=-I wrote this a few months ago while waiting on the previous to be judged. I went back through it for some edits before just posting it. I'm a bit happier with this one, however I feel there's something else I could have done to make it ... better, I guess? I try to do other things with my missions rather than "I went here, I got a Pokemon, I left". Also, sorry for the double post.-= “Celestial Tower …” Lilly said to herself. The majestic tower overlooked everything around it, perhaps even maybe the mountain off in the distance. Nothing ever so beautiful stood before her, and she’d have to go in. She double checked the mission on her TADS, the text glowing, Quote: MISSION- Flame on! Go catch a fire Pokémon! “This mission seems a bit easy, but I suppose I’m a new member …” said Lilly, closing the TADS and stashing it into her bag. “It’s only natural I’d get the missions to bulk up my team a little.” She took a deep breath and headed in. Lilly had chosen this place for the Pokémon Litwik. It was a long flight to Unova from the Aqua base she now called her home, but it’d be worth it to get a Pokémon she adored. Living in Azalea, she loved watching people battle the gym leader Bugsy. Since Bugsy used the bug type, people brought fire types. The most interesting battles were the ones Bugsy had against foreigners. One challenger had come from Unova and brought a Chandelure. Lilly had always dreamed of owning one since then, but never had she thought she’d get the chance to catch one herself. Or at least it’s lower form. Inside the tower were what looked like tomb stones. The floor was made out of stone brick as was the ceiling. A spiral staircase went up to the next floor. There were people by the tombstones, paying their respects. There were a few Litwik floating about here and there. Lilly decided to not disturb the people with the noise of a Pokémon battle and crept up the stairs to the next floor. It was a long walk up, but she had finally reached the second floor. The second floor look like some demented person’s idea of fun. Lilly could see the staircase on the other side of the room going higher into the tower. The only thing between her and it was a maze made of tombstones. Hopefully she wouldn’t have to go higher, but if that’s what it took, then so be it. She took a few steps into the maze. The tombstones were just big enough that she couldn’t climb over them, and spaces in between that she could see through but not squeeze between. Lilly walked through the maze for what seemed like half an hour, but she was sure her mind was exaggerating time and it had been much less. A left turn, a right turn, another left turn, left turn …. Finally, she spotted the Pokémon she came for. A Litwik! Lilly pulled a pokeball from her waist and threw it. In a loud flash, Poochyena appeared. The Litwik was startled by the loud noise and went through a tombstone to escape. “H .. HEY!” screamed Lilly, chasing after the Litwik’s general direction. Her Poochyena being sure to follow close as to not get lost. Lilly ran a right turn. Her Poochyena barked, causing her to stop. “What is it, Poochyena?” Lilly asked. Her Pokémon sniffed around frantically and then let out another loud bark, looking the other direction Lilly was going. Lilly smiled and followed. They took another turn and saw the Litwik. “Poochyena, use bite!” the dog Pokémon pounced onto the Litwik and sunk its teeth into it. The Litwik let out a cry in pain and floated upward. It disappeared into the ceiling. A few moments later, a swarm of Litwik flew down and carried off Lilly’s Poochyena. “Poochyena!” screamed Lilly, watching as her Pokémon floated away with the wild Litwik, higher into the tower. Lilly frantically scrambled for the staircase, chasing after her own Pokémon. After two turns in the maze, she finally found the staircase and went up. “MORE MAZE?!” she screamed. “Who designed this place?!” Lilly ran through as fast as she could, not thinking about how to get through the maze, but just trying to get through. She reached what was roughly the middle of the maze before she stopped to catch her breath. “Don’t worry, Poochyena,” Lilly said to herself. “I’ll find you …” she tried moving forward after she rested for that brief moment, but was stopped by a wild Elgyem. “Out of my way!” screamed Lilly. The Pokémon kept hovering in front her, blocking her from moving forward. “Fine, you asked for it …” said Lilly, reaching for a pokeball. “Scyther, go! Use quick attack, follow with slash!” The mantis Pokémon appeared from its pokeball and darted forward, slamming itself into its opponent, and then hacked at it with its scythe-like arms. The Elgyem was moved out of the way and Lilly dashed before it could get back up. She ran to try finding the exit, taking whatever turns she could find, her Scyther following from the air. The Elgyem found its way in front of Lilly again, this time bringing a friend. “Scyther, use Fury Cutter!” yelled Lilly. The Scyther obeyed and hit both its targets, the second harder than the first. She kept running for it, the staircase up closer than before. Suddenly, a swarm of Elgyem poured in from the higher staircase. Lilly froze from fear. The Elgyem surrounded her Scyther, starting to drag it back up with them. “NO! Scyther, Fury Cutter!” The Scyther managed to beat a few back, but it was too much. The Elgyem overpowered it and dragged it higher into the tower. Tears welled up in Lilly’s eyes. She came to capture a Pokémon and ended up losing two. She wasn’t even sure she would be able to find them again, but she’d have to try. She held her last pokeball housing her Ekans and continued running. She reached a dead end and turned to go back. When she turned, there were Elgyem there, who grabbed her. Lilly struggled, trying to break free, not wanting to be dragged off. The Elgyem placed her back down on the other side of the wall, in front of the staircase. She stood there confused as she watched the Elgyem hover back up to the next floor. “Why didn’t they bring me higher up, too?” she wondered. She ran up the staircase to the fourth floor, where a smaller maze was. She was almost at the top, surely where her Pokémon were. She dashed through, seeing a few Litwik here and there and a few Elgyem who blocked her path. Lilly gave up fighting back and just took alternate routes. Lilly wanted her Pokémon back, and she would get them. She finally reached the other side of the maze where the staircase was. She ran up, not really sure what to find at the top. Lilly finally made it. Litwik and Elgyem flew around freely at the very top. She looked around and noticed a bell. She also saw three figures standing next to the bell. One was a human girl, dressed in barely anything. A top with long sleeves and gloves, but the shirt barely went below her breasts. Short shorts, boots, all of her clothing in a light blue color. The other two figures were … her Pokémon! Scyther and Poochyena! Lilly ran up to meet her Pokémon again. “Scyther, Poochyena!” Lilly yelled happily. The two Pokémon turned around and smiled. Lilly ran up and hugged them, then looked at the other girl up there. “And who are you?” she asked. “I could ask you the same thing …” responded the girl in blue. She never turned to face Lilly. “My name’s Lilly. I came here to catch a Litwik, but all the Pokémon here flew off with my own!” The girl turned to look at Lilly. “Well, they certainly don’t like when you mess with their family,” she said, with a smile on her face. Lilly thought over her experience. Are all these Pokémon really a large family? Close friends? Taking one away would surely make the others sad, at least not without a proper goodbye. They must know that owned Pokémon don’t normally act without their trainer. Had the wild Pokémon here taken her Pokémon as a form of teaching her a lesson? Lilly finally finished thinking it over. “Yeah, I guess you’re right …” “I’m Skyla. It’s nice to see someone else up here every once in a while!” She walked toward the large bell. "This bell is said to reflect the character of a person with its chime. Would you like to listen?” Lilly nodded, a big smile on her face. Skyla pulled the string on the bell. Its chime echoed with each one. It sounded nice, pure even! The wild Pokémon surrounding them slowed down to listen to the sound, almost like it was hypnotizing them. Skyla pulled out a pokeball and sent out a beautiful swan Pokémon. She climbed on it. “Well, I hope we see each other in the future,” she said. Skyla flew off on her Pokémon, towards the nearby city. Lilly took out her Pokémon’s pokeballs and had them returned safely. The Elgyem and Litwik started getting closer to Lilly and surrounded her, floating her down to the ground from the roof of the tower. They all started to fly back up after they dropped her off. All but one, a single Litwik. “Why are you staying behind?” asked Lilly. The Pokémon smiled and spun around a little bit. Lilly tried walking off, but the Litwik quickly flew in front of her. “Do you want to come with me?” asked Lilly. The Litwik’s flame grew bigger on those words, and its smile grew as well. It flew some distance away, giving room for a battle. “Alright, then …” said Lilly, glad she wouldn’t have to go somewhere else for a fire Pokémon. “Go, Ekans!” she said, throwing the pokeball storing her snake. Ekans appeared in a flash, and the Litwik immediately shot some blue flames, which made contact with Ekans. It left a burn mark on the snake, as it hissed from the pain. “Not gonna play around, huh? Ekans, bite!” The Ekans darted forward, but the Litwik flew upward, narrowly dodging. It launched a small orange flame, which hit the Ekans. It writhed a little bit from the hit, but quickly recovered. Ekans launched itself for another attack, which hit. It latched onto the small candle Pokémon and injected some venom into it. The Litwik spun and Ekans fell to the ground, quickly getting its battle stance back. “Ekans, use-“ Lilly stopped executing the command and threw a pokeball at the Litwik, hoping that she psyched it out. The Litwik saw the pokeball coming and flew a bit to the side, dodging the ball. Lilly finished the command. “Acid!” The Litwik quickly turned to be met with a spray of poison in its face. It yelled and started flying around frantically. Lilly took this time to locate the ball she previously threw. “Where is it, where is it …” Lilly said to herself, searching for the tiny ball in the grass. The Litwik finally launched an attack at her Ekans again, another hit. The Ekans wanted to attack back, but wouldn’t move without its trainer’s command. It started breathing heavily from the damage it had taken. Lilly finally found the ball. She grabbed the ball and threw the ball again, the Litwik was sucked inside. The ball fell to the ground. One shake … two … three . She captured the Pokémon she always wanted! But wait … there was no click, was there? What happened? The pokeball broke as the Litwik escaped, sending another flame to her Ekans. The snake Pokémon dropped from the hit and couldn’t get back up. Lilly recalled her Pokémon and pulled another pokeball from her waist, throwing it to reveal her Poochyena. “Poochyena, use bite!” commanded Lilly. The dog leapt forward, eager to meet its opponent. The Litwik shot some fire at the dog Pokémon, but the Poochyena easily dodged the shots. The fire ignited the grass it had hit. The Poochyena finally took a last jump and bit down. The Litwik started fumbling from the hit, barely being able to keep itself afloat. Lilly threw the pokeball in her hand, hoping to catch it this time. It sure was putting up a fight for wanting to be captured so badly. The ball connected and sucked in the Litwik. It fell to the ground and started shaking. One shake … a second … a third … a final click. She really had captured her Pokémon! With a beam of red light, she put her Poochyena back into its ball. She scooped up the other one housing the Litwik. She pulled her Aqua Bike DX from her bag and started going back to Mistralton to take the next plane back to Hoenn. Only after a few seconds, she stopped and looked back at the tower. She wondered what the bell would have sounded like if she had rang it. Would it have sounded sweet like Skyla’s? Would it have been an awful sound? Such thoughts she’d have to push to the back of her mind as she continued “home”.

Ren walked into the Grading Room as to which he was told to go to get started on his missions. He walked up to the desk to where he saw a man with a stack of papers at his side.
"Uh, excuse me. I was told to come here to obtain my missions?" he said questioningly.

It's been QUITE awhile since I've done one of these, and I just got around to finishing it after starting it so long ago. Hope it's up to par!
--------------------
MISSION- Fearow of Water
Level *
A group of Fearow have been harrassing travelers near the Power Plant. To make things worse, they have our emblem on their legbands. Naturally, we're getting blamed for it. Go and stop the Fearow (fight 3-5) and bring back one of the legbands.
Pokemon obtainable: Bellsprout Oddish Machop Spearow
Rewards: 600-1200
_____________________________________________________________
Adelle walked into Aqua HQ, her bag slung over her shoulder haphazardly as Houndour padded along next to her. It had been awhile since they'd last been here, the blue-haired Aquan a little anxious about returning considering her swift departure without so much as a goodbye to those she cared about. But, family always came first, and so when she'd received the call that she had to go home, she'd left without a second thought. It was fortunate that her parents were supportive of her decision to join Team Aqua, even going so far as to express their pride at the wide assembly of pokemon she'd managed to capture since she'd left home so long ago. Still, as soon as things were taken care of, Adie was ready to get back to her own journey and the friends she'd left behind.
Houndour weaved her way between Adelle's legs as the pair made their way towards her old bedroom, the girl almost tripping and dropping her bag with a loud thud. Instantly she winced, Houndour's tail wagging like crazy as she stood on her hind legs to press her front paws against their bedroom door.
"Looks like I'm not the only one excited to be back," she spoke softly, releasing a soft chuckle as she opened the door to let the pokemon into the room while she collected her bag once more. It was just as she left it, albeit in need of a good dusting. Moving over to her bed to deposit her things, Adelle suddenly felt two paws jab into her side as Houndour prodded her. For a moment, Adelle looked as if she were going to be angry, but as she turned to see the dark-type pokemon holding a note delicately in her jaws, the blue-haired Aquan gave the pokemon a knowing look before taking the note to read it. Some of the writing was smudged from Houndour's saliva, but she was able to catch the gist.
It was mission time.
'Adie - welcome back! It couldn't have some at a better time, since we need you to look into a matter for us. Head to the Power Plant, where we're getting blamed for some ruckus involving a flock of Fearow. Someone's trying to frame us, I know it! We just need you to get one of their leg bands and report back to base. Best of luck!'
"Well, look at that Houndour, we're not back 5 minutes and already we're needed. Let's go take care of this and then we can unpack later. This room's going to need a good scrub down anyways. Come on," she said simply to the pokemon, laughing when she realized that Houndour was already padding towards the door, clearly ready to get going. Rummaging about in her bag, she pulled out 5 pokeballs to attach to her belt, following along behind Houndour as they made their way out of the base and back onto the beach.
Releasing Tropius onto the sand, Adelle stepped forward to climb onto the giant pokemon's back, lifting Houndour into the crook of her arm as she did so. The pokemon took to the sky, Adelle leaning forwards to bury her face into the flying pokemon's back with a soft whimper. It was no secret that she hated to fly - if given the choice, she would swim anywhere - but, at this point time was of the essence.
Houndour barked over the sound of rushing wind, causing Adelle to lift her head enough where she could see what was going on around them. She'd never seen so many Fearow gathered in one place before, an involuntary yelp escaping her as one flew past Tropius in a threatening manner. The bug pokemon, for all her size and power, was a giant baby, and as the flying pokemon made a wide swoop in front of them to circle back in a powerful peck attack, Adelle knew that their time in the air was at an end.
