Catira Norr WickedPeaches dreamer45209 I've raised my kids but they don't want to leave home. spoiled is what they are......guess i'ts all my fault. one's in college the other works one day a week, don't feel like i can kick the college kid out, but the other one needs a swift kick in the a** maybe you could leave instead wink just bring your laundry back home to them once a week and ask them to come around and clean your new place too 3nodding 3nodding I like this. Then you could pop round un-announced and raid the fridge, finish the Orange juice, block the toilet and leave a half eaten McDonalds on the kitchen counter, just in case they'd missed your smiling face!! Oh ~ Bratty so wants to do this... twisted Now I really can't wait for them to grow up and move out. pirate

rofl gosh aren't we all evil?
maybe it could be a new reality tv show..turning the tables..where the teens have to go out and work for a living, then come home and deal with us stomping about the place, whining, grousing, tossing our heads and rolling our eyes and demanding money and to be waited on hand and foot twisted

That would be so funny. Don't forget leaving our things all over the place for them to pick up.

My daughter, who is never home, came home right after school today and spent the full afternoon cleaning her bedroom, including the animal cages... I still haven't figured out the occasion.

Ah, a nice, slow thread. I'm liking this place.
Some of the threads I'm in with kids moves 100 pages in two hours, with art thrown in.
*kicks off shoes, relaxes, puts old tired feet up*
Lil-Jo, when my kids actually offer to clean anything, it usually means they really want something from me. They negotiate time cleaning with me buying them stuff, like mangas and anime. I just wait for the other shoe to drop, then it's off to Borders. They used to trick me into paying in advance, but they cannot get anything from me until they put in their time. When they try and whine about it, I simply tell them that my boss doesn't pay me for two weeks after I do the work, not before.

I'm looking forward to having kids soon. The one thing about raising kids I'm not looking forward to is dealing with teenagers. I didn't even like myself when I was a teenager.

No teenagers are the same, you may be the lucky one to get an easy one... We had one of each, but the easy one is very lazy so that can be a challenge too.

I heard that with my bad ear... yes, my easy one procrastinates... "I'm gonna do it...* and after I've done it myself, "I was gonna do..."
I really hate that word, "GONNA".

or the kid with no job, not in school, and doesn't have his own home or apartment that constantly states he is too busy to do anything you ask.

While we were in TX last week we went to a mall with some friends of ours. While walking through the mall, my friend's husband said "look, it's Gaia"... we turned around, (all of us are Gaians), and seen a woman (I'd have to guess mid to late 20's) was pulling Gaia up on a computer at one of the booths set up in the middle of the isle of the mall... lol
