Lily looked up, finally noticing Neru who hads decided to enter her tent. She looked at him quietly for a moment, "I suppose so.." Lily nodded. "Its been slow in here today though."

Finally, Trenton spoke out of nowhere. "I don't think they're going to change the schedule and make it easier just because there's a new guy..." Trenton inhaled sharply and, with one finger slightly extended, swiped his hand across under his nose. "Just saying..."

They were sure that Scott would awake soon enough. Their combined incessant bickering- Adelphos's deep purring, and Fera's hyena-like snickering - was sure to wake one from even the deepest sleep. Then stood on either side of Scott's unconscious body, speaking to each other telepathically while sniffing the boy's face and body like two stray dogs.
"We should just eat him. It'll save him a life of anguish and dehumanization and give us extra food."
"Oh, tame yourself, Fera. The boy just hit his head. He would awake before we even get past his legs."
"True. But think about what might happen if the Ringmaster were to find to him in this condition..."
"If he were to get here right now, we'd both be punished for getting him into this condition, regardless whether or not we really did...Which we did not."
"I don't give a damn. If he doesn't wake up soon, something will be torn off of this kid. A few of Zachary's limbs would never fill me up."
"So true..."
Neru took a couple steps in and folded his arms, feeling a bit unwelcomed in the little tent. Amazing, right? Neru feeling unwelcomed...Has Hell frozen over?
"The performance tent wasn't even full during today's first show...Then again, it's rather peaceful when it's a slow day, don't you think? The crowds aren't as savage and loud, and it least there's some room to breathe, you know?"
He stared at the ground as he spoke, as if avoiding eye contact. When he finished, though, he looked up at her with a light smile.
Acheron shrugged his shoulders and let go of one fish to eat the other. The one he released gently descended to the floor. He swallowed the whole thing like an otter or dolphin would. It was rather slimy and bitter- presumably farm-raised. Wild fish have a distinct taste to them that is far more appetizing than this one. Nonetheless, he felt rather full from the one that he ate and sighed.
Ron had to do a double-take as Trenton spoke. He snickered innocently as he swam up to the glass.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you'd left by now," he let out a small laugh as leaned down to pick up the fish he left on the ground, then raised the fish to the glass, "Fish?"

"Ahem." The sound of a dark, yet smooth voice cleared his throat from behind the two beasts. "I would hope neither of you would even think about devouring a customer. Speaking of him how did he end up in an unconcious state?" The ringmaster's voice hissed angerily.
Lily ran her hands up and down her arms, she looked to Neru's face. He seemed rather awkward as he spoke to her, not something she had seen often of the worker's behavior. She nodded as he finally looked towards her, "It is a bit more comfortable that way."

"Well, Trenton said. "Unfortunatley for you, I am still here..." He shifted his position. "And I don't want your ugly, slimy fish..." he told Ron, even though he hadn't eaten and right after his comment his stomach growled a little.

@Stella - Only if I can call you Stella. ^ ^ And, it's not a problem! [For me, at least..] Fera and Del are sort of like one character, as they are always together, Ana is like an over-exaggerated me, Neru is just fun to RP as, and Ron is more amusing than violent. xD]]
Fera's ears perked up at the Ringmaster's sudden, unexpected, and undetected, presence. The man was a rather shadowy figure, able to sneak up on anyone, and anything. Adelphos folded one foreleg up him, stretched the other one out, and lowed his upper body to make a sort of 'bow' towards the Ringmaster.
"We fould him in this condition just now, sir. Fera was about to suggest we tell a worker about him...Right, Fera?"
"Indeed. He needs a few stitches here and there. Perhaps one of the freaks with medical experience would be able to patch him up..."
Fera's tail was stiff and occasionally twitched. She tried to suppress her hate towards the man, though she did so just barely. Adelphos maintained his 'bow' and lowered his head submissively. If only Lokin wasn't here, she'd give him a nice bite to remind him that they were above him. Choking back a growl, Fera lowered her head as well, hoping to pass off as a loyal little freak.
Neru nodded in agreement. He nervously shifted on his feet before responding.
"Yeah...Then again, it is only mid day. Once night falls, the ambience of this place intensifies. The shows become filled with much gore, the circus animals become uneasy and lash out at people, and the people...They seem to become more inhuman and savage than ever," he looked up at her and flashed a rueful smile, "Bah, what am I saying...It's not like this is your first day here...How long has it been already?...A year, right?"
Acheron frowned and stared at Trenton. If the boy kept shoving people away like this, eventually they wouldn't bother to...It hit him. That's why everyone ignored him like this. He pretty much acted like an a** to anyone who truly wanted to befriend him thinking that they'd hurt him in the end. Ron swam a bit back and forced the second fish down. It left a bad taste and feeling in his mouth as he continued to think about this kid. If he were just one freak in the cirque, Ron couldn't imagine what kind of conditions the other freaks were in...

