I think I'm going to make a lay-out of Teishi's room, just for the heck of it. I like Aya's room. So traditionally Japanese. I'll have my other character join y'all at the Halloween partay!~

Break away from everybody, break away from everything.-= (( Whee! I love how everyone's getting into their character's facets. <3 I'm thinkin of makin a thread somewhere (or a site off Gaia) where you can have your character profile and anything else you want, like pictures or room layouts and stuff. Yes, no? )) =- If you can't stand the way this place is, take yourself to higher places.

(( Sounds good to me. I'm working to get some pictures drawn of Keita so that would really help with organizing their own profiles. :3
Also, I feel left out (since I made a Client). The room designs (including the original ones!) are all really fantastic. Everyone's doing a good job at creating the mansion. biggrin ))

((Don't worry, Keita, you aren't the only one feeling a little left out. ;^.^ I can't draw or think up a room design to save my life, so my boy doesn't even have a picture. I mean...I found one irl that I got my ex to draw for me some time ago and it's better than anything I could ever draw, but...it isn't coloured and is actually just a sketch. I actually really want to get a picture commissioned, honestly. I can't draw myself, but this character is so close to my heart that I would love to have someone else make a good one. Does anyone here know a good artist who takes commissions?))

OCC: I take commissions. But I can only send pictures to e-mail addresses since my laptop is a pain in the butt with pictures and Gaia... But... According to myself and my low self-esteem.... I'm not the best artist.

(( Hnnn I haven't really been doing Gaia commissions of late *switched to cash only commissions*, but if you'd like a commission by me, I'd be glad to make an exception. Here's my gallery if you'd like to take a look. If you'd like a commission please PM me, and we'll talk price in Gaia Gold. Hell, if you can/would rather pay real money I also have prices for that I could send to you. ))

OCC: OMG Keita... I envy your artistic-ness! I can't draw like that! This is my gallery, but these pictures are from last year... and I've improved a little bit. So yeah... But Keita is a much better artist than I am.
Okay... it's not a gallery, it's just a picture. I'll show you more if you want to see them. http://KomikaGirl254.deviantart.com/art/Tennis-120447413

(( Welcome back, Grace. <3. And welcome to the RP, Keita~. Chemo, that's amazingly good for somebody at your age. When I was that young, I was drawing stick Link and stick Zelda. Loool.
So, I know this is getting annoying now. Waiting for a reply and all. IT'S BEEN OVER A MONTH FOR ME. gonk I actually have a half-written reply in my lap right now. I'm just dying from writer's block, I think. Ugh, I'm trying really hard. But, I'm not giving up! Must persevere for Walenty! ))

(( Yay, you're back! smile I enjoyed posting for Tel. I hope I did him justice. Also, I made an OOC thread and a Character Profile thread! SO, everyone, if you would please post your character profile in the thread. I would have posted everyone's for them, but then only I could edit the posts if you wanted add or change something; so I thought it would be more convenient if you posted your own profile so you could make changes to it as often as you wanted instead of me having to do it. So, eventually, I'll delete all the profiles off the first page once they're all transferred to the profile thread. Also, since we now have an OOC thread, try to keep all the silly talk there. If you've got a question, then of course you can still ask it here, but let's keep the OOC discussions in the OOC thread. :] @Myin: Just as long as you don't just up and quit, then I'm all right with it. I trust that you'll follow through; and you're not the only one who's waited a long time to post. xD I'm pretty guilty of it, too. Take the time you need. It's not a life or death thing, after all. ))

(((OOC: WB GRACE! *hug*
Oh and, I just want to make sure that it's okay that I change Aya's pic. I'm thinking of drawing him on my own so his pic will probably be different when I post it up into the thread. Oh, and I'll post up the pics of Aya's bedroom as well. I'm surprised everyone liked them! I was just REALLY bored and sleepy and that and Gackt were basically holding my attention together so... I drew them out...)))
Also...
GOMEN! New job training at Chili's was hard core! I was working nights the last 5 days, 3pm-11:30pm (or even 1am) and so I was totally dead and just came home and fell asleep. My normal schedule now is around 10:30am so I've got the lunch shift. So unless I pick up a shift from someone, my schedule til next Thursday (not this Thursday) is lunches so I'll be around in the evenings to post. I just didn't want you guys to think I died!
I'll be posting for Aya tonight, so have no fear!)))