"Tropius, let's hit the ground," she called out over the wind, the pair veering towards the ground and landing a bit harder than she would have liked in the tall grass surrounding their destination. Clearly, Tropius wasn't going to stand a chance, the super effective flying-type move that had connected with them in the air taking a lot out of the skittish pokemon. Despite Adelle's calls for the pokemon to come back, Tropius flapped her large wings to release a gust attack towards the again approaching Fearow, the wind causing the bird pokemon to soar into the air once more.
"Tropius, just calm down and return! We'll take care of it," she called out towards the panicking pokemon, once more attempting to return the frightened plant-type to her poke ball. Thankfully, her massive form disappeared in a flash of red light, the wild Fearow swooping down once more and flying straight towards Adie and Houndour.
"Houndour, Fire Fang," she called out, rolling to the side to avoid the flying-type. Fire brimmed the corners of her pokemon's mouth as she made a mighty leap into the air, artfully dodging the incoming Peck attack while getting in range to chomp down on the Fearow's wing. The wild pokemon released a shriek, flapping its massive wings to gain altitude as a quick enough pace that it forced Houndour to release her grip on the pokemon. Between the Gust attack Tropius had landed at the fire fang, the blue-haired Aquan was hoping that the wild pokemon was starting to tire, getting to her feet once more to unleash the final blow so she could get rid of this flying nuisance for good.
Adelle quirked an eyebrow slightly when she saw fire beginning to brim from the Fearow's beak, eyes widening when she realized that it was using Mirror Move. The wild pokemon swooped low to the ground, clamping it's beak down on Houndour's relatively tiny frame and dealing a bit of fire damage to the dark-type pokemon. Thankfully, Houndour didn't take too much damage from the fire type move, and it brought them closer together for Adie to deliver the final punch.
"Flamethrower," she called out, a confident grin speeding across her features as Houndour released a pillar of flame directly as Fearow's back, effectively singing the flying pokemon's feathers and causing the two of them to hit the ground. With the Fearow fainting, Houndour was able to easily free herself from the wild pokemon's clenches, Adelle looking around at the grassy area in which they stood before her sights fell on the Power Plant. The dark-type pokemon padded over to her, Adelle kneeling down to check the pokemon's injuries. She didn't seem too bad, but she would like to try and use the rest of her team some before sending her lap-pokemon out into battle once more.
"Alright, so now we just have to get one of those leg bands and head back to base to catch up with everyone. Piece of cake," she said simply, hands resting on her hips as she looked around towards the sky. After everything that had just happened she felt like any second now, another bird was going to plummet from the sky, intent on impaling her and her pokemon with its beak. Best be careful from now on.
Just as Adie was wondering where the Fearow could have gone, she heard the cry of a terrified pokemon off to the side, taking off in a run to see another Fearow harassing a poor Bellsprout. Whipping Flaaffy's poke ball from her bag, Adelle was all ready for battle when, to her utter dismay, a flash of orange erupted from the ball. Magikarp flopped around on the grass, Adelle feeling like she was about to fall over at her predicament. Likely sensing a pokemon weaker than the Bellsprout that it could pick on, the Fearow turned it's attentions to Magikarp, flapping it's massive wings quickly to produce a Gust attack that connected with the orange fish, sending it hurling into the air. Darn it all, she really needed to label his poke ball so stuff like this didn't happen anymore!
"Magikarp, you have to try to do something other than splash," Adelle cried out in dismay, already preparing herself to have to run over and catch him if it seemed like he wasn't going to be able to do anything against the pokemon that was clearly stronger than him. To her surprise, and delight it turned out, rather than flop around like, well, a dead fish, Magikarp steeled its demeanor and came down at the bird pokemon in a tackle attack. Even though it missed, the Fearow taking to the air to avoid the fish's feeble fighting attempt, it was a moment that she wasn't sure she would ever see. Looks like he wasn't as useless as she thought, after all.
"Did you-Magikarp, you did something not useless! I am so proud of you, but let's just take care of this here and now," she called out, beaming as she recalled the fish pokemon and released her initial choice, Flaaffy, into the grass.
It only took a Thundershock attack to bring the flying pokemon down, Adelle turning to the Bellsprout which was cowering against a bush. As she neared it, however, in an attempt to make sure that it was alright, a sting of pain shot through her as a Vine Whip attack connected with her calf. Initially, she hopped around on one leg, rubbing the red spot in an attempt to make the stinging go away while Houndour rushed forward, ever protective of her mistress, and chomping down on the wild pokemon's bell-shaped head in a Bite attack.
"Well, aren't you feisty," Adelle muttered, pulling an Aqua Ball from her bag and tossing it at the grass-type. The Fearow's damage must have been enough to weaken the pokemon before Houndour got ahold of it, the flower pokemon disappearing in a flash of red light as she waited anxiously to see if her catch would stick. After a few shakes, the ball sat still on the grass, Houndour obediently picking it up in her mouth and bringing it to Adie. At least she wouldn't get whipped again. Returning Flaaffy to her poke ball, Adelle twisted around to take a look at her leg, which was still red from the vine whip. Man, this mission was turning out to be harder than she thought.
"Alright, enough distractions! I have to get one of those leg bands…next Fearow I see, that takes top priority," she muttered to herself. Turning her sights on a bushy green tree, Adelle raised one eyebrow with a mischievous grin. If she were a Fearow, she knew that's where she would be.
Her slight frame made climbing the tree easy, though as she got higher into the branches, she began to question her current course of action. She had a pair of scissors, which she carried around in her bag in case of loose strings on her clothes, clenched between her teeth to avoid having to fumble for them later. Just what was she going to do if she came across a fully grown Fearow not in the mood to be messed with?
Time to figure it out.
Adelle's eyes went wide as she lifted herself onto a broad bough of the tree, a sleeping Fearow, surrounded by sleeping Spearow, roosting nearby. Considering the ferocity with which she'd seen the other bird pokemon fight, it was a little strange to see one so docile - no doubt if she made a wrong move, she'd find out how quickly its temperament could change. Dropping low to the tree, the blue-haired Aquan slowly scooted down the branch, pausing nervously when she heard the flying-type pokemon rustle its feathers.
"Nice Fearow…good Fearow," she muttered, standing to pick her way around the roosting Spearow in her quest to get ever closer to their evolved counterpart. As soon as she was within range, Adie slowly reached out, one hand clasping the band while the other reached for the scissors in her mouth. It wasn't until she heard the Fearow's snort that she looked up, scissors halfway to the band, and saw that her target was awake. She gave a nervous laugh, though it melted into a scream as the pokemon released an angered Cry, taking to the air. Unfortunately for Adie, she didn't have the good sense to let go of the creature's leg band, and instead found herself being lifted into the air.
Her legs flailed about wildly as she dropped the scissors in her attempt to get both hands around the Fearow's leg, picturing herself plummeting to her doom in her mind's eye. Houndour, whom she could barely hear above the sound of rushing wind, was barking towards them, running along the land to keep up. Reaching wildly around for a pokeball on her belt, she reached for the only other flying pokemon she had - Pidgeotto. The bird pokemon burst into the air with a powerful cry, Fearow answering with its own. Pidgeotto launched immediately into a quick attack, which connected due to Adie's extra weight slowing the Beak pokemon down.
As Pidgeotto swung back around, the tackle attack was intercepted by a Fury Attack, the Fearow's sharp beak hitting Pidgeotto three times in quick succession. Her pokemon rode an air current out of the way, Adelle calling for him to use another quick attack, though as soon as she saw him hover farther away she knew that she was not going to end in her favor. Pidgeotto summoned a Whirlwind, sending Fearow, and Adelle, spinning through the air. A scream erupted from her as she felt her grip on the Fearow's leg loosening, the blue-haired Aquan suddenly plummeting towards the earth. The whirlwind had at least pushed them closer to the ground, so when she hit it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be. Landing on her rump, the Fearow turned, flying away from the battle at top speed as Pidgeotto flew down, landing next to her.
"You know, you could have kept that from happening, you big birdbrain," she muttered, grimacing as she got back to her feet. Pidgeotto gave her a roll of her eyes Houndour finally catching up with them and running to her mistress to ensure that Adie was alright. The pokemon's concern was quite touching, the Aquan reaching down to scratch Houndour behind the ears. Pidgeotto called to get her attention, Adie looking over to see her bird pokemon coming towards her, dropping the torn leg band on the ground.
"Alright, at least I didn't waste my time and almost get killed for nothing." Houndour growled at Pidgeotto as the bird pokemon seemed to find her whole situation quite amusing, Adie stepping between them and returning the flying type to his pokeball. It was time to get the heck out of here before she was attacked by any more Fearow or Spearow. Scooping Houndour up in her arms, Adelle released Tropius once more, none too eager to take flight again, but knowing that it would be the easiest way out of the area. No sooner had she settled on the pokemon's back that the trio took to the skye once more, heading back towards Aqua HQ.

_____________________________________________________________
MISSION - That's the Spirit! Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Mt. Pyre and catch a ghost pokemon.
Pokemon: Duskull Shuppet
Funds upon completion: 300
_____________________________________________________________ Ren walks into the Team Aqua HQ. He was finally going to do his first mission. He was excited, pumped, and full of energy. He entered the room where the missions were posted. Seeing as he was fairly new to the team, he was starting at that lowest rank possible. He wanted to move up in the ranks, but he wasn’t sure if he did rank up that he was ready for it. Well there was only one way to find out: To do a crap load of missions and rank up. Hopefully, Ren would do them correctly the first time so he could rank up. As he skimmed over the board of Level 1 missions, he found one that peaked his interest. The mission stated that Ren was to capture a Ghost-type pokemon over at Mt. Pyre.
“Sweet! Getting paid to get a pokemon? This team kicks a**!” he exclaimed.
Having finally decided on taking that mission, he set off to Mt. Pyre. After several hours of travelling from Aquos Island to Mt. Pyre, Ren finally arrived. It was so dreadful just getting there. The amount of time spent traveling by boat was so dreaful, Ren was surprised that he didn’t get sea sick. He preferred traveling by plane, but he didn’t want to get stuck sitting in a cramped seat. Then again it would’ve taken less time, but traveling by boat, he was the only passenger.
“My. Pyre; the mountain where the pokemon are laid to rest. I’ve always thought when I was younger pokemon lived forever, that they never died.” he said to himself. “I guess I was wrong…”
He walked into the mountain and noticed several people were scatter across the first level standing in front of tombstones. This place was really depressing. Trainers and citizens came to pay their respects to their deceased pokemon. It was too much for Ren to handle. He took the stairs that lead to the second level and found no one.
“Good, at least it’ll be less depressing without the mourning.”
Venturing throughout the second floor was starting to become a drag. There were hardly any pokemon here. Well, Ren figured it wasn’t going to be easy to capture a Ghost-type pokemon, but he didn’t figure it was going to be like this.
“Alright, come on out Poochyena.” Ren tossed Poochyena’s pokeball midair as it popped open unleashing the Dark-type pup.
“Help me find a Shuppet. It’d be a nice addition to my team.” he asked Poochyena.
Ren and Poochyena searched for at least 2 hours and had still not found a single Ghost-type pokemon. Finally, they decided to sit down and rest. Ren sat down on the floor propped up against the wall whilst Poochyena leaped into his lap. Ren was running into exhaustion from just searching for one measly ghost. Why did it have to be difficult to find a pokemon. Well, he was accepted to Team Aqua, never did the letter say this was going to be easy. Ren’s eyes soon started to become heavy. He was falling asleep! Ren tried to keep his eys open, but the more he resisted sleep, the more sleep would overcome him. Finally, Ren dozed into a slumber. After a few moments of inactivity, Poochyena sensed a presence nearby. He couldn’t exactly tell who or what it was, but he just knew they weren’t both alone. Suddenly, a Shuppet appeared right in front of Poochyena. Instinctively, Poochyena stood its ground ready to engage should he have to. He let out a loud bark thus awakening Ren.
“Pooch, what’s up?” Ren said half asleep. After he fully opened his eyes, he realized what Poochyena was barking at. Finally a ghost pokemon had appeared and the one he wanted to capture too.
“Sweet! Quick Pooch, attack with Bite!”
Poochyena’s fangs enlarged as he charged towards the ghost pokemon. He jumped to engage and as he made contact with the Ghost-type, bit into the Shuppet. Poochyena pulled the Shuppet from the air and slammed the ghost against the floor. The force of gravity’s pull had caused Bite to do a great amount of damage, that and the fact of Poochyena having a type advantage.
The Shuppet, upset at the sudden engagement of the battle, decide to return the favor with a Night Shade. Unfortunately, the attack wouldn’t have much effect. But that didn’t slow down Ren and Poochyena.
“Once more, Bite!”
The Shuppet was levitating an inch or so from the ground. It was weak, and one more attack like that and Ren would have this in the bag. Poochyen’s fangs grew once more and charged at the weak pokemon. The collision was much easier this time. Charging at the Shuppet, Poochyena slammed his jaw shut as he bit into the Shuppet, thus initiating Ren’s cue for a capture.
“Go pokeball!”
Ren threw a vacant pokeball. The pokeball bounced off of the Shuppet’s head and popped open. A red beam engulfed the ghost pokemon and sucked it into the capsule system. After clasping shut, the pokebell just dropped lifelessly followed by a few shakes and fading of red light. After a while, the pokeball gave way thus indication a successful capture.
“Alright! I caught a Shuppet!” he exclaimed, but then realized he was in a vicinity where quite was required. He didn’t want to disturb any dead pokemon spirits.
“Ok let’s make our way back to Aquos Island.”
A floor and another long dreadful boat ride later, Ren made his way back to Team Aqua HQ.
{{My first mission!! Eeek! Hope I did well! >_<}}

Note: I read the new storyline with Aqua being evil again and everyone's memories being altered to suit the new aqua, but I had already finished the first two RPs here and was working on the next two when I read that, so I am assuming that these quests transpired before reality was distorted and things changed.
MISSION- Fair thee Well, Slowpoke! Level 1
Azalea Town is getting ready for a festival in honor of Slowpoke. However, they need a Slowking for the opening ceremony. Kurt was supposed to go catch one, but he's hurt his back and can't go.
