"I might." she replied thoughtfully, tapping a finger against her lips.
"I very well might..."

Golden contacts gazed about the interior of the library as Alnette walked inside. "Hello?" She called out, hoping that Emma was there.

Emma looked up from the book she was examining, laying it back down on the carved ebony desk.
"I am here, Alnette."

"Oh, that's a relief." Alnette smiled, the relief clear on her face. Slowly, she made her way over to Emma. "I cannot bear having my powers sealed like this, especially since I am trapped within a human body."

"I know the feeling." The enchantress stood, the rustle of the grimoires punctuating her words.
"So, do you wish to proceed?"

Emma clicked her fingers and a carved staff dropped into her hands from thin air, pulsing with violet fire. She gestured with the staff, weaving an incantation under her breath that switched languages every few words. Latin, Sanskrit, Old French, Mandarin, Coptic, and back again.
The spell commenced.

((Sorry it took so long, my dad came home early))
Alnette remained silent, but watched Emma's staff with obvious fascination.

The staff was an odd choice, Emma thought as she wove. It was not actually hers, but it had been readily available and a good focus for power. It was such a male symbol, though. No wonder she did not often use them.
Violet light pulsed ever stronger, sending out tendrils towards Alnette, determining the nature of the enchantment that had been cast upon her.

Alnette continued to watch silent, remaining still. All of this was fascinating.
The enchantment binding Alnette was simple enough. It had been cast on her days ago and remained dormant, only to be triggered by a certain spell, in Alnette's case, a transformation spell. When she had tried to change her appearance, the enchantment took hold, hijacking her transformation spell to turn her into a human and sealing her powers.

((Continuing from before, sorry for the delay))
The soothing voice turned grating and low once again, and Vii was just the instrument, her human face contorted into something unfamiliar. "You can not affect me without destroying this human in the process. You see she is nothing without me."
For a split second the dark power within her flashed like a shadow across the back of Vii's blue-green eyes. ★★★★★★★

"Watch me." Emma readied her power, all of her 900 years of experience showing clearly.

The Paladin entered Bainbridge's library. In truth Farskon couldn't tell if he loved the place or not. On one hand it has been the first time he's lived a privileged life in almost a year. Then on the other hand it was like being in a museum; don't touch anything.
"Man I really wished there was a copy of Moby d**k here or somethin'." he muttered.

"There is. It's one of the original first run, so be careful with it. Three shelves down on your right."
Emma was seated at her desk, bent over a thick book with a quill in hand.
There was a flicker of a black jacket from the door behind Emma and the faintest sound of fading footsteps.

"Oh cool, thanks," The teenager nodded, and took the copy of Moby d**k from it's shelf."Yeah, this is a classic; I love it mostly 'cause I'm rooting for the whale," He conferred to Emma.
