Marri watched fight below, with voices rather then weapons, intreged. If she had not been worried about drawing attention to the little group of survivers she would have circled to watch longer. Marri was bothered by wounds that where arranged across her body and felt that she needed to get some rest and patch her body up soon.

Streak turned to Aronoth. "We must find safe ground. The safest place in the land was Anier and you saw what they did to it." Streak then turned to everyone else. "I am lucky in the sense that I didn't. I fear that no matter where we go we will have to keep on running. I already have to run away from my shadow and now we have an army on our tail. I don't have long to live, I already feel the life-force failing me. I will die within the next week. Issildia has tried to prevent it, tried to delay it, tried to deny iy, but one way or another I will die. That is what it all comes down to. And to tell you the truth I'd rather die in honour than fear. I'm not saying we fight, we have already lost or chance at that, but I fear that no matter how fast we run, an army can always run faster. They have the advantage of road, a privilage we will never have. They have speed, where we have nothing. We are few in numbers. If we run we delay the inevitable, if we fight we die quickly. There has to be another way. There is no hope for me, but you all have a chance. Unless the impossible happens then I will die, but you all only need a miracle. And trust me when I say, miracles do happen." Streak still wasn't sure where he was going with this speech. It was changing all the time. "I have to do something. A warrior must fight until the end, in his dieing moments. Bravery is not about being fearless, but about confronting your worst fears. I fear the death of us." As he spoke his words, the Sun began to fall. And with it, so did Streak's speech.

((It doesn't take a genius to work out what's going to happen in the next week in RP time. 2 days to go until possession and 6 until, well I don't need to say do I, surely you worked it out considering I said it about 6 times in the speech.))

Issildia, though absolutely furious with the stranger's words, fought back her rage calling upon her Anierian training that enabled one of her station to bury their emotion and conscience deep within the their sub conscious.

"It is true...We can't out run them if they give chase, so..." said Issildia pausing, "Our only option is to give them something more enticing to pursue, other than the survivors.."

Issildia then looked at Streak, "At the Tower of Vestain in the far reaches of the Aldrene desert, the Ryera clan is said to dwell, I would assume since they are the stronghold of the Necromantic ways, that we may find the necromancer that is trying to kill you Streak..." Issildia paused for a moment after taking an slow breath,

"We can send the present survivors on to Terradova under the guard of the Keirdon guards, if their leader should allow it..." said Issildia glancing at Amber, before looking back to the group,

"And I, along with whoever else chooses to come, will see to it that the Larovian troops do not pursue the survivors further, after which myself and who ever else wishes to come...will continue on to the Aldrene desert to seek out the Necromancer that wants to kill Streak."

"I'm with you, I have very little choice anyway. And in any case, if the Necromancer that haunts me wanted me dead, I probably already would be. He wants something from me, but I don't know what." Streak said. "I feel I won't die by his hands."

Aronoth looked back at the stranger, the bottom half of his body seemingly invisible. His eyes were no longer red, now purple, but was receeding back to their normal blue. "Why do you bury your emotion? I can see you fighting it, I can see it in your face. It is not a healthy thing to do. It wrinkles the face, and causes an early slumber... But, thats unimportant at the moment. If you require my assistance, I can help combat the necromancer. Also, if we can spare a day, I will be able to summon the Impressions to defend the survivors. However, if you would like me to leave this land once again, I am also willing. But, be quick, let me hold you up no longer."

Issildia looked at Aronoth as he ended his statment,

"Emotion can only hinder actions and cloud the mind, my profession demands clear thought and action through precision, as does this situation...mistakes can not be made, at least not on my part..." she said, her voice carrying and icy edge.

"But" she said carefully, "If you can offer any sort of protection for the survivors on the road to the Ruins of Terradova then do what you can...and if you wish to come with Streak and myself, then that is your choice...so...do as you wish"

Amber felt with the woman's words, being in the same circumstances herself.
Despite how she liked her and her guard to be used in such a way, she did have to admit that it would serve a greater good for the refugees to be escorted to Keirdon rather than left to Larovia.
Her noble captain, and gracious steed, snorted what Amber thought to mean discomfort with the hot headed Wizemnigot. Although she would have enjoyed hearing the actual comment, Amber far preferred the comfort of a ride. She merely patted him on the neck and rubbed his shoulder, whispering into her ear, "I agree."
And her parents thought she would do no good as a horse whisperer...
The thought brought a pleasant, melodious laugh from Amber's lips and warmth seemed to emanate from her glowing features.
"I agree with you but for one thing." Amber joined in a soft and pleasant tone, "Joy is quite necessary for maintaining a clear mind, and laughter is a catharsis in and of itself."
Amber thought of her guards, and how silly she must look, joining in a philosophical discussion amidst a battle.
Her features grew more solemn and again she regarded the group as whole rather than the leaders alone.
"I will take any who wish to travel to Keirdon and assure safety from my accompaniment."

