Kai nodded his head slowly, still unsure, but with Luo's support he was willing to at least try. Closing his eyes, Kai moved slowly through each hand-sign, memorizing them. He knew how to manipulate water, it was all about his mind-set, when using the suiton techniqes he had to let his chakra flow in the way that water does. But how did he make his chakra burn? He let chakra build up in his stomach as he thought it over, trying to make the chakra take on the properties of Katon chakra. [1/6]

As he performed the final hand-seal Kai said unsuredly, "Ryouka no jutsu", then took a deep breath, breathing in with his stomach rather than his chest. As the air mingled with the chakra in his stomach, Kai began focusing chakra into his throat. After lining his throat with the chakra, Kai exhaled, releasing the air and chakra both through his throat and mouth. The air and chakra passed through the chakra film in his throat, the chakra beginning to tingle, until it burst forth from his mouth... as nothing more than a small gout of flame. [2/6]

Kai scrunched his brow in annoyance, taking a quick glance at Luo to see if he could read any kind of emotion on his face. Clearing his throat unnecessarily, Kai began again, moving a bit more quickly through the hand-seals this time. He was sure that the building up chakra in his stomach wasn't the problem, so perhaps he simply wasn't putting enough chakra behind the technique. Finishing the final hand-seal once more, Kai said clearly, "Ryouka no jutsu!"[3/6]

Kai forced the chakra up through his throat, just as he had done before, but this time he began building up even more chakra in his gut as the original chakra snaked its way up his throat. Just before the chakra was about to pass the chakra film, Kai pushed the chakra in his stomach up through his throat in a sudden burst. As the new chakra rushed up his throat, Kai completely halted the original chakra, and as the new chakra met with the original it pushed the chakra through the film and out of his mouth in a sudden burst. This time, to Kai's great delight, a truly formidable flame burst out from his mouth, but it only lasted for a short moment. [4/6]

Kai beamed at his progress, he almost had it, and just a few moments before he had been worried that he wouldn't be able to produce a flame at all. He had the general idea down, now it was just a matter of maintaining the flame. Kai went through the process all over again, performing the hand-seals, building up chakra and then crying out, "Ryouka no jutsu!" Just as before he let the chakra rise through his throat and then sent another wave up from his stomach to push the original chakra out to produce the flame. This time however he continued to build chakra in his stomach, and pushed it up through his throat and out through his mouth, the chakra acting as fuel for the flame. [5/6]

As the jet of flame issued forth from Kai's mouth, Kai moved his head so that he was now pointing the flame straight up into the air. The flame rose more than thirty feet into the air. Kai was exultant as he continued to spew flame from his mouth. As he stood there for a few moments, expelling flames from his mouth, the flames began to take on a shape of their own, much like Luo's had. But rather than taking the form of a dragon, the flames took on the visage of a great wolf. Finally Kai could hold the jutsu no longer and the flames were expelled. [6/6 Katon: Ryouka no jutsu (Fire Release: Dragon fire Jutsu) learned]

Looking over to Luo, Kai smiled, his crimson eyes exultant in his triumph, and asked excitedly, "How was that?"

"I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

(could I learn some more Katon techniques while I wait for the mission to start?)

Kanzuki decided to take the quick way to the Acadamy and beat Yama back by roof-hopping, he made it back to the room with time to spare and simply took a seat with his katana resting against his shoulder.

"Huh, oh ya I got that taken care of awhile ago." he said as he stood up and got a cup of tea from near by, he returned to his seat and began to sip on the tea," What about you, why did you leave?" he asked him, even though he already knew the answer, he had seen both him and Luo-sama walking into the training facility.

"Uh huh thats nice." Kanzuki said with little concern in his voice," Can't say I know where he is." he stated as he sipped more tea.

"No I'm pretty enthusiastic, I'm just not careing about what you learned!" Kanzuki said with a laugh as he took a big glup of tea afterword.

"Right.................." Yamatano said as he noticed something on the shelf labeled "Caffine: DO NOT TOUCH (This means you Yamatano)."

"Woah, It looks like they remember me from the academy. Should I really......ahh heck, I graduated! They can't tell me what I can and can't add to my coffee!" Yamatano exclaimed as he reached for the bottle, dumping half the bottle of powdered energy to his coffee.

"Ehh? Dont do what?" Yamatano asked as he brought the coffee to his lips, taking a sip.

(........faster than I can blink? Ok, I know that your new sword style is fast, but your still a genin. It isnt nearly that fast yet)

Yamatano's look became annoyed. "Hey, what did you do that for?!? That was a perfecly good-" Yamatano said as he stopped in mid sentence. He had already taken a sip from the coffee, which had half a bottle of powdered caffine in it, so the effect was..........hard hitting. "WoahthatssomegoodcoffeeehywhydidyouknockitoutofmyhandsohwellI'lljustgofindanotherTOANOTHERCLASSROOMTOLOOKFORMUGS! WAHOOOOOOOOO!" Yamatano yelled as he shot out of the room, fast even for a Hatake. He had gone from standing to speeding so fast, that people swore he said "Meep Meep" before taking off.
