((Can someone catch me up? I was out of town this past weekend, plus it's exam time at school, so I don't have a whole lot of time on my hands right now. Sorry.))

((We just had dinner; Nich and Gitano are talking about what would happen if vampires ruled the world I think; Baylor got drunk but soon got over it; Baylor and Izzy are talking, Izzy wondering if Baylor's alright; and Willow and Zane are talking about something, not quite sure.))

((Thank you. ^^))

Arisu listened to the chatter around her, not catching a single word. She looked up at the sky, admiring the stars. She had blocked all the thoughts from the other people from her mind so she could just enjoy the night. Maybe it was just because she was a vampire, but she had always loved nighttime. She felt at home in the dark.

Anya stood up and walked back to the group not sure what to do. She took a seat at an empty table and rested her head on her arms on the table and sighed.

Willow had been contently watching the red planet, noting that it was a rather pleasant color, when she "felt" the "air" behind her "shift" slightly. If she were to put the feeling into terms she was familiar with she would describe it as someone's aura brushing against her own; Willow had always been sensitive about things like that, it was a bit of a gift that came with Wicca, the ability to sense energy. All in all she knew Zane had shifted in more, and she stiffened slightly subconsciously, uncomfortable for a moment being that close to a stranger. So she distracted herself with science, "They say it used to have water. Maybe it wasn't always so barren. Maybe it used to be a bright green grassy wonderland." She suggested as she straightened up, smiling wryly at him.

"Who knows"Zane said casually while shrugging. Zane then quietly took a step back and smiled, reaching behind him to release his hair from the dark ribbon. At this point all Zane could do was smile at Willow in an absent minded way while he restyled his hair. For some reason Zane had always hated to let his hair down or to let it stay the same to long, so he often paused at random times to do something with it.
Once Zane finished what he was doing he ran his hand through his bangs and and made a slight "um" sound in his throat as he thought.

"So" Zane blurted out after a moment of silence from him "What would "you" like to do? I feel as if I may be forcing my own...Hobby? On you." Zane flashed his ice melting smile for a moment before he continued "What do you say we let you pick something? I may be able to manage it...I think." His kindness seemed apparent, but it still left one wondering why he was being so kind when he usually was childish and enjoyed finding his own amusement by pestering others. Maybe it was the night itself, or the fact that he was calmer at night. Either way he seemed to be enjoying himself for the moment.

Willow straightened and turned to him, a smile on her face that faltered for a second when she took in his changed hair, but it flared back after the brief second. “My hobbies are boring, I think we’d better stick to yours,” She laughed. “That is, of course, unless you like writing books and reading them, otherwise…” She gave a little shrug.

Anya stood up again and walked over to Gitano and Nich and sat down in her previous chair.

Nich looked up at Anya, and an even stronger feeling than the one before wracked his mind. He was cursed with a cloud of torment of his thought, and without saying a word he stood.

Looking distraught he crossed the garden into the bushes and sat on a rock in a lotus pose. He remembered how to meditate from his time in tibet, he just hoped it helped stop the pulsing in his long dead heart.

Gitano watched as Anya sat back and Nich walk away. She cocked her head and wondered what was going on with him. She wanted to follow, but something told her that it wasn't the best idea to do so. She sighed and sat down, not sure what to do now.

Anya sighed. "I think he's hungry. I highly doubt that my 'beauty' enraptures him." She smiled a little at her joke. I hope you two had a pleasant conversation. "She tried her hardest to hide her insecurities but she didn't know if vampire could sense it.

Zane smiled and mimicked her with a shrug of his own.
"I read plenty of books" He paused for a moment "Although I've never written anything...Who knows maybe one day I will" Zane couldn't help but smile to himself as he thought about one day writing a book himself, after all he had to do something with the years to come.
"Well I really don't wish to bore you. I don't mind doing something else I promise. Its that or we go for a walk" Zane gave Willow a kind, if not a slightly stubborn smile before he turned around and spun the telescope with a flick of his wrist, only to stop it at a random point and bend down to see if he had stopped it on anything of interest

Willow tilted her head up so she could look down at Zane, and then she narrowed her eyes a bit and planted her feet firmly while she put her hands on her hips, the only thing to give her away was the slight smile on her lips. "Alright then, let's go for a walk. Walking seems to be the only hobby we have in common aside from reading, and I'm no good for company if I'm reading." She announced.

Neither am I" Zane retorted as he turned to Willow. His comment was obviously about her not being good company when she was reading, this in fact was something he could relate to.
Then as if provoked by some higher force he quickly reached out and grasped her right hand.
"So lets go." Zane exclaimed with a slightly impish giggle, as he spun around, his hair swishing from the spin. He then began to walk off with her in tow.
Of course he didn't have Willow's hand forcefully held, if she was to pull back her hand it would of undoubtedly came from his grasp.
Either way Zane intended to head out towards the lake first. That was unless Willow spoke up about wishing to go elsewhere.
"Just think of the stories you can tell your parents" Zane quickly said over his shoulder with a smile. It was obvious what he was getting at when he said it as well.

Face flushing pink, Willow's fingers twitched slightly, unable to decide if they should hold back or what. She allowed Zane to pull her along as she kept up with his pace, trusting that he knew the place much better than she did since she was a mere guest. "I don't know if I would even tell them about this, I'm not sure how they would react." She explained with a slight laugh.

Baylor sat on the balcony railing, staring at the stars. Although he was sitting in a very dangerous spot, since he could fall, he did not seem to mind much. Baylor sighed at the sight of both the stars and the nearby city lights, wondering how human-kind or any other sentient being like them had managed to screw-up a beautiful world like this.