Scott layed there listening to the Ringmaster talk to the two animals as if they understood him and him them. He tryed to be stil having some what woken up when the Ringmaster had appeared. He tryed to think of things to occupy his mind but he decided to open his eyes abit. When he saw the creatures he cringed abit hoping that none of them would notice.
Ethan had walked out into the crowed for some fresh air and alone time. Bbbuuutttt....That worked about as well as a plastic knife to a steak. A young girl walked up crying and asked him to help find her mother. He sighed sympathizing with the girl, and nodded wondering off to see if he could help her they both decided to check over by the water tanks.
[[lol has anyone ever tryed to cut a steak with a plastic knife. Raises your hands high so i can see them.......FAIL!!! rofl ]]

Amelia frowned and yelled after Ethan. "Aren't you gonna go and see if he's alright?!" She growled as he walked off in the opposite direction. She stood and took a step back, examining her cage's bars. It was just wood, she should be able to break it, right? She walked backwards, calculating her approach. When her back touched the other side of her cage, she stopped, and took a deep breath. Then, she ran at full speed and jump kicked the bar, her flats making impact and shattering the wood. She inspected the bottom of her shoe and pulled out a few splinters. She shrugged off her kimono coat and slipped through the opening where the bar had once been. Someone was sure to have heard the impact of her kick, and she had to get out of here quick. She took off in Scott's general direction, picking up his scent easily. When she finally caught up to him, he was unconscious again. Or, pretending to be. And, of course, who other than the ringmaster would be there? She gasped sharply and then ducked behind a nearby cage, crouching and peeking out from the side. Fera and Del were apparently getting a scolding. The ringmaster thought they did this to Scott, but Amelia knew better. She could tell the entire situation from what she got from each individual's mind. She stopped breathing and tried to remain as inconspicuous as possible.
[[More trouble from Amelia xd And I know white ash wood is one of her weaknesses and all, but I just really needed something for her to do. sweatdrop ]]

((lol u can call me that..haha i couldnt think of a user....so its stellahluna...i think its kind of retarded but kind of not at the same time only becaz it reminds me of this adorable little bat story...well i guess thats retarded haha XD))
((oh and i read the wrong persons part so i was like-....how can ron shift his weight on his feet when hes in the water...? then i was like...oh....nevermind...))
Trenton fiddled around with a pebble he had found on the ground. Confusion and regret were occupying his mind.
...But it was too late to fix anything now...

"Hm.." The ringmaster narrowed his eyes slightly. "See to it that he's seen some type of medical attention." He stated, staring long and hard at the boy who had just seemed to regain conciousness.
"Yeah about that I suppose." Lily nodded. She thought for a moment, "Feels longer, but a year sounds about right."

Adelphos straightened and nodded. Fera looked up and Lokin and just stared at him. What a pathetic man. She mentally cursed at him, though dare not let him hear any of it. Del thought momentarily before speaking.
"We'll make sure his wounds will get the attention they need...And, sir, by any chance...Are you thinking about...well, turning the boy into...one of us?"
Del made sure to whisper the last question. Fera sensed, hoping that the Ringmaster would let this one go. He seemed to be a smart boy, judging by appearance. Then again, if he managed to his his head here, he wasn't exactly bright...
Neru nodded. A year since this girl was dragged into the cirque. He stared at the floor out of habit, reminiscing in the few exciting times he'd had in the cirque. Shaking his head to brake the stare, he began walking out of the tent, now submerged in thoughts. He called over his shoulder to Lily.
"I don't want to take up your time anymore..." He froze, then whirled around, "Unless...Unless you'd want to...I don't know...try to read my future? I'd like to just, out of curiosity, known what lies ahead. Minutes, hours, days, weeks- whatever you can get, I'll take."
He laughed, though very shortly, and slowly walked back to her table and sat down in the little chair. Now feeling very awkward, he tried to avoid eye contact by staring around or at the table. Even sitting down, he was still slightly taller than Lily. Amazing, right? Neru feeling nervous around a person...

Jojo walked into the school grounds. She took a deep breath and exhaled loudly. The wonderful smell of food and humans lingered in the air. But as she got clser to one of the tents, the stench of the Ringmaster floated about. She entered and saw The ringmaster with the two not exactly animals. "Ah! Good to see everyone still around while I was gone.",she said with a smirk. Yep, she hasn't been around for work for a week or so and she knew the Ringmaster would be angry for that...Like always. As she passed them, she caught a figure laying on the ground from the corner of her eye. "Eh? How did this fella get here??",she asked,squatting down beside the human to get a closer look.

Scott layed motionless he was starting to feel heavy for some reason. Light headed too. He forgot his situation and chucklrd to himself quitly. He didnt think he hit his head that hard. He heard the Voice of the guy who was talking to the other creatures say something about medical treatment. His eyes fluttered for a second. He heard the foot steps of another person come towards him and stoped. He wanted to look to see who it was but he was trying to play off a coma.
Ethan had helped the girl find her mom and was now heading back to talk with Amelia. When he got to her cage he about flipped out on a paserby that was just going back to their cage for the day . He clenched his handeds and walked down the path were the blood had been leading. He saw Amelia looking around a box. He walked up to her being as silent as ever and shoke his head standing behind her. He then pushed her up against the cage and held her there by her throat. He knew it was a usless action but the force he used was enough to take her off her feet. "What are you doing out here?!" He asked furiously.

Amelia watched Jojo appear and rolled her eyes, grinning. Then, she glared and grabbed Ethan's wrist, twisting it to release his grip. Having been alive so long, she'd learned handy techniques to incapacitate any creature. She put her free hand over his mouth, and put her lips next to his ear. "I had to check on him. And it's a good thing I did." She pulled her head back to meet his eyes sternly, and motioned for him to stay here. It was time for one of her notorious run-ins with the ringmaster. She let go of Ethan and stepped out from behind the cage. "You know Lokin," She said casually, hands on her hips, "You guys are so lucky I've never really tried to escape this s**t hole. I could have been half way to Mexico before anybody thought to make sure I was still in my cage." This was true, so why did she choose to stay? She had no idea herself. Snapping herself from this thought, she looked down at Scott. "So this is where the scent of blood was coming from. You should really get him to the infirmary." She said, crouching and looking at Scott. He was the worst actor she'd ever seen. She projected a thought into his mind as she stared, pretending to inspect him for injuries. As soon as you get the chance; run. I don't care where you go, just get away from here, She thought urgently, rising from her crouch to meet the ringmaster's eyes.
