BlazingInfernoPhoenix Ares or Mars BlazingInfernoPhoenix have another question do gods like you praY BECAUSE well you're a god so well yeah. No, I mean who would I pray to? Think about it. Well you could pray to your your father Zeus or sumthin. Think about it this way - wouldn't you find praying to your own dad a little bit weird...at all? Unless he's dead, of course.

BlazingInfernoPhoenix Oh and who's the weakest of the olympians I know you're the strongest. Technically, Zeus king of the gods is the strongest. I'm not going to go labeling anyone weak, okay? That leads to nothing but trouble.

Otherwise Zeus would have married Aphrodite. If you're going to stick to those stereotypes, you might as well say Aphrodite wore pink and talked like a prom queen (per referandum, her sacred color was blue, since she was born of sky and sea.)

Why not? Zeus himself prayed and sacrificed to Ouranos, Helios and Gaia before he fought the Gigantes in Krete. The gods can pray too.

I prefer to think that each of the goddesses are breathtakingly beautiful in their own ways. Hera has those "oxen eyes" and "milky-white skin" (so I read), Athena has her bright gray eyes. Hera has those "oxen eyes" and "milky-white skin" (so I read), Athena has her bright gray eyes. Speaking of which, most sources say Athena has gray eyes, but one time I read she had blue eyes. What's up with that? Hera's definitely the prettiest, according to Hesiod and Homer. "I sing of golden-throned Hera whom Rhea bare. Queen of the Immortals is she, surpassing all in beauty." And goddesses aren't perfectly beautiful. In fact, half of the time they harass unlucky mortals simply for being better or prettier than them in certain areas. Deities like Tykhe and Nemesis exist specifically to ensure that human life is balanced between sorrow and happiness, because the gods are jealous of mortals who live too happily or look too comely. Athena is described as grey-eyed and blue-eyed Because gray eyes are blue eyes, just with a little less pigmentation.
