." Target sat up to get his blood circulating again. "Keep him? could be risky, but letting him go is a threat too." "Who brought him here and why is the question?"

Roman lightly patted the dying paralyzed animal, its breathing rapid. The thumping of its heart pounded in his ears as his lips curled high to give clearance for his natural daggers to make their mark in the neck of the animal. The warm liquid hitting his throat, coating it like honey, a comfort much needed from his torment. He closed his eyes and was mindlessly petting the horse as he drank from it, its heart slowly pattering to a silence.

"We shall see what my scouts have to report when they return." Kocerou didn't sound terribly enthusiastic about the idea of finding the dragon's parents or clan. "If there are any dragons nearby that bear a resemblance to the pup, they will tell us. Come warrior, sit with us. Give me thy name."