Your mission is to go to the Slowpoke Well and catch a Slowpoke. Once you have one, take it to either Kurt or Bugsy, the town's Gym Leader. They'll reward you for your work.
Pokemon: Any Basic-stage Bug-type, if you trade Slowpoke to Bugsy.
Items: 5 of any kind of Ball (Except Aqua Ball, Master Ball or Luxury Master Ball), if you give Slowpoke to Kurt.
Reward: P$600
MISSION- Fossil Fraud Level 1
It seems there's someone in the Johto region selling fake pokemon fossils. From his description, it sounds like he's a Legendary Brilliance Gang peon. Track him down and put a stop to his scam. (You will face one LBG peon with 2 fossil pokemon)
Pokemon: None Rewards: 800 Item: One fossil of your choice
----------------------------------
After a bit of a vacation to get acquainted with the many new Pokemon that Ren and Kasumi had acquired while working for Team Aqua, they returned to their job and had promptly been sent off on a mission together, the teleporter dropping them off not far from Azalea Town, as was intended.
"West is away from the sun, so that way" Kasumi pointed.
Ren nodded "Lets go." he agreed and started walking through the trees and towards the village, with his sister following. After about a mile, the trees cleared away, and they entered the village.
"Are they coming to challenge Bugsy, Mama?" a little boy asked his mother, looking at the young duo nearby.
"Excuse me ma'am. We're looking for a man named Kurt." Kasumi told the woman "Can you give us some directions?"
"Oh, sure, everyone knows Kurt. Go two blocks and turn right. His house is the brown one at the end of the road." the mother answered.
"Thank you ma'am." Ren answered.
"Why are they looking for Kurt?" the little boy asked.
"We were sent here to help him with a certain task, something about catching a slowpoke for him." Kasumi answered.
"Oh, sure, Kurt is not as young as he used to be, and Bugsy's been kept busy lately as well, so his gym is closed." The woman answered "Hopefully he will be back soon, though."
"Thanks again." Ren told her "Once we have helped Kurt, we will see if Bugsy could use some help as well."
Kasumi and Ren waved and followed the woman's directions and soon came to the modest brown house that Kurt called home. They came to the door and Ren knocked.
After a couple moments, the door opened, and a younger girl looked out at them.
"You must be Maisy. We're here to help catch a slowpoke." Kasumi said.
"You're the Team Aqua people?" Maisy asked "My grandpa is expecting you." she stepped back and let them in.
Inside, Maisy closed the door and led them to Kurt's workshop.Kurt was an older guy with grey hair, thick, black eyebrows, and wrinkles, and he wore a blue martial arts uniform with a white belt. He looked up from his work bench and nodded to Ren and Kasumi "Ah, I've been expecting you. Thank you for coming."
"You are welcome, sir." Kasumi answered "Do you have any special instructions for us before we go to catch the Slowpoke for you?"
"Certainly" Kurt picked up two luxury Pokeballs off his counter "We need two slowpokes, one to be my granddaughters partner, and the second can be taken to myself or to Bugsy. Use these two Pokeballs to capture them, and bring them back. Payment has already been delivered in advance for your work, but I'll also have a special bonus for you both upon delivery, if the Slowpokes are brought to me."
Ren and Kasumi each took one of the luxury balls.
"East of town, there's an old well, at the bottom of which is a cave system where slowpokes like to live. Good luck to both of you." Kurt answered.
"I'll show you outside" Maisy offered as Kurt turned his attention back to his work. Ren and Kasumi took the hint and followed Maisy out, listening to the younger girl as she gave more specific directions to find the well.
As they departed, they followed Maisy's instructions and had no trouble finding the Slowpoke Well, but they weren't the first ones there.
"Scyther, use Fury Cutter!" the young gym leader, Bugsy, commanded, pointing at two Legendary Brilliance Gangs Peons he was fighting.
"Archen, acrobatics." One peon ordered
"Tirtouga, use Aqua Tail!" ordered the other. With superior speed and agility, Archen's attack connected with scyther, knocking the bug pokemon doen and cancelling its attempt at attacking, and Tirtouga's attack connected, knocking scyther out.
"Scyther, return!" Bugsy seethed.
"Does the little gym leader not have anymore Pokemon?" one of the peons laughed.
"Gym Leader Bugsy, what's going on?" Kasumi asked.
"These two have been selling phony Pokemon fossils" Bugsy answered "I was trying to run them out of town like I did the other three, but the coordination between these two is impressive."
"Pansage." Kasumi called, summoning forth her grass monkey Pokemon from it's Pokeball "We'll finish these two clowns then. You can take your Pokemon to the Pokecenter and get them patched up."
"Thank you. Don't let them overwhelm you" Bugsy ordered, then took off towards town.
"And you, Rotom!" Ren agreed, calling out his Pokemon. "Shock wave!" he pointed at Archen
"Pansage, use seed bomb!" she selected Tirtouga as her target.
The peons were slow to reply because they no longer had a numbers advantage, and it made them hesitate. Tirtouga and Archen, who were already weakened by fighting Bugsy, so both fainted.
The peon's recalled their Pokemon, and sent out the evolved forms of their previous Pokemon, Archeops and Carracosta.
"Carra! Hydro Pump!" One Legendary Brilliance Gang Peon called.
"Archeops, Wing Attack!" the other said, and both of them pointed at Pansage.
"Seed Bomb!" Kasumi ordered, pointing at Carracosta
"Shock Wave!" Ren ordered, pointing at Archeops, again trying to exploit type advantages. The four attacks connected all at once, and the combined attacks against Pansage knocked it out.
Kasumi called back her pansage, and sent out her meowth.
"Meowth! Use Payday!" Kasumi ordered and the others repeated the same orders, though this time both peons targetted Rotom, and Meowth and Rotom targeted archeops, and after all the attacks hit, Rotom and Archeops fainted.
"Fraxure!" Ren called, sending out his new Pokemon and recalling Rotom, and the remaining Legendary Brilliance Peon ordered Carracosta to use Hydro Pump again, this time at Meowth.
Kasumi was protective of her Meowth, and promptly recalled the cat Pokemon back to it's Pokeball before it could get hit, and she sent out her Marshtomp.
"Duel chop!" Ren ordered
"Scald!" Kasumi ordered, and Marshtomp's attack slowed Carracosta's Hydro Pump, and Fraxure's attack connected, stunning Carracosta, so that it's mouth snapped shut, which let Marshtomps scald attack through to connect.
"Giga Impact!" Ren ordered
"Ice beam! Lets end this!" Kasumi ordered, and before Carracosta could recover, both attacks connected, knocking Carracosta out. The peon was stunned "No!"
"Lets get out of here!" the other peon said, and started running, dropping his bag to escape faster.
The first peon recalled his Carracosta, and mimicked his buddy, dropping his backpack and running for it.
Kasumi knelt and started picking up the coins that her Meowth had made using payday, and she slipped then into her pocket while Ren looked through the two bags that were abandoned. He threw away a bunch of fake fossils, but found two that seemed to be real.
"Hey, sis, they actually had a couple real ones." Ren carried them over to her "One for each of us." he kept the cover fossil and gave her the plume fossil.
"We should report what transpired here to base." Kasumi suggested. "Bugsy mentioned there being three more of these guys. Maybe once we complete this mission we can go school them."
Ren pulled out his TADS and composed a quick message, and sent it, then he gestured for her to follow and headed to the ladder into the well.
Ren and Kasumi recalled Fraxure and Marshtomp, and climbed down the ladder to the bottom. It was dark down here, so Kasumi called her chinchou out of it's Pokeball "Please help to light our way." she requested "And warn us of any particularly deep water."
"Chou!" chinchou said, seemingly agreeing. The water was about a foot deep, so they started waded into it, following Chinchou's light.
They walked for maybe close to a mile, then the path opened into a larger area with elevated portions which were not flooded, and on many of them were Pokemon.
Angry, a kingler rushed them, and Kasumi called out Pory, her Porygon2, and Ren called out his bulbasaur. Seeing the charging Kingler, Bulbasaur didn't wait for instructions, and used razor leaf, and Kasumi ordered Pory to use discharge, and the combined attacks dissuaded the Kingler and made it turn and run away, but many other Pokemon were upset by the electric attack.
"Electric attacks might not be a good idea here." Ren commented.
"Yeah, maybe you're right." Kasumi recalled her porygon2, and sent out her Feebas.
Many Pokemon were charging, and Kasumi ordered her Feebas to use Icebeam and her chinchou to use bubblebeam, and Ren ordered his bulbasaur to use razor leaf, and the three Pokemon kept up the attacks while Ren and Kasumi urged them on until the aggressive Pokemon had either fled or been knocked out.
Among those that had were retreating to nurse their injuries, they saw four slowpokes, which were slower then other Pokemon as their name suggested, so Ren and Kasumi each directed their Pokemon to get ahead of two of them and cut off their retreat.
Feebas and Chinchou swam threw the watery cave, and Bulbasaur extended it's vines to pull it along, easily getting ahead of the Pokemon. Two slowpokes kept fleeing while Ren and Kasumi's Pokemon get the attention of the other two, and made them stop.
Both Slowpokes, realizing they had to fight, attacked with water pulse.
"Chinchou, use Spark! Feebas, Ice beam! Kasumi ordered.
Bulbasaur, use razor leaf! came Ren's order.
Bulbasaur struck one Slowpoke, and Feebas and chinchou struck the other, and both Slowpokes were distracted and seemed stunned a bit. Ren and Kasumi had no trouble getting in closer.
They tossed the luxury balls Kurt had given them and each drew in one of the Slowwpoke's. Kasumi's Slowpoke blinked twice before it clicked, indicating a capture, but Ren's blinked six times before the capture was successful.
"Milo, return." Kasumi called her feebas back.
"Bulba, you too." Ren called it back.
Kasumi looked at Chinchou "Show us the way out, please." Chinchou turned and led them out, and at the base of the well Kasumi recalled her Chinchou and they climbed up the ladder.
The trip back to Kurt's place was uneventful, and Ren once more found himself knocking on the door. Maisy again answered and led them to Kurt's workshop.
"Grandfather, they've returned." Maisy answered.
Kurt stepped back from his workbench, picking up a bag "Was your mission a success?" he asked.
Ren and Kasumi each held up a luxury ball. "Yes, they are here." Kasumi answered and they each passed their luxury balls over to Kurt.
"Thank you. And here is your reward" Kurt answered and handed them the bag he held "Five shiny balls for each of you."
"Thank you." Kurt answered "Maisy, please show them out. I have work to get back too."
"Alright grandfather." Maisy agreed.
Notes : Both characters used pokemon with an amulet coin, and Kasumi's Meowth used payday. Also I am working on a continuation of this rp that includes two more quests.. I will post that one when it's finished.

MISSION- Poke-kidnapping! Level 2 Some thieves have attacked the Daycare Center and are stealing the baby Pokemon! You mission is to go and stop them! (You will fight 4 thieves)
Pokemon: Pichu Azurill Igglybuff Wynaut
Money: 500
MISSION- Mission Im-Fossil-able Level 2 There is rumor that fossils have been found in the desert, your mission is to go and get ONE.
Funds upon completion: 200
Pokemon: None
Item: Fossil(Claw or Root)
----------------------------------
After leaving Kurt's house, they went to the Pokemon center and Kasumi called out her Porygon2 and took off the Amulet coin it had on. She then returned Pory to it's Pokeball, and brought out her Meowth and had it put on the amulet coin instead.
They had received an okay to investigate Bugsy's comments about three more members of the Legendary Brilliance Gang selling fake fossils, so they went to the pokemon transferring machine to change their team line-up.
Kasumi sent her Porygon2, Feebas, and Chinchou back to the base and kept Pansage, Marshtomp and Meowth. She received Prinplup, Onix, and Eevee to fill out her party.
Ren called out his Fraxure and removed the amulet coin it had, and returned Fraxure to it's pokeball, and he put the amulet coin on his Bulbasaur.
Ren deposited Rotom and Fraxure, and kept Bulbasaur, Seel, Pikachu and Volcarona. He took both his Eevee's to fill out his team.
From the Pokemon Center, they traveled to the Azalea City Gym and found the Gym Leader outside.
"Hey, Bugsy. We were just coming to ask you a few questions" Kasumi said in greeting.
"I recognize you. Were you able to overcome those guys at the Slowpoke Cave?" Bugsy asked.
"Yes, so we figured we'd investigate the other three you mentioned." Ren answered "We already got approval to make these inquiries."
"Very well. I chased three of them into Ilex Forest." Bugsy answered "They may be heading to Goldenrod City, but I warned the gym leader there of that possibility, so it wont be a good market there for their scam."
"We'll try to catch them before they can get to Goldenrod City." Ren answered "Shut down their little scheme before they are able to disappear into the City's masses."
After leaving Azalea city, they passed uneventfully through Ilex and emerged heading North on Route 34, having seen no sign of the Legendary Brilliance Gang members they were hunting.
On Route 34, they encountered a fisherman that challenged them to a battle, and Ren scouted ahead while Kasumi dueled the fisherman, using Pansage for a type advantage against the team of water Pokemon, after which she rushed to catch up with her brother.
Ren, she found, had stopped at the crest of a hill, and was kneeling. She quietly joined him and looked at what he was watching, which appeared to be the Pokemon Daycare, she'd heard of them, but never used their services before. It was late, and dark, and yet a window was broken and the proprietors were tied up inside.
"Four thieves have gone to the egg hatchery." Ren whispered, pointing at the out-building "They seem to be after the eggs. Two are inside, guarding the hostages, and two are concealed on the far side of the building, in the shadows."
It was starting to get dark, and the route was rather deserted, so this attack was timed and coordinated well. If Ren and Kasumi hadn't been passing this way, they probably would not have been noticed.
"I'll confront the two that are outside, and you take the two inside, the hostages are our first priority." Kasumi answered "You can teleport inside, and I'll cut off the other two before they can gather and team up on you."
"Clever." Ren smirked at his sister. "We'll do it your way."
Kasumi started stealthily sneaking towards the daycare's main house, taking advantage of any shadows she could find. When she was halfway there, Ren concentrated and teleported inside the building. He called forth his Bulbasaur as the two thieves jumped back in surprise.
