Kai looked at Yamatano and chuckled as bit as he shook his head, but upon hearing that Fordon was at the door he quickly became silent. Looking from side to side he looked for a place to quickly hide, but it seemed that the only place to hide would be behind the door when it opened. He was about to move over to the door when he remembered what Fordon had told him about masking the sound of his feet moving across the ground. He focused on his hearing trying to make out even the slightest sound. He heard ticking and realized that it must be the clock (I hope you have a clock that ticks anyway).

It wasn't the best noise in the world to mask the sound of his footsteps, but at least it would be easy to move simultaneously with the steady tick. As quickly as he could manage, while still moving in conjunction with the ticking clock, Kai made his way to the side of the door, while still staying far enough to the side that he would not be hit in the face when the door was opened. Kai held his breath as he waited for Fordon to enter, he really wanted to show that he had listened to what Fordon had taught him.

Fordon flung the door open and let it clack against the wall. He entered the room and do to his hunter ninja training took in his surroundings. he had heard three voices in the room before entering but only saw two in front of him. he guess that the slight patter keeping in time with the clock he had heard was foot steps. judging by the voices the one missing was kai. judging by the direction, timing and most convenient location to hide around the general area the noise had stopped was next to the door. because the door slammed into the wall Fordon could tell the boy had been smart enough to be out of the way when it had opened. The boy had tried to cover his noise with the clock and had been fast. Fordon also could not hear the boys breathing which was good however do to the quiet beating he could hear from the heart he guessed the boy was holding his breath. not great for anything longer then three seconds but clever. this was combined with something he had not taught the boy but was practical, positioning. the boy had a pretty good spot. Fordon used his heighten reflexes and best guess to quickly draw a kunai and throw it just wide of the boys neck. "you did really good! you applied some of the stuff you learned and i think you'll be pretty good at it if you keep up with it. but as for the holding your breath its no good any more then three seconds because then your heart will beat louder and harder due to a lack of air. not a bad idea though and a really good spot to pick" he said walking forward and pulling out the knife. Fordon turned to the Mizukage and said "Lord Luo-sama if you train this boy in our silent arts he could become truly great. he has natural talent that just needs to be refined a little."

Kai's eyes grew wide as the Kunai sailed past him into the wall, his mouth opening a bit as his bottom lip quivered ever so slightly. After Fordon took the kunai out of the wall, Kai let out a sigh and bowed to him as he said, "Thank you Fordon-senpai, I appreciate both your praise and your advice." Looking over to Luo Kai scratched the back of his head and laughed hesitantly before saying, "sorry, Luo-sama, I've just been trying to better my espionage and stealth skills, but I will be sure not to do it in your office again." Walking back to stand beside Yamatano, Kai looked towards the door, furrowing his brow as he wondered where Aimi and LT-Sensei were.

Luo waived a hand at Fordon's lamenting voice as if to brush the small conflict aside. "What is it you came to talk to me about Fordon if I may ask?"

Tapping his right index finger, Luo thought for a moment if he had any tasks that needed to be done around the village. He finally came up with one that he figured Fordon could handle, and would in fact enjoy. "Actually, Mai dropped off a letter to my office this morning saying that her study of the Hero Water was complete, and her analysis of its properties needed to be taken back to the waterfall village as well as the gourd of water itself. I need you to accompany her because although she's one of few shinobi who knows the entrance to the village, it would be risky for her to carry the water such a long way alone."

Luo nodded a bit. "Yes, she's already packed and waiting for an escort. If you don't already know the way, she can show you. Just be a bit careful, there's word that fire country is having a problem with rogues these days."

LT walked in the office and bowed to the Mizukage. He then walked slowly over to his chair to the left of the mizukages desk then LT sat down taking in a long breath along with the entire room into memory. There was the Mizukage, Fordon, Kai, Yama, LT and 6 ANBU. LT relaxed himself feeling secure of the ANBU guards to do their duty, so LT turned his attention to the coffee maker pouring some of his work famous brew into a cup and setting it on the Mizukages desk. When LT's hand released the mug and cute and smiling Hello Kitty was printed all over the cup. "I hope you enjoy, my lord," LT smiled.
