((I will try to address different characters situations in different posts to minimize confusion. This one will be for Shravra, but it will describe that box too.
Articx, normally I wouldn't allow you to control the NPCs, but in this situation, I guess it works.))
"Oh, cools, what's this?" Shravra would be able to hear Forest ask as something crashed immediately after with Fang barking.
If Shravra examined the cube, it would look extremely simple. The edges and faces of the cube are smooth. There is no button to open it, and nothing juts out. It seems purposeless.
When Shravra wakes up, it may be difficult or unlikely that he will find the cube because the cube has changed color to camouflage itself.

((ahh! sorry for all the not being hereness XD I was waayyyy too busy)) Isabelle The Barbers Daughter Disturbances in the dark Isabelle heard the crash in the alley from the desk she was sitting at and moved to the window to have a look, she witnessed a dog rushing around and running into the smithy. Scowling she went to lie down, until something caught her eye, It was one of the cubes. Whats this? Looks untrustworthy... Is it man made? I might be demon made though... Hmm, If i take it in, bad things could happen... But if i need it and get rid of it, bad things could ALSO happen... ********> She thought as she studied it through her window. Isabelle lifted a small wooden casket and fetched the cube and locked it inside. She then set off towards the graveyard, to bury it in a place no one would dare to disturb it.

As Shane tripped over the threshold to his bar, he fell right next to a small cube. "Curious," he thought, "this cube seems to emit some sort of otherworldly power, but it could just be the alcohol speaking. Man, I hate hangovers..." He picked up the cube and pocketed it as he stumbled back up into his standing position and staggered off.
(Lyris has no updates right now. He's just rushing around and getting lost in the city :3 )

((Where did everyone come from? O_O;;;
Umm, guess I'll try to get Shizuru out of Aiden's house..))
Shizuru stayed obediently on the ladder where Haucon set her. When Aidan gave her the mixture, nothing changed at first. But then, Shizuru's head clearred and she sounded/felt more sober. "I did not just do what I think I just did," she mumbled when she saw Aidan, Haucon, and the mixture bottle. Yes I did, didn't I? What a lousy doctor I've been today... hmph!
"Sorry for being a burden, if I've been one," Shizuru apologized. "And thank you. It's getting late, and I'm sorry. I guess I should get going." She bowed slightly and then turned to leave. She'd get home safe and beat herself up over getting drunk before going to sleep.

Haucon turned to look at Aidan as Shizuru regained lucidity. "Wow that stuff works quickly. I'm impressed." he said with a smile. "It's late, and now I've seen you home safe." he said to Aidan. "Perhaps I should escort the doctor home and then I'll be on my way home at last." he added. "I must once again thank you for your company today, and extend to you the offer to stop by the stables whenever you have a spare minute. We'll see what we can do about teaching you to ride." He smiled broadly at her and bowed slightly. "Hopefully your hand will mend soon too..." he said sheepishly, still feeling somewhat responsible.

((Alright, I lied. This post isn't the time skip. Sure. I'll wait until Christmas for the timeskip post.))
The city was asleep as a lone cloaked man walked through the streets. The man was dressed in simple clothes, which were hidden by the cloak. The disguised Lord Thomas was leaving Chronopolis the day after the festival without a horse, as he had promised Allen, the captain of the High Guard. He was simply leaving very early in the morning without anyone noticing. Allen would probably figure it out when the captain woke up. The man’s intuition in organization was laudable.
The town was quiet now, and Thomas grinned as he passed through the North Gate unnoticed. The guards were awake, but some of them were not paying as much attention as they could be. It was after the festival after all, but could be most unfortunate if an attack happened. And besides, Thomas was employing some of his own magic to mask his aura and himself.
He was counting on his captains and the people of Chronopolis to act upon themselves if anything happened. After all, they couldn’t always depend on him. He had some international business to take care of this time, and it was more important in the bigger picture, especially with the current situation with Zion’s gates open.
((Edit: Closing plot post before time skip.))