"Bulba, razor leaf to cut them free!" Ren pointed at the elderly couple, and then called put his pikachu from it's Pokeball.
"Chuuuuuuuuuuuuu!" sparks gathered around the electric mouse's cheeks.
"Ariados, use fury swipes!" one of the thieves ordered.
"Sandslash, use Crush Claw!" the other thief ordered
Bulbasaurs carefully-aimed leaves cut the bindings on the elderly couple
"Thunder attack!" Ren directed his Pikachu at the Ariados first, due to Sandslash's near-immunity to electrical attacks
Pikachu, now the closest target for Sandslash, nimbly evaded the Crush Claw attack from Sandslash and let off it's thunder at Ariados in mid-air, right over Bulbasaur.
Bulbasaur finished freeing the elderly couple only to have Ariados skid to a stop, after getting struck by Pikachu's's Thunder.
"Vine whip, through that thing at the Sandslash" Ren ordered.
"Saur! Bulba saur!" using it's vines, Bulbasaur picked up ariados and threw it into the air, and then started whipping it with it's vines, causing it to fly threw the air.
Sandslash jumped upwards, using crushclaw again, and Pikachu, who still hadn't landed, couldn't dodge, the Slash sending him flying towards the ceiling with a crash.
Before Pikachu came back down, however, Ariados crashed into Sandslash, causing both to roll away a few yards and into a wall. They recovered soon enough, but Bulbasaur had already caught Pikachu and brought it's teammate to the ground safely, though Pikachu seemed to have taken quite a bit of damage.
"Ariados, use Cross Poison" the thief that owned Ariados ordered.
"Rapid Spin!" the other thief ordered
"Seed Bomb! Bulbasaur! Pikachu, Brick Break! Get that Sandslash! Ren ordered.
Bulbasaur jumped between Pikachu and Ariados, taking the poison attack, which it knew it could endure better then Pikachu. Bulbasaur took the hit and gave Ariados a quick vine whip to knock him bac, then looked at Pikachu as it was struck by Sandslash's rapid spin, and Sandslash slowed down, momentarily vulnerable to Bulbasaur's seed bomb attack.
The seed bomb struck, and knocked Sandslash onto it's side, and Pikachu, who was in poor shape, but still conscious, landed the finishing blow with a brick break attack.
"Ariados, bug bite!" called it's trainer, pointing at Pikachu.
"Pikachu, Thunder Wave! Bulbasaur, Leech Seed!" Ren ordered
"Pi-Pika-CCHUUUUUUUUUUUU!" Pikachu's thunderwave struck the charging Ariados, paralyzing it.
"Saur" Bulbasaur launched a seed at Ariados, and vines grew around the ariados, draining away it's vitality, the energy going to Bulbasaur to heal it.
The thief called out several attacks, but Pikachu's paralyzing attack disabled it well, and Ariados could not obey, and soon fainted.
--------------------
Outside, Kasumi had confronted the two out there, and her opponents were using a Noctowl and a Squirtle, while Kasumi had her Meowth and Pansage out.
"Meowth, use Night Slash!" Kasumi ordered as Noctowl was trying to use a wing attack. "Pansage, giga drain!" was her order in response to Squirtle's water gun.
The wing attack did some serious damage to Meowth, but it remained steady and landed it's nightslash attack a moment later, knocking Noctowl out of the air, and Pansage's gigadrain evaporated squirtle's water gun and dealt serious damage.
"Pay day! Iron tail!" Kasumi ordered and the thieves announced attacks too, but Kasumi already had the advantage and those attacks finished knocking out the thieves Pokemon. She had no bystanders to worry about, so she took full advantage of the element of surprise, and defeated the two trainers with ease.
--------------------
Inside the building, Ren finished tying up the two thieves he had defeated.
"The eggs...Those horrible men are after our eggs." the Daycare Lady said.
"I know, but I just wanted to save you first." Ren answered as Kasumi came inside, shoving the two thieves she'd defeated and tied up, their hair standing up from Kasumi shocking them a bit with her weather-related power to conjure up lightning, but she held back so it wasn't lethal.
She tucked some coins into her pocket from her meowth's Pay day and looked at her brother "Lets get the other four"
"This will be easy. The other four didn't bring Pokemon. These four were their guards." Ren told his sister.
"Then lets go" Kasumi headed out the back door ahead of her brother and raced to the out-building where one man was standing guard outside, and shouted in alarm. She sent out her Eevee and Prinplup, and Ren sent out his Eevee's too, and they called out attacks.
"Prinplup, use Peck, Eevee, Quick Attack!" Kasumi agreed.
"Quick attack!" Ren ordered.
The Pokemon attacked, and the guard was soon dazed, and they proceeded to attack the other three, and soon all four were tied up.
The old daycare couple came over to them "Thank you, you saved our eggs." the lady said with gratitude.
"Azzzuu." a voice came from inside the building
The daycare couple headed into the egg building and Ren and Kasumi followed, and where an egg had been sitting on a shelf, there was now an Azuril.
"Oh, it's so adorable." Kasumi squealed in delight.
"Azzzzzzzzzzuuuuuu!" the Azuril hopped off its shelf and walked over to Kasumi, and she picked it up, and the water mouse cuddled with Kasumi.
"The police are on the way, they'll take care of these thugs." the daycare man told them "The eggs on that shelf were set aside to be put up for adoption in Goldenrod City when they hatched, but if you hadn't helped us out, all the eggs would have been lost. It's only fair that your efforts be rewarded."
"Yes, take that dear azurill." The daycare lady told Kasumi "There already appears to be a bond between you two."
"Would you like that?" Kasumi asked her Azurill.
"Azzzzzuuuu!" the Azurill seemed happy with the news.
The daycare man picked up another egg "This one should be hatching soon. Take it" he offered it to Ren.
Ren nodded, accepting the egg "Thank you, sir. We were happy to help you."
They heard sirens coming, and Ren and Kasumi called back their four Pokemon to their Pokeballs
"We should meet the police and help them round up these thieves" the daycare lady suggested, and the couple led them to the gate next to the house and went to the front, telling the police where the thieves were. Once the law had taken away the goons, the daycare couple invited Ren and Kasumi inside and took them to a Pokemon transferring device, and said they were welcome to use it.
Kasumi thought her Pansage had taken a bit too much of a beating, so she sent him back to Aquos Island, and Ren sent back his pikachu for a rest. Kasumi then set down the Azuril on a counter ans pulled out a Pokeball "You want to be my friend and join me?" she asked.
Azurill ran to the Pokeball, and into it, and then the Pokeball activated and Azuril was drawn into the Pokeball.
"You should rest here tonight" the daycare man advised the siblings.
"I wish we could, but we are pursuing some scam artists who are selling phony fossils. We might still be able to catch them before they reach Goldenrod City if they are on foot, and they stop for the night." Ren explained
"Then at least let us give you a bit to eat and fill your bellies before you go" the daycare lady offered back.
After a quick meal, Kasumi and Ren set off and resumed their course North towards Goldenrod City, even though it was a pitch black, moonless night. Thirty minutes into the walk, Ren's Pokemon egg hatched into a Wynaut and he befriended it and convinced it to join him and enter a Pokeball.
Twenty minutes after that they came upon a campsite with three Legendary Brilliance Gang Peon's gathered around the campfire. Ren and Kasumi exchanged smirks from their hiding place. They'd caught up with their prey.
Kasumi selected two Pokeballs and her Meowth and Prinplup and Ren did the same, calling out his Bulbasaur and Seel.
"Tops!" a Kabutops said in alarm, emerging from a tree and trying to slash Bulbasaur.
Bulbasaur leapt away, and attacked with a vinewhip.
"Oh-maaaaaaaaaaa-star!" An Omastar came from another direction, attacking Meowth with a water gun. Meowth wasn't as fast to react as Bulbasaur, and got hit.
"Prinplup, use Hydro pump!" Kasumi ordered
"Seel, use Icebeam!" Ren ordered.
Getting struck by the Hydro pump, Omastar stopped using water gun, and a very wet and angry Meowth attacked with Fury swipes.
The combined two-on-one attacks against Omastar and Kabutops knocked both the Pokemon out, but now the legendary Brilliance gang was aware of their presence. Two peons called back their Pokemon, while the third person, not a peon, it seemed, raised an eyebrow.
"Damn you Team Aqua." The higher ranked LBG member scowled and called out an aerodactyl, climbed onto it and flew to the North while the Peons called out another Omastar and Kabutops.
"Bulbasaur, use Razor Leaf! Seel, Icebeam!" Ren ordered
"Prinplup, Hydro Pump, Meowth, Night Slash!"
Bulbasaur and Seel double-teamed Kabutops, and Prinplup and Meowth Double teamed Omastar, and the combined attacks from their double-teaming overpowered the poorly-trained fossil Pokemon and knocked them out.
The LBG peons tried to flee, but Ren teleported in front of them, and clothes-lined both of them, knocking them to the ground "You are going to tell us exactly what the Legendary Brilliance Gang is up too. Everything." Ren told them, mentally asserting his will upon them like a psychic dagger, counting on their weak minds being unable to resist his order.
"We're just Peons, they don't tell us stuff." one of the men said.
"The boss knows more, he's got a lair in the Goldenrod Underground."the other Peon said "Please let us go."
"I could give you to the police." Ren countered.
"And the Captain would escape" the first Peon answered "Also, we could give you fossil's. Real ones."
"Their Captain is a bigger fish." Kasumi conceded "Show us these fossils. If they are real, we'll let you go."
The peons sat up and went through their packs, and each pulled out an old amber.
Kasumi and Ren each took one amber and examined them, and nodded and slipped them into their packs "Be gone, but don't you head to Goldenrod City. Turn away from these law-breakers and go legit, or next time you will go to jail."
The Peon's called back their Omastar and Kabutops and then fled, heading south, away from Goldenrod.
"You get the location of this lair from their thoughts?" Kasumi asked Ren.
"Of course." her brother answered "Lets go." Ren turned and called Seel and Bulbasaur back to their Pokeballs and Kasumi took the hint and returned Meowth and Prinplup to their Pokeballs.
Ren took her hand and teleported themselves closer to goldenrod, and then he teleported to the edge of goldenrod, and then he teleported a third time and they were inside the Goldenrod Pokecenter.
Teleporting his max distance, so many times in a row, took a lot out of him, but he wanted to get to the lair before the LBG Captain, and he wanted his strongest team, because he knew this captain would be no pushover.
Ren walked up to the Pokemon transfer machine and programmed it to access their Pokemon Stored on Aquos Island, and he sent his inexperienced Eevee's, his wynaut, and his Seel home, and recovered his Fraxure, Mightyena, Delibird, and Pikachu.
Kasumi took her turn and sent Azumarill and her Eevee home, and got her Porygon2 (Pory) and Abomasnow (Snowy), but she elected to keep her Meowth with her.
Their teams ended up as:
Kasumi's team: Meowth (Amulet Coin) Porygon2 (Pory) Abomasnow (Snowy) Marshtomp Prinplup Onix
Ren's Team: Bulbasaur (Amulet Coin) Pikachu Volcarona Mightyena Fraxure Delibird (Deli)
They restored the default settings to the transfer device, then Ren grasped his sisters hand and teleported them to the Underground, which was deserted at this late hour. He headed towards the photo studio and they walked in, the door being left unlocked, as the peons knew it would be. They looked at the different backdrops on the wall, and found a very realistic desert backdrop.
Ren teleported them again, this time just to the other side of the secret door into the LBG base. They had beaten the Captain here, so they started looking around the large underground factory that seemed to be producing fake fossils. "This seems to be where they made those fakes." Ren explained.
"I don't think these two are fakes." Kasumi picked up two fossils she had found "One for each of us." she gave Ren the Claw Fossil and she kept the Root Fossil for herself. "We should prepare and lay in wait for this guy."
Ren nodded "Yes, he might arrive any moment" Ren picked a good hiding spot and they watched for the LBG Captain. They didn't have to wait long, and then the man they sought walked in, accompanied by a Rampardos and a Bastiodon.
Quietly, Kasumi and Ren each grasped two Pokeballs, waiting until the man was well into the factory before sending out their Pokemon to block the door so he couldn't double back. Kasumi had sent out Snowy, her Abomasnow, and Prinplup, and Ren sent out his Bulbasaur and Deli, his Delibird.
"Rampardos, Earthquake." the LBG captain ordered without facing the Pokemon.
The Captain had grabbed a poll for support, and remained standing while Rampardos struck the ground and the place shook violently, dealing heavy damage to Bastiodon, Snowy, Prinplup, and Bulbasaur, but all remained conscious. Somehow Ren and Kasumi had managed to remain standing. Deli lifted into the air and used a blizzard attack at Ren's mental suggestion, targeting Bastiodon, which was already weakened by it's teammates attack.
"Icebeam, Snowy, Hydro pump, Prinplup." Kasumi ordered, targeting Rampardos.
"Bulbasaur, Razor leaf!" Ren ordered, targeting Bastiodon.
"Bastiodon, endure the attacks!" the captain ordered and then looked at Rampardos "Earthquake again!"
Bastiodon steadied itself, preparing to endure the attacks from Deli the Delibird, Bulbasaur, and Ramparos.
Rampardos took the hits from Kasumi's Pokemon, and slammed the floor again.
Bastiodon managed to endure the attacks, including the earthquake, but Snowy, Bulbasaur and Prinplup were not so fortunate, getting knocked out instead.
Ren called back his Bulbasaur, and sent out his Volcarona.
Kasumi called back her Prinplup and Abomasnow, and sent out Pory the Porygon2, and Meowth.
"Volca, Psychic attack, Deli, Blizzard again!" Ren ordered. Deli targetted Bastiodon, and Volarona did as well.
"Hyper Beam, Pory, Night Slash Meowth" Kasumi orded, pointing at Rampardos.
"Thunder, both of you" the captain pointed at Volcarona and Delibird. Attacks clashed, Delibird and Volcarona managing to knock out Bastiodon, though Bastiodon managed to remain conscious long enough to strike delibird with a thunder attack, and Rampardos struck Volcarona with it's attack, knocking out both of Rens Pokemon.
Prinplup and Pory struck and knocked out Rampardos after it had attacked Volcarona.
Ren recalled his defeated Pokemon and sent out his pikachu and mightyena.