~ 理 Aya ~
Stairs and doors, fountains and entryways, corridors and elevators and strange men named 'Ajul'... Through it all, Tetsuya followed after Tel, ever listening, ever watching. He paid so much attention in fact, that when the young man somehow managed to get his hair soaking wet, Aya had playfully mussed the sopping strands of hair. "At least it looks stylish now." he had commented with a smile, having messily arranged Tel's hair to where it didn't look like he'd had a mop bucket dropped on his head. Aya's steps were light as he followed after Tel, his gaze focused on any and everything around them, committing the layout to memory.
"I'm fine, Tel." the man spoke softly, nodding at the others question. "Really. I've been feeling much better since lunch and the tea. My throat hardly even hurts anymore."
Once within the library, Tetsuya went right to work in looking over books. He managed to glance at Tel however, smiling softly when he saw the young man holding a book of Shakespeare's Sonnets. After pulling his own novel from the shelf, Aya walked over to the lounge reading area and put his arms on the back of Tel's chair, looking over the man's shoulder. Softly, he spoke the words of his favorite Sonnet...
Kimi wo natsu no ichinichi ni kurabetaradou darou. きみを夏の一日にくらべたらどうだろう。 Kimi wa motto utsukushiku te, motto odayaka da. きみはもっと美しくて、もっとおだやかだ。 Gogatsu no ito oshimu hana no tsubomi wo arappoi kaze ga yusaburi, 五月のいとおしむ花のつぼみを荒っぽい風が揺さぶり、 Natsu to iu keiyakukikan wa attoi uma ni owatteshimau. 夏という契約期間はあっというまに終わってしまう。 Ama no taiyou mo, toki ni, shakunetsu no hikari wo hanatsu keredo, 天の太陽も、ときに、灼熱の光をはなつけれど、 Kugane no kanbase ga kumo ni kakureru koto datte mezurashiku wa nai. 貢金のかんばせが雲にかくれることだって珍しくはない。 Utsukushii mono wa subete, itsuka wa utsuku wo ushinatte kuchiru. 美しいものはすべて、いつかは美を失って朽ちる。 Guuzen ya shizen no heni ga, utsukushii kazari wo hagitotte shimau. 偶然や自然の変移が、美しい飾りをはぎとってしまう。 Shikashi, kimi ga fumetsu no shi no nakade shi to gattaisureba, しかし、きみが不滅の詩のなかで詩と合体すれば、 Kimi no eien no natsu wa utsurou koto wa nai. きみの永遠の夏はうつろうことはない。 Ima tenishite iru sono utsukushi sa wo ushinau koto mo nai. いま手にしているその美しさを失うこともない。 Shinigami ga, yatsu wa haga kage wo hon de iru, tou sobuku koto mo nai. 死神が、やつはわが影を歩んでいる、とうそぶくこともない。 Hito ga iki wo shi, me ga miuru kagiri, kono shi wa ikiru. 人が息をし、眼が見うるかぎり、この詩は生きる。 Soshite, kono shi ga kimi ni inochi wo ataeru. そして、この詩がきみにいのちをたえる。
Once he was finished, Tetsuya pointed to the book in Tel's hands. "It's the 18th Sonnet in there. My particular favorite actually." Smiling, Aya moved around the chair now and sat in one beside Tel. To the young man, it made more sense to speak the sonnet in his native language... more because it was easier for him to memorize than anything else. But he had also first read it in a Japanese language version of Shakespearean Sonnets... and that book still traveled with him. In fact, it was downstairs in his room even now.
Yoshinaga then cracked open the book in his hands and turned to the page which housed the French story known as 'Lanval'. The half-Japanese man did, after all, enjoy medieval tales... Even while reading however, Tetsuya kept an eye on Tel. Mainly because the young man looked like he might keel over at any moment, and that seriously worried the Reader. All he could think was, 'I didn't make him ill, did I?!'...
~ 慶永哲哉 Yoshinaga Tetsuya ~
TRANSLATION:Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate: Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer's lease hath all too short a date: Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complexion dimm'd; And every fair from fair sometime declines, By chance, or nature's changing course untrimm'd; But thy eternal summer shall not fade, Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st, Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade, When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st; So long as man can breathe, or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee. (((OOC: Gomen, I'm really horrid at replying to posts that have a lot of time passage during them. Like, my post will end up not making sense or I'll want to quote a lot of stuff... Thus the semi-summing up at the beginning. Oh and all that Japanese SHOULD be right. I know the Kanji is. Romanji MIGHT be off a bit. But I actually have various Shakespeare works in little Japanese book form (cool ne?!). It took me about an hour and a half to translate the Kanji into Romanji (stupid slow internet) for the Kanji that I didn't know. The English part is from one of my Yale Shakespeare singles (this particular one is from 1952) so any formatting is from that version. The Japanese version is from 1998. Oh, and I couldn't put the translation beneath the line because it doesn't fit right. The "Eien Natsu" Eternal Summer Shall Not Fade part doesn't fit together because of it, so I kept them separate. To add even more oddness to the person who is Nileregwen DoUrden... I've actually translated that sonnet into Tolkien's SINDARIN Elvish... yeah, I'm a dork! Lastly, Lanval is a French story about Lancelot. It's actually REALLY freakin' awesome. Once more to show my dork-side... I have a spinoff version that I wrote for the Lord of the Rings genre... DORKx2!)))