((Time Skip to TWO Days after the festival in the morning.))
The day was a rainy one by far, a stark contrast to the beautiful weather two days ago for the festival. Kevin yawned. The festival had been pretty good. Nothing catastrophic had happened, and Adam had gotten drunk as expected. No one had been able to find the lord the next day, but everyone went about his or her daily business as if it didn’t matter.
“Kevin! Wake up!” a voice hollered coupled with violent knocking on his door.
… and the captains had already been conned into a deal with Forest to “decorate” the castle or else deal with Forest ruining everything and facing Thomas’s wrath, which could never be good.
The Sea Guard captain rolled out of bed. “Be out in five minutes, Kira…”
“You’d better! You were due an hour ago! ”
“What? It’s already this late!” In a flurry of the moment, Kevin got himself ready and charged out the door.
----
Meanwhile, Shravra had been commissioned to make a plaque by Forest that says “I am an evil demonic monster with fuzzy hair.” The plaque requires some sort of potion from the apothecary.
Shane’s bar is having another bar brawl, though a bit early since it is only the morning. The lead investigator for the Redite murders is there as is Adam, the captain of the infantry. The investigator is having an argument with Adam about the integrity of the infantry, seeing how Adam seems to get drunk often, and how maybe if the guard did a better job, the murders wouldn’t be such an issue.
Haucon has been informed by Allen that Forest has conned them into decorating the castle into “cuteness,” as ridiculous as it sounds. But it is better than dealing with Forest seriously blowing up the roof of the castle as she has done before while experimenting with chemicals in the castle research lab.
Isabelle is getting customers for hair cuts. Why they are there may depend on price, quality, adventure, or something else.
((Heads up: Chronopolis will be attacked soon.
Mal, I haven’t gotten any response from Halcione.
Did I miss anyone active?))

(( 'Kay. I'll just act as if Lyris has given up the hunt and stayed at Shane's bar/inn ))
Shane woke up to the sound of fighting. "What could it be this time..?" he grumbled as he got out of bed and dressed in his day-clothes. He also belted on his broadsword, for precautionary measures. He stepped down the stairs and rubbed an eye as he saw an investigator and the infantry captain duking it out. "Men, men! Shane called at them. "Calm down, or I'll have to punt you both out of here. Now, what in the name of Hellfire is going on here?" he finished off.
Lyris, ever the sleeper, snored through the whole confrontation.

((Me? I'll get Shizuru to the bar.))
Shizuru sighed. It was getting past the busy point from the festival. Lots of people came in for injuries from the festival from bar fights, and but things were toning down.
Shizuru decided to go to the bar for a quick drink and catch up on some news. She didn't really go too often. When she got there, there was this huge commotion. The bartender was yelling at people fighting to stop.

((Happy New Year, folks! Sorry about that, Lise.
By the way, if anyone is interested in playing Captain Adam (his profile is on the first page), send me a sample post RPing as Adam and apply. Please do more than 5 sentences so I can see the character personality. Thanks. I am considering opening him up as a character.))
"...well, whoever it is giving us bloody hell and probably enjoying it!" the investigator shouted in response to Captain Adam.
"God damn it, just because -" Before Adam could speak any further, a roaring voice interrupted.
"Calm down, or I'll have to punt you both out of here. Now, what in the name of Hellfire is going on here?"
There was momentary silence as the investigator and Adam recognized the tavern owner. Then, the investigator stuttered, "Hellfire?" in confusion at Shane's choice of words.
Due to Adam's ordinarily blatant use of foul or strange words, the captain had absolutely no qualm with Shane's choice of words. But he did have a sense of personal pride and pride for the Infantry.... even when he was drunk. And he was more than half drunk already, ever so early this morning. "Nothing, this S.O.B. and I were finishing our conversation."
"What?" The investigator was quite obviously the more respectful of the two and the skinnier. He wasn't as well built as Adam, and, if this roleplay occurred on Earth, one might be reminded of the story of Sherlock Holmes when seeing the investigator.
Back in the corner, a couple soldiers were still fighting, but their comrades were trying to pull them apart. There is a large chance that they might hit Lyris, if Lyris is in the bar area and not upstairs in the rooms.
((Adam's temper works wonders and surely reflects well on his outside image to the public...
And if someone puts in a character for investigator or assistant investigator....))

Shane had had enough of bar fights. "If you can't shut up, then I would kindly ask you to exit the building. People are trying to sleep, y'know." at this, he gestured to Lyris, who was slumped across a table, obviously half-drunk, yet snoring. As he looked over, Shane noticed two more soldiers fighting. "Ellarik be damned..." he cursed as he stomped over to the scene. "That means you too!" he shouted as he pointed to the door. "Break it up or move out!"
Lyris was slumped over a table, sleeping in a half-drunk stupor, snoring through the whole thing. He shifted a little.