The LBG Captain sent out an Armaldo and Cradilly.
Attacks were thrown back and forth, and the next to faint were Ren's Mightyena and Kasumi's Meowth, and they were replaced by Kasumi's Onix and Ren's Fraxure.
Following that, Kasumi's Onix was knocked out, though not before it had destroyed much of the equipment in the factory, then Ren's Pikachu was knocked out, and Ren and Kasumi were down to each of their last Pokemon, Kasumi with Marshtomp and Ren with Fraxure.
They finally took down Armaldo and Cradilly, and the LBG Captain called out his last Pokemon, an Aerodactyl.
"You've got talent, I will confess, but you are down to your last Pokemon, and they are weakened, and this is my most powerful Pokemon. You should surrender and Join the Legendary Brilliance Gang." the Captain gloated.
"Never!" Kasumi yelled
"Never!" Ren yell, just a moment later.
"Tomp! Marrrrrrrrrshtomp!" said Marshtomp aggressively.
"Frax!" Fraxure growled.
In their anger, and desire to win, Marshtomp and Fraxure began evolving, and soon they were Swampert and Haxorus
"Our Pokemon have evolved because they want to fight you." Ren answered "We will win!"
"Hydro Pump!" Kasumi ordered
"Iron Tail!" Ren ordered.
"Hyper Beam!" the LBG Captain ordered not holding back anything, but he didn't target Swampert or Haxorus, he instead pointed at Ren and Kasumi.
Seeing the attack coming, Ren and Kasumi quickly raised a protective barrier around themselves from the hit.
Fully expecting Ren and Kasumi to be dead and the Pokeballs for Swampert and Haxorus to be destroyed, the LBG captain threw two master balls at Swampert and Haxorus.
Swampert's hydro Pump struck Aerodactyl, and stepped on the Masterball that had harmlessly bounced off it, crushing it, and Haxorus ignorred the Master Ball and crushed it under foot and carried on with the iron tail, striking Aerodactyl.
Aerodactyl had tried to dodge both of the attacks by taking flight, but it was a massive pokemon, and they were underground, with limited room to maneuver, so it's larger size was making it be at a disadvantage.
"Swampert, take down!" Kasumi called out.
"Dragon Pulse! Ren ordered.
The Captain looked at them with shock "You shouldn't be able to stand." his Aerodactyl was well trained, so that attack should have destroyed their Pokeballs. He did not know about their powers as hybrids, which protected them and the Pokeballs in each of their hands.
Once more, it's massive size worked against Aerodactyl and he couldn't dodge Swampert's or Haxorus's attacks, but the Aerodactyl was durable and seemed to have little trouble shaking off those attacks too.
"Aerodactyl! Giga Impact!" The Captain ordered
"Blizzard attack! said Kasumi.
Dragon Pulse! Ren pointed at Aerodactyl.
Aerodactyl tried to attack swampert this time, but Swampert was smaller and managed to dodge the full force of the blow, only getting grazed by it, and even so it was thrown into the side wall with terrible force.
Haxorus struck with dragon pulse, knocking Aerodactyl into another wall, and shaking the room. Swampert recovered, remaining conscious, but seemingly just barely, but it still got off it's blizzard attack, striking Aerodactyl.
Ren and Kasumi ordered the same attacks again, and Haxorus and Swampert struck again, preventing Aerodactyl from getting up. Ren and Kasumi used their pokemon to carry on the attack as long as they could.
Aerodactyl managed to get up, but couldn't take flight against the relentless assault. "Thunder Fang!" the Captain ordered, and Aerodactyl charged straight into the attacks on it's legs, gathering electricity in it's mouth, and when it got near enough, it bit and threw Swampert across the room.
That should have defeated Swampert, but stubornly it rose back to it's feet, using blizzard again.
"Ice fang!" the LBG Captain ordered, and aerodactyl charged at Haxorus, straight through the dragon pulse and blizzard attacks, finally starting to slow down a bit.
Aerodactyl reached Haxorus and bit it with an icy bite attack, and through it across the large room as well, crashing into the wall near Swampert.
Stubbornly, Haxorus rose to it's feet, using Dracon pulse again.
"Thunder Fang!" ordered the Captain, and the Aerodactyl charged, and nearly reached swampert, before finally succoming to all the damage and fainting.
That particular Aerodactyl seemed to be unbelievably powerful, but things had worked in their favor because they were underground and Aerodactyl had limited room to maneuver. If it had room to fly and Maneuver, they likely would have lost.
The LBG Captain recalled his Pokemon and tried to flee, but Haxorus and Swampert stopped him, and Ren mentally lashed out at the man and made it easy to tie him up. They seperated him from his Pokeballs, and then went to the Goldenrod Pokecenter, which was just opening for the day, and they left their Pokemon there to be healed before returning to interrogate the Captain about what the Legendary Brilliance Gang was up too.
As a result, they learned that the gang had abducted some scientests to resurrect fossil pokemon, as well as preparing to steal the Skarmory's Eye, a mysterious gem rumored to be hidden near Blackthorn City or Mt. Silver.
After some talking between themselves, Ren and Kasumi decided to rescue the kidnapped scientests and end whatever wicked ambition that the EBG had in mind with the Skarmory's eye. They handed the LBG Captain over to the local authorities, and recovered their pokemon from the pokecenter, then returned to Aquos Island to rest.
They awoke hours later, to utter chaos. Strange vortexes had formed around Aquos Island, and upon trying to teleport, Ren found that his teleportation ability seemed to be neutralized by these anomalies. Instead, he woke Kasumi and they raced to their personal storage area, which he had created.
The room was large, and kept their Pokeballs in neatly organized shelves, and automatically released unused Pokemon from their balls three times daily in order to feed them and let them drink, but now the Island was in danger, so Ren and Kasumi selected a few Pokeballs each, then Ren activated emergency procedures.
All the Pokeballs moved and dropped into two magical pockets that they'd created with much effort into special coins, though they never thought they'd have to use it.
Ren and Kasumi each picked up a coin that held their other Pokemon in suspecnded animation, then they tried to get to the teleporter. They turned down the final hallway, and a new vortex formed directly in front of them. Even if Ren were able to teleport, it took a few moments of concentration, and they didn't have a few moments before they were pulled in, and found themselves in Lilycove city.
They had no idea how they got there, or who they were, or even what the coins each held were, they just knew that they needed to get to Johto for some reason.
They tucked the coins away in their pockets and started checking what Pokemon were in the Pokeballs they had with them, since they were uncertain about even that.
Kasumi had Mudkip, Meowth, Eevee, and Onix, and her brother had Poochyena, Bulbasaur, Eevee, and Axew.
--------------------
Notes: Amulet Coin used by both characters, payday used once by Meowth. And regarding the third mission, there was no desert in Johto, but the desert backdrop appears in the Goldenrod Underground in Heart Gold and Soul Silver, so I employed a bit of creativity and did the mission in an original way that fit into Johto's terrain.

Double failure. If you're going to do battles, I need to see the battles. Also, once a Pokemon is fainted, you can't catch it. Fix those, and these should pass.

Brian_Link Double failure. If you're going to do battles, I need to see the battles. Also, once a Pokemon is fainted, you can't catch it. Fix those, and these should pass. In the games, sure, you can't catch fainted Pokemon, but I figured it was okay here. Anyway, amending the slowpoke battle is no problem, I already fixed that. I always figured that realistically if a Pokemon were knocked out it would be easier to catch As for the battles in the second rp, they were added by choice, not actually necessary for the completion of the three missions, so I went montage-style, went back and forth a bit, but I'll go ahead and improve the battles anyway. Updating those battles will take a few hours, I think, because if I'm going to do something, I like to do it right. Anyway, I'll get started on that now. Edit - I finished editing those rp's. The first one was pretty easy to edit, but I took longer and improved the battles in the second Rp, and I think they came out well.

MISSION- Birch's First Break-in Level 1 (Technically, but I tried to do it and treated in like Level 2) Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Prof. Birch's lab in Littleroot and steal one of his three pokemon (Treeko, Torchic, Mudkip). You must sneak in at night. But don't get caught by Prof. Birch or his assistant. At some point you must battle the pokemon you stole/are stealing, if you want to catch it.
Pokemon: Treecko Torchic Mudkip
Funds upon completion: 300
--------------------
It was night, and Littleroot town was really quiet tonight. Ren and Kasumi walked through the sewers to the previously identified spot underneath Professor Birch's lab. The previous even they had worked their way up until they had exposed the buildings floor, but by then it had been dawn and they'd been forced to retreat for the day.
Now that night was back. and the lab was empty, they climbed the ladder they's left there and pried up a few boards, and Ren boosted Kasumi up into the lab. Kasumi grabbed a Pokeball from her belt and called out her Meowth "It's time. Like we practiced."
"Meow." Meowth hopped from the floor to a nearby bookshelf.
Kasumi turned in order to help her brother up, trusting Meowth to do her job. Meowth, meanwhile, climbed to the top of the bookcases, and then walked along them to the labs entrance to the keypad for the security system.
After much hacking, Ren had managed to learn the password to disable the security, and they'd taught Meowth to type it in using a claw, and Meowth did not let them down. After disabling the alarm, Meowth ran back to Kasumi and Ren, to indicate that they could move again.
They had calculated well, and came up in a corner of the lab that was not protected by laser sensors, which was what they needed Meowth to disable, but they still had to act fast, because every night at 2 am the password changed, and they did not have tomorrow's password. That gave them a half hour.
They walked into the lab, towards the Professor's workstation, and Kasumi slid the briefcase that was upon it over to Ren. The briefcase had an electronic lock upon it, so Ren started working his magic, getting a tiny panel off and tinkering around inside it until the briefcase clicked and opened up, revealing three Pokeballs.
"Only one each, huh? I think I'll take Torchic" Kasumi picked up the Pokeball that was next to the fire symbol.
"Then I'll take Treeko." Ren picked up the one by the grass symbol, leaving a lone Pokeball next to a water symbol
Just to mess with the Team Magma goons, Ren took out the water pokemon Mudkip, and put it into the fire Pokemon slot, then he closed the case and it locked automatically, and he restored the panel he had removed.
Ren and Kasumi headed back to their entry point and Kasumi recalled her Meowth to it's Pokeball, then helped Ren to get down onto the ladder, and she, in turn, let Ren help her to get down.
Kasumi climbed down the ladder and held it steady while one by one Ren put the floor boards back and nailed them into place, then reinforced the boards so that this entrance method would not likely be discovered. Not considering what Team Magma had in mind tonight.
Ren hardly had enough time to get down and throw their ladder into the sewage muck between the two walkways when they heard an explosion from above. He pulled out his TADS, which he had used to hack into the labs security system and get tonight's codes, and with the push of a button he set off the labs alarm and turned on the labs camera's.
He then tapped into the camera's, and saw two Magma Peon's who had blown out the back wall of the lab and gone for the briefcase that they'd just accessed, and they took off with the whole briefcase.
"Lets get this done." Kasumi answered and called out her Meowth again"Help me catch it."
"Myowth!" Meowth said, excitedly.
Kasumi then took Tochic's Pokeball and released the fire Pokemon.
"Chic?" Torchic asked with confusion, looking around.
Kasumi dropped Torchic's Pokeball, and crushed it under her foot "Meowth, use pay day." Kasumi ordered.
"Myowth!" Meowth answered and started throwing coins at Torchic.
"Chic....chic...Torchic!" Torchic complained at being attacked, and used ember.
"Slash attack. Kasumi ordered.
Meowth was a bit singed, but shook off the effects of the ember and attacked again, and Torchic was flung into the wall.
Kasumi took an unused Pokeball, and threw it at Torchic. The light on the ball blinked three times, then stopped, indicating a successful capture.
Ren faced the other direction and called out his Axew, and then called out Treecko, and he dropped Treecko's Pokeball and crushed it. "Axew, use Dragon Pulse. Ren ordered while Kasumi picked up Torchics new Pokeball, and then she recalled Meowth and started picking up coins off the floor.
Treecko attempted to use a pound attack against Axew, which brought the grass type in really close when Axew used a point-bland range Dragon Pulse, for serious damage.
Treecko then jumped back, using Mega Drain.
"Dragon claw." Ren ordered.
Axew jumped after Treecko, launching a powerful claw that blew Treecko to the floor. Before Treecko could get up again, Ren threw a Pokeball and struck the Treecko, drawing the Pokemon inside. The light blinked four times, then clicked, indicating a successful capture.
"Lets go." Kasumi said as Ren picked up Treecko's new pokeball, and both kicked the remains of the broken Pokeballs into the muck between the paths. Kasumi then led the way through the sewers until they emerged at their safe house.
They showered, changed into new clothes, hid both their TADS', and Treecko's and Torchic's Pokeballs in a safe in the safe house, and they burnt their clothes they had been wearing, along with their fake fingerprints that they'd been wearing over their own.
There was one more task that they needed to do before leaving town with their new Pokemon.
The early morning sun was rising as they were walking out of the city, and towards the base that the Magma Peon's were using, which was just a small cave. They'd overheard the Magma's plans to rob the lab, just like they were planning, so of course it was a perfect opportunity to let Magma's take the blame.
As they approached the cave, they heard voices from within, and Ren called out his Poochyena and Kasumi called out her Mudkip, and they all walked into the cave.
"Team Magma!" Kasumi called out when the boys in that oh-so-familiar red outfits.
The magma Peons turned and grabbed a Pokemon each, and called out a Zubat and a Numel.
Kasumi and Ren had witnessed these guys training, so they were aware of their only two Pokemon, and they'd chosen their own Pokemon with that in mind when they came inside.
"Hydro Pump!" Kasumi ordered, pointing at Numel.
Crunch! Ren pointed at Zubat.
The Magma Peons were slow to call attacks, and Poochyena and Mudkip were particularly powerful for their kinds, so their attacks were devastating, and knocked out the Numel with a single hit and did a good amount of damage to Zubat, though Zubat escaped Poochyena's mouth and remained conscious.