((Question: Why are we spliting?))

(((Well Streak has only 3 days until the Necromancer will resume control of him again, so plans are being made to send the survivors onward to Keirdon, while our assorted characters do what they can to draw off the Larovian forces from pursuing the survivors... at the same time we will be traveling towards the Tower of Vestain in the Aldrene desert to find the Necromancer that is trying to kill Streak. (FYI~The tower of Vestain is something of the Ryera clan's stronghold), thus our group of characters is headed towards the desert because the most likely place for a competent Necromancer to be is with the Ryeras.

I will make a replying post tomorrow, it is rather late here lol. )))

Streak could sense something in the distance, only a mile away. "I sense enemies nearby. I we are to make a move, I suggest we do it now." Streak said.

Aronoth nodded at the commander, "Just let me confirm that". He began to rise as his now-air legs pushed him higher and higher into the sky. He saw the mobilised army off in the distance, than decended quickly.

"The man is correct. They are not far away, we must leave now. I shall go with the commander and the women," Aronoth looked over to the leader of the Guard, "unless you require my assistance."

At that moment a chill passed through Issildia's form, and her eyes flared slightly as fear crossed her face, "Streak" she said, "My father is with those that now hunt the survivors...I can sense his presence, and I am most certain that he can sense mine..." Issildia then looked off towards the way that they had come, back to where the smoldering embers of Anier lay. "I can deal with Reinsen while those that have chosen to come, disrupt the Larovian troops that Reinsen is leading...if things turn out as planned then we will be able to retreat to the Heriden mountains, then from there we will travel towards the northwestern road that leads to Faltora...once there we will decide the next course of action..."

Issildia then drew her scimitars with a slight flourish, she then spoke to survivors in the same tongue that she had spoken in before... after hearing her words the survivors turned their attention to the guards from Keirdon, for they were now in their charge.

"So..." said Issildia as she turned towards the north where the Larovian troops would approach from, "Let us return the favor " she hissed.

As Issildia drew her blades the sound of numerous footfalls could be heard approaching from the north. She then looked back at the others, "Get the survivors moving!" she shouted before turning back to the north where the Larovian host of soldiers would soon appear.

"For Anier..." whispered Issildia as she suddenly disappeared in a swirl of shadows. She reappeared high in the branches of a great oak that cast it's great canopy over the soldiers below. It seemed that this was only a small detachment sent out to clean up what the main attack had left behind. There were less than two hundred armed soldiers slowly crossing below her.

Issildia crouched low in the branches of the oak as she suddenly sighted Reinsen Nevar, who was leading the group. Issildia looked for a moment at the silver snake shaped ring that she had taken from Demitri as he had died. "Perhaps we shall meet sooner than you think" she muttered as she slowly stood, her expression grim.

The soldiers below suddenly drew their weapons in unison as a cloaked figure suddenly dropped out of the trees above them, landing in the center of their ranks. The soldiers nearest the intruder had little time to ponder what fell creature was attacking them, for they all to soon felt the bite of a scimitar's blade against their necks.

As Issildia fought the soldiers she caught her father's gaze during the exchange of blows. The moment that their eyes met, time seemed to slow and everything grew pale and colorless...insignificant: This moment seemed utterly timeless as all the anger, hate and fear the two had for each other was exchanged through the moment.

Then time snapped back to it's unrelenting pace, as the edge of a knife sliced through the sleeve of Issildia's leather armor, leaving a long and slender cut down the length of her left upper arm.

Issildia responded to the attack with one of her own, her scimitar Sable racing into the torso of her attacker.

Even though Issildia was managing to keep most of the soldier's a bay, more were crowding in around her to take the places of the fallen, she couldn't hold out for much longer, she could only hope that the others would enter into the battle soon enough.

Streak dived inoto the battle and cut his way towards Issildia. He ignored the gaze of Reinsen as he was told it was powerful enough to make someone loss themselves, even fight for the enemy's cause. He eventually met in the middle with Issildia. The temptation to look Reinsen in the eye was mounting, but Reinsen didn't seem to be trying to catch his eye, but was locked with Issildia. If he had tried he probably would hve succeeded. Streak didn't know the power of his will and had no wanting to test it. He looked to Issildia.
"You're not going to die on me yet." Streak said. It was meant to be a funny comment, but he made it serious. He'd seen and felt to much to joke around now. If it had only been one week ago, things would have been ifferent. But now, there was no going back.

"I don't plan to" returned Issildia grimly, as she cut down another of the soldiers, with a swift downward slice. "I will deal with my father, Streak...you do what you can here...but if things get out of hand then I want you to retreat."

Streak gave a quick glance and a nod. He started battering through all the enemy's troops. One managed to give im a small cut on his left arm,but he barely felt it. He countinued on and hoped Issildia could get rid of Reinsen before things got out of hand.