"Supersonic" the magma peon ordered Zubat while his partner recalled Numel and sent out their newly acquired Pokemon
The stolen mudkip emerged from it's Pokeball, and Ren grinned, knowing that the authorities would be here soon. That Pokeball was tagged, if the Pokemon was stolen and taken out of Professor Birch's lab without being authorized, then the tag built into the Pokeball would be a beacon for the law leading right to them
These idiots had not researched enough to know the security measures that the Laboratory as Ren and Kasumi had, which was why they had destroyed those Pokeballs directly beneath the laboratory, to avoid activating that beacon. Now that they were in different Pokeballs, there was no way for the law to track them, and any fingerprints the law found would not match Ren or Kasumi because they wore those fake fingerprints over their fingertips
"Tor....Ehhhhh? A Mudkip?" the Magma grunt was surprised, having expected it to be a Torchic.
Zubat's supersonic attack made Kasumi's Mudkip and Ren's Poochyena confused, but they had other Pokemon, so they swapped them out for their Eevee's.
Their priority was to stall, now, and let the cops arrive.
"Bite attack that Zubat!" Kasumi ordered.
"You too! Bite!" Ren ordered
The Zubat managed to dodge Kasumi's Eevee, but not Ren's Eevee, and the Zubat fainted.
The Peon recalled his Zubat and his buddy got scared because the fight was now two-against-one.
"Run away!" the other Peon shoved past Ren and Kasumi and recalled the stolen Mudkip as he tried to flee.
Ren and Kasumi ran after him, and once outside, where they had room, Kasumi sent out her Onix too, and and Ren sent his Bulbasaur to capture the Peon and drag him back. The other Peon tried to sneak away, but their alert Eevee's put a stop to that.
Then the Police arrived, Ren and Kasumi were finished tying up the Magma Peon's.
"Hello, Officers." Kasumi greeted them "We saw these Magma guys and figured they must be up to no good. We just caught them, and were going to head to town to tell you guys."
"You'll have to come with us, too, until we get to the bottom of this." one of the officers told them.
"Okay, sure, lets get this over with. Ren agreed.
Ren and Kasumi accompanied the police back to Littleroot Town and were fingerprinted to eliminated as possible accomplices to Team Magma, but after six hours of investigating they found no fingerprints connecting them to the Laboratory robbery, and only the Magma guys appeared on the videotape.
Ren and Kasumi were given Certificates of Appreciation for Service to Littleroot Town, and Team Magma took the blame while Ren and Kasumi each slipped out of town as local heroes, after secretly recovering their TADS' and their own ill-gotten Pokemon.
Notes -Used pay day, lol, will be making a point to use that at least once every rp from now on to help me replenish my money. I think this level 1 mission turned out awwwwwwwwwweeeeeeessssssooooommmmeeeee.

Mission: A Planner for A Scanner
Objective: Go to the Abandoned Ship and get the scanner. The scanner should be near the back of the ship, but some of the passageways may be flooded.
Pokemon: Pokemon: Magikarp, Wailmer, Barboach, or Feebas
Rewards: 400 Pokémon Dollars
----------Mission 6: Start!----------
indentRei Hikari was exhausted. After a week of cleaning, unloading, cleaning again, and arranging, his room was finally finished. For a hermit who lived as a roamer, he owned quite a lot of objects. But what held his attention this day was a piece of paper taken from the mission board.
indentRei looked from the paper to his large map on the wall. "The Abandoned Ship, eh? I wonder what's so important about that scanner..."
indentHe stretched and turned to his now-organized library wall. A quick search later, he pulled out a large book titled "Seas of Hoenn." After a long study of the maps, he closed the book, replaced it, and went to the door. Rei locked his door and went to Team Aqua's docks.
indentAbout an hour later, he arrived at Slateport City. It was market day, and crowds were abundant. Rei's Zubat shuffled further inside his hood; all these people, all that blood, and she couldn’t do anything about it. She hated it. Rei chuckled.
indent"Countess, we'll be indoors soon enough. All we have to do is find anyone with a boat willing to get near enough to the wreckage."
indentAfter a quick search, only one boat was willing to go for free: a rusty steamboat named the S. S. Rhapsody, her captain a crazy old man named Krae. He grinned in response to Rei's request.
indent"Sure, I'll get you to that old thing. I needed new cheese."
indentThe Countess shifted uneasily on Rei's shoulder, and with great effort, her partner smiled.
indent"Alright then, let's go." Rei had his doubts about the boat's integrity, but he was anxious to leave before the sea changed face. The Captain laughed heartedly and agreed. As they boarded the boat and departed, Rei pulled out a gummy, liquid-filled fruit snack; a favorite of his Zubat, it both calmed her and kept her busy while Rei attempted to receive information from the Captain.
indent"So, how often do people visit the old ship?"
indentThe old man thought for a moment. "Well, I'd say not many very often much. Mebbie more than once per day-week."
indentRei had no idea what the man meant. He looked at the ship in the distance, suddenly aware of a small raft bobbing beside the wreckage.
indent"So, definitely not enough people to fill a raft."
indentThe old man squinted, then pulled out a spyglass. He frowned, handing the spyglass to Rei.
indent"Lookit that fella. He don't look too nice-like. I mean, no 'ffense, but you don't, neither, but you gots a good bat, so you gots to be good. But that fella don't got no friendly friend with him there, you see him?"
indentRei peered through the spyglass and spotted Team Magma colors on the figure securing the raft to a heavy piece of flotsam. The figure had a tough-looking Poochyena by his side. More figures disappeared into the wreckage.
indent"We have to get there soon. I have a feeling they aren't here for sight-seeing."
indentThe Captain stopped the boat nearby the ship and tossed a strong rope down its side. He tied the rope securely to the steamboat and nodded to Rei.
indent"Right, my old dear here will be waitin' for you while y' get the cheese. I'll be makin' sure this boat here don't get herself stole."
indentRei shook the man's hand in agreement and climbed down the boat, keeping one hand to his side. He swam, then waded ashore, meeting the Magna grunt at his post by the raft. The grunt snorted.
indent"You'd best be leaving, friend. Team Magma's doing a search of the place. It's not safe for citizens."
indentIn response, Rei threw a Pokéball at the grunt's feet. A Scyther lunged out, pinning the unfortunate man to the ground with his frighteningly sharp scythes. The grunt yelped, and his Poochyena charged at the menacing Scyther.
indent"Yami, double team. Avoid that pup." The Scyther seemed to make clones of itself: one leaped off the grunt, while two others jumped out of the way and faced the Pooochyena.
indentThe Poochyena stopped charging and growled at the images. The grunt panicked.
indent"P-Poochyena, bite the nearest one!" It lunged after the image, but bit thin air, leaving itself open to attacks.
indent"Yami, X-Scissor." The Scyther wasted no time taking advantage of the opportunity. In one blur of motion, it sliced the poor pup cleanly on its belly. The move was devastating. Bleeding out, Poochyena did not rise to challenge the Scyther again. The Grunt ran off to tell his partners of the fearsome cloaked man, yelling the whole way. Rei frowned; last thing he needed was more trouble.
indent“Good job, Yami. Return.” Rei chased after the retreating Grunt, avoiding the holes and rotted parts of the ship. He skidded to a halt as two more Team Magma grunts appeared, each with a Pokémon sent out.
indent“Hello, trainer,” said the female Grunt. “We heard you’re messing around with our little mission here. You’re going to regret disturbing us.”
indentHer partner snarled. “We don’t have time for this. Let’s just find that stupid scanner and go.”
indentRei’s ears perked. “So, you’re looking for something, eh? Well, that’s unfortunate. I don’t think you’ll have time to look when my Scyther’s busy cutting you all down.” His eyes narrowed. “And I don’t mean your Pokémon.”
indentThe female Grunt laughed. “If it’s a fight you want, you’ve got it.” She and her partner sent out their team, a Numel and a Zubat. Rei grinned; this battle was going to be simple. He tossed out his Horsea and Charmander, and the battle started.
indent“Zubat, use Supersonic!” The sound reached Rei’s Charmander, but not before the Zubat took an Ember to the face.
indent“Leviathan, Bubblebeam!” The Horsea shot a stream of bubbles that raced towards the slow-moving Numel, each bursting bubble cooling the temperature of its body. It cried in pain, and tackled the Horsea, sending it back a few feet.
indent“Scipio, Slash that Zubat out of the sky!” A staggering Charmander lunged at the Zubat, but missed and struck at Numel instead. The Numel, now enraged at the double-teaming, changed targets and rammed into the dazed Charmander. At the rear, Horsea began focusing her aim at the Zubat, with pressure building up in her mouth. As the enemy Zubat swooped in to suck the life out of the Horsea, the pressure was released, and a salty shotgun-blast of water erupted from her mouth. The Brine did extra damage against the already damaged Zubat, and the bat fell to the ground, defeated.
indentThe Magma Grunt shouted her command to the Numel. “Magnitude, quick!” The enemy Numel slammed the ground in front of it, and a strong quake shook the ship. Falling debris injured both Horsea and Charmander, and Rei realized that the ship was no longer structurally sound.
indent“Finish this, Leviathan. Water Gun.” A jet of water shot from her mouth to the Numel, right in the Numel’s hump. Completely cooled, the Numel collapsed. Rei recalled his Pokémon and faced the Grunts.
indent“You have five seconds before I send out Yami to cut your miserable throats. Get out. Now.” Believing his words to be true, the team scurried out of the ship and hopped on their raft, eager to escape from the hooded man. Captain Krae watched the team quickly disappear.
indent“Heh, that’s a good job our friend did there, eh Muk?” His Pokémon squelched its agreement.
indentIn the ship, Rei grumbled. How was he to find the scanner now? The ship was in a sorry condition; the quake that the Numel caused completely changed the landscape within the ship.
indent“Wait a sec... They couldn’t find the scanner before, but they didn’t have the access to the ship that we have now. Maybe we should thank them for their recklessness, Countess.” His hope renewed, he scoured the ship. About ten minutes later, he found what he was looking for: the scanner. It was soaked and grimy, but it was the scanner he was looking for. Rei happily wrapped the scanner up in plastic and placed it inside his messenger bag. Sudden movement at the corner of his eye caught his attention, and he swiveled about to face the blur of red.
indentA Magikarp, forced out of the water by the quake, was Splashing in vain to reach the sea. Rei laughed at himself for being so jumpy.
indent“Countess, let’s help this guy out. Leech Life.” The Zubat perched on the splashing Magikarp and happily began sucking away at its health. The Magikarp, unable to do much other than splash about, slowly stopped struggling against the blood-sucker. When it was on the verge of passing out, Rei tossed a Pokéball at the Magikarp, and easily caught it. The Countess, now full, flew lazily back onto Rei’s shoulder and settled there, content. Rei picked up the Pokéball and headed back to the open sea.
indentOn his way, he noticed a storeroom. Inside were shelves full of moldy boxes labeled “Cheese.” He stared at them, slowly making the connection.
indent“Oh no... He couldn’t mean this cheese... But that’s disgusting...” He shrugged, picked up a box, and headed out to the Rhapsody. He handed the box to Krae.
indent“Here you are, one box of cheese.” The captain snatched the box, grabbed a dark-green chunk of once-cheese, took a bite, emptied the rest of its contents onto Muk, and tossed the empty box into his boat. The stench was terrible. Rei excused himself and made a quick dash to the opposite end of the boat, away from the reeking odor coming from both Pokémon and captain.
indent“That...” Rei gasped, “has got to be the worst smell I’ve ever come into contact with.” He spent the rest of his time on the Rhapsody unsuccessfully keeping down seasickness.

Kasumi of Vientown Note: I read the new storyline with Aqua being evil again and everyone's memories being altered to suit the new aqua, but I had already finished the first two RPs here and was working on the next two when I read that, so I am assuming that these quests transpired before reality was distorted and things changed. MISSION- Fair thee Well, Slowpoke! Level 1 Azalea Town is getting ready for a festival in honor of Slowpoke. Reward: P$600 MISSION- Fossil Fraud Level 1 It seems there's someone in the Johto region selling fake pokemon fossils. From his description, it sounds like he's a Legendary Brilliance Gang peon. Track him down and put a stop to his scam. (You will face one LBG peon with 2 fossil pokemon) Pokemon: None Rewards: 800 Item: One fossil of your choice ---------------------------------- Still a failure. I need to see an actual battle with the Slowpokes. I'll let the random attacks scare away Pokémon in the cave, but the Slowpokes still need actual battles.

--------------------
Ren's Team: Poochyena (Yena) Bulbasaur (Saur) Axew Eevee Treecko Abra
Kasumi's Team: Mudkip (Swampy) Meowth Onix Eevee Torchic Abra
--------------------
Ren and Kasumi, accompanied by his Axew and her Meowth, had managed to break into the scuba shop on the east side of Rustboro City, and Ren used his TADS to disable the security system and keep them from getting any interuptions from the law.
They took precautions, as usual, and wore false fingerprints and stolen Team Magma uniforms, as well as an oil over their face and ears that prevented video camera's from getting clear pictures of their faces, no matter how much they tried to tinker with the video, a clever innovation.
As planned, they got in without incident, and had been selecting different tools and supplies they'd need for their upcoming heist, though, since leaving Littleroot town, they felt a strange sense of Deja Vu and they couldn't put their fingers on what it meant.
"This should be the last of it." Ren explaned, carrying over two oxygen tanks.
Kasumi nodded to Ren "Okay, lets get out of here then."
Their abra's appeared nearby, seeming exhausted "Thanks guys. This is the last of it, lets teleport back to our safe house, and then you can get a good rest. Kasumi and Ren carried all that they had and knelt near the Abra's. Kasumi and Ren each petted their own Abra on the head and then they were teleported to their bunker outside of Rustboro.
Kasumi's Torchic, and Ren's Treecko, were asleep on a rug near the furnace. Ren and Kasumi told their Abra's that they could join them, and the two pokemon obeyed, rushing over to sleep with the other two Pokemon that had been left in the bunker.
The bunker only had one bed, so Ren went to sleep on the couch, and Kasumi took the bed, but each location had line of sight to see Treecko and Torchic and the Abra's, and both Ren and Kasumi watched Treecko and Torchic, trying to understand what they were feeling, until they finally fell asleep.
They dreamt
--------------------
Ren and Kasumi had no difficulty slipping into Littleroot Town, though their missions tonight were not as appealing as they would have liked, but missions were missions. Professor Birch had in his possession three rare pokemon, and remnants of Team Magma had their eyes set upon stealing them, so Ren and Kasumi were supposed to steal them first.
From a window of the laboratory, Ren and Kasumi watched as Professor Birch gave a mudkip to a young trainer, meaning there was one less pokemon for them or Team Magma to steal, so they watched, and waited for an hour until everyone left, when the laboratory was deserted.
Ren used his technological know-how to hack the electric lock and to get into the laboratory, then he disabled the alarm and surveillance system with his TADS, and everything seemed to be going according to plan. They came to the room where the two remaining pokeballs were, and each of them picked up a pokeball.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!
The back wall of the laboratory blew up, or at least a large chunk of it did, and a pair of Magma grunts came in, and saw Ren and Kasumi, and their disguises. Not wanting Team Aqua blamed, they had dressed up as members of Team Tsunami.
"Tsunami scum!" A Magma grunt said, his Houndoom beside him.
The other Magma grunt called out his Magmar.
"Seel, I choose you" Ren said, sending it out.
"Prinplup, I choose you" Kasumi sent out Eon, but she called it Prinplup fo keep their identities a secret.
"Flamethrower!" the magma grunts ordered.
"Hydro pump!" Kasumi ordered.
"Dodge and use Aqua Tail!" Ren ordered, and Prinplup's hydro pump struck Magmar, snuffing out it's flamethrower.
Seel tried, and failed, to dodge houndoom's flamthrower, but toughed it out and connected with an aqua tail. Magmar and Houndoom were both thrown back into their trainers, and Ren and Kasumi recalled their pokemon, and rushed past the pair and out the hole in the wall that the Magma's created, disappearing into the woods just before a couple Officer Jenny's were coming around to the back of the lab. Apparently they had been nearby and heard the explosion.
They hadn't seen Ren or Kasumi, but they did spot the two Magma grunts coming out and they moved in to apprehend them. Once they got back to where they stashed their possessions, they changed out of the Team Tsunami uniforms, and Ren called Treeko out of it's pokeball and Kasumi called out Torchic out of it's pokeball
"Chic?" Torchic looked around the dark woods confused.
Ren smiled at the pokemon and spoke with them, telepathically and vocally “We are going to release you from these pokeballs and challenge you both to a battle. You don't have to be afraid, just do your best.”
“tree?” Treeko asked, and Ren and Kasumi triggered the release mechanism's, and the two pokeballs emitted a yellow light, severing the bond between the pokemon and the pokeballs.
“Marshtomp, I choose you” Kasumi grasped the pokeball and sent it out., revealing her first pokemon.
“Fraxure, come forth.” Ren activated the pokeball, releasing his dragon pokemon.
Ren and Kasumi discarded the old pokeballs that had contained treeko and torchic, and looked at the small pokemon again.
“Don't be frightened. We're testing you. Do your best and then you'll be our friends. You can join us after the battle.” Ren told them, speaking into their minds as well.
In answer, torchic breathed an ember attack at Marshtomp, and treeko used razor leaf on fraxure.
“Incinerate on treeko” Ren ordered.
Kasumi pointed at the torchic “Water Gun”
The first of treeko's razor leaves struck fraxure, then the rest were wiped out by fraxure's fiery attack, which hit treeko hard. Torchic's ember struck marshtomp, and Swampy the marshtomp tried to counter with water gun, but the torchic leaped behind a tree to dodge.
Treeko leaped sideways, not wanting to get hit again, then started making a wide circle around fraxure while using razor leaf.
“Dragon Pulse” Ren ordered.
“Mud bomb” Kasumi ordered.
Marshtomp pursued torchic and was struck by a tackle as it came around the tree after torchic, and Fraxure got ahead of Treeko, and used dragon pulse, letting the grass pokemons momentum carry it into the attack with devastating results.
Marshtomp recovered from the tackle and used mud bomb, and Ren and Kasumi threw there own pokeballs, and after several seconds the captures succeeded and they went to pick up their new Pokemon.
“We shouldn't linger here.” Kasumi answered, and she and Ren recalled Fraxure and Marshtomp.
“Oldale town awaits” Ren agreed, and they carried on a ways before Ren teleported them most of the way to Oldale town.
In Oldale Town, they entered the Pokemon Center and headed to the PC to transfer some pokemon. Kasumi sent Torchic, Swampy the Marshtomp, and Eon the Prinplup and received Pory the Porygon2, Snowy the Snover, and her Plusle.
Ren took his turn and sent Treeko, fraxure, and seel, and received Chu the pikachu, Volcarona, and Minun. Those tasks being finished, they left the pokemon center and headed west to petalburg city. About halfway there they came to the stash the prepared in advance, and deposited the Team Tsunami uniforms and grabbed some Team Magma uniforms.
They stripped the false fingerprints from their fingertips, then put on new false fingerprints. They left fingerprints all over the place in the laboratory, just not their own fingerprints. The fingerprints would point towards known members of Team Tsunami, and the new false fingerprints would point towards known members of Team Magma.
--------------------
Ren and Kasumi awoke simultaneously, and looked at each other
"I had an odd dream" Kasumi commented.
"Me too." Ren agreed
They both then looked at Torchic and Treecko, and they noticed each other looking at them. That made them compare notes about their dreams, and they found they had the same one.
"Team Tsunami?" Kasumi asked "I've never heard of them before, but it seemed so real."
"Indeed, but I suppose our first priority should be the completion of our mission. Ren answered.
Kasumi nodded, and Ren started putting together their gear for the infiltration while Kasumi got out food for all of their pokemon, including her Onix, though that Pokemon Food she stowed away in a bag to feed it outside after all the other Pokemon had ate.
After the eleven smaller Pokemon were fed, they changed their clothes, stowing away their Team Magma disguises as well as their TADS' in waterproof bags in favor of wetsuits, which they wore underneath some plain stret clothes.
They each had small oxygen tanks, but with a bit of effort, those were also stowed into their waterproof bags before gathering up their Pokemon into their Pokeballs and departing from the bunker. Outside, Kasumi called out her Onix, and fed it Pokemon food, having it eat quickly then returned it to it's Pokeball before heading south into the Northern end of Rustboro City.
They headed to an isolated section of the city with sewer access, which they entered, and traveled a distance before finding what they were looking for, a crack in the sewer wall that led into an underground river.
It wasn't the best entry point, but it was discrete, and the river was warm, fed by an underground hot spring. They passed through the cracked wall and headed down the path then up it, then down again, the natural path not very level, and they soon came to the edge of a pool of water which flowed southward.
Feeling weak, suddenly, Ren and Kasumi each leaned againstthe cave wall, and closed their eyes.
--------------------
They passed through the cracked wall and headed down the path then up it, then down again, the natural path not very level, the same path they had walked a few moments before while they were awake, and they soon came to the edge of the same pool of water. Without speaking, they stripped down to their swimsuits, and tucked their clothes away in their waterproof backpacks very similar to the ones Ren and Kasumi had before they slept, but instead of masks and an oxygen tank, they had more compact aqua lungs.
The duo dove into the water and swam down into the underground river, and they let the current carry them southward, watching upward for the first signs of light above them, which took a couple minutes, but then they quickly swam up into calmer waters and surfaced in another underground pool.
They walked out of the pool and found that the cavern had invaders, a wild Voltorb and Zigzagoon.
They took out their aqua lungs and reached and unzipped their backpacks in order to put the aqua lungs away and grab their pokeballs. Kasumi grabbed hers and sent out Pory, her Porygon2, and Ren sent out Chu, his Pikachu.
“Pory, lock-on to Voltorb.” Kasumi ordered.
“Chu, use thunder wave on zigzagoon” Ren ordered.
Pory's eyes began glowing, and Zigzagoon and Voltorb just had time to notice them before zigzagoon was struck by thunder wave.
“Zapcannon!” Kasumi ordered as Voltorb tried to flee, but it couldn't dodge Pory's attack, and was thrown to the ground. Ren and Kasumi each threw a pokeball at the pokemon, and Zigzagoon and Voltorb were drawn into the pokeballs and were soon captured.
Pory and Chu were recalled into their pokeballs, and Ren and Kasumi went to pick up the new ones. Ren called out his zigzagoon and knelt by it “I know a little healing magic. I'm not very good yet, but I should be able to loosen up your muscles so you can move freely.”
“Za....goon” the pokemon answered as Ren touched it and worked the little bit of magic he could do, and Zigzagoon soon stood up “Zagoon!” it said excitedly and rushed off away from them.
Ren tried to recall zigzagoon, but it disappeared into small crack in the wall. Kasumi chuckled “Oh, wow. You didn't have that pokemon very long.”
Ren sighed “Lets get changed. We need to think about this mission.”
Kasumi nodded and they took off the backpacks and changed into their team magma uniform disguises, and they were about to head up a dark path when Zigzagoon came back from the small crack it had disappeared into before, carrying a super potion “Zagoon, zigzagoon” the pokemon called.
“Oh, you were worried about your friend?” Ren smiled and looked at Kasumi “Zigzagoon brought medicine for Voltorb.”
“Ah, that's so sweet.” Kasumi said, calling out Voltorb. Zigzagoon brought over the potion and got the electric type to drink it. The recovery was really swift after that.
Zigzagoon did not resist being called back into it's pokeball once Voltorb was better.
Ren headed up the thin path, followed by Kasumi, and came to a solid wall with a crack in it just large enough for a small pokemon to use, he'd spotted that hole when he came here before on another mission, and he knew himself to be about twenty feet from the vault, and right underneath the video camera.
It was the blind spot he needed. Mentally he started pulling the bricks apart, enlarging the hole just enough so that they could crawl through. Ren told Kasumi to wait for his que to come out. He crawled out and stood up underneath the camera, and he waited until it was pointing at the vault doors, and he ran the other direction and dove into a computer room.
Ren pulled out his TADS and connected it to the PC there, and activated the program he'd written, and as anticipated it worked flawlessly. The motion sensors were reprogrammed and would not detect Ren and his sister because their TADS had been reprogrammed to emitt a special signal that would make them invisible to the computers here, and the program would self delete in the morning and leave no trace that it was ever there. It was a perfect plan, Ren thought.
Getting up four floors might be a little challenge, but they had an advantage. The second part of the program he wrote. He picked up a mini laptop off the desk and attached his TADS to it for web connection, then signaled Kasumi to come out by sending her a TADS message, and he slipped his TADS into his pocket.
He turned on the mini-laptop and it loaded up and showed the motion sensors throughout the whole building, so that he could see where all ten of the security guards in the building were located, and none were in the basement at the moment
Kasumi dove into the room with him, and they waited for the video camera to be pointing the other direction, then they ran as fast as they could, timing it perfectly to not get caught by any of the basement camera's. It was lucky that he memorized the timing last time he was here.
Slowly they worked there way up from the basement to ground level, which was where things got tougher, because they had to dodge all the security guards, and there were a lot of them, but they managed, at one point hiding on the ceiling and letting two guards pass underneath them, and at another out entering an elevator shaft that was off since it was after hours and going up the shaft with Porygon2 and Volcarona.
Most of the guards were on the first and the second floor, with two on the roof and only one on the thind floor, so once they got to that floor, dodging the lone guard was fairly easy. Ren mentally pictured the layout of the third floor in his head, reminding himself where the items they was supposed to acquire were located, and he led the way.
Using the stolen mini-computer, Ren made the trip easily, unafraid of the video camera's, which had to do with the program he'd worked into the computers here. He had altered the third floor camera's to play a loop, so they were invisible in that regard.
The mini-computer had been loaded with the software to hack the keypad from his TADS, so getting into the storage room proved to be easy. Finding the box they needed was more difficult. There was a lot of boxes there, but eventually they found what they were looking for, a large box containing 100 NDS's.
Rustboro was a large city, and Ren lacked the skill to teleport completely out of the city with a box this size and himself and his sister, so he picked up box and Kasumi grabbed his arm, and they teleported into the underground cavern where they'd met zigzagoon and voltorb.
There, Ren shut down the mini-laptop and headed back up the path to restore the hole in the wall to the state it had been in before they arrived as best he could, to slow Devon Corp down from identifying this breach in their security. When he got back down to Kasumi, she had finished waterproofing the box of NDS's in several layers of thick plastic bags.
Once more they stripped down to their bathing suits and tied the box up to both of them, and they used their aqua lungs and swam under the water, reached the speed current, and let it carry them far to the southeast. If not for their aqua lungs they would have surely drowned, because it took five minutes before the chamber became larger and they came out of the underground into a forested area.
They got on dry land, and teleported. With the NDS's his range was down, so it took a lot of teleportation jumps before they reached another the safe house .
--------------------
Ren and Kasumi awoke from the dream and looked at each other "De ja vu" Ren answered, and Kasumi nodded in agreement.
"Wait. What's this?" she knelt and picked up a white flue and a pokeball at her feet.
Ren knelt as well, picking up another white flute and another pokeball at his feet. "We'll talk about the flute's and Pokeball's later." Ren said, and the two started stripping down to their wet suits and sealed up their clothes in the water-proofed bags with their magma uniforms, and they held the small oxygen bottles as they went into the water.
As in the dream, they let the current carry them south until they saw light, and then they surfaced into another cavern, this one beneath Devon Corp. It looked just like in their dream, though this time they were alone, with no Pokemon around to catch.
They switched out of the wetsuits, leaving them on the floor with the oxygen tanks and their backpacks, and put on their team Magma disguises, just in case.
They headed upwards, up a path, and found the same Pokemon-hole in the wall that was in their dream, and with all the information about the building they had gained from that dream, if it proved to be accurate, would make their job today much easier.
Having psychic powers in the dream was pretty convenient. Without them, Ren and Kasumi took a good half hour removing bricks one at a time while their Abra's played with each other. The siblings had brought out the psychic pokemon in order to get them used to this location, to teleport them here, with their loot, once they had it, since Ren didn't think he had the teleporting ability that he had in his dream.
They recalled the Abra's when the opening was wide enough for Ren to crawl through, and like in the dream, Ren told Kasumi to wait for his que. Ren crolled through, and was under the camera, just like in the dream, and he waited until it was pointing away from the computer room, and he rushed into that room, which looked exactly like in the dream.
Aspects of the Dream Ren and the Real Rens plans were the same. He too had created the self-deleting program which would, with the aide of their TADS', render them invisible to the motion sensors, and he also used a Devon Corp mini-computer to locate where all the security guards were., again with a self-deleting program that would leave no trace of it's existence once they were done. He had also put the third floor camera's on a loop, once they got that high.
Ren used the TADS to call out Kasumi, and once she joined him, they used what they remembered about the timing of the other camera's in the basement to get to the stairs unseen, and he used the minicomputer to dodge guards.
They made it to the elevator, but they had no flying Pokemon, so they made their way up the shaft the hard way, by the strength of their hands, pulling them up a bit at a time, until they were able to enter the third floors ventilation system. They used stealth to crawl through the vents and reach their destination, and then they waited until no one else was on the floor and stepped out of the vent and found a box that was already wrapped in plastic to be shipped. In the dream they had looked for a particular box for some reason, but they weren't so picky this time, just taking the most convenient one.
They quietly called out their Abra's and asked them to teleport them all, and the box, into the underground cave where they had been before, and the Abra's did so, which proved to be very convenient. Sunrise wasn't too far away, though, so they had no time to fix the wall they had gone through.
Ren and Kasumi recalled the Abra's, and carried the box further into the cave, to the water edge, where they stripped off their magma uniforms and stowed them in their bags, and put back on their wetsuits.
They got some plastic wrap from their back and wrapped a few more layers around their stolen box, then they taped their oxygen tanks to the box so that they could keep the box between them and protect it underwater. They put on their backpacks, with everything else cleaned up, including the magma uniforms, and they waded into the water, swimming down with the box.
Just like in the dream, they traveled southeast underground and emerged above ground in the forest, then they began journeying back to the base to deliver their stolen loot, a box with 100 NDS in it. Only once they were going to retire to their rooms did they take out their flutes and new Pokeballs. When they released the pokemon from inside, Ren found a Zigzagoon, and Kasumi found a Voltorb, just like in the dream,
"What's going on here?" Kasumi wondered.
Out of Character Notes - Before I found out we were losing items, I developed a means by which I would recover my lost coins using my characters' white flutes. My characters had a little magic, so the flutes would work in combination with a pair of magical coins that held their Pokemon in status until they managed to free them, as I demonstrated in this rp. I went over this idea with Brian, and he said I'd eventually be able to recover my flute's, but as I was doing this rp the idea came to me that I can recover the flutes any time, and use them for that rp-specific purpose, but not to catch additional Pokemon. I'll still have to purchase them officially later, and then they'll be usable for that affect.

How to Become a Chef MISSION - La Glace Apprenticeship Mission Level 1
In order to become a chef, you must first cook at least one edible meal. These words of wisdom underscore the basic idea of food preparation. So, your task is to cook a three-course meal (appetizer, entrée, and dessert) for the local restaurant, La Glace.
They have all the ingredients and equipment you need, but you (and your pokemon) will have to do all the cutting, measuring, and other work to get the meal to the table. As long as the customer leaves with a smile and not Salmonella, you've done your job.
Rewards: Chef Lvl 1: Commis + 1000 PD from La Glace
Thinking it might help them earn a little extra money, Ren and Kasumi thought to try their hand at cooking. They had practiced lots, but never in a professional setting, and not here they were, at La Glace, assigned to prove themselves by making a three course meal which the customers, a party of four, had requested. The customers had requested Eggplant Sandwiches with Mozzarella Cheese for their appetizers, salad tacos for their entrée, and peach and raspberry cobbler for dessert.
They first got out what they'd need for the Eggplant sandwiches with mozzarella cheese, which included:
4 6-inch length of french bread olive oil garlic powder salt 4 4 ounce thinly-sliced Mozzarella cheese Roasted red Pepper slices (They had red peppers) 1 medium eggplant flour Salt and pepper
Ren sliced and started roasting the red pepper slices while Kasumi split the bread, then sprinkled it with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. She cut the eggplant into 1/2 inch thick slices, and passed those to Ren.
Ren drenched the eggplant pieces in flour and put them into a frier in hot oil to brown them. Ren and Kasumi started getting the items they needed for the next two courses, though Ren was still watchful of the food he had cooking, and turned them off when they were browned.
Ren transferred the eggplant to paper towels, and carefully dried each piece with the towels and he passed those to Kasumi while he started repeating the process with the red pepper slices, though those weren't as oily.
Kasumi put overlapping pieces of fried eggplant on her bread, topped them with mozzarella cheese, and then the pepper slices were ready, so she put those on too. They put the four sandwiches into the broiler and Ren moved to started on the desert while Kasumi gave it a minute for the bread to brown and the cheese to melt, then she put the four sandwiches on four plates on one Tray, and she carried them over to their drinks, and grabbed four cups of ice water that another employee had kindly prepared for then, so it was one less thing they had to do.
She gave the customers their appetizers and ice water, and was polite and said that as per their request, their entrée would be served in 20 minutes, then she excused herself and went back into the kitchen to where Ren was already started.
For the Topping:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting 1/4 cup sugar, plus more for sprinkling 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg 1 stick cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch pieces 1/8 cup heavy cream, plus more for brushing
For the Filling:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter 5 large peaches, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch-thick wedges 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1/2 cup honey 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg 1 cup raspberries
Ren had already finished the topping. He had whisked the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg in a large bowl, worked in the butter, added the cream and stirred with a fork until it was combined. He was presently turning it out onto a floured surface, upon which he would need it.
Kasumi washed her hands again, and then joined him and she started working on the filling. She melted butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then she added peaces, flour, honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg, and she watched it cooking, stirring it as needed.
Meanwhile, Ren finished kneading the topping 5 times, and started cutting up the topping. As he finished cutting, Kasumi left Ren to finish putting the ingredients together and to put the pie in the oven for 30 minute, so she turned her attention to the entrée. Salad tacos called for:
10-oz. Mediterranean-style salad greens 1 yellow summer squash, peeled, seeded, and chopped 1/3 cup French or Russian salad dressing 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled 8 taco shells
This was a simple matter of combining all the ingredients into a large bowl, and then putting them into the tacos shells and making them look nice.
She then checked their orders, and found what drinks they wanted with their entrées, and she got those too, and carried the entrée out to the customers who had finished their appetizers already. She handed out the new plates and drinks, and took back the old plates and glasses.
After a brief chat with one of the men, Kasumi returned to the kitchen and washed her hands again, then, like Ren, she started helping other cooking staff with the meals they were cooking while the peach and raspberry cobbler finished cooking.
When the cobbler was done, Kasumi divided it amongst four plates and decorated it with a little whipped cream, and she took the dessert out to their customers, who seemed quite satisfied with their food, and thanked her as she took back their empty plates and replaced them with their desert.
Kasumi was kind and smiled at the customers who complimented her on the meal. It was always nice to feel appreciated.
Their first day on the new job had barely just started, but so far it was quite enjoyable.
ooc - I actually did this one before the reset, but it was one of my lost rp's that I found last weak. Anyway, classes I supposed to be closed, I know, because Ginji, I think, is trying to make them more useful in character or something, but after re-reading this and making a few minor edits, I figured this could technically still be used, even after the reset, and it's a good source of money. Can't complain about that.

Special Missions for Level 1 * MISSION - The Kids Are Alright
Every restaurant has a kid's menu. Every menu has a children's section. Every video store has a rated G aisle. And every store that's worth anything has a daycare (I'm looking at you Wal-Mart). The point is, La Glace 's menu seems to feature Caviar and Fish Heads as the children dishes! Find the cook responsible and knock some sense into him. Best him in a battle and he should put something more tasteful on the menu.
Rewards: 500 PD + 1 AP
Ren and Kasumi had just finished their first full day at La Grace, and mostly the day went great, but they did make one strange, and disgusting, discovery.
"Why the heck is Caviar on the kids menu? And fish heads?" Kasumi found that to be rather disturbing.
"I asked about that at lunch. Apparently Chef Anton is responsible for the kids menu" Ren explained.
"Him? Okay then, we have to talk some sense into that guy" Kasumi told Ren.
Ren merely shrugged "He does get off in a few minutes" he agreed. Business had gotten slow, so Ren and Kasumi, who were the new employees, were sent home 15 minutes early.
Kasumi walked over to a nearby bench and sat down, making it clear that he wasn't going to convince her to leave. Not that he could exactly blame her.
Kasumi started opening her backpack and pulled out her belt with her Pokeball's on it, and she put it on. Ren sat with her. He didn't need to get out his own belt, because he had been wearing it all day.
After a few minutes, Chef Anton was coming out of La Glace, and Kasumi and Ren got up and walked over to the obese chef.
"New brats. What the hell do you want!?" Chef Anton snapped at them.
"We have to have some words with you about your very poor tastes in regard to the children's menu" Kasumi answered.
"You...Dare...To...Insult...MEEEEEEEEEEEEE?" Chef Anton's eyes were filled with a burning hate, and he reached a pudgy hand into one on his pockets "I'll beat you both and ALL of your weakling Pokemon!" he challenged and called out his two Pokemon, two Slakings.
"Meditite, I choose you" Kasumi activated a Pokeball and sent out her Pokemon.
"Treecko, you're up!" Ren sent out his Pokemon too.
Chef Anton laughed loudly "Pa-the-tic! They are so tiny!"
"Treeeeeeeeeee-cko!" Rens Treecko seemed pissed off by Chef Anton's words.
"If you win, then I'll change the menu!" Chef Anton challenged, confident that he couldn't lose.
"Meditite, Hi Jump Kick!" Kasumi ordered
"Treecko, use Giga Drain!" Ren ordered
"Hyper Beam! Both of ya!" Chef Anton ordered, he wasn't pulling any punches.
Meditite's Hi-Jump Kick struck One Slaking, and Treecko's Giga Drain stuck the other, then the smaller Pokemon tried to dodge the Hyper beams, but failed and were hit very hard, but they were stubbornly trying to stay awake.
"Hi jump Kick!" Kasumi ordered again.
"Leaf Storm!" Ren ordered
Both attacks struck the lazy Slakings, and they appeared to be powerful attacks, but the Slaking appeared to barely be bothered, thanks to how large they were compared to their opponents.
Kasumi and Ren recalled their Pokemon, knowing that they could not take another hit like that one, and Kasumi sent out her Torchic, and Ren sent out his Bulbasaur.
"Hyper Beam!" Chef Anton ordered.
Torchic and Bulbasaur tried to dodge, but again they failed, and were hit heard, but they remained standing.
"Don't you use any other moves?!" Kasumi demanded.
"What's the point of that?" the Chef asked "Besides, they're wearing Choice Specs." he referred to the odd glasses the Slakings were wearing.
"Frenzy Plant!" Ren ordered.
"Flamethrower!" Kasumi ordered her Torchic.
Both attacks struck a Slaking, and Bulbasaur's Frenzy Plant actually lifted the Slaking it struck into the air and threw it. Chef Anton had to dive out of the way, not so gracefully, to avoid getting squished.
Chef Anton started struggling to his feet "Hyper beam!" he ordered
The hyper beams struck Torchic and Bulbasaur, knocking them both out, but the two Slakings finally looked like they'd taken some serious damage. Kasumi recalled her Torchic and sent out her mudkip, and Ren recalled his Bulbasaur and sent out his Sneasel.
"We wont lose!" Kasumi declared "Blizzard attack!"
"Blizzard!" Ren ordered again, and both Mudkip and Sneasel stirred up a violent storm, combining their power into one more powerful hit. When the ice and snow cleared, the Slakings were knocked out.
"Come back!" Chef Anton recalled his two Slakings, and then sent out two more Slakings, both of which were wearing Choice Specs too.
"Blizzard!" Ren ordered.
"Blizzard!" Kasumi ordered.
"Hyper Beam!" the chef ordered
The two blizzards merged together again, hammering both Slakings, but the two Hyper Beams struck Mudkip and Sneasel, and both fainted. Ren and Kasumi recalled their Pokemon.
"Piplup! You're up!" Kasumi sent out her penguin Pokemon.
"Seel! You too!" Ren sent out that Pokemon.
"Blizzard!" Kasumi ordered.
"Blizzard!" Ren agreed.
Just like Mudkip and Sneasel, Piplup and Seel both combined blizzard attacks which made the combined attack more powerful.
"Hypeeeeeeeeeeeer Beeeeeeeeeeeeeam!" Chef Anton ordered.
"Blizzard!" Called out Kasumi
Repeating the same attack over and over again worked for the Chef, so.... "Blizzard!" Ren called out too.
The hyper beams struck Piplup and Seel, but not before they had combined and unleashed their blizzard attacks, which struck and knocked out both Slakings too. That made the chef look pissed.
Kasumi recalled her Piplup, and sent out her Persian, and Ren recalled his Seel and sent out his Fraxure. Chef Anton recalled his Slaking, and sent out a Munchlax and a Snorlax.
Kasumi pointed at Munchlax "Use Payday!" she ordered.
"You're miiiiiiiiiiine!" Persian hissed.
"Fraxure! Use Superpower!" Ren pointed at Snorlax
"Munchlax, use Psychic! Snorlax, Icy Punch!" Chef Anton was pissed off, and spitting as he shouted those commands.
Persian chucked a bunch of coins at Munchlax, and dd serious harm, but the psychic attack that Munchlax used made Persian whimper. It was a particularly critical hit.
Fraxure's Superpower connected, and was super-effective on Snorlax, but Snorlax connected with his icy punch, and that made Fraxure faint. Kasumi recalled her Persian, and Ren recalled his Fraxure.
"Haaaaaaaaa! I win!" Chef Anton declared.
"Kadabra! You're up!" Ren called out
"You, too, Kadabra!" said Kasumi
Once both Kadabra emerged, the Chef looked pissed "You can't have seven Pokemon!" he said.
"Psychic Attack!" Kasumi ordered
"You too! Psychic attack" Ren ordered
"You miscounted! These are our sixth Pokemon!" Kasumi laughed.
The chef was stuttering like a fool as the two Kadabra's struck, knocking out the Munchlax and Snorlax.
"We'll come up with a new kids menu, and you will not object. You challenged both of us, and lost." Ren declared, then he turned to leave, and Kasumi followed him. They'd work on that another day, once they had healed up their Pokemon.
Notes - I had already started this one, and decided to rp out the battle and submit it. I will holf off on any other class missions until I am given an okay to do them, but I just hated leaving one half done, lol
